Shellfish have been identified as a potential source of Cryptosporidium infection for humans. The inactivation of Cryptosporidium parvum and other pathogens in raw molluscan shellfish would provide increased food safety for normal and at-risk consumers. The present study identified the efficacy of a non-thermal alternative food-processing treatment, high hydrostatic pressure processing (HPP), on the viability of C. parvum oocysts in the Eastern oysters Crassostrea virginica. Oysters were artificially exposed to 2 x 10(7) oocysts of the Beltsville strain of C. parvum in seawater and subjected to HPP treatments. The effects of the treatments were evaluated by inoculation of the processed oyster tissues into neonatal mice. High-pressure processing of shucked Eastern oysters at all pressures tested (305, 370, 400, 480, and 550 MPa) was significantly effective (P<0.05) in reducing the numbers of positive mouse pups fed treated oyster tissues exposed to C. parvum oocysts. A dose of 550 MPa at 180 s (s) of holding time produced the maximum decrease in numbers of C. parvum positive mouse pups (93.3%). Measurement of tristimulus color values of HPP-treated raw oysters at extended processing times from 120 s to 360 s at 550 MPa showed a small increase in whiteness of oyster meat. This non-thermal processing treatment shows promise for commercial applications to improve safety of seafood and reduce public health risks from cryptosporidiosis.  相似文献

AIMS: The aim of this research was to examine the effect of thermal treatments on the viability and infectivity of Cryptosporidium parvum oocysts attached to a beef surface. METHODS AND RESULTS: This study examined the effects of heat treatment (60 or 75 degrees C) on the viability of C. parvum oocysts inoculated onto the surface of beef muscle estimated by vital dye assay. The infectivity of the oocysts was assessed against monolayers of HCT-8 cells. At 60 degrees C viability of the oocysts decreased from 100% at T0 to 64.2% at T60. At 75 degrees C the viability of the oocysts decreased from 100% at T0 to 53.7% at T15 and finally to 11.2% at T60. Oocysts were rendered noninfective against monolayers of HCT-8 cells following treatments of 60 degrees C/45 s and 75 degrees C/20 s. CONCLUSION: The washing of carcasses with hot water and standard thermal treatments is sufficient to kill C. parvum on beef. SIGNIFICANCE AND IMPACT OF THE STUDY: This study found that relatively mild heat, currently used to decontaminate and heat treat beef carcasses and to cook meat products, is capable of inactivating C. parvum.  相似文献

To evaluate the effectiveness of UV irradiation in inactivating Cryptosporidium parvum oocysts, the animal infectivities and excystation abilities of oocysts that had been exposed to various UV doses were determined. Infectivity decreased exponentially as the UV dose increased, and the required dose for a 2-log(10) reduction in infectivity (99% inactivation) was approximately 1.0 mWs/cm(2) at 20 degrees C. However, C. parvum oocysts exhibited high resistance to UV irradiation, requiring an extremely high dose of 230 mWs/cm(2) for a 2-log(10) reduction in excystation, which was used to assess viability. Moreover, the excystation ability exhibited only slight decreases at UV doses below 100 mWs/cm(2). Thus, UV treatment resulted in oocysts that were able to excyst but not infect. The effects of temperature and UV intensity on the UV dose requirement were also studied. The results showed that for every 10 degrees C reduction in water temperature, the increase in the UV irradiation dose required for a 2-log(10) reduction in infectivity was only 7%, and for every 10-fold increase in intensity, the dose increase was only 8%. In addition, the potential of oocysts to recover infectivity and to repair UV-induced injury (pyrimidine dimers) in DNA by photoreactivation and dark repair was investigated. There was no recovery in infectivity following treatment by fluorescent-light irradiation or storage in darkness. In contrast, UV-induced pyrimidine dimers in the DNA were apparently repaired by both photoreactivation and dark repair, as determined by endonuclease-sensitive site assay. However, the recovery rate was different in each process. Given these results, the effects of UV irradiation on C. parvum oocysts as determined by animal infectivity can conclusively be considered irreversible.  相似文献

