The structure of the mannan of Candida albicans NIH A-207 strain (serotype A) was investigated by adopting mild acetolysis followed by enzymolysis with an Arthrobacter GJM-1 exo-alpha-mannosidase. The resultant oligosaccharides, from pentaose to octaose (where manp = D-mannopyranose), were identified as manp beta (1----2)manp alpha (1----2)manp alpha (1----2)manp alpha (1----2)manp, manp beta (1----2)manp beta (1----2)manp alpha (1----2)manp alpha (1----2)- manp alpha (1----2)manp, manp beta (1----2)manp beta (1----2)manp beta (1----2)manp alpha (1----2)manp alpha (1----2)manp alpha (1----2)manp and manp beta (1----2)manp beta (1----2)manp beta (1----2)manp beta (1----2)manp alpha (1----2)manp alpha (1----2)manp alpha (1----2)manp, respectively. Analyses of alpha-linked oligosaccharides obtained by acetolysis under conventional conditions gave the same oligosaccharides, from biose to heptaose, as those obtained from the mannans of C. albicans NIH B-792 (serotype B) and J-1012 (serotype A, formerly serotype C).  相似文献

The solution structure of the (6)F1(1)F2(2)F2 fragment from the gelatin-binding region of fibronectin has been determined (Protein Data Bank entry codes 1e88 and 1e8b). The structure reveals an extensive hydrophobic interface between the non-contiguous (6)F1 and (2)F2 modules. The buried surface area between (6)F1 and (2)F2 ( approximately 870 A(2)) is the largest intermodule interface seen in fibronectin to date. The dissection of (6)F1(1)F2(2)F2 into the (6)F1(1)F2 pair and (2)F2 results in near-complete loss of gelatin-binding activity. The hairpin topology of (6)F1(1)F2(2)F2 may facilitate intramolecular contact between the matrix assembly regions flanking the gelatin-binding domain. This is the first high-resolution study to reveal a compact, globular arrangement of modules in fibronectin. This arrangement is not consistent with the view that fibronectin is simply a linear 'string of beads'.  相似文献

Recombinant I(1)(PP2A) and I(2)(PP2A) did not affect the activity of the catalytic subunit of protein phosphatase 1 (PP1(C)) with (32)P-labeled myelin basic protein, histone H1, and phosphorylase when assayed in the absence of divalent cations. However, in the presence of Mn(2+), I(1)(PP2A) and I(2)(PP2A) stimulated PP1(C) activity by 15-20-fold with myelin basic protein and histone H1 but not phosphorylase. Half-maximal stimulation occurred at 2 and 4 nM I(1)(PP2A) and I(2)(PP2A), respectively. Moreover, I(1)(PP2A) and I(2)(PP2A) reduced the Mn(2+) requirement by about 30-fold to 10 microM. In contrast, PP1(C) activity was unaffected by I(1)(PP2A) and I(2)(PP2A) in the presence of Co(3+) (0.1 mM), Mg(2+) (2 mM), Ca(2+) (0.5 mM), and Zn(2+) (0.1 mM). Following gel filtration chromatography on Sephacryl S-200 in the presence of Mn(2+), PP1(C) coeluted with I(1)(PP2A) and I(2)(PP2A) in the void volume. However, when I(1)(PP2A) and I(2)(PP2A) or Mn(2+) were omitted, PP1(C) emerged with a V(e)/V(0) of approximately 1.6. The results demonstrate that I(1)(PP2A) and I(2)(PP2A) associate with and modify the substrate specificity of PP1(C) in the presence of physiological concentrations of Mn(2+). A novel role is suggested for I(1)(PP2A) and I(2)(PP2A) in the reciprocal regulation of two major mammalian serine/threonine phosphatases, PP1 and PP2A.  相似文献

The primary structural analysis of O- and N-linked carbohydrate chains of the C-1-esterase inhibitor purified from normal serum was carried out by 400-MHz 1H-NMR spectroscopy. C-1-esterase inhibitor protein of a molecular weight of 116,000 daltons contains 24 O-glycans: NeuAc (alpha 2-3) Gal (beta 1-3) GalNAc, 4 N-glycans: NeuAc (alpha 2-6) Gal (beta 1-4) (GlcNAc (beta 1-2) Man (alpha 1-3) [NeuAc (alpha 2-6) Gal (beta 1-4) GlcNAc (beta 1-2) Man (alpha 1-6)] Man (beta 1-4) GlcNAc (beta 1-4) GlcNAc and 2 N-glycans: NeuAc (alpha 2-3) Gal (beta 1-4) GlcNAc (beta 1-2) Man (alpha 1-3) [NeuAc (alpha 2-3) Gal (beta 1-4) GlcNAc (beta 1-2) Man (alpha 1-6)] Man (beta 1-4) GlcNAc (beta 1-4) GlcNAc. 30% of the N-glycans are fucosylated.  相似文献

