不同食料植物对美国白蛾生长发育和繁殖的影响   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1  
2010年6月至7月,在室内研究了美国白蛾Hyphantria cunea(Drury)第1代幼虫对洋白蜡、欧美107号杨、法桐和白榆的取食量及不同的食料种类对美国白蛾生长发育和繁殖的影响。结果表明,美国白蛾对受试的各树种的取食量以洋白蜡为最多,完成一代平均每头可以取食2.21 g,其次为欧美107号杨1.95 g,再次为法桐和白榆,分别为1.85 g/头和1.68 g/头。3龄后幼虫对不同的寄主呈现出一定的偏好性,特别是5龄和6龄幼虫对不同的寄主的取食量表现出显著差异。不同的食料植物对美国白蛾幼虫和蛹的发育历期、存活率、蛹重、成虫寿命、产卵量等有显著影响。取食法桐对其生长发育和繁殖表现出明显的不利性,主要表现为幼虫期延长、蛹重减轻、单雌产卵量降低。  相似文献

研究了油菜、甜菜、白菜和莴苣 4种食料植物对八字地老虎Agrotisc nigrumLinnaeus幼虫发育历期、蛹期、蛹重、成虫寿命和产卵量的影响。幼虫取食油菜时发育历期最短 (1 5 4d) ,蛹最重 (2 0 3 5mg) ,产卵量最多 (3 89 5粒 ) ,甜菜次之。幼虫取食莴苣时发育历期最长 ,蛹最轻 (1 3 6 1mg) ,产卵量最少(1 44 7粒 )。 4种食料植物对寄主的蛹期和成虫的寿命没有显著的影响  相似文献

The effect of diets prepared from whorl tissue of resistant and susceptible corn genotypes, Zea mays L., on the larval growth, development, and physiology of fall armyworm, Spodoptera frugiperda (J. E. Smith), was analyzed. Larvae reared on an optimized artificial diet had a higher growth rate and developed faster than those reared on lyophilized whorl tissue from resistant and susceptible genotypes. Larvae reared on the resistant material were smaller and had a longer developmental period. Larvae reared on yellow-green and green whorl sections from resistant plants were significantly smaller than those reared on the same sections of susceptible plants. There was no significant difference in weight when larvae were reared on the yellow whorl regions from either resistant or susceptible lines. Physiological indices were determined for larvae fed resistant and susceptible lyophilized and fresh whorl material. Larvae fed resistant lyophilized material had significantly lower growth rate (GW) and efficiency of conversion of ingested food to body substance (ECI) than those reared on artificial diet or susceptible material. However, there were no significant differences in consumption index (CI), approximate digestibility (AD) and efficiency of conversion of digested food to body substance (ECD) between larvae reared on lyophilized tissue from resistant and susceptible genotypes. Larvae reared on fresh yellow-green whorl sections from resistant plants had significantly lower GW, ECI, and ECD than those reared on susceptible material. In contrast, no significant differences in any of the estimated food consumption and utilization indices were observed between larvae reared on fresh yellow whorl sections from resistant or susceptible plants. These results suggest that some components of whorls from resistant plants, especially the yellow-green region, inhibit food utilization in fall armyworm larvae.  相似文献

Larvae of the leaf beetle Chrysomela lapponica obtain salicyl glucosides (SGs) from the host plant to produce a defensive secretion with salicylaldehyde. In northern Russia, larvae and pupae experience high parasitism by the phorid fly Megaselia opacicornis and tachinid fly Cleonice nitidiuscula. We compared the suitability of the SG-rich Salix borealis and SG-poor S. caprea and S. phylicifolia to Ch. lapponica and tested whether enemy pressure on Ch. lapponica varies among host species that differ in SG content. In the laboratory, survival of Ch. lapponica larvae was higher on S. borealis than on S. caprea and S. phylicifolia, while adult body mass was higher on S. borealis and S. caprea than on S. phylicifolia. In the field, parasitism by both M. opacicornis and Cl. nitidiuscula was greater on beetles from S. borealis than from the SG-poor S. caprea or S. phylicifolia. In a laboratory choice test, the pupal parasitoid M. opacicornis laid similar numbers of eggs on beetles reared on SG-rich and SG-poor willows, suggesting that the host plant-derived defence is not effective against this parasitoid. In a field enemy-exclusion experiment, beetle survival was greatly enhanced by the exclusion of enemies, but survival rates did not differ between S. borealis and S. caprea, although larvae developed faster on S. borealis. On the other hand, parasitism and predation were observed more often on S. borealis than on S. caprea. Thus, beetle larvae perform better but also suffer higher predation and parasitism on S. borealis than on SG-poor willows. Ch. lapponica does not appear to obtain enemy-free space by feeding on SG-rich willow species.  相似文献

