Sudden sensorineural hearing loss (SSNHL) is one of the most common diseases encountered by otolaryngologists; however, the etiology is unclear. The aim of this study was to assess the association between SSNHL and polymorphism of complement factor H (CFH) Y402H, which is implicated in age-related macular degeneration. We conducted a case-control study, in which the cases were 72 SSNHL patients and the controls were 2161 residents selected randomly from the resident register. The odds ratio (OR) for SSNHL risk was determined using the additive-genetic model of CFH Y402H polymorphism. The OR for SSNHL risk was 1.788 (95% confidence interval [CI]: 1.008-3.172) with no adjustments and 1.820 (CI: 1.025-3.232) after adjusting for age and sex. Of the three lifestyle-related diseases hypertension, dyslipidemia, and diabetes, only diabetes was significantly associated with SSNHL risk. We classified both the controls and SSNHL patients into those with or without diabetes, and the OR for SSNHL risk was 6.326 (CI: 1.885-21.225) in diabetic subjects and 1.214 (CI: 0.581-2.538) in nondiabetic subjects. We conclude that CFH Y402H polymorphism and SSNHL risk are significantly related, and that diabetic CFH Y402H minor allele carriers may be susceptible to SSNHL.  相似文献

Pseudoxanthoma elasticum (PXE) is a hereditary disorder predominantly affecting the eyes, the skin, and the vascular system. The subretinal neovascularization and retinal hemorrhages leading to the loss of central vision in PXE are similar to the process observed in age-related macular degeneration (AMD). The complement factor H (CFH) variant c.1277T > C (p.Y402H) is a recently discovered risk factor for AMD. The aim of this study was to analyze whether this CFH variant is a secondary genetic risk factor for PXE. Therefore, the genotypes of CFH c.1277T > C (p.Y402H) were determined in 189 German PXE patients and 189 age- and sex-matched controls. The allelic frequencies of the investigated variant did not differ between patients and controls. The frequencies were 33%, 56%, and 11% for wild-type, heterozygous, and homozygous genotypes in the PXE patients and 36%, 51%, and 13% in the control cohort, respectively. Further, no significant associations were identified when allele carriers were analyzed or after adjustment for sex, age, smoking, organ involvement, hypertension, or age at disease onset. No significant genotype-phenotype correlation was detected. In conclusion, our data reliably show that the CFH variant c.1277T > C (p.Y402H) is not a genetic risk factor for PXE.  相似文献

The complement system is an important immunosurveillance mechanism against tumors, and complement factor H (CFH) is a key regulator for activation of the complement system. Expression of complement factor H has been demonstrated in cell lines from several malignancies. In this study we examined the contribution of the single-nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) Try402His (Y402H) (rs1061170) in the CFH gene to the risk of lung cancer in a case-control study with 1000 cases and 1000 controls. Odds ratios (ORs) and 95% confidence intervals (CIs) were computed by logistic regression. The frequencies for CFH Y402H genotypes among the cases were statistically significantly different from those among controls (χ(2)=8.66, P=0.003), with 402His/His or 402His/Try genotypes being over-represented among patients compared with controls (13.6% versus 9.4%, P<0.004). A multivariate regression analysis showed that a significantly increased risk of lung cancer for the 402His/His or 402His/Try carriers with OR (95% CI), 1.50 (1.12-2.00). When stratified by smoking status, the elevated risk of the cancer associated with variant CFH genotypes was observed among smokers, but not among non-smokers. When analyzed with cumulative smoking dose (pack-years), a super-multiplicative interaction was observed at different smoking levels. Among carriers with the 402Tyr/His or His/His genotype, the ORs of developing lung cancer for smoking<16, 16-28, or >28 pack-years were 0.98 (0.49-1.94), 2.36 (1.14-4.90), and 6.39 (3.49-11.68), respectively. These findings suggest that CFH Y402H polymorphism may interact with cigarette smoking to effect the development of lung cancer in the Chinese population.  相似文献

