ABSTRACT

The optimal conditions for the preparation of glucose-conjugated chicken myofibrillar proteins (Mfs) via the Maillard reaction, presenting strong antioxidant activity against hydroxyl radicals (?OH) and high solubility in low ionic strength medium, were sought using random-centroid optimization (RCO). Four parameters of temperature, relative humidity (RH), reaction time, and glucose-to-Mfs mixing ratio, were examined, resulting in a total of 24 vertices. Evaluations were carried out relatively to each individual vertex, and the optimal preparatory conditions to obtain the highest antioxidant activity were determined as follows: temperature of 52 °C, RH of 38%, reaction time of 6.79 h, and a glucose to Mfs mixing ratio of 11.7 (w/w). The resulting glucose-conjugated chicken Mfs gained thermal gel-forming ability and its ?OH averting capacity reached 9.7 ± 0.7 μmol of gallic acid equivalent/g of protein.

Abstract

The biochemical status in the saliva of 12 males before/after using mobile phone has been evaluated. Radio frequency signals of 1800 MHz (continuous wave transmission, 217?Hz modulate and Global System for Mobile Communications [GSM – non-DTX]) with 1.09 w/kg specific absorption rate (SAR) value were used for 15 and 30?min. Cell phone radiation induced a significant increase of superoxide dismutase (SOD); there was a statistically significant effect of talking time on the levels of SOD, F(2, 33)?=?8.084, p?<?0.05, ω?=?0.53. The trend analysis suggests a significant quadratic trend, F(1, 33)?=?4.891, p?<?0.05; indicating that after 15?min of talking the levels of SOD increased, but as talking time increased the SOD activity started to drop. In contrast to this, there was no statistically significant effect of talking time on the level of salivary albumin, cytochrome c, catalase or uric acid. Results suggest that exposure to electromagnetic radiation may exert an oxidative stress on human cells as evidenced by the increase in the concentration of the superoxide radical anion released in the saliva of cell phone users.  相似文献

This study was carried out to determine the relationships between oxidant/antioxidant status, in vitro LDL oxidizability and LDL-fatty acid composition in diabetes mellitus. Plasma total antioxidant capacity (oxygen radical absorbance capacity, ORAC) and LDL-cholesteryl ester fatty acids were investigated in type 1 and type 2 diabetic subjects with and without complications. The degree of LDL oxidation was determined by the measurement of hydroperoxide levels before and after in vitro peroxidative stress with CuSO4. ORAC values were decreased in diabetic subjects who showed high basal hydroperoxide levels. Oxidizability of LDL in these subjects was higher than in control subjects and it was unrelated to LDL-fatty acid composition. However, in type 2 diabetic subjects with complications, alterations in LDL-fatty acid composition were associated with their enhanced oxidative susceptibility. LDL-fatty acid alterations might be an additional factor that influences LDL oxidizability especially in type 2 diabetes. In conclusion, diabetes mellitus is associated with enhanced oxidative stress and defective antioxidant/oxidant balance regardless the type of diabetes and presence of complications.  相似文献

Chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) is a neoplastic disease susceptible to antioxidant enzyme alterations and oxidative stress. We have examined the activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), and glutathione peroxidase (GPx), and the oxidized/reduced glutathione (GSSG/GSH) ratio together with the levels of malondialdehyde (MDA) and 8-oxo-2'-deoxyguanosine (8-oxo-dG) in lymphocytes of CLL patients and compared them with those of normal subjects of the same age. SOD and CAT activity decreased in CLL lymphocytes while GPx activity increased. GSH content of CLL lymphocytes also increased, and GSSG concentration remained constant. Thus, a reduced GSSG/GSH ratio was obtained. The oxidation product MDA, and the damaged DNA base 8-oxo-dG were also increased in CLL. The observed changes in enzyme activities, GSSG/GSH ratio, and MDA were significantly enhanced as the duration of the disease increased in years. The results support a predominant oxidative stress status in CLL lymphocytes and emphasize the role of the examined parameters as markers of the disease evolution.  相似文献