选择4种可规模化饲养的昆虫——米蛾Corcyra cephalonica、家蝇Musca domestica、斜纹夜蛾Spodoptera litura、甜菜夜蛾Spodoptera exigu幼虫来饲养穴蚁蛉Myrmeleon sagax(Walker)幼虫(俗称蚁狮),研究这4种饵料对蚁狮生长发育及消化利用的影响。结果显示,用家蝇幼虫饲养的蚁狮,其体重增长、相对生长率、化蛹率、蛹重均显著高于用斜纹夜蛾和甜菜夜蛾幼虫饲养的蚁狮,而幼虫历期则比斜纹夜蛾和甜菜夜蛾幼虫饲养的短;用米蛾幼虫饲养,虽然蚁狮体重增长、化蛹率和蛹重与用家蝇幼虫饲养的差异不显著,但其相对生长率却显著低于用家蝇幼虫饲养的蚁狮,幼虫历期也比用家蝇幼虫饲养的明显延长。同时食物消化利用的结果显示,用4种饵料饲养蚁狮,它们的近似消化率差异不显著,但食物利用率和食物转化率均以家蝇幼虫饲养的蚁狮最高。经分析比较,在4种饵料昆虫中,以用家蝇幼虫每4d喂蚁狮1次的饲养效果最佳。  相似文献

在温度(29±1)℃和相对湿度75%±5%条件下,研究了2种改进人工饲料和天然饲料椰子幼果对红脉穗螟Tirathaba rufivena Walker生长发育、繁殖力和营养的影响。结果表明:与天然饲料相比,用改进人工饲料饲养的红脉穗螟幼虫生长发育速度、幼虫存活率、蛹重及产卵量均提高;幼虫相对生长率(RGR)、食物利用率(ECI)及食物转化率(ECD)均显著提高,而相对取食量(RCR)则显著降低。表明红脉穗螟幼虫对2种人工饲料有很好的适应性,可用于大量饲养。  相似文献

Larvae of Colorado potato beetle (CPB), Leptinotarsa decemlineata, and beet armyworm (BAW), Spodoptera exigua, reared on potato plants in which wound-induced accumulation of proteinase inhibitors (PIs) was largely reduced through antisense-mediated depletion of a specific lipoxygenase (LOX H3) had significantly larger weight gains than those fed on non-transformed plants. The midgut endoproteolytic activities of CPB larvae fed on non-transformed potato were significantly higher than those from larvae fed on LOX-H3-deficient plants. However, none of these proteolytic activities was inhibited by potato leaf extracts, regardless of the plant that they were fed on. Taken together, these data suggest that CPB, a leaf-feeding specialist of solanaceous plants, is largely adapted to the inducible PIs of potato, though the metabolic cost associated with the hyperproduction of digestive proteases may account for the 14-31% lower weight gain of larvae fed on non-transformed plants. The effect of LOX-H3 depletion on insect performance was more evident with larvae of the polyphagous BAW (52-63% higher weight gain and 73% higher fecundity when reared on LOX-H3-deficient plants). The poorer larval performance of BAW on non-transformed plants may be due to the susceptibility to inhibition by potato leaf tissues of most BAW digestive proteases. Indeed, BAW larvae fed on non-transformed potato showed a significant reduction in most endoproteolytic activities compared to larvae fed on LOX-H3-deficient plants, suggesting a that these insects deal poorly with induced plant defences in potato.  相似文献