Five novel oligosaccharides (tetra-, penta- and hexa-saccharides) were synthesized by glucosyltransfer from beta-D-glucose 1-phosphate to isokestose (O-beta-D-fructofuranosyl-(2-->1)-O-beta-D-fructofuranosyl-(2-->1)-alpha-D-glucopyranoside) or nystose (O-beta-D-fructofuranosyl-(2-->1)-O-beta-D-fructofuranosyl-(2-->1)-O-beta-D-fructofuranosyl-(2-->1)-alpha-D-glucopyranoside) using Thermoanaerobacter brockii kojibiose phosphorylase. The oligosaccharides were identified as 2(2-alpha-D-glucopyranosyl)(m)isokestose; [O-alpha-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->2)](m)-O-[beta-D-fructofuranosyl-(2-->1)](2)-alpha-D-glucopyranoside: m=1, 2, and 3, and 2(2-alpha-D-glucopyranosyl)(n)nystose; [O-alpha-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->2)](n)-O-[beta-D-fructofuranosyl-(2-->1)](3)-alpha-D-glucopyranoside: n=1 and 2 using gas liquid chromatography analysis of the methyl derivatives, and MALDI-TOF-MS and NMR measurements of the newly formed oligosaccharides. 1H, 13C NMR signals of each saccharide were assigned using 2D-NMR techniques, including COSY, HSQC, HSQC-TOCSY, HMBC, CH(2)-selected E-HSQC, and CH(2)-selected E-HSQC-TOCSY.  相似文献

1. Ethylmalonyl-CoA was found to be a substrate for methylmalonyl-CoA mutase from Propionibacterium shermanii, the product being mainly (2R)-methylsuccinyl-CoA along with some (2S)-diastereoisomer. 2. The relevant 1H-nuclear magnetic resonance signals of methylsuccinic acid and of its dimethyl ester were assigned to the diastereotopic methylene hydrogens using sterospecifically dideuterated specimens of known configuration. 3. [2(-2)H1]Ethylmalonyl-CoA was converted by methylmalonyl-CoA mutase in 2H2O mainly to (2R, 3S)-[3(-2)H1]methylsuccinyl-CoA. No dideuterated product was observed. 4. Starting from (1R)-[1(-2)H1]-ethathanol, (1S)-[1(-2)H1]ethanol and [2H6] ethanol the following deuterated specimens of ethylmalonic acid were synthesised and characterised: (3S)-[3(-2)H1], (3R)-[3(-2)H1] and [3(-2)H2, 4(-2)H3], respectively. 5. Conversion of (3S)-[3(-2)H1]-ethylmalonyl-CoA (70% 2H1 and 2% 2H2 species) on the mutase in water afforded mainly (2R)-[2(-2)H1]methylsuccinyl-CoA along with some (2S)-diastereoisomer. No deuterium loss was observed. 6. Methylmalonyl-CoA mutase converted (3R)-[3(-2)H1]ethylmalonyl-CoA (81% 2H1 and 2% 2H2 species) to the following methylsuccinyl-CoA species: 33% [3(-2)H1], the deuterium being in the threo position with respect to the methyl group; 21% [2(-2)H1]; 46% unlabelled. The ratio of the species with (2R) and (2S) configuration was about 60:40. 7. Reaction of [3(-2)H2, 4(-2)H3]ethylmalonyl-CoA (94.5% [2H5] species) with the mutase gave the following labelled methylsuccinyl-CoA species:53.4% [methyl-2H3, 2(-2)H1, 3(-2)H1], the 3-deuterium being in the threo position with respect to the methyl group; 37.6% [methyl-2H3, 2(-2)H1]; 5% [methyl(-2)H3, 2(-2)H1, 2(-2)H1, 3(-2)H1] the 3-deuterium being in erythro position with respect to the methyl group; 4% [methyl(-2)H3, 3(-2)H1]. The ratio of the species with (2R) and (2S) configuration was about 70:30. 8. Implications of these findings for the mechanism of the rearrangements catalysed by coenzyme B12 are discussed.  相似文献