Background

In recent times there has been some controversy over the impact of electromagnetic radiation on human health. The significance of mobile phone radiation on male reproduction is a key element of this debate since several studies have suggested a relationship between mobile phone use and semen quality. The potential mechanisms involved have not been established, however, human spermatozoa are known to be particularly vulnerable to oxidative stress by virtue of the abundant availability of substrates for free radical attack and the lack of cytoplasmic space to accommodate antioxidant enzymes. Moreover, the induction of oxidative stress in these cells not only perturbs their capacity for fertilization but also contributes to sperm DNA damage. The latter has, in turn, been linked with poor fertility, an increased incidence of miscarriage and morbidity in the offspring, including childhood cancer. In light of these associations, we have analyzed the influence of RF-EMR on the cell biology of human spermatozoa in vitro.

Principal Findings

Purified human spermatozoa were exposed to radio-frequency electromagnetic radiation (RF-EMR) tuned to 1.8 GHz and covering a range of specific absorption rates (SAR) from 0.4 W/kg to 27.5 W/kg. In step with increasing SAR, motility and vitality were significantly reduced after RF-EMR exposure, while the mitochondrial generation of reactive oxygen species and DNA fragmentation were significantly elevated (P<0.001). Furthermore, we also observed highly significant relationships between SAR, the oxidative DNA damage bio-marker, 8-OH-dG, and DNA fragmentation after RF-EMR exposure.

Conclusions

RF-EMR in both the power density and frequency range of mobile phones enhances mitochondrial reactive oxygen species generation by human spermatozoa, decreasing the motility and vitality of these cells while stimulating DNA base adduct formation and, ultimately DNA fragmentation. These findings have clear implications for the safety of extensive mobile phone use by males of reproductive age, potentially affecting both their fertility and the health and wellbeing of their offspring.  相似文献

Preventive and/or therapeutic interventions for ischemic heart disease have gained considerable attention worldwide. We investigated the mechanism(s) underlying cardioprotection of apocynin (APO) and whether it attenuates isoproterenol (ISO)-induced myocardial damage in vivo. Thirty-two male Wistar Albino rats were randomised into four groups (n?=?8 for each group): Group I (Control); Group II (ISO), ISO was given intraperitoneally (ip) (150?mg/kg/d) daily for 2 consecutive days; Group III (APO?+?ISO), APO was applied ip 20?mg/kg 30?min before the first ISO administration and continued for the next 2 d after the second ISO administration; Group IV (ISO?+?APO), after the ISO treatment on days 1 and 2, 20?mg/kg APO was given ip on days 3 and 4. Cardioprotective effects of APO were evaluated by biochemical values, histopathological observations and the antiapoptotic relative proteins. Mean blood pressure, heart rate, and electrocardiography (ECG) were also monitored. Malondialdehyde (MDA), superoxide dismutase (SOD), catalase (CAT), reduced glutathione (GSH), total oxidant status (TOS), total antioxidant capacity (TAC), oxidative stress index (OSI), caspase-3 and connexin 43 levels were determined. Major ECG changes were observed in the ISO-treated rats. MDA, TOS, OSI and creatine kinase levels decreased and SOD, CAT, GSH and TAC levels increased, indicating that APO reduced cardiac injury and oxidative stress compared with controls. APO also decreased the number of cardiomyocytes with pyknotic nuclei, inflammatory cell infiltration, intracytoplasmic vacuolisation and myofibrils. APO provides preventive and therapeutic effects on ISO-induced myocardial injury in rats by inhibiting reactive oxygen species production, blocking inflammation and enhancing antioxidant status.  相似文献

