In addition to known compounds, the floral parts of Viguiera radula afforded two new sesquiterpene lactones. All compounds were detected in glandular trichomes, which were micromechanically collected from the anther appendages and analyzed by HPLC. Triterpene saponins from Chenopodium quinoa Willd   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3  
Twenty triterpene saponins (1-20) have been isolated from different parts of Chenopodium quinoa (flowers, fruits, seed coats, and seeds) and their structures have been elucidated by analysis of chemical and spectroscopic data including 1D- and 2D-NMR. Four compounds (1-4) were identified: 3beta-[(O-beta-d-glucopyranosyl-(1-->3)-alpha-l-arabinopyranosyl)oxy]-23-oxo-olean-12-en-28-oic acid beta-d-glucopyranoside (1), 3beta-[(O-beta-d-glucopyranosyl-(1-->3)-alpha-l-arabinopyranosyl)oxy]-27-oxo-olean-12-en-28-oic acid beta-d-glucopyranoside (2), 3-O-alpha-l-arabinopyranosyl serjanic acid 28-O-beta-d-glucopyranosyl ester (3), and 3-O-beta-d-glucuronopyranosyl serjanic acid 28-O-beta-d-glucopyranosyl ester (4). The following known compounds have not previously been reported as saponin constituents from the flowers and the fruits of this plant: two bidesmosides of serjanic acid (5,6), four bidesmosides of oleanolic acid (7-10), five bidesmosides of phytolaccagenic acid (11-15), four bidesmosides of hederagenin (16-19), and one bidesmoside of 3beta,23,30-trihydroxy olean-12-en-28-oic acid (20). The cytotoxicity of these saponins and their aglycones was tested in HeLa cells. Induction of apoptosis in Caco-2 cells by bidesmosidic saponins 1-4 and their aglycones I-III was determined by flow cytometric DNA analysis. The saponins with an aldehyde group were most active. The relationships between structure and cytotoxic activity of saponins and their aglycones are discussed.  相似文献

Continuing our investigations on medicinal plants of the Egyptian desert, two new triterpene glycoside derivatives, along with three known compounds have been isolated from the roots of Salsola imbricata, a shrub widely growing in Egypt. Their structures have been established as 3-O-β-d-xylopyranosyl-(1 → 2)-O-β-d-glucuronopyranosyl-akebonic acid 28-O-β-d-glucopyranoside and 3-O-β-d-xylopyranosyl-(1 → 2)-O-β-d-glucuronopyranosyl-29-hydroxyoleanolic acid 28-O-β-d-glucopyranoside on the basis of spectroscopic methods including 1D- (1H, 13C) and 2D-NMR (DQF-COSY, HSQC, HMBC) experiments as well as mass spectrometry analysis.  相似文献

Two lupin saponins, 3beta,21alpha,22beta,24-tetrahydroxyolean-12-en-3-O-alpha-L-rhamnopyranosyl-(1-->2)-beta-D-galactopyranosyl-(1-->2)-beta-D-glucuronopyranosyl-21-O-alpha-L-arabinopyranoside and 3beta,21alpha,22beta,24-tetrahydroxyolean-12-en-3-O-beta-D-galactopyranosyl-(1-->2)-beta-D-glucuronopyranosyl-21-O-alpha-L-rhamnopyranoside, along with eight other saponins and one triterpene previously reported from other legumes, were isolated from the aerial parts of Lupinus oreophilus collected in northern Chile. The structures of the isolated compounds were established with the help of extensive spectroscopic techniques.  相似文献