The purpose of the study was to determine serum complement factor H (CFH) levels in patients of age related macular degeneration (AMD) and examine its association with CFH Y402H polymorphism. 115 AMD patients and 61 normal controls were recruited in this study. The single nucleotide polymorphism was assayed by real time PCR and serum CFH levels were measured by ELISA and standardized to total serum protein. Chi-square test was applied to polymorphism analysis while Mann Whitney U-statistic for CFH-levels. Mendelian randomization approach was used for determining causal relationship. The genotype frequency differed between the AMD patients (TT- 18.3%, TC-41.3% and CC-40.4%) and controls (TT-76.3%, TC-13.6%, and CC-10.1%) (p = 0001). The frequency of alleles was also significantly different when AMD (T-39% and C-61%) was compared to controls (T-83% and C-17%) (p = 0.0001). Level of serum CFH was significantly lower in AMD patients as compared to normal controls (p = 0.001). Our data showed that the CFH Y402H polymorphism is a risk factor for AMD in the North Indian population. Mendelian randomization approach revealed that CFH Y402H polymorphism affects AMD risk through the modification of CFH serum levels.  相似文献

Age-related macular degeneration (AMD) is a disease with multifactorial etiology characterized by irreversible loss of central visual acuity. The discovery of susceptive single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) has progressed our understanding of AMD. Complement factor H (CFH) gene Y402H polymorphism and high-temperature requirement A-1 (HTRA1) LOC387715 gene A69S polymorphisms are the most important SNPs reported in the literature. Determination of genetic risk factors and genotype-phenotype relationship in AMD may result in rapid and cost-effective therapeutic applications for young and old population. In this study, we hypothesized a potential association between CFH gene Y402H and HTRA1 LOC387715 gene A69S polymorphism in Turkish AMD patients. In blood samples from a total of 252 individuals, 147 clinically diagnosed as AMD and the others control, polymorphic sites in CFH, Y402H (Tsp509I T/C), and HTRA1, LOC387715 A69S (FnuHI G/T), were determined by polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism analysis. There was significant difference between CFH genotypes in the AMD group, TT 21.8%, TC 48.3%, and CC 29.9%, and in the control subjects, TT 45% (p=0.003), TC 41% (p=0.0001), and CC 14% (p=0.0001). Further, the A69S polymorphism of LOC387715 was investigated and found to be significantly associated with AMD. LOC387715 genotypes in the AMD group were GG 30.6%, GT 38.1%, and TT 31.3% and in the control subjects were GG 59% (p=0.027), GT 39% (p=0.0001), and TT 2% (p=0.0001), respectively. We also found that Y402H C and A69S T allele were associated with AMD. This is the first study showing that Y402H and LOC387715 are associated with AMD in Turkish population.  相似文献