Abstract

In type 1 diabetic subjects, hyperglycemia-induced oxidant stress (OS) plays a central role in the onset and development of diabetes complications. This study aimed to assess the benefits of an endurance training program and insulin therapy, alone or in combination, on the glycemic regulation, markers for OS, and antioxidant system in diabetic rats. Forty male Wistar rats were divided into diabetic (D), insulin-treated diabetic (D-Ins), diabetic trained (D-Tr), or insulin-treated diabetic trained (D-Ins+ Tr) groups. An additional healthy group served as control group. Insulin therapy (Lantus, insulin glargine, Sanofi) and endurance training (a treadmill run of 60 min/day, 25 m/min, 5 days/week) were initiated 1 week after streptozotocin-induced diabetes (45 mg/kg) and lasted for 8 weeks. At the end of the protocol, blood glucose and fructosamine levels, markers for skeletal muscle OS (CML, isoprostanes, GSH/GSSG) and antioxidant system (SOD and GPx activity, ORAC) were assessed. In diabetic rats, the glycemic control was altered and OS marker levels were increased, while the antioxidant system activity remained unchanged. Insulin treatment improved the glycemic regulation, the pro-antioxidant status, and contributed to the reduction of OS marker levels. Endurance training decreased OS marker levels without improving the antioxidant enzyme activity. Endurance training and insulin therapy acted independently (by different ways), but their association prolonged the insulin action and allowed a better adaptation of the antioxidant system. To conclude, our results demonstrate that combination of insulin treatment and endurance training leads to greater benefits on the glycemic regulation and oxidant status.  相似文献

The contribution of (?)-epigallocatechin gallate (EGCg) intake to in vivo antioxidant activity is unclear, even with respect to plasma. In this study, we examined how administration of EGCg contributes to plasma antioxidant activity, relative to its concentration, endogenous antioxidants, and assay methods, namely oxygen radical absorbance capacity (ORAC) and ferric reducing/antioxidant power (FRAP). Administration of EGCg (500?mg/kg) to rats increased plasma EGCg (4μmol/L as free form) and ascorbic acid (1.7-fold), as well as ORAC (1.2-fold) and FRAP (3-fold) values. The increase in plasma ascorbic acid following EGCg administration was accompanied by its relocation from the adrenal glands and lymphocytes into plasma, and was related to the increase in FRAP. Plasma deproteinization and assays in plasma model solutions revealed that protein levels significantly contributed to ORAC values, where <3?μmol/L EGCg in the presence of protein exhibited minimal antioxidant activity, as measured by both FRAP and ORAC. As the concentration of plasma ascorbic acid was not influenced by deproteinization, differences in FRAP values with and without deproteinization were estimated to determine the contribution of enhanced ascorbic acid attributable to EGCg administration. These results will help to understand the points that should be considered when evaluating EGCg antioxidant activity in plasma.  相似文献

Neurodegenerative disorders are frequently associated with increased oxidative damage to the brain as a result of free radicals produced by cellular respiration. The onset and progression of neurodegeneration may therefore be curbed by exogenous hydrogen-donating antioxidant moieties such as the naturally occurring flavonoids. A series of 2-phenylquinolin-4(1H)-ones was synthesised and displayed moderate to high antioxidant activity when compared to structurally related flavones and quinolines. Activity of the hydroxy-2-phenylquinolin-4(1H)-ones (8-10) was established in reducing ferrous ions and diminishing hydrogen peroxide and hydroxyl radical production, in the FRAP (1.41-97.71% Trolox equivalents), ORAC (9.18-15.27 μM Trolox equivalents at 0.00 1mM) and TBARS (0.05-0.72 nmol MDA/mg tissue) assays, respectively. The results indicated that the additional hydrogen donating groups on the synthesised 2-phenylquinolin-4(1H)-one series increased antioxidant activity.  相似文献

Reactive oxygen species (ROS) are implicated in the destruction of the periodontium during periodontitis. The imbalance in oxidant activity may be a key factor. The aim of this paper is to determine whether periodontitis is associated with increased oxidative damage to DNA, lipids, and proteins and modification of total antioxidant capacity (TAC) in saliva. Saliva was collected from 58 periodontitis patients and 234 healthy controls, all nonsmokers. Periodontal disease status was characterized using the Community Periodontal Index of Treatment Needs (CPITN). Assays for 8-OHdG (ELISA), 8-epi-PGF2α (ELISA), and total protein carbonyls (ELISA), and oxy-blotting (Western)/mass spectrometry were performed to quantify oxidative damage to nucleic acids, lipids, total and individual proteins, respectively, in whole nonstimulated saliva. Salivary TAC was measured by inhibition of ABTS oxidation by metmyoglobin. We observed (i) significantly higher levels of 8-OHdG, 8-epi-PGF2α, and carbonylated proteins in saliva of periodontal patients as compared with controls (P = 0.0003, < 0.0001 and < 0.0001); (ii) 8-OHdG, 8-epi-PGF2α, and carbonylated proteins were independently negatively associated with CPITN (P = 0.004, 0.02, and < 0.0001); (iii) a positive correlation between salivary TAC and periodontal disease status in the study group (P < 0.0001); and (iv) specific oxidation of transferrin, human IgG1 heavy chain fragment, and salivary amylase in periodontitis. Periodontal disease is associated with increased oxidative modification of salivary DNA, lipids, and proteins. Augmented salivary total antioxidant capacity may represent an adaptive response to oxidative stress. Salivary amylase, transferrin, and human IgG1 heavy chain fragments are particularly prone to enhanced oxidation in periodontitis.  相似文献

