Two ent-isopimarane-type diterpenoids were isolated from the New Zealand liverwort Trichocolea mollissima (Hook. f. and Tayl.) Gott., together with a known 1alpha-hydroxy-ent-sandaracopimara-8(14),15-diene. Their absolute structures have been established by modified Mosher's method, X-ray crystallography and by analyses of their CD spectra.  相似文献

Five (15) ent-kaurane diterpenoids and 17 other known ones, were isolated from the leaves and stems of Isodon sinuolata. Their structures were determined on the basis of spectroscopic methods including 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopic analysis. All compounds were evaluated for cytotoxicity against a small panel of cell lines. Some compounds exhibited significant cytotoxicity.  相似文献

Three ent-verticillane diterpenoids and two ent-sesquiterpenoids were isolated from the Japanese liverwort Jackiella javanica Schiffn. together with five known ent-verticillane and three ent-kaurane diterpenoids, and three sesquiterpenoids. Five ent-verticillane epoxides were synthetically prepared from ent-verticillols action to clarify the absolute configuration of natural ent-9,10-epoxyverticillol. Their structures were established by extensive NMR spectroscopic and X-ray crystallographic analyses.  相似文献

Two eremophilanolides, 5-epidilatanolides A and B, as well as a new natural bibenzyl were isolated from an Argentine collection of the liverwort Frullania brasiliensis, along with the known eudesmane-type sesquiterpene lactones nepalensolide A, nepalensolide B, (+)-frullanolide, and (+)-dihydrofrullanolide, the hopanoid zeorin, the four sterols stigmasta-4,22-dien-3,6-dione, stigmasta-4,22-dien-3-one, stigmasterol, and sitosterol, and a trace amount of atraric acid. The structure and stereochemistry of the eremophilanolides and the bibenzyl were established by a combination of extensive NMR spectroscopy experiments and X-ray crystallographic analysis. Absolute configurations of the new compounds were derived on the basis of CD spectra.  相似文献

Chromatographic fractionations of the toluene extract of the heartwood of Excoecaria parvifolia collected in Australia resulted in the isolation of 12 beyerane diterpenes (1-12), and the triterpene, lupeol. Four of the isolated diterpenoids (5-7 and 12) have unusual structures: ent-3-oxa-beyer-15-en-2-one, (5); ent-15,16-epoxy-2-hydroxy-19-norbeyer-1,4-dien-3-one (6); methyl ent-2,4-seco-15,16-epoxy-4-oxo-3,19-dinorbeyer-15-en-2-oate (7); and ent-2,17-dihydroxy-19-norbeyer-1,4,15-trien-3-one (12). The structures were established by spectroscopic analyses, NMR data comparisons with similar diterpenes, and chemical correlations. All the diterpenes are assumed to have the same absolute configuration as the co-occurring (+)-stachenol (4). Diosphenol 2 and nor-lactone 5 exhibited significant potency in bioassays for cytotoxic activity against leukemia cells (L1210). Plausible biosynthetic pathways are proposed to explain the origin of the diterpene metabolites.  相似文献

An extensive study of metabolites present in Euphorbia esula led to isolation of 16 ingenane diterpenoids 1-16 together with the known ingenane derivative 17 and four known cycloartane triterpenoids. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic studies and comparison with known related compounds. All the compounds were assayed for their inhibitory activity against human HeLa cervical cancer cell line.  相似文献

A new halimane diterpenoid and the previously known labdane rhinocerotinoic acid were isolated from Plectranthus ornatus Codd. In addition, a new monoacetyl derivative of the abietane coleon U was found among the constituents of Plectranthus grandidentatus Gürke. Four labdanes with a 8α,15-epoxy ring (8α,15-epoxylabdan-16β-oic acid; 8α,15-epoxy-16-norlabdan-13-one; 8α,15-epoxy-16-norlabdane; and 16-acetoxy-8α,15-epoxylabdane) and the known compound ambreinolide were isolated from the hexane extract of the aerial parts of the grass Eragrostis viscosa. The structures of all compounds were established based on spectroscopic data and the X-ray analysis of 8α,15-epoxy-16-norlabdan-13-one. The hexane extract presented moderate activity against the snail Biomphalaria glabrata. 8α,15-Epoxylabdan-16β-oic acid showed no mutagenic activity for doses up to 1000 μg/plate and no significant clastogenic activity for doses up to 100 μg/ml.  相似文献