The zoophytophagous feeding habits of larvae and adults of the rove beetle, Philonthus quisquiliarius (Gyllenhal) (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae), are reported for the first time. This study evaluates the effects of different feeding regimes on its growth and reproductive performance (i.e., larval growth, adult weight gain, consumption, fecundity and fertility) and digestive physiology. Larvae presented similar growth rates when fed on living animal or on green plant material for 48h. However, higher consumption rates and lower efficiencies of conversion of digested matter to body mass were obtained when leaves were consumed. Adults presented also positive weight gains regardless of the food consumed (plant or animal material). Interestingly, the highest weight gain rate and efficiency of digestion resulted when adults fed on a rearing diet containing nutrients from both animals and plants. Moreover, we have found negative effects upon P. quisquiliarius fecundity and fertility when supplemental plant nutrients were removed from the optimum rearing diet. Physiological adaptations to allow trophic switching between predation and phytophagy have been found, such as the higher ratio of α-amylase activity to protease activity to deal with the inverted protein-carbohydrate ratio of plant versus animal tissues. Furthermore, this species has an arsenal of digestive proteases whose activity is affected by the type of diet ingested. All together, our results suggest that P. quisquiliarius needs certain nutrients, which are obtained only from plant material. This knowledge will help to understand the complex trophic interactions that occur in agroecosystems.  相似文献

【目的】探讨饲喂不同寄主植物对栎黄枯叶蛾Trabala vishnou gigantina Yang生长发育及繁殖的影响,分析寄主植物内含物与其生长发育及繁殖的关系,为研究不同寄主植物对栎黄枯叶蛾种群动态的影响提供理论依据。【方法】在室内条件下,利用沙棘Hippophae rhamnoides、山杏Armeniaca sibirica、山杨Populus davidiana、旱柳Salix matsudana饲养该虫,观察幼虫发育历期、蛹历期、蛹重及产卵量等指标,同时测定寄主叶片中可溶性糖、可溶性蛋白质、水分、单宁及黄酮的含量,并进行线性回归分析。【结果】不同寄主植物饲喂栎黄枯叶蛾幼虫的发育历期、蛹历期、蛹重及产卵量均存在显著差异。取食沙棘的幼虫历期最短,仅为(74.50?1.76)d,而取食旱柳历期最长,达(106.00?1.51)d。取食山杨的蛹历期最长,为(44.00?1.41)d,最短的是取食旱柳的,仅为(32.70?3.13)d。饲喂沙棘和山杏的雌、雄蛹重和成虫产卵量显著高于饲喂山杨和旱柳的。对不同寄主的营养物质、次生物质和水分含量测定结果表明:不同寄主间营养物质、次生物质与水分的含量差异显著。回归相关分析表明:幼虫发育历期与寄主植物可溶性蛋白质含量呈显著负相关;雌蛹重和产卵量与寄主植物可溶性糖含量呈显著负相关;雌、雄蛹重与寄主植物含水量呈显著正相关;蛹历期与单宁含量呈显著正相关,但黄酮含量的高低与栎黄枯叶蛾生长发育等指标无相关性。【结论】沙棘是栎黄枯叶蛾生长发育及繁殖的最适寄主植物;并且寄主植物中可溶性糖、单宁的含量低、含水量和可溶性蛋白质含量高有利于栎黄枯叶蛾的生长发育和繁殖。  相似文献

Growth, survival, fecundity, and nutrition of Tirathaba rufivena (Walker) fed on two artificial and one natural diet were studied at 29±1°C and 75±5% relative humidity. Larvae reared on the two artificial diets showed faster growth and development, higher pupal survival and weight, and higher adult fecundity than those reared on a natural diet of young coconuts, Cocos nucifera L. The relative growth rate, efficiency of ingested food conversion, and efficiency of digested food conversion in larvae fed on artificial diets were significantly higher than those of larvae fed on young coconuts. The relative consumption rate of larvae fed on artificial diets was significantly lower than that of larvae fed on young coconuts. T. rufivena showed no significant degradation in ability to propagate after being reared on the artificial diet for five successive generations. These results indicated that two artificial diets are suitable for mass rearing of T. rufivena.  相似文献