Five 3-O-glucuronide triterpene saponins (1-5) were isolated from the stem bark of Bersama engleriana Gurke along with two known saponins, polyscias saponin C and aralia saponin 15, and one major C-glycoside xanthone, mangiferin. The structures of the saponins were established mainly by means of spectroscopic methods (one- and two-dimensional NMR spectroscopy as well as FAB-, HRESI-mass spectrometry) as 3-O-[beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->2)-beta-D-glucuronopyranosyl]-28-O-[beta-D-glucopyranosyl]-betulinic acid (1), 3-O-[beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->2)-[beta-D-galactopyranosyl-(1-->3)]-beta-D-glucuronopyranosyl]-oleanolic acid (2), 3-O-[beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->3)-beta-D-glucuronopyranosyl]-28-O-[beta-D-xylopyranosyl-(1-->6)-beta-d-glucopyranosyl]-oleanolic acid (3), 3-O-[beta-D-galactopyranosyl-(1-->3)-beta-D-glucuronopyranosyl]-28-O-[beta-D-glucopyranosyl-(1-->4)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl]-oleanolic acid (4), and 3-O-[beta-d-glucopyranosyl-(1-->3)-beta-D-galactopyranosyl-(1-->3)-beta-D-glucuronopyranosyl]-28-O-[beta-d-xylopyranosyl-(1-->6)-beta-D-glucopyranosyl]-oleanolic acid (5).  相似文献

Six new steroidal saponins (1-6) were isolated from the roots of A. acutifolius L., together with a known spirostanol glycoside (7). Their structures were elucidated mainly by extensive spectroscopic analysis (1D and 2D NMR, FABMS and HRESIMS). Compounds 4-7 demonstrated antifungal activity against the human pathogenic yeasts C. albicans, C. glabrata and C. tropicalis with MICs values between 12.5 and 100 microg/ml.  相似文献

Thirteen oleanane saponins (1-13), four of which were new compounds (1-4), were isolated from Pteleopsis suberosa Engl. et Diels stem bark (Combretaceae). Their structures were determined by 1D and 2D NMR spectroscopy and ESI-MS spectrometry. The compounds were identified as 2alpha,3beta,19alpha,23,24-pentahydroxy-11-oxo-olean-12-en-28-oic acid 28-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl ester (1), 2alpha,3beta,19beta,23,24-pentahydroxy-11-oxo-olean-12-en-28-oic acid 28-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl ester (2), 2alpha,3beta,19alpha,23-tetrahydroxy-11-oxo-olean-12-en-28-oic acid 28-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl ester (3), and 2alpha,3beta,6beta,19alpha,24-pentahydroxy-11-oxo-olean-12- en-28-oic acid 28-O-beta-D-glucopyranosyl ester (4). The presence of alpha,beta-unsaturated carbonyl function was not common in the oleanane class and the aglycons of these compounds were not found previously in the literature. Moreover, the isolated compounds were tested against Helicobacter pylori standard and vacA, and cagA clinical virulence genotypes. Results showed that compound 6 has an anti-H. pylori activity against three metronidazole-resistant strains (Ci 1 cagA, Ci 2 vacA, and Ci 3).  相似文献

The known compound succulentoside B (7) was also encountered. From the roots of Gundelia tournefortii seven saponins have been isolated mainly by DCCC. The main saponins (A and B) were characterized, mainly by 13C and 1H NMR spectroscopy, as oleanolic acid 3-O-(2-[α-l-arabinopyranosyl(1 → 3) -β-d-gentiotriosyl(1 → 6) -β-d-glucopyranosyl]gb-d-xylopyranoside) (saponin A) and oleanolic acid 3-O-(2-[α-l-arabinopyranosyl] (1 → 3)-β-d-gentiobiosyl (1 → 6)-β-d-glucopyranosyl β-d-xylopyranoside) (saponin B). The other saponins are also derived from oleanolic acid and contain more sugar units. The saponin mixture and the saponins A and B possess strong molluscicidal activity against the schistosomiasis transmitting snail Biomphalaria glabrata.  相似文献

A new triterpene glycoside, repandoside (1) was isolated together with six known saponins (2-7) from the methanol extract of Cyclamen repandum tubers. The isolated saponins were characterized by high resolution mass spectrometry and both 1D and 2D NMR experiments. The in vitro effect of saponins on LPS-induced IL-8 and TNF-α mRNA level (by quantitative RT-PCR) and protein release (by ELISA) was evaluated in human THP-1 macrophages. We found that compounds 1 (repandoside), 2 (deglucocyclamin) and 4 (anagalloside B) at 100 μM inhibited the LPS-induced IL-8 and TNF-α expressions.  相似文献