In Turkish population, plasma HDL‐C levels were found to be lower than in any other country and it is suggested that this is associated with genetic origin. The cholesteryl ester transfer protein (CETP) ?629C > A polymorphism is associated with lower plasma CETP concentration, with increased HDL‐C level. In the present study, the frequency of ?629C > A polymorphism in patients with coronary artery disease (CAD) was investigated and the effect of genotype on HDL‐C was evaluated in a Turkish population. For this aim CETP ?629C > A polymorphism was studied in angiographically documented CAD patients and healthy controls. There was no statistical significance in the distribution of genotypes between patients and controls. Although A allele carriers with CAD had significantly lower HDL‐C levels than controls, plasma lipid levels showed no difference according to the genotypes. Adjustment by a logistic regression model predicting CAD status through HDL‐C and including some risk factors as covariate indicated that the HDL‐C doesn't have a significant association with CAD risk in CA and AA genotype carriers. Smoking, gender and hypertension were the common predictors for the HDL‐C levels in CA and AA carriers. Although HDL‐C appeared to be the only significant predictor of CAD in our study groups, the contribution of CETP ?629C > A polymorphism to the alterations in HDL‐C level appears to be weak to mention a protective effect of this polymorphism for CAD. In conclusion, the findings of the present study indicate that the CETP ?629C > A polymorphism is not among the determinants of the coronary artery disease in Turks. Paraoxonase 1 (PON 1) is a high‐density lipoprotein (HDL)‐associated enzyme with antioxidant function protecting low‐density lipoprotein (LDL) from oxidation. PON 1 has two amino acid polymorphisms in coding region; L/M 55 and Q/R 192. These polymorphisms modulate paraoxonase activity of the enzyme. PON 1 activity decreases in coronary artery disease (CAD). In the present study, distribution of PON 1 L/M 55 and Q/R 192 polymorphisms and the effect of these polymorphisms on the activities of PON 1, and on the severity of CAD in 277 CAD (+) patient and 92 CAD (?) subjects were examined. PON 1 L/M 55 and Q/R 192 genotypes were determined by PCR, RFLP and agarose gel electrophoresis techniques. Genotype distributions and allele frequencies for PON 1 Q/R 192 polymorphism were not significantly different between controls and CAD (+) patient group (p > 0.05), but in genotype and allele distribution of PON 1 L/M55 polymorphism, there was significantly difference among groups (p < 0.05). Genotype distributions for both polymorphisms were not significantly different between subgroups of single‐vessel disease (SVD), double‐vessel disease (DVD) and triple‐vessel disease (TVD). Serum PON 1 activity was lower in CAD (+) group than in controls and this was also statistically significant (p < 0.001). In both groups, the highest PON activities were detected in LL and RR genotypes. In summary, our results suggest that there is an association between the PON 1 L/M 55 polymorphism of paraoxonase and CAD in Turkish patients but not with PON 1 Q/R 192 polymorphism. This article put the genetic association exploration of osteoprotegerin (OPG) gene polymorphisms in promoter region (A-163G, T-245G) and fracture risk first and hoped to explain the ethology of fracture. The genotyping of OPG gene polymorphisms was conducted with the method of polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism in 125 fracture patients and 138 relative controls. The genotype frequencies of selected controls based on OPG gene polymorphisms were checked by the χ2 test whether conformed to Hardy–Weinberg equilibrium (HWE). The relative risk was represented with odds ratio (OR) and 95% confidence interval (95% CI) between gene polymorphism and disease. The linkage disequilibrium (LD) and haplotype were also analyzed. The genotypes distributions of selected controls in OPG polymorphisms conformed to HWE. The G allele of A-163G polymorphism carriers had the tendency to suffer from fracture in the same condition, compared with A allele carriers (OR = 1.63, 95% CI = 1.04–2.55). TG and TG/GG genotypes of OPG T-245G polymorphism also showed the increased risk of fracture development, but not TT genotype (OR = 2.22, 95% CI = 1.15–4.28; OR = 2.45, 95% CI = 1.28–4.68). Likely, the mutant allele G had an abnormally higher frequency in cases than controls (14.00% and 6.16%). These two polymorphisms existed the LD and the haplotype G -163–G -245 obviously increased the risk of fracture. OPG A-163G, T-245G polymorphisms were associated with the onset of fracture and both the independent risk factors.  相似文献

We investigated the association between myeloperoxidase gene -463G > A polymorphism and premature coronary artery disease (CAD) in two Chinese population samples: 229 patients and 230 controls. Genotypes were determined by ligase detection reaction-polymerase chain reaction sequencing and the grouping technique. We found lower frequencies of both the A/A genotype and the A allele in patients (p < 0.05). Multivariate logistic regression showed that the risk of premature CAD in subjects carrying the AA genotype was reduced by 83% in relation to individuals carrying the G/G genotype (OR = 0.172, 95% CI: 0.057-0.526, p = 0.002). Our results indicate that -463G > A polymorphism of the myeloperoxidase gene is associated with premature CAD in Chinese individuals, suggesting that the AA genotype is a protective factor against premature CAD.  相似文献

We investigated the relationships among the +1444C/T polymorphism in the C-reactive protein (CRP) gene and the concentration of CRP and the risk of coronary heart disease. Using polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism, we analyzed the frequency distribution of genotypes and alleles of the +1444C/T polymorphism in samples from 128 patients with coronary heart disease (coronary stenosis more than 50%) and 119 unrelated normal individuals. The plasma levels of CRP and lipids in the subjects were also measured. The frequencies of the genotypes were CC 89.1%, CT 10.9%, and TT 0% in patients and CC 89.9%, CT 10.1%, and TT 0% in controls. The frequency of allele C was 94.5% in patients and 95.0% in controls, and allele T was 5.5% in patients and 5.1% in controls. The distribution of genotypes and alleles in the Chinese Han population was significantly different from that of the Caucasian population. There were no significant differences between frequencies of genotype and allele of controls and those of patients (P>0.05), but in controls the concentrations of CRP in the CC genotype subgroup were significantly higher than those in the CT genotype subgroup (P<0.05). This suggests that the +1444C/T variant in the CRP gene influences the basal CRP level in normal people. These findings imply that there may eventually be a need to establish genotype-specific risk thresholds of the CRP level.  相似文献