Electromagnetic field exposure to the nervous system can cause neurological changes. The effects of extremely low-frequency electromagnetic fields, such as second-generation and third-generation radiation, have been studied in most studies. The current study aimed to explore fourth-generation cellular phone radiation on hippocampal morphology and behavior in mice. Swiss albino male mice (n = 30) were randomly categorized into 3 groups; control, 40 min, and 60 min exposure to 2400 MHz radiofrequency electromagnetic radiation (RF-EMR) daily for 60 days. The control mice were housed in the same environments but were not exposed to anything. Anxiety-like behaviors were tested using the elevated plus-maze. For histological and stereological examination, the brain was dissected from the cranial cavity. On Cresyl violet stained brain slices, the number of pyramidal neurons in the cornu ammonis of the hippocampus were counted. In exposed mice compared to control mice, a significant increase in anxiety-like behavior has been observed. Histological observations have shown many black and dark blue cytoplasmic cells with shrunken morphology degenerative alterations in the neuronal hippocampus in the radiation exposed mice. In the RF-EMR mouse hippocampus, stereological analyses revealed a significant decrease in pyramidal and granule neurons compared to controls. Our findings suggest that 2400-MHz RF-EMR cell phone radiation affects the structural integrity of the hippocampus, which would lead to behavioral changes such as anxiety. However, it alerts us to the possible long-term detrimental effects of exposure to RF-EMR.  相似文献

In vivo total antioxidant capacity: comparison of different analytical methods   总被引:12,自引:0,他引:12
Several methods have been developed to measure the total antioxidant capacity of a biological sample. The use of peroxyl or hydroxyl radicals as pro-oxidants in the oxygen radical absorbance capacity (ORAC) assay makes it different and unique from the assays that involve oxidants that are not necessarily pro-oxidants. An improvement in quantitation is achieved in the ORAC assay by taking the reaction between substrate and free radicals to completion and using an area-under-curve technique for quantitation compared to the assays that measure a lag phase. The interpretation of the changes in plasma or serum antioxidant capacity becomes complicated by the different methods used in detecting these changes. The interpretation also depends upon the conditions under which the antioxidant capacity is determined because the measurement reflects outcomes in a dynamic system. An increased antioxidant capacity in plasma or serum may not necessarily be a desirable condition if it reflects a response to increased oxidative stress. Similarly, a decrease in plasma or serum antioxidant capacity may not necessarily be an undesirable condition if the measurement reflects decreased production of reactive species. Because of these complications, no single measurement of antioxidant status is going to be sufficient, but a "battery" of measurements, many of which will be described in Forum articles, will be necessary to adequately assess oxidative stress in biological systems.  相似文献

The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of levosimendan (chemical formula C14H12N6O) exposure on oxidant/antioxidant status and trace-element levels in the thoracic aorta of rats. Eighteen male Wistar albino rats were randomly divided into two groups of eight animals each. Group 1 was not exposed to levosimendan and served as a control. Levosimendan (12???g/kg) diluted in 10 ml 0.5?% dextrose was administered intraperitoneally to group 2. Animals of both groups were killed after 3?days, and their thoracic aortae were harvested for determination of changes in tissue oxidant/antioxidant status and trace-element levels. The animals in both groups were killed 72?h after levosimendan exposure, and thoracic aortae were harvested for determination of the lipid peroxidation product MDA and antioxidant GSH levels and the activities of antioxidant enzymes such as SOD, GSH-Px and CAT. It was found that MDA, GSH and CAT enzyme levels increased in thoracic aortae of rats after levosimendan administration. SOD and CA enzyme activities and the level of antioxidant GSH decreased in thoracic aortae of rats after levosimendan treatment. Pb, Cd and Fe levels of thoracic aortae were significantly higher (P?<?0.001) and Mg, Mn, Zn and Cu were significantly lower (P?<?0.001) in the levosimendan group compared to the control group. These results suggest that short-term levosimendan treatment caused an increase in free radical production and a decrease in antioxidant enzyme activity in thoracic aortae of levosimendan-treated rats. It also causes a decrease or increase in many mineral levels of the thoracic aorta, which is an undesirable condition for normal pharmacological function.  相似文献