Cryptosporidium parvum is known as one of the most highly resistant parasites to gamma irradiation. To morphologically have an insight on the radioresistance of this parasite, ultrastructural changes in C. parvum sporozoites were observed after gamma irradiation using various doses (1, 5, 10, and 25 kGy) following a range of post-irradiation incubation times (10 kGy for 6, 12, 24, 48, 72, and 96 hr). The ultrastructures of C. parvum oocysts changed remarkably after a 10-kGy irradiation. Nuclear membrane changes and degranulation of dense granules were observed with high doses over 10 kGy, and morphological changes in micronemes and rhoptries were observed with very high doses over 25 kGy. Oocyst walls were not affected by irradiation, whereas the internal structures of sporozoites degenerated completely 96 hr post-irradiation using a dose of 10 kGy. From this study, morphological evidence of radioresistance of C. parvum has been supplemented.  相似文献

Cryptosporidium parvum can survive exposure to harsh environmental conditions, various disinfectants, and high doses of γ-irradiation. In an animal study, more than 25kGy of γ-irradiation was necessary to eliminate C. parvum infectivity from mice. In contrast, Cryptosporidium muris (murine Cryptosporidium), which lives in stomach epithelium, lost its infectivity in mice with 1kGy of γ-irradiation. Recently, it was found that thioredoxin peroxidase was highly expressed in C. parvum oocysts irradiated with high doses of γ-irradiation. Therefore we hypothesize that antioxidant activity of the thioredoxin peroxidase is involved in the radioresistance of C. parvum. To verify this, thioredoxin peroxidases of C. parvum (CpTPx) and C. muris (CmTPx) were expressed in Escherichia coli cells, and their antioxidant activities were compared. Both CpTPx and CmTPx belong to the 2-Cys family of peroxiredoxins. Hydrogen peroxide consumption was approximately 2- to 12-fold greater in recombinant CpTPx (rCpTPx) than in recombinant CmTPx (rCmTPx) in the presence of 0.2mM dithioerythritol or glutathione (GSH), respectively. The peroxidase activity of rCpTPx was highly enhanced by GSH, but that of rCmTPx was not. The minimum dose of rCpTPx required to protect supercoiled plasmid DNA from damage by metal-catalyzed oxidation was only 12% of that required with rCmTPx. The results showed that rCpTPx has more powerful antioxidant activity than rCmTPx. Further investigations on the role of CpTPx in the radioresistance of C. parvum are warranted.  相似文献

Mass mortality is often observed in cultured oysters during the period following spawning in the summer season. To examine the underlying causes leading to this phenomenon, thermotolerance of the Pacific oyster Crassostrea gigas was assessed using pre- and postspawning oysters that were sequentially treated with sublethal (37 degrees C) and lethal heat shocks (44 degrees C). The effects were examined on a range of immune and metabolic parameters in addition to mortality rate. A preventative 37 degrees C significantly reduced oyster mortality after exposure to a second heat shock of 44 degrees C, but in postspawning oysters mortality remained at 80%, compared with < 10% in prespawning oysters. Levels of the 72 kDa and 69 kDa heat shock proteins were low in the gill tissue from postspawning oysters stimulated by heat shock, indicating spawning reduced heat shock protein synthesis. The postspawning oysters had depleted glycogen stores in the mantle tissue and reduced adenylate energy charge after heat shock, indicative of lower energy for metabolic activity. A cumulative effect of spawning and heat shock was observed on the immunocompetence of oysters, demonstrated by reduced hemocyte phagocytosis and hemolymph antimicrobial activity. These results support the hypothesis that the energy expended during reproduction compromises the thermotolerance and immune status of oysters, leaving them easily subject to mortality if heat stress occurs in postspawning stage. This study improves our understanding of oyster summer mortality and has implications for the long-term persistence of mollusks under the influence of global warming.  相似文献

Japanese pearl oysters (akoya oyster: Pinctada fucata martensii) are currently suffering mass mortalities from akoya-virus infection. In the present study, akoya oysters were injected with an anti-viral, recombinant feline interferon-omega) (rFeIFN-omega) in an attempt to confer resistance to this virus. In infectivity experiments, oysters were twice injected with rFeIFN-omega at 1 mega unit kg(-1) of the meat weight. They were challenged with a single inoculation of cultured akoya-virus and held for 20 to 30 d at 25 degrees C. Control oysters received only the viral challenge without rFeIFN-omega administration. In prophylactic experiments, oysters that were given the akoya-virus on Days 1 to 5 after rFeIFN-omega administration showed lower mortalities. Furthermore, the survivors had fewer muscular lesions resulting from the virus infection than the controls. In treatment experiments, the virus was inoculated on Days 1 to 3 before rFeIFN-omega administration. None of the treated oysters died within a 30 d experimental period. Survivors displayed repaired lesions with fibrous tissues that were produced by enhanced agranulocytes in the body musculature. Moreover, rFeIFN-omega) was not toxic to akoya oysters. Thus, rFeIFN-omega administration is efficacious in preventing mortality of akoya oysters with akoya-virus infection.  相似文献