Age-related macular degeneration (ARMD) is the leading cause of blindness in the elderly population not only Western but also Asian industrial countries. In Caucasian, a polymorphism of the complement factor H gene (CFH), the C allele of rs1061170 (Y402H), was established as the first strong genetic factor for excursively exudative type of ARMD. In this study, we performed an extensive sequencing of the 22 exons in the CFH gene by recruiting 146 exudative ARMD patients and 105 normal controls of Japanese origin and identified 61 polymorphisms. We found that the frequency of the C allele of rs1061170 (Y402H) is much lower (0.04) in Japanese controls than in Caucasians (0.45). No case disease susceptibility to exudative ARMD was noted for rs1061170 (Y402H) (χ 2 = 3.19, P corr = 0.423), or other 12 single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) whose frequency is greater than 0.05. When haplotypes were inferred for 13 SNPs (these 12 SNPs with a frequency greater than 0.05 and rs1061170), three haplotypes whose pattern was similar to those in Caucasians were identified but with substantial difference in frequency. Again we failed to identify genetic association between Japanese exudative ARMD and any of the haplotypes including the J1 haplotype which was shown to be susceptible to ARMD in Caucasians (χ 2 = 3.92, P corr = 0.157). CFH does not appear to be a primary hereditary contributor to ARMD in Japanese. Aim: Polymorphism in the monocyte chemoattractant protein-1 (MCP-1) gene (A-2518G) has been associated with functional effects. The aim of the present study was to assess the effect of this polymorphism on end-stage renal disease (ESRD) and cardiovascular disease (CVD) in hemodialyzed patients. Methods: A total of 720 patients with ESRD treated with hemodialysis (450 patients with CVD) and 325 healthy control subjects were genotyped for the MCP-1 -2518 polymorphism by the polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) procedure. Results: There was a significant difference in genotype frequencies between entire group of hemodialyzed patients and controls (p < 0.01). The odds ratio for the risk allele was 1.85, 95% CI 1.49–2.32 (p < 0.01). Hemodialyzed patients were divided into subgroups with CVD (n = 450) and without CVD (n = 270). The G allele carriers occurred with significantly higher frequency in patients with CVD (62% vs. 38% in patients without CVD and 36% in controls). The odds ratio for the risk allele for patients with CVD vs. those without CVD was 2.17, 95% CI 1.71–2.79. There was no statistically significant difference in the distribution of MCP-1 genotypes between ESRD patients without CVD and healthy controls. Conclusion: Our results demonstrate for the first time an association between the polymorphism in the regulatory region of the MCP-1 gene and susceptibility to CVD in hemodialyzed patients.  相似文献

目的:炎症反应在动脉粥样斑块变化的病理过程中发挥着重要的作用。本研究探讨CXCR2基因+1235 C/T单核苷酸多态与中国汉族人群急性冠脉综合征发病的相关关系。方法:本研究采用聚合酶链反应-限制性片段长度多态性方法对675例急性冠脉综合征的患者和636例对照组进行检测,分析CXCR2基因+1235 C/T单核苷酸多态的基因型和等位基因频率的分布情况,同时收集济南军区总医院心内科经冠脉造影证实为阳性的急性冠脉综合征患者360例及对照者360例,对上述关联分析的结果进行复制实验的印证。结果:CXCR2基因+1235 C/T单核苷酸多态三种基因型(CC型,CT型和TT型)在急性冠脉综合征组分布频率分别为39.3%,45.3%和15.1%,在对照组分别为41.7%,47.2%和11.1%,CXCR2基因+1235 C/T基因型和等位基因频率对照组和急性冠脉综合征组之间存在统计学差异(P〈0.05)。Logistic回归校正性别、年龄、体重指数、吸烟、高血压、高脂血症、糖尿病等冠心病的易患因素后,CXCR2基因+1235 C/T多态与急性冠脉综合征的发病存在相关关系(P〈0.05)。结论:CXCR2基因+1235 C/T多态与急性冠脉综合征发病存在相关关系,CXCR2基因+1235 C/T多态可能是中国汉族人群急性冠脉综合征发病的独立危险因子。  相似文献