In Jurkat T lymphocytes, hydrogen peroxide (H(2)O(2)) potentiates the phosphorylation level of extracellular signal-regulated kinase 1 and 2 (ERK1/2) caused by T cell receptor (TCR) stimulation with anti-CD3 and anti-CD28 or anti-CD3 alone. Submillimolar concentrations of H(2)O(2)-induced phosphorylation of ERK1/2 and MAP/ERK kinase 1 and 2 (MEK1/2) without antigenic stimulation. H(2)O(2) also induced the electrophoretic mobility shift of Lck from 56 to 60 kDa. The MEK inhibitor, PD98059 attenuated ERK1/2 and MEK1/2 phosphorylation, as well as the migration shift of Lck induced by H(2)O(2). The phospholipase C (PLC) inhibitor, U73122, and EGTA reduced the phosphorylation of both ERK1/2 and MEK1/2 induced by H(2)O(2). Interestingly, an increase of intracellular cAMP level with forskolin or 8-(4-chlorophenylthio)-cAMP augmented ERK1/2 phosphorylation by H(2)O(2), while inhibiting MEK1/2 phosphorylation by H(2)O(2). These results demonstrate an alternative pathway that results in augmentation of ERK1/2 phosphorylation without concomitant MEK1/2 phosphorylation in T cells.  相似文献

Two new cyclic peptides, named sajaponicin C (1) and sajaponicin D (2), were isolated from the whole plants of Sagina japonica (Caryophyllaceae). Their structures were determined as cyclo(Pro(2)-Leu(2)-Tyr-Leu(1)-Phe(1)-Pro(3)-Phe(2)-Pro(1)) (1) and cyclo(Pro(1)-Pro(2)-Pro(3)-Pro(4)-Phe(1)-Gly-Thr-Ser-Phe(2)-Ile-Tyr) (2) on the basis of spectroscopic data, especially by two-dimensional (2D) NMR techniques.  相似文献

We investigated the effect of transforming factor factor-beta(1) (TGF-beta(1)) on thromboxane B(2) (TXB(2)) and prostaglandin E(2) (PGE(2)) production in in vitro silica dust-exposed rat alveolar macrophages (AM). In the presence of 5 mug of anti-TGF-beta(1) antibodies, TXB(2) production decreased, but PGE(2) production increased. Addition of 2 ng of TGF-beta(1) to the culture medium potentiated TXB(2) production, but PGE(2) production apparently did not change. At 50 ng of TGF-beta(1), TXB(2) production decreased, and PGE(2) production varied. Our data suggest that in rat AM: (1) both endogenous and exogenous TGF-beta(1) regulate TXB(2) production; and (2) in the absence of endogenous TGF-beta(1) the liberation of PGE(2) increases; however, exogenous TGF-beta(1) does not have a regulatory effect on PGE(2).  相似文献