The protozoan oyster parasite Perkinsus marinus can be cultured in vitro in a variety of media; however, this has been associated with a rapid attenuation of infectivity. Supplementation of defined media with products of P. marinus-susceptible (Crassostrea virginica) and -tolerant (Crassostrea gigas, Crassostrea ariakensis) oysters alters proliferation and protease expression profiles and induces differentiation into morphological forms typically seen in vivo. It was not known if attenuation could be reversed by host extract supplementation. To investigate correlations among these changes as well as their association with infectivity, the effects of medium supplementation with tissue homogenates from both susceptible and tolerant oyster species were examined. The supplements markedly altered both cell size and proliferation, regardless of species; however, upregulation of low-molecular-weight protease expression was most prominent with susceptible oysters extracts. Increased infectivity occurred with the use of oyster product-supplemented media, but it was not consistently associated with changes in cell size, cell morphology, or protease secretion and was not related to the susceptibility of the oyster species used as the supplement source.  相似文献

AIMS: To determine the effect of biotic and abiotic components of soil on the viability and infectivity of Cryptosporidium parvum, and evaluate the suitability of viability tests as a surrogate for oocyst infectivity under various environmental settings. METHODS AND RESULTS: The die-off of C. parvum in saturated and dry loamy soil was monitored over time by immunofluorescence assay (IFA) and PCR to estimate oocysts viability and by cell culture to estimate oocysts infectivity. Pseudomonas aeruginosa activity resulted in digestion of the outer layer of the oocysts, as demonstrated by loss of the ability to react in IFA. Whereas, P. aeruginosa activity did not affect the DNA amplification by PCR. A 1-log reduction in the oocysts infectivity was observed at 30 degrees C in distilled water and in saturated soil while oocysts viability was unchanged. Incubation for 10 days in dry loamy soil at 32 degrees C resulted in a 3-log(10) reduction in their infectivity while no change of oocysts viability was recorded. CONCLUSIONS: Under low temperature, C. parvum oocysts may retain their infectivity for a long time. Soil desiccation and high temperatures enhance the die-off rate of C. parvum. SIGNIFICANCE AND IMPACT OF THE STUDY: Previous die-off studies of C. parvum used viability tests that do not necessarily reflect the oocyst infectivity. Under low temperatures, there was an agreement observed between viability and infectivity tests and oocysts retained their infectivity for a long time. Desiccation and high temperatures enhance the loss of infectivity of C. parvum. The presented die-off data have significant implications on the management of wastewater reuse in warm environments.  相似文献

Two phage display antibody libraries (Tomlinson I and J) were screened against the whole oocysts of Cryptosporidium parvum to select for scFv (single chain variable fragment) antibodies. Three scFv antibodies were selected that bound to C. parvum oocysts as determined by monoclonal phage ELISA. DNA sequencing revealed that clone A11 lacked the majority of its V (H) chain. Clone B10 had a stop codon in the first framework region of the V (H) chain. We changed this stop codon to Gly by site-directed mutagenesis, and designated the variant mutB10. Clone B9 had a complete scFv gene with no internal stop codons. These antibody genes were individually subcloned into the pET-20b expression vector for soluble scFv antibody production. C. parvum infectivity was determined by infection of HCT-8 tissue culture monolayers and quantified by the foci detection method. By incubating C. parvum oocysts with individual scFv antibodies for 1 h at 37 degrees C prior to infecting the HCT-8 cells with the oocyst-scFv mixture, the infectivity of C. parvum was reduced in a dose-dependant manner. At the highest soluble scFv concentration tested (4 nmol), the mean number of infectious foci was reduced by 82%, 73% and 94% for the A11, B9 and mutB10 scFv, respectively. This inhibition of oocyst infectivity was abolished when the scFvs were exposed to boiling water. The results showed that the 3 selected scFvs bound to C. parvum oocysts, and their ability to neutralize infectivity may have potential therapeutic potential against cryptosporidiosis.  相似文献