目的:探讨内皮脂肪酶(endothelial lipase, EL)rs3829632多态性对江苏地区女性宫颈癌易感性的影响。方法:采用病例-对照研究收集南通市妇幼保健院和南通市肿瘤医院宫颈癌病人328例及年龄匹配的对照人群356例,采集血标本提取基因组DNA运用DNA测序法对rs3829632位点进行基因分型;提取宫颈癌病理组织的m RNA及蛋白运用实时荧光定量PCR及Western blot检测其中EL的表达水平。结果:与基因型为rs3829632 TT的个体相比,携带rs3829632 C等位的个体宫颈癌患病风险显著升高;在宫颈癌病人中,rs3829632 CC基因型个体病理组织中EL的表达水平显著高于其他基因型个体。结论:EL rs3829632 C等位携带者其宫颈癌患病风险性升高,这一结果可能与发生在启动子区域的rs3829632影响了EL的表达及功能进而改变了宫颈细胞的脂质代谢状态有关。  相似文献

Endothelium-derived nitric oxide (NO) is synthesized from l-arginine by endothelial nitric oxide synthase (eNOS) encoded by the NOS3 gene on chromosome7. Since reduced NO synthesis has been implicated in the development of coronary atherosclerosis; polymorphisms of NOS gene might be associated with increased susceptibility to coronary artery disease (CAD). We therefore undertook this study to determine the association between the occurrence of CAD and eNOS4 b/a polymorphism in South Indian patients. We investigated the polymorphisms in the 27 base-pair tandem repeats in intron4 of the eNOS gene in 100 unrelated CAD patients with positive coronary angiograms and 100 age and sex matched control subjects without any history of symptomatic CAD. The eNOS gene intron4 b/a VNTR polymorphism was analyzed by polymerase chain reaction. The plasma lipids levels and other risk factors were also determined. The genotype frequencies for eNOS4b/b, eNOS4a/b and eNOS4a/a were 63, 26 and 11 per cent in CAD subjects, and 72, 20 and 8 per cent in control subjects, respectively. The genotype frequencies did not differ significantly between the two groups. The frequency of the a allele was 0.24 per cent in CAD subjects and 0.18 per cent in control subjects and no significant association was found between patients and control group (P = 0.57, Odds ratio = 3.62). Plasma lipids, glucose and creatinine levels were significantly increased in CAD group. The genotypic frequencies and the allele frequency did not differ significantly between the CAD patients and controls indicating that this polymorphism was not an independent risk factor for the development of CAD in South Indian patients.  相似文献

NT5E encodes ecto-5′-nucleotidase (e5NT, CD73) which hydrolyses extracellular AMP to adenosine. Adenosine has been shown to play a protective role against aortic valve calcification (AVC). We identified two nonsynonymous missense single nucleotide polymorphisms (c.1126A > G, p.T376A and c.1136T > C, p.M379T) in exon 6 of the human NT5E gene. Since both substitutions might affect e5NT activity and consequently alter extracellular adenosine levels, we evaluated the association between NT5E alleles and calcific aortic valve disease in 119 patients (95 patients with AVC and 24 controls). In AVC patients, the frequency of the G allele at c.1126 and the frequency of the GG genotype as well as the frequency of the C allele at c.1136, and the frequencies of CC and TC genotypes tended to be higher as compared to controls. The allele and genotype frequencies in AVC patients and controls were also compared to those calculated from the 1000 Genomes Project data for control individuals of European ancestry (n = 503). We found that the frequency of the C allele at c.1136 is significantly higher in patients with AVC than in the European controls (0.111 vs. 0.054, P = 0.0052). Moreover, e5NT activity in aortic valves showed a trend toward lower levels in AVC patients with CC and TC genotypes than in those with the TT genotype. Our findings indicate that the genetic polymorphism of NT5E may contribute to the pathogenesis of calcific aortic valve disease and that the C allele of SNP c.1136 is associated with an increased risk of AVC.  相似文献