In our previous study, we indicated for the first time that C-28 hydroxylation plays a significant role in the metabolism of 1alpha, 25-dihydroxyvitamin D(2) [1alpha,25(OH)(2)D(2)] by identifying 1alpha,24(S),25,28-tetrahydroxyvitamin D(2) [1alpha,24(S),25, 28(OH)(4)D(2)] as a major renal metabolite of 1alpha,25(OH)(2)D(2) [G. S. Reddy and K-Y. Tserng Biochemistry 25, 5328-5336, 1986]. The present study was performed to establish the physiological significance of C-28 hydroxylation in the metabolism of 1alpha, 25(OH)(2)D(2). We perfused rat kidneys in vitro with 1alpha, 25(OH)(2)[26,27-(3)H]D(2) (5 x 10(-10)M) and demonstrated that 1alpha,24(R),25-trihydroxyvitamin D(2) [1alpha,24(R),25(OH)(3)D(2)] and 1alpha,24(S),25,28(OH)(4)D(2) are the only two major physiological metabolites of 1alpha,25(OH)(2)D(2). In the same perfusion experiments, we also noted that there is no conversion of 1alpha,25(OH)(2)D(2) into 1alpha,25,28-trihydroxyvitamin D(2 )[1alpha,25,28(OH)(3)D(2)]. Moreover, 1alpha,24(S),25,28(OH)(4)D(2) is not formed in the perfused rat kidney when synthetic 1alpha,25, 28(OH)(3)D(2) is used as the starting substrate. This finding indicates that C-28 hydroxylation of 1alpha,25(OH)(2)D(2) occurs only after 1alpha,25(OH)(2)D(2) is hydroxylated at C-24 position. At present the enzyme responsible for the C-28 hydroxylation of 1alpha, 24(R),25(OH)(3)D(2) in rat kidney is not known. Recently, it was found that 1alpha,25(OH)(2)D(3)-24-hydroxylase (CYP24) can hydroxylate carbons 23, 24, and 26 of various vitamin D(3) compounds. Thus, it may be speculated that CYP24 may also be responsible for the C-28 hydroxylation of 1alpha,24(R),25(OH)(3)D(2) to form 1alpha, 24(S),25,28(OH)(4)D(2). The biological activity of 1alpha,24(S),25, 28(OH)(4)D(2), determined by its ability to induce intestinal calcium transport and bone calcium resorption in the rat, was found to be almost negligible. Also, 1alpha,24(S),25,28(OH)(4)D(2) exhibited very low binding affinity toward bovine thymus vitamin D receptor. These studies firmly establish that C-28 hydroxylation is an important enzymatic reaction involved in the inactivation of 1alpha,25(OH)(2)D(2) in kidney under physiological conditions.  相似文献

Aspergillus parasiticus produces the minor aflatoxins M(1) (AFM(1)), M(2) (AFM(2)), GM(1) (AFGM(1)), and GM(2) (AFGM(2)), as well as the major aflatoxins B(1) (AFB(1)), B(2) (AFB(2)), G(1) (AFG(1)), and G(2) (AFG(2)). Feeding of A. parasiticus with aspertoxin (12c-hydroxyOMST) caused AFM(1) and AFGM(1), and cell-free experiments using the microsomal fraction of A. parasiticus and aspertoxin caused production of AFM(1), indicating that aspertoxin is a precursor of AFM(1) and AFGM(1). Feeding of the same fungus with O-methylsterigmatocystin (OMST) caused AFM(1) and AFGM(1) together with AFB(1) and AFG(1); feeding with dihydroOMST (DHOMST) caused AFM(2) and AFGM(2) together with AFB(2) and AFG(2). Incubation of either the microsomal fraction or OrdA enzyme-expressing yeast with OMST caused production of aspertoxin together with AFM(1) and AFB(1). These results demonstrated that the OrdA enzyme catalyzes both 12c-hydroxylation reaction from OMST to aspertoxin and the successive reaction from aspertoxin to AFM(1). In contrast, feeding of the fungus with AFB(1) did not produce any AFM(1), demonstrating that M-/GM-aflatoxins are not produced from B-/G-aflatoxins. Furthermore, AFM(1) together with AFB(1) and AFG(1) was also produced from 11-hydroxyOMST (HOMST) in feeding experiment of A. parasiticus, whereas no aflatoxins were produced when used the ordA deletion mutant. These results demonstrated that OrdA enzyme can also catalyze 12c-hydroxylation of HOMST to produce 11-hydroxyaspertoxin, which serves as a precursor for the production of AFM(1) and AFGM(1). The same pathway may work for the production of AFM(2) and AFGM(2) from DHOMST and dihydroHOMST through the formation of dihydroaspertoxin and dihydro-11-hydroxyaspertoxin, respectively.  相似文献