Tenebrio molitor larvae were successfully reared free of cultivatable gut lumen bacteria, yeasts and fungi using two approaches; aseptic rearing from surface sterilized eggs and by feeding larvae with antibiotic-containing food. Insects were reared on a rich-nutrient complete diet or a nutrient-poor refractory diet. A comparison of digestive enzyme activities in germ free and conventional insects containing a gut microbiota did not reveal gross differences in enzymes that degrade cell walls from bacteria (lysozyme), fungi (chitinase and laminarinase) and plants (cellulase and licheninase). This suggested that microbial-derived enzymes are not an essential component of the digestive process in this insect. However, more detailed analysis of T. molitor midgut proteins using an electrophoretic separation approach showed that some digestive enzymes were absent and others were newly expressed in microbiota-free larvae. Larvae reared in antibiotic-containing refractory wheat bran diet performed poorly in comparison with controls. The addition of saligenin, the aglycone of the plant glucoside salicin, has more deleterious effects on microbiota-free larvae than on the conventionally reared larvae, suggesting a detoxifying role of midgut microbiota. Analysis of the volatile organic compounds released from the faecal pellets of the larvae shows key differences in the profiles from conventionally reared and aseptically reared larvae. Pentadecene is a semiochemical commonly found in other beetle species. Here we demonstrate the absence of pentadecene from aseptically reared larvae in contrast to its presence in conventionally reared larvae. The results are discussed in the light of the hypothesis that microbial products play subtle roles in the life of the insect, they are involved in the digestion of refractory food, detoxification of secondary plant compounds and modify the volatile profiles of the insect host.  相似文献

  • 2 The relationships between the three host plants and the feeding behaviour, larval movement and performance of cabbage looper larvae that might relate to their interaction with AcMNPV applications were investigated.
  • 3 Larvae reared on cucumber plants consumed approximately ten‐fold more leaf area than larvae reared on pepper plants and almost five‐fold more than larvae reared on tomato plants. This could influence the amount of AcMNPV consumed if it were used as a microbial spray because increased consumption can be associated with increased probability of infection. Survival from neonate to pupa also varied, with the greatest being on cucumber, followed by tomato and pepper plants. Larvae fed cucumber were approximately four‐fold heavier than larvae fed tomato and over 15‐fold heavier than larvae fed pepper plants.
  • 4 The distribution of larvae on plants in commercial greenhouses where a single crop was being grown also varied with food plant with 73% being found on the bottom and middle portions of tomato plants and 87% occurring in the top portions of pepper plants. Larvae tended to be distributed on the middle portion of cucumber plants, the lower portion of tomato plants and the top portion of pepper plants. Larval movement did not vary between AcMNPV‐infected and uninfected controls.
  • 5 It is predicted that the higher leaf area consumption and location of larvae in the middle portion of cucumber plants may make them more susceptible to viral sprays. Furthermore, given their greater survival than larvae fed tomato and pepper, there may be a greater need for virus applications.

报道了棉花、烟草、番茄和辣椒4种植物对棉铃虫Helicoverpa armigera生长发育和繁殖的影响。棉铃虫成虫喜欢在番茄上产卵,在辣椒上的着卵量最少。初孵幼虫喜选食嫩棉叶,选食辣椒嫩叶的虫数最少。4组幼虫取食嫩叶时的平均相对生长速率都有显著差异,顺序为棉叶组>烟叶组>番茄叶组>辣椒叶组。幼虫存活率以取食棉花时最高,取食番茄时最低。棉花组成虫的产卵量最高,烟草组的产卵量最低。取食棉花的棉铃虫种群增长的速度约为取食番茄时的14倍。6龄幼虫能有效利用和转化棉铃、烟草蒴果、辣椒果实,而对番茄果实的利用和转化效率较低。棉铃虫可分别以这4种植物的不同器官为食完成世代循环。其中,棉花是最适宜的寄主,辣椒和番茄是较不适宜的寄主。  相似文献

The lappet moth, Streblote panda Hübner [1820] (Lasiocampidae), is a common species found in blueberry, Vaccinium spp. (Ericaceae) fields of Western Andalusia. The biology of this species as well as the extent to which its larvae can use and survive on blueberry is unknown. In this study, the suitability to larvae of several blueberry cultivars was studied. Larvae were grown under controlled laboratory conditions on excised foliage of six blueberry cultivars. Survival, development, and food use were determined for first and fifth instars. According to our results, blueberry has become an alternative host plant for S. panda in southwestern Andalusia. Low growth rates and efficiencies of use of food were observed. Lower gross efficiency of growth was found for larvae fed blueberry 'Sharpblue', despite a higher apparent digestibility of this cultivar. Larvae reared on this cultivar had the highest mortality, increased developmental time, and used a greater part of metabolism for maintenance. Herbivore pressure may be increased with the widespread planting of the most suitable cultivars 'Misty' and 'O'Neal', whereas 'Sharpblue' and'Climax' seem to be the least suitable host plants. These data provide useful information for planning and managing blueberry orchards in the presence of S. panda populations.  相似文献