Abstract

Increasing use of mobile phones in daily life with increasing adverse effects of electromagnetic radiation (EMR), emitted from mobile on some physiological processes, cause many concerns about their effects on human health. Therefore, this work was designed to study the effects of exposure to mobile phone emits 900-MHz EMR on the brain, liver and kidney of male albino rats. Thirty male adult rats were randomly divided into four groups (10 each) as follows: control group (rats without exposure to EMR), exposure group (exposed to 900-MHz EMR for 1?h/d for 60?d) and withdrawal group (exposed to 900-MHz electromagnetic wave for 1?h/d for 60?d then left for 30?d without exposure). EMR emitted from mobile phone led to a significant increase in malondialdehyde (MDA) levels and significant decrease total antioxidant capacity (TAC) levels in brain, liver and kidneys tissues. The sera activity of alanine transaminase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), urea, creatinine and corticosterone were significantly increased (p?<?0.05), while serum catecholamines were insignificantly higher in the exposed rats. These alterations were corrected by withdrawal. In conclusion, electromagnetic field emitting from mobile phone might produce impairments in some biochemicals changes and oxidative stress in brain, liver and renal tissue of albino rats. These alterations were corrected by withdrawal.  相似文献

The role of radical-scavenging antioxidant against oxidative stress has received much attention. The antioxidant capacity has been assessed by various methods. Above all, oxygen radical absorbance capacity (ORAC) has been frequently employed [Prior et.al., J. Agric. Food Chem.2005, 53, 4290]. In the present study, the antioxidant capacity of 2,3-dihydro-5-hydroxy-4,6-di-tert-butyl-2,2-dipentylbenzofuran (BO-653) and uric acid was assessed by ORAC method using pyranine as a reference probe and compared with that against lipid peroxidation of human plasma. It was found that BO-653 was assessed to be much less potent than uric acid by ORAC method, whereas BO-653 exerted much higher antioxidant activity than uric acid against plasma lipid peroxidation. The reason for such discrepancy is discussed. The results suggest that ORAC method is suitable for the assessment of free radical scavenging capacity, but not for the assessment of antioxidant capacity against lipid peroxidation in plasma.  相似文献

Reactive oxygen species (ROS) are an important factor in the development of skin photodamage after ultraviolet A (UVA) radiation. A flavonoid antioxidant, baicalin, can selectively neutralize super-oxide anion (O2?) while having no significant effect on ?OH. Fibroblasts are a key component of skin dermis. In the present study, we investigated the protective effects of baicalin on human skin fibroblasts (HSFs) under UVA induced oxidative stress. Fluorescence microscopy and flow cytometry were used to assay the intracellular O2?, NO, ROS concentrations and the mitochondrial membrane potential. Cell viability was determined using the Cell Counting Kit-8 (CCK-8). The concentrations of cellular MDA, SOD, GSH, T-AOC, and 8-oxo-dG were also measured. Cellular apoptosis was measured by flow cytometry and caspase-3 detection. The results revealed that UVA radiation could cause oxidative stress and apoptosis in HSFs. Interestingly, the use of baicalin after UVA radiation signi?cantly reduced the level of intracellular O2?, NO, and ROS, stabilized the mitochondrial membrane potential, and attenuated production of MDA and 8-oxo-dG. These ef?ciently enhanced the antioxidative defense system and protected the HSFs from subsequent oxidative stress damage and apoptosis. In other words, baicalin decreased the excessive generation of intracellular ROS and NO, and elevated the cellular antioxidative defense, which eventually mitigate the UVA-induced apoptosis. Based on our results, baicalin may have applications in the treatment of skin photodamage caused by UVA irradiation.  相似文献