Managing stored-product insect pests by heating the ambient air of a food-processing facility to high temperatures (50-60 degrees C), also referred to as heat treatment, is an effective technology that has been used since the early 1900s. The minimum temperature during heat treatment for effective disinfestation is 50 degrees C. The effect of sublethal exposures to 50 degrees C on the reproductive performance of stored-product insects associated with food-processing facilities is unknown. The red flour beetle, Tribolium castaneum (Herbst), is a pest commonly found in food-processing facilities worldwide. The adverse effects on fecundity, egg-to-adult survival, and progeny production of T. castaneum exposed as 1-d-old pupae and 2-wk-old adults to 50 degrees C for 60 and 39 min, respectively, were determined in the laboratory. Pupae and adults exposed for the same time periods at 28 degrees C served as the control treatment. Four possible reciprocal crosses were carried out among adults from the heat-treated (50 degrees C) and control (28 degrees C) treatments. The number of eggs produced during the first 2 wk of adult life, survival of these eggs to adulthood, and adult progeny production after 2 and 8 wk of oviposition in treatments representing all four reciprocal crosses were determined. Fecundity, egg-to-adult survival, and adult progeny production decreased by 17-63, 52-63, and 66-78%, respectively, when males, females, and both males and females were exposed to 50 degrees C. These effects were relatively more pronounced in treatments in which pupae were exposed to the high temperature compared to adults, and in exposed females than in males. The impaired reproductive performance in T. castaneum pupae and adults surviving sublethal exposures to the minimum heat treatment temperature is valuable for understanding population rebound following a heat treatment intervention.  相似文献

In this paper we describe a biological indicator which can be used to study the behavior of Vibrio vulnificus, an important molluscan shellfish-associated human pathogen. A V. vulnificus ATCC 27562 derivative that expresses green fluorescent protein (GFP) and kanamycin resistance was constructed using conjugation. Strain validation was performed by comparing the GFP-expressing strain (Vv-GFP) and the wild-type strain (Vv-WT) with respect to growth characteristics, heat tolerance (45 degrees C), freeze-thaw tolerance (-20(o) and -80 degrees C), acid tolerance (pH 5.0, 4.0, and 3.5), cold storage tolerance (5 degrees C), cold adaptation (15 degrees C), and response to starvation. Levels of recovery were evaluated using nonselective medium (tryptic soy agar containing 2% NaCl) with and without sodium pyruvate. The indicator strain was subsequently used to evaluate the survival of V. vulnificus in oysters exposed to organic acids (citric and acetic acids) and various cooling regimens. In most cases, Vv-GFP was comparable to Vv-WT with respect to growth and survival upon exposure to various biological stressors; when differences between the GFP-expressing and parent strains occurred, they usually disappeared when sodium pyruvate was added to media. When V. vulnificus was inoculated into shellstock oysters, the counts dropped 2 log(10) after 11 to 12 days of refrigerated storage, regardless of the way in which the oysters were initially cooled. Steeper population declines after 12 days of refrigerated storage were observed for both iced and refrigerated products than for slowly cooled product and product held under conservative harvest conditions. By the end of the refrigeration storage study (22 days), the counts of Vv-GFP in iced and refrigerated oysters had reached the limit of detection (10(2) CFU/oyster), but slowly cooled oysters and oysters stored under conservative harvest conditions still contained approximately 10(3) and >10(4) CFU V. vulnificus/oyster by day 22, respectively. The Vv-GFP levels in the oyster meat remained stable for up to 24 h when the meat was exposed to acidic conditions at various pH values. Ease of detection and comparability to the wild-type parent make Vv-GFP a good candidate for use in studying the behavior of V. vulnificus upon exposure to sublethal stressors that might be encountered during postharvest handling of molluscan shellfish.  相似文献