Temperature and food quality can both influence growth rates, consumption rates, utilization efficiencies and developmental time of herbivorous insects. Gravimetric analyses were conducted during two consecutive years to assess the effects of temperature and food quality on fourth instar larvae of the forest tent caterpillar Malacosoma disstria Hübner. Larvae were reared in the laboratory at three different temperatures (18, 24 and 30 degrees C) and on two types of diet; leaves of sugar maple trees Acer saccharum Marsh. located at the forest edge (sun-exposed leaves) or within the forest interior (shade-exposed leaves). In general, larvae reared at 18 degrees C had lower growth rates and lower consumption rates than larvae reared at the warmer temperatures (24 and 30 degrees C). Moreover, the duration of the instar decreased significantly with increasing temperatures. Type of diet also affected the growth rates and amount of food ingested by larvae but did not affect the duration of the instar. Larvae fed sun-exposed leaves consumed more food and gained higher biomasses. Values of approximate digestibility and efficiency of conversion of ingested food were also higher when larvae were fed sun-exposed leaves. Higher growth rates with increasing temperatures were primarily the result of the shorter stadium duration. The higher growth rates of larvae fed sun-exposed leaves were possibly the result of stimulatory feeding and consequently greater food intake and also a more efficient use of food ingested. This study suggests that the performance of M. disstria caterpillars could be enhanced by warmer temperatures and higher leaf quality.  相似文献

The host range of Manduca sexta L. (Lepidoptera: Sphingidae) is restricted in nature to plants in the family Solanaceae. However, naive hatchling larvae often accept and continue their development on foliage from a wide spectrum of unrelated plants. In contrast, solanaceous-experienced larvae refuse to feed on other plants. Experiments were designed to explore the role of constituents of various plants in this behavioral phenomenon. Fourth instar larvae reared on solanaceous hosts: tomato (Lycopersicon esculentum Mill.), potato (Solanum tuberosum L.), or tobacco (Nicotiana tabacum L.), and the leguminous non-host cowpea (Vigna sinensis Savi), or on artificial diet based on wheat germ were tested for their acceptance or preference when offered a new diet in both choice and no-choice situations. Under no-choice conditions, acceptability of cowpea foliage was strongly affected by the larval dietary experience. Most larvae reared on solanaceous foliage did not feed, whereas those larvae reared on non-solanaceous food readily accepted cowpea. Moreover, solanaceous foliage, leaf discs and extracts were readily accepted by larvae regardless of their dietary experience. Larvae reared on any of the solanaceous plants strongly preferred cowpea discs that were treated with solanaceous extract, while larvae reared on non-solanaceous diets did not discriminate between treated and control discs. Assays of cowpea extracts as well as acceptance of cowpea discs treated with solanaceous extract indicated a lack of detectable deterrent in cowpea. Our results suggest that the mechanism for induced host specificity in M. sexta larvae involves development of a dependence on solanaceous chemical constituents. We argue that this dependence on host plant chemistry has adaptive significance.  相似文献

When newly hatched larvae of P. rapae were transferred to cowpea foliage, they readily accepted this non-host as food, whereas later instars that had fed on cabbage rejected cowpea. However, when cowpea leaf discs were treated with aqueous extracts of cabbage foliage, they were accepted by cabbage-reared larvae. Experiments were conducted to determine whether larvae reared on one host plant would be stimulated to feed by extracts of other hosts. Larvae reared on Brassica juncea, Cleome spinosa, Tropaeolum majus, Sinapis alba, Alliaria petiolata, Barbarea vulgaris and cabbage (Brassica oleracea) were offered extracts of each of the other host plants on cowpea discs in choice assays. Larvae were generally stimulated to feed by extracts of all the alternate hosts, but quantitative differences in consumption occurred. In most cases, levels of discrimination between treatment and control cowpea discs showed no significant preference for extracts of the previously experienced plant. Since the test plants (and their extracts) contain glucosinolates of widely different structures, a general addiction to glucosinolates was suggested. A single glucosinolate, sinigrin, was sufficient to elicit feeding by cabbage-reared larvae. The time required for individual neonates to become addicted to glucosinolates as they fed on cabbage, as measured by refusal of cowpea, varied from 6 to 30 hours. Bioassays of cowpea extracts failed to show any deterrent activity and, therefore, supported the conclusion that addiction to glucosinolates is responsible for the fixation of P. rapae larvae on their host plants.  相似文献