Two Ethiopian mustard ( Brassica carinata A. Braun) lines with low (about 10%) and zero erucic acid (C22:1) have been obtained. The low C22:1 mutant line L-2890 was isolated after a chemical-mutagen treatment of C-101 seeds (about 40% C22:1). The zero C22:1 line L-25X-1 was obtained by interspecific crossing. Our objective was to determine the genetic control of low and zero C22:1 contents in these lines and the relationship between the loci controlling these traits. Reciprocal crosses between L-2890, L-25X-1 and high C22:1 lines, and between L-2890 and L-25X-1, were made. The F(1), F(2) and BC(1) F(1) generations were obtained. No maternal or cytoplasmic effects for C22:1 content were observed in any of the crosses. The analysis of the fatty acid composition in the segregating populations from the crosses of L-2890 with the high C22:1 lines C-101 and L-1630 indicated that the segregation patterns fitted a model of two alleles at two loci, M1 and M2, with partial (near complete) dominance for high concentration. The segregation patterns in the cross of the zero C22:1 line L-25X-1 with the high C22:1 line L-1630, were explained on the basis of two genes, E1 and E2, with additive gene action. The F(1) and segregating generations of the crosses L-2890 x L-25X-1 showed a strong transgressive segregation with C22:1 values of up to 50.0%, four-fold higher than those of L-2890. The analyses of the F(2), BC(1)F(1) and F(3) generations indicated that the combination of alleles at four loci, M(1) and M(2) in L-2890 and E(1) and E(2) in L-25X-1, controlled the transgressive segregation for C22:1. The proposed genotypes (C22:1 content) for each parent were as follows: L-2890 (10% C22:1) = m(1) m(1) m(2) m(2) E(1) E(1) E(2) E(2); L-25X-1 (0% C22:1) = M(1) M(1) M(2) M(2) e(1) e(1) e(2) e(2); and C-101 (45% C22:1) = M(1) M(1) M(2) M(2) E(1) E(1) E(2) E(2).  相似文献

The corresponding N-acetyl derivatives of these compounds were similarly tested as candidate substrate analogues/inhibitors of the N-deacetylases present in both systems. Following on from an early study, 1-L-6-O-(2-amino-2-deoxy-alpha-D-glucopyranosyl)-2-O-methyl-myo-inositol 1-(1,2-di-O-hexadecanoyl-sn-glycerol 3-phosphate) (44) was prepared and tested as an inhibitor of the trypanosomal alpha-(1 --> 4)-D-mannosyltransferase. A brief summary of the biological evaluation of the various analogues is provided.  相似文献

We have explored the process of oligomerization of G protein-coupled purinergic receptors, adenosine A(1) receptor (A(1)R) and P2Y(1) receptor (P2Y(1)R), in intact HEK293T cells by means of modified bioluminescence resonance energy transfer technology (BRET(2)) that offers greatly improved separation of the emission spectra of the donor and acceptor moieties compared to traditional BRET. This approach identified both constitutive and agonist-promoted heteromeric oligomerization between Myc-tagged P2Y(1)R fused to a donor, Renilla luciferase (Myc-P2Y(1)R-Rluc) and HA-tagged A(1)R fused to an acceptor, a different form of green fluorescent protein (HA-A(1)R-GFP(2)). The BRET(2) signal increased in a time-dependent manner in the cells expressing HA-A(1)R-GFP(2)/Myc-P2Y(1)R-Rluc upon addition of agonists for both receptors, which could be inhibited by pretreatment with the P2Y(1)R antagonist MRS2179. A high degree of HA-A(1)R-GFP(2) and Myc-P2Y(1)R-Rluc co-localization in the co-transfected HEK293T cells was also observed by confocal laser microscopy. These results indicate that A(1)R and P2Y(1)R can form constitutive hetero-oligomers in living cells and this process is promoted by the simultaneous activation of both receptors.  相似文献

Torulaspora delbrueckii starin IFO 0955 was examined with respect to its structural and serological properties of the cell wall mannan (Td-0955-M). Td-0955-M revealed significant reactivities with sera from a commercially available factor serum kit (Candida Check) in ELISA. Td-0955-M was investigated for its chemical structure by acetolysis under conventional and mild conditions. NMR and GC techniques were used as analytical techniques. The mannooligosaccharide fractions eluted from a Bio-Gel P-2 column were found to consist of Man(alpha1-2)Man, M2, Man(alpha1-2)Man(alpha1-2)Man and Man(beta1-2)Man(alpha1-2)Man, M3, Man(alpha1-2)Man(beta1-2)Man(beta1-2)Man(alpha1-2)Man, M5, and a new mannoheptaose, which possesses the structure, Man(alpha1-2)Man(beta1-2)Man(beta1-2)Man(beta1-2)Man(beta1-2)Man(alpha1-2)Man, M7. The results of the inhibition ELISA showed that the M7 oligosaccharide significantly inhibited the reactivities in the Td-0955-M-factor serum systems.  相似文献