The C825T polymorphism in the gene encoding the G protein beta 3 subunit (GNB3) causes enhanced G protein activation and the increased in vitro cell proliferation. We investigated the association of gene GNB3 C825T polymorphism with coronary artery disease (CAD) in the Russian population. A total of 313 patients with CAD diagnosed on the basis of clinical studies and coronary angyography were examined. The control group included 132 individuals that lacked clinical CAD symptoms and had matching profile of coronary artery disease risk factors. Blood pressure was measured using standard protocols. Increased levels of diastolic and systolic pressure was observed in both groups. The allele and genotype frequencies of this polimorphic marker were significantly higher in the CAD patients than in control. We found that the frequency of allele C and gen-. otype CC was significantly higher in the CAD patients (OR = 1.55; P = 0.0079; OR = 1.63; P = 0.0215, respectively), which suggests higher risk of this pathology in carriers of allele C and genotype CC. Thus, in the Russian population coronary artery disease is associated with GNB3 allele C and genotype CC.  相似文献

The H2B family, member W, testis specific (H2BFWT) gene encodes a testis specific histone that plays a crucial role in reorganization and remodeling of chromatin and epigenetic regulation during spermatogenesis, suggesting that the gene may be involved in spermatogenesis impairment. To test the speculation, the allele and haplotype frequencies of two single-nucleotide polymorphism loci in this gene, ?9C>T and 368A>G, were investigated in 409 infertile patients with idiopathic azoospermia or oligozoospermia and 209 fertile men as controls using polymerase chain reaction restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) assay. As the results, the frequencies of ?9T (52.8% vs. 41.6%, p = 0.009) and 368G (43.0% vs. 32.5%, p = 0.012) were significantly higher in patients than those in controls; after stratifying patients, the significant higher frequencies were still detected in allele ?9T for azoospermia (57.4% vs. 41.6%, p = 0.001) and allele 368G for oligozoospermia (45.4% vs. 32.5%, p = 0.007). The haplotype CA was significantly decreased (22.8% vs. 33.0%, p = 0.006) whereas TG was significantly increased (18.3% vs. 7.2%, p < 0.001) in infertile patients compared with controls. These results indicated that the polymorphism ?9C>T and 368A>G in H2BFWT gene are associated with male infertility with idiopathic azoospermia or oligozoospermia, suggesting that H2BFWT gene might be contribute to susceptibility to spermatogenesis impairment in Chinese population.  相似文献

This study was performed to investigate the association between interferon (IFN)-γ single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) and susceptibility for psoriasis vulgaris. DNA from 78 patients with psoriasis vulgaris (54 patients with type I psoriasis, 24 with type II psoriasis) and 74 healthy volunteers was investigated. IFN-γ promoter gene SNP in position 874 was evaluated by polymerase chain reaction with sequence-specific primers (PCR-SSP) and the results were compared between a group of psoriatic patients, divided into early onset of psoriasis (type I) and late onset of psoriasis (type II) subgroups, and healthy control subjects. A significant difference in the genotype frequencies between psoriasis patients and healthy controls was found (p <0.02) and no significant differences were observed analyzing subsets of psoriatic patients (gender, type of disease) also in carriage and allele frequencies. Abstract

This study was designed to investigate the association of the IL-8-251?T?>?A gene polymorphism with clinicopathological features and the prognostic role of the gene polymorphism in patients with gastric adenocarcinoma. The gene polymorphism was detected by the polymerase chain reaction–restriction fragment length polymorphism method, followed by univariate and multivariate analyses to elicit its prognostic role. The frequency of IL-8-251?A/A, A/T and T/T genotypes were 11.0% (23/210), 43.8% (92/210) and 45.2% (95/210), respectively. The IL-8-251 gene polymorphism was closely correlated with depth of invasion (p?=?0.007), grade of differentiation (p?=?0.002) and TNM stage (p?=?0.009). A/A genotype carriers showed more frequency of serosa involvement, low grade of differentiation and advanced stage of gastric carcinoma. IL-8-251?T?>?A gene polymorphism have no significant correlation with other clinicopathological features. The 5-year overall survival of IL-8-251?A/A genotype and T allele carriers were 30.8% and 59.2%, respectively. There is a significant discrepancy among the different genotype carriers. Multivariate analysis with the Cox regression model revealed that the IL-8-251?A/A genotype is an independent prognostic indicator (HR?=?2.285, 95% Confidence Interval?=?1.06–4.93, p?=?0.035). We conclude that the IL-8-251?A/A genotype may indicate a poor prognosis for gastric adenocarcinoma patients.  相似文献