Gypsy moth (Lymantria dispar (L.) (Lepidoptera: Lymantriidae)) larvae were reared from hatch on 1.25% N or 3.5% N artificial diet (previous diet) and switched reciprocally to the other diet (current diet) after molting into the second, third, fourth, or fifth instar. The nitrogen concentration of food consumed during previous instars had a strong residual effect on the growth rate in subsequent instars when a diet switch was made during instars two through four, but did not affect growth rate of fifth-instar larvae despite effects on food consumption and utilization. In early instars, larvae reared on 1.25% N artificial diet and then switched to 3.75% N diet had lower mass-adjusted growth rates than larvae continuously reared on 3.75% N diet. Conversely, larvae reared on 3.75% N diet and switched to 1.25% N had higher mass-adjusted growth rates than larvae reared continuously on 1.25% N diet. Relative to larvae previously reared on 1.25% N diet, fifth-instar male larvae previously reared on 3.75% N diet had slightly lower consumption rates, higher net growth efficiency (ECD), and higher gross growth efficiency (ECI). Larvae previously reared on 3.75% N diet tended to have lower food assimilation efficiency (AD) and lower nitrogen assimilation efficiency (AD(N)). Although both previous and current diet nitrogen concentration strongly affected larval growth and food utilization, the interaction term between these was not significant for any response variables except ECD and ECI. Because the interaction term reflects the effect of switching per se, the results indicate that there was a metabolic cost associated with switching, but no inherent net cost or benefit of diet-switching to growth.  相似文献

The toxicity of avermectin B, (abamectin) and cypermethrin was determined against fourth instar larvae of Plutella xylostella L. reared on three cabbage cultivars which differed in their suitability as host plants. Cabbage cultivars were assessed as hosts for P. xylostella on the basis of larval and pupal weight and adult fecundity. Larvae reared on the best host, the cabbage cv. Offenham Flower of Spring were significantly (P > 0.01) less sensitive to topically-applied abamectin (4.7-fold at LD50) or cypermethrin (2.3-fold) when compared with larvae reared on the intermediate host, the Savoy cabbage cv. Aquarius F1. Larvae reared on Offenham Flower of Spring were also significantly (P > 0.01) less sensitive (4.5-fold) to topically-applied abamectin compared with larvae reared on the poorest host tested, the cabbage cv. Minicole Fl. In contrast, the residual/ingestion toxicity of abamectin against fourth instars was significantly (P > 0.01) greater (2.5-fold at LC50) on Offenham Flower of Spring than on Minicole F1. The results are discussed in terms of larval weight and larval feeding rates on the different cabbage cultivars.  相似文献

Nitrogen (N) is one of the most critical chemical elements for plant and animal growth, exerting a variety of bottom‐up effects. Development and oviposition of the beet armyworm, Spodoptera exigua (Hübner) (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae), were studied in relation to varying N fertilization levels (42, 112, 196, and 280 p.p.m.) in cotton [Gossypium hirsutum L. (Malvaceae)]. Low N fertilization of cotton plants led to reduced plant biomass and a lower percentage of N in leaf blades and in leaf petioles. Development of S. exigua larvae fed with plants with reduced N applications (42 and 112 p.p.m.) was prolonged relative to treatments receiving higher N fertilization. Almost all larvae reared on artificial diets underwent only five instars before pupation. However, most larvae reared on cotton plants, irrespective of N levels, experienced a supernumerary sixth larval instar. Furthermore, significantly more larvae reared on lower N cotton plants underwent supernumerary development compared to larvae reared on higher N cotton plants. Life‐time feeding damage per larva ranged from 55 to 65 cm2, depending on the nutritional quality of the food plant, although the differences were not statistically significant. Larvae distinguished between cotton plants with various nutritional qualities and fed preferentially on higher N plants. Female moth oviposition choice was also affected by host plant nutritional quality: cotton plants with higher N levels were preferentially chosen by S. exigua females for oviposition. The mechanisms of these effects are unclear, but they can have important implications for population dynamics and pest status of beet armyworms in the field.  相似文献