The Heliohebe group of Veronica (sect. Hebe) consists of five species occurring in the South Island of New Zealand. These species and a hybrid were analysed for their flavonoids. Five flavone glycosides were isolated and identified by NMR spectroscopy and three additional glycosides were detected by LC–UV–MS. Luteolin 7-O-, 3′-O- and 4′-O-glucosides and apigenin 7-O-glucoside were present in all six taxa investigated, 6-hydroxyluteolin glycosides were found in five and a luteolin caffeoylglycoside in four taxa, while a hypolaetin 7-O-glycoside was detected only in Veronica pentasepala. The 3′-O- and 4′-O-glucosides of luteolin are also common in other species of Veronica sect. Hebe (restricted to the Southern Hemisphere), but are rare in Northern Hemisphere species of Veronica and thus act as good chemotaxonomic markers for the section. The relatively simple flavonoid profiles found in the Heliohebe group are plesiomorphic and consistent with the group's status as sister to the Hebe clade. Based on the detected flavonoids, two groups could be distinguished within the Heliohebe clade: (1) Veronica hulkeana, Veronica lavaudiana and Veronica raoulii, characterised by luteolin caffeoylglycoside, and (2) V. pentasepala and Veronica scrupea, where this compound is replaced by a 6-hydroxyluteolin dihexoside.  相似文献

Two mulinane-type diterpenoids were isolated from Azorella compacta; namely 20-hydroxymulin-11,13-dienyl acetate and 13,14-dihydroxymulin-11-en-20-oic acid. The structures were elucidated by analysis of their spectroscopic data. These compounds, as well as three previously isolated diterpenes, were evaluated as potential in vivo growth inhibitors of Plasmodium berghei NK 65 on infected mice at an intraperitoneal dose of 10 mg/kg/day. Sixty percent and forty-two percent growth inhibition were obtained with 17-acetoxymulin-11,13-dien-20-oic acid and 13, 14-dihydroxymulin-11-en-20-oic acid, respectively.  相似文献

Two novel labdane diterpenoids, 15ξ-methoxy-labdan-8(17),11(E),13(14)-trien-15,16-olide (1) and 12(S)-hydroxy-15ξ-methoxy-labdan-8(17),13(14)-dien-15,16-olide (2) were isolated from the rhizomes of Aframomum sceptrum K. Schum (Zingiberaceae). Their structures were established on the basis of their spectroscopic data. Stigmast-4-en-6β-ol-3-one and caryophylene oxide were also obtained. In vitro trypanocidal and leishmanicidal activities of labdanes 1 and 2 were evaluated. Compound 2 exhibited activity similar to that of reference drugs against Leishmania donovani.  相似文献

Three new ent-kaurene diterpenoids, oreskaurins A-C (1-3), together with ten known ent-kaurene diterpenoids, enmenin monoacetate (4), effusanin E (5), adenolin B (6), maoecrystal G (7), enmelol (8), trichokaurin (9), sodoponin (10), trichorabdal A (11), nodosin (12), enmein (13), and a flavonoid, vitexin (14), were isolated from Isodon oresbius. Their structures were determined by spectroscopic means. Compound 12 showed inhibitory activity toward K562 cells with IC(50)=1.43 microg/ml.  相似文献

Bio-assay guided fractionation of an acetone extract of leaf material from Plectranthus saccatus Benth. resulted in the isolation of a beyerane diterpenoid. This compound, characterised by spectroscopic methods as ent-3beta-(3-methyl-2-butenoyl)oxy-15-beyeren-19-oic acid, showed insect antifeedant activity against Spodoptera littoralis. Known quinonoid abietane diterpenoids obtained from new sources included a mixture of the (4R,19R) and (4R,19S) diastereoisomers of coleon A from P. aff. puberulentus J.K. Morton, coleon A lactone from P. puberulentus J.K. Morton, and coleon U and coleon U quinone from P. forsteri 'Marginatus' Benth. These compounds, and the crude acetone extracts from the leaf surfaces of 11 species of Plectranthus, were tested for antifeedant activity against S. littoralis, antibacterial activity against Bacillus subtilis and Pseudomonas syringae and antifungal activity against Cladosporium herbarum. The coleon A mixture showed potent antifeedant activity against S. littoralis, whereas coleon U showed the greatest antimicrobial activity.  相似文献

Bioguided-fractionation of an acetone extract of the roots of Salvia cilicica (Lamiaceae) led to isolation of two new diterpenes, 7-hydroxy-12-methoxy-20-nor-abieta-1,5(10),7,9,12-pentaen-6,14-dione and abieta-8,12-dien-11,14-dione (12-deoxy-royleanone), together with oleanolic acid, ursolic acid, ferruginol, inuroyoleanol and cryptanol. Their structures were determined spectroscopically, which included HREIMS and 2D NMR spectroscopic analysis. The new abietane derivatives showed appreciable in vitro antileishmanial activity against intracellular amastigote forms of both Leishmania donovani (IC(50) values of 170 and 120 nM, respectively) and Leishmania major (IC(50) values of 290 and 180 nM, respectively). The triterpenoic acids were found to be potently active against amastigote (IC(50) values of 7-120 nM) and moderately active against promastigote stages (IC(50) values of 51-137 nM) of the two Leishmania species.  相似文献