H(2)O(2) production was evaluated in liver microsomes prepared from Cyp1a1/1a2(+/+) wild-type and Cyp1a1(-/-) and Cyp1a2(-/-) knockout mice pretreated with 5 microg dioxin (TCDD)/kg body wt or vehicle alone. NADPH-dependent H(2)O(2) production in TCDD-induced microsomes from wild-type mice was about one-third of that in noninduced microsomes. In Cyp1a2(-/-) mice, H(2)O(2) production was the same for induced and noninduced microsomes, with levels significantly higher than those in wild-type mice. Cyp1a1(-/-) microsomes displayed markedly lower levels of H(2)O(2) production in both induced and noninduced microsomes, compared with those in wild-type and Cyp1a2(-/-) microsomes. The CYP1A2 inhibitor furafylline in vitro exacerbated microsomal H(2)O(2) production proportional to the degree of CYP1A2 inhibition, and the CYP2E1 inhibitor diethyldithiocarbamate decreased H(2)O(2) production proportional to the degree of CYP2E1 inhibition. Microsomal H(2)O(2) production was strongly correlated to NADPH-stimulated production of thiobarbituric acid-reactive substances, as well as to decreases in microsomal membrane polarization anisotropy, indicative of peroxidation of unsaturated membrane lipids. Our results suggest that possibly acting as an "electron sink," CYP1A2 might decrease CYP2E1-and CYP1A1-mediated H(2)O(2) production and oxidative stress. In this regard, CYP1A2 may be considered an antioxidant enzyme.  相似文献

The peptide N-Boc-L-Pro-dehydro-Phe-L-Gly-OH was synthesized by the usual workup procedure and finally coupling the N-Boc-L-Pro-dehydro-Phe to glycine. The peptide crystallizes in monoclinic space group P2(1) with a = 8.951(4) A, b = 5.677(6) A, c = 21.192(11) A, beta = 96.97(4) degrees, V = 1069(1) A3, Z = 2, dm = 1.295(5) Mgm-3, and dc = 1.297(4) Mgm-3. The structure was determined by direct methods using SHELXS86. The structure was refined by the block-diagonal least-squares procedure to an R value of 0.074 for 1002 observed reflections. The C alpha 2-C beta 2 distance of 1.33(2) A is an appropriate double bond length. The angle C alpha 2-C beta 2-C gamma 2 is 133(1) degrees. The peptide backbone torsion angles are theta 1 = -167(1) degrees, omega 0 = 179(1) degrees, phi 1 = -48(1) degrees, psi 1 = 137(1) degrees, omega 1 = 175(1) degrees, phi 2 = 65(2) degrees, psi 2 = 15(2) degrees, omega 2 = -179(1) degrees, and phi 3 = -166(1) degrees. These values show that the Boc group has a trans-trans conformation while the peptide backbone adopts a beta-turn II conformation, which is stabilized by an intramolecular hydrogen bond of length of 3.05(1) A. The structures of dehydro-Phe containing peptides suggest that the dehydro-Phe promotes the beta-turn II conformation. The five-membered pyrrolidine ring of the Pro residue adopts an ideal C gamma-exo conformation with torsion angles chi 1(1) = -24(1) degrees, chi 2(1) = 34(1) degrees, chi 3(1) = -30(1) degrees, chi 4(1) = 15(1) degrees, and theta 0(1) = 6(1) degrees. The side-chain torsion angles in dehydro-Phe are chi 1(2) = -1(2) degrees, chi 2,1(2) = -176(1) degrees, and chi 2,2(2) = 8(2) degrees. The plane of C alpha 2-C beta 2-C gamma 2 is rotated with respect to the plane of the phenyl ring at 7(1) degrees, which indicates that the atoms of the side chain of dehydro-Phe are essentially coplanar. The molecules form a 2(1) screw axis related hydrogen-bonded rows along the b axis.  相似文献

Two orthorhombic crystal forms (P2(1)2(1)2, a = 30.5 A, b = 44.5 A, c = 40.5 A; I2(1)2(1)2(1) (or I222), a = 30.1 A, b = 66.5 A, c = 35.5 A) of human neutrophil cationic peptide 1 have been characterized. The P2(1)2(1)2 form contains two peptides (Mr = 3425) per asymmetric unit; the I2(1)2(1)2(1) form contains one peptide per asymmetric unit. Both crystal forms diffract to beyond 1.8 A resolution.  相似文献