Choline dehydrogenase (CD), the first enzyme of the glycine betaine synthetic pathway, was measured in a mitochondrial lysate from gill tissue from Atlantic and Chesapeake Bay oysters acclimated to both 350 and 750 mosm. CD from both populations functions at its maximum rate at 30 degrees C and pH 8.75. Although CD from both populations has a similar affinity for its substrate, choline (K(m) = 15.7 mM), CD V(max) from Atlantic oysters is twice that from Bay oysters. In addition, the CD K(m )doubles and the V(max) increases four-fold in both oyster populations acclimated to 750 mosm. CD activity is competitively inhibited by both betaine aldehyde and glycine betaine. The differences in CD kinetics between the two oyster populations help to account for the lower glycine betaine synthesis rates and concentrations in Chesapeake Bay oysters. CD cannot function rapidly enough to saturate the enzyme, betaine aldehyde dehydrogenase (BADH), immediately downstream, and, therefore, CD kinetics limit the rate of glycine betaine synthesis in oysters. SUMMARY. Toxoplasma gondii infections have been reported in a number of marine mammals. Presently it is not known how these animals acquire T. gondii from their aquatic environment. The eastern oyster, Crassostrea virginica , has been shown to remove Cryptosporidium oocysts from seawater and a similar phenomenon may be occurring with T. gondii oocysts and marine invertebrates. The present study was done to determine if eastern oysters could remove and retain T. gondii oocysts from seawater. Oocysts of the VEG strain of T. gondii (1 × 106 oocysts) were placed in seawater (32 ppt NaCl) containing live eastern oysters. The infected seawater was removed one day postinoculation (PI) and replaced with fresh seawater. Selected oysters were removed at 1, 3 and 6 days PL Hemolymph, gill washes, and oyster tissue were collected separately at each observation time. The oyster tissue was homogenized and all 3 samples fed separately to mice. Toxoplasma gondii positive mice were observed at each time period. The results indicate that T. gondii oocysts can be removed from seawater by eastern oysters and retain their infectivity. Contaminated raw oysters may serve as a source of T. gondii infection for marine mammals and humans.  相似文献

Because Cryptosporidium parvum oocysts are very resistant to conventional water treatment processes, including chemical disinfection, we determined the kinetics and extent of their inactivation by monochromatic, low-pressure (LP), mercury vapor lamp UV radiation and their subsequent potential for DNA repair of UV damage. A UV collimated-beam apparatus was used to expose suspensions of purified C. parvum oocysts in phosphate-buffered saline, pH 7.3, at 25 degrees C to various doses of monochromatic LP UV. C. parvum infectivity reductions were rapid, approximately first order, and at a dose of 3 mJ/cm(2) (=30 J/m(2)), the reduction reached the cell culture assay detection limit of approximately 3 log(10). At UV doses of 1.2 and 3 mJ/cm(2), the log(10) reductions of C. parvum oocyst infectivity were not significantly different for control oocysts and those exposed to dark or light repair conditions for UV-induced DNA damage. These results indicate that C. parvum oocysts are very sensitive to inactivation by low doses of monochromatic LP UV radiation and that there is no phenotypic evidence of either light or dark repair of UV-induced DNA damage.  相似文献

The use of elevated temperatures (> or = 40-60 degrees C) or heat treatments for managing insects in food-processing facilities is a viable alternative to space fumigation with methyl bromide. Quantitative data are lacking on the responses of life stages of the red flour beetle, Tribolium castaneum (Herbst), an important pest of food-processing facilities worldwide, to elevated temperatures used during heat treatments. We determined time-mortality relationships for eggs, young (neonate) larvae, old larvae, pupae, and adults of T. castaneum, exposed to constant temperatures of 42, 46, 50, 54, 58, and 60 degrees C. Generally, mortality of each stage increased with an increase in temperature and exposure time. Young larvae were the most heat-tolerant stage, especially at temperatures > or = 50 degrees C. Exposure for a minimum of 7.2 h at > or = 50 degrees C was required to kill 99% of young larvae, whereas the other stages required < or = 1.8 h. Heat treatments that control young larvae should control all other stages of T. castaneum, and young larvae should be used as test insects to evaluate efficacy against T. castaneum during an actual facility heat treatment. These results provide the basis for successful use of elevated temperatures for management of T. castaneum life stages associated with food-processing facilities.  相似文献