Ten steroidal saponins with cis-fused A/B ring, including a smilagenin glycoside, elephanoside A (4), and the five furostanol bisdesmosides, elephanosides B-F (6-10), were isolated from the stems of Yucca elephantipes Regel. (Agavaceae). Their structures were determined by detailed chemical and spectroscopic analysis. All the isolated compounds were tested for their in vitro antifungal and antibacterial activities. Only the two known spirostanol glycosides Ys-II (1) and Ys-IV (2) showed moderate inhibitory activity against the growth of Candida albicans and Cryptococcus neoformans.  相似文献

Six steroidal glycosides (1-6) were isolated from the aerial parts of Tribulus alatus Del. (Zygophyllaceae), together with one known cholestane, one spirostane, and six flavonol glycosides. Among them, 1 and 2 possess a furostane-type aglycone, 3 and 6 a cholestane structure, and 4 and 5 a spirostane skeleton. Investigation of the endemic Madagascan plant Nematostylis anthophylla (Rubiaceae) for antiproliferative activity against the A2780 ovarian cancer cell line led to the isolation of the known triterpene saponin randianin ( 1 ), and the two new bioactive triterpene saponins 2″‐O‐acetylrandianin ( 2 ) and 6″‐O‐acetylrandianin ( 3 ). The structures of the two new compounds were elucidated based on analysis of their 1D‐ and 2D‐NMR spectra, and mass spectrometric data. The three isolated triterpene saponins displayed moderate but selective antiproliferative activities, with IC50 values of 1.2, 1.7, and 2.2 μM , respectively, against the A2780 ovarian cancer, but only weak inhibitions of the proliferation of A2058 melanoma and the H522 lung cancer cell lines.  相似文献

From the n-BuOH extract of the aerial parts of Genista ulicina, six triterpene saponins, 3-O-β-d-glucopyranosyl-olean-12-ene-3β,27,28,30-tetraol, 3-O-β-d-glucopyranosyl-olean-12-ene-3β,27,28,29-tetraol, 3,29-di-O-β-d-glucopyranosyl-olean-12-ene-3β,27,28,29-tetraol, 3-O-β-d-glucopyranosyl-olean-12-ene-3β,28,29-triol-27-oic acid, 3-O-β-d-glucopyranosyl-olean-12-ene-3β,27,28-triol-29-oic acid, and 3-O-β-d-glucopyranosyl-14-H-27-nor-olean-12-ene-3β,28,29-triol, were isolated together with eight known triterpene saponins and six flavonoids. Their structures were established mainly by means of spectroscopic methods (1D and 2D-NMR as well as HR-ESI-MS). The n-BuOH extract, investigated for its antitumor growth inhibition of human colon cancer HT-29 cells, presented no significant activity (IC50 > 100 μg).  相似文献

Thirteen steroidal saponins were isolated from the leaves of Beaucarnea recurvata Lem. Their structures were established using one- and two-dimensional NMR spectroscopy and mass spectrometry. Six of them were identified as: 26-O-β-d-glucopyranosyl (25S)-furosta-5,20(22)-diene 1β,3β,26-triol 1-O-α-l-rhamnopyranosyl-(1 → 2) β-d-fucopyranoside, 26-O-β-d-glucopyranosyl (25S)-furosta-5,20(22)-diene 1β,3β,26-triol 1-O-α-l-rhamnopyranosyl-(1 → 2)-4-O-acetyl-β-d-fucopyranoside, 26-O-β-d-glucopyranosyl (25R)-furosta-5,20(22)-diene-23-one-1β,3β,26-triol 1-O-α-l-rhamnopyranosyl-(1 → 2) β-d-fucopyranoside, 26-O-β-d-glucopyranosyl (25S)-furosta-5-ene-1β,3β,22α,26-tetrol 1-O-α-l-rhamnopyranosyl-(1 → 4)-6-O-acetyl-β-d-glucopyranoside, 26-O-β-d-glucopyranosyl (25S)-furosta-5-ene-1β,3β,22α,26-tetrol 1-O-α-l-rhamnopyranosyl-(1 → 2) β-d-fucopyranoside, and 24-O-β-d-glucopyranosyl (25R)-spirost-5-ene-1β,3β,24-triol 1-O-α-l-rhamnopyranosyl-(1 → 2)-4-O-acetyl-β-d-fucopyranoside. The chemotaxonomic classification of B. recurvata in the family Ruscaceae was discussed.  相似文献