The purpose of this study was to characterize the viral symbiont (CPV) of Cryptosporidium parvum sporozoites and evaluate the CPV capsid protein (CPV40) as a target for sensitive detection of the parasite. Recombinant CPV40 was produced in Escherichia coli, purified by affinity chromatography, and used to prepare polyclonal rabbit sera specific for the viral capsid protein. Anti-rCPV40 recognized a 40 kDa and a 30 kDa protein in C. parvum oocysts and appeared to localize to the apical end of the parasite. Anti-rCPV40 serum was capable of detecting as few as 1 C. parvum oocyst in a dot blot assay, the sensitivity being at least 1000-fold greater than sera reactive with total native C. parvum oocyst protein or specific for the 41 kDa oocyst surface antigen. Water samples were seeded with C. parvum oocysts and incubated at 4, 20, or 25 degrees C for greater than 3 months to determine if CPV levels were correlated with oocyst infectivity. Samples were removed monthly and subjected to mouse and cell culture infectivity, as well as PCR analysis for infectivity and viral particle presence. While sporozoite infectivity declined by more than 75% after 1 month at 25 degrees C, the CPV signal was similar to that of control samples at 4 degrees C. By 3 months at 20 degrees C, the C. parvum oocysts were found to be non-infectious, but retained a high CPV signal. This study indicates that CPV is an excellent target for sensitive detection of C. parvum oocysts in water, but may persist for an indefinite time after oocysts become non-infectious.  相似文献

Two commercial peroxygen-based disinfectants containing hydrogen peroxide plus either peracetic acid (Ox-Virin) or silver nitrate (Ox-Agua) were tested for their ability to inactivate Cryptosporidium parvum oocysts. Oocysts were obtained from naturally infected goat kids and exposed to concentrations of 2, 5, and 10% Ox-Virin or 1, 3, and 5% Ox-Agua for 30, 60, and 120 min. In vitro excystation, vital dyes (4',6'-diamidino-2-phenylindole and propidium iodide), and infectivity in neonatal BALB/c mice were used to assess the viability and infectivity of control and disinfectant-treated oocysts. Both disinfectants had a deleterious effect on the survival of C. parvum oocysts, since disinfection significantly reduced and in some cases eliminated their viability and infectivity. When in vitro assays were compared with an infectivity assay as indicators of oocyst inactivation, the excystation assay showed 98.6% inactivation after treatment with 10% Ox-Virin for 60 min, while the vital-dye assay showed 95.2% inactivation and the infectivity assay revealed 100% inactivation. Treatment with 3% Ox-Agua for 30 min completely eliminated oocyst infectivity for mice, although we were able to observe only 74.7% inactivation as measured by excystation assays and 24.3% with vital dyes (which proved to be the least reliable method for predicting C. parvum oocyst viability). These findings indicate the potential efficacy of both disinfectants for C. parvum oocysts in agricultural settings where soil, housing, or tools might be contaminated and support the argument that in comparison to the animal infectivity assay, vital-dye and excystation methods overestimate the viability of oocysts following chemical disinfection.  相似文献

Perkinsus marinus, a protozoan parasite of the Eastern oyster Crassostrea virginica, has severely impacted oyster populations from the Mid-Atlantic region to the Gulf of Mexico coast of North America for more than 30 yr. Although a chemotherapeutic treatment to reduce or eliminate P. marinus from infected oysters would be useful for research and hatchery operations, an effective and practical drug treatment does not currently exist. In this study, the antimicrobial drug triclosan 5-chloro-2-(2,4 dichlorophenoxy) phenol, a specific inhibitor of Fab1 (enoyl-acyl-carrier-protein reductase), an enzyme in the Type II class of fatty acid synthetases, was tested for its effects on viability, proliferation and fatty acid synthesis of in vitro-cultured P. marinus meronts. Treatment of P. marinus meront cell cultures with concentrations of > or = 2 microM triclosan at 28 degrees C (a temperature favorable for parasite proliferation) for up to 6 d stopped proliferation of the parasite. Treatment at > or = 5 microM at 28 degrees C greatly reduced the viability and fatty acid synthesis of meront cells. Oyster hemocytes treated with > or = 20 microM triclosan exhibited no significant (p < 0.05) reduction in viability relative to controls for up to 24 h at 13 degrees C. P. marinus meronts exposed to > or = 2 microM triclosan for 24 h at 13 degrees C exhibited significantly (p < 0.05) lower viability relative to controls. Exposure of P. marinus meronts to triclosan concentrations of > or = 20 microM resulted in > 50% mortality of P. marinus cells after 24 h. These results suggest that triclosan may be effective in treating P. marinus-infected oysters.  相似文献