The role of selenium exposure in preventing chronic disease is controversial, especially in selenium-repleted populations. At high concentrations, selenium exposure may increase oxidative stress. Studies evaluating the interaction of genetic variation in genes involved in oxidative stress pathways and selenium are scarce. We evaluated the cross-sectional association of plasma selenium concentrations with oxidative stress levels, measured as oxidized to reduced glutathione ratio (GSSG/GSH), malondialdehyde (MDA), and 8-oxo-7,8-dihydroguanine (8-oxo-dG) in urine, and the interacting role of genetic variation in oxidative stress candidate genes, in a representative sample of 1445 men and women aged 18–85 years from Spain. The geometric mean of plasma selenium levels in the study sample was 84.76 µg/L. In fully adjusted models the geometric mean ratios for oxidative stress biomarker levels comparing the highest to the lowest quintiles of plasma selenium levels were 0.61 (0.50–0.76) for GSSG/GSH, 0.89 (0.79–1.00) for MDA, and 1.06 (0.96–1.18) for 8-oxo-dG. We observed nonlinear dose–responses of selenium exposure and oxidative stress biomarkers, with plasma selenium concentrations above ~110 μg/L being positively associated with 8-oxo-dG, but inversely associated with GSSG/GSH and MDA. In addition, we identified potential risk genotypes associated with increased levels of oxidative stress markers with high selenium levels. Our findings support that high selenium levels increase oxidative stress in some biological processes. More studies are needed to disentangle the complexity of selenium biology and the relevance of potential gene–selenium interactions in relation to health outcomes in human populations.  相似文献

The main objective of the study has been to show whether carnosine has positive effects on liver and lung tissues of rats exposed to a range of formaldehyde concentrations, and to explore how irisin expression and antioxidant capacity are altered in these tissues by carnosine supplementation. Sprague-Dawley type male rats were divided into 8 groups with 6 animals in each: (I) Control; no chemical supplementation); (II) sham (100 mg/kg/day carnosine); (III) low dose formaldehyde (LDFA) for 5 days/week; (IV) LDFA for 5 days/week and carnosine); (V) moderate dose formaldehyde (MDFA) for 5 days/week); (VI) MDFA for 5 days/week and carnosine; (VII) high dose formaldehyde (HDFA) for 5 days/week; (VIII) and HDFA for 5 days/week and carnosine. Sham and control groups were exposed to normal air. Irisin levels of the serum, liver and lung tissue supernatants were analyzed by ELISA, while the REL method was used to determine total oxidant/antioxidant capacity. Irisin production by the tissues was detected immunohistochemically. Increasing doses of FA decreased serum/tissue irisin and total antioxidant levels relative to the controls, as also to increases in TUNEL expressions, total oxidant level, oxidant and apoptosis index. Irisin expression was detected in hepatocyte and sinusoidal cells of the liver and parenchymal cells of the lung. In conclusion, while FA exposure reduces irisin and total oxidant in the serum, liver and lung tissues in a dose-dependent manner and increases the total antioxidant capacity, carnosine supplementation reduces the oxidative stress and restores the histopathological and biochemical signs.  相似文献

An oxidant/antioxidant imbalance is thought to play an important role in the pathogenesis of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). We hypothesized that antioxidant capacity reflected by erythrocyte glutathione peroxidase (GPx), superoxide dismutase (SOD) and catalase (CAT) activities, and serum levels of the lipid peroxidation product malondialdehyde (MDA), may be related to the severity of obstructive lung impairment in patients with COPD. Erythrocyte GPx, SOD and CAT activities, and serum levels of MDA were measured in 79 consecutive patients with stable COPD. Pulmonary functional tests were assessed by body plethysmography. Moderate COPD (FEV1 50-80%) was present in 23, and severe COPD (FEV1 < 50%) in 56 patients. Erythrocyte GPx activity was significantly lower, and serum MDA levels were significantly higher in patients with severe COPD compared to patients with moderate COPD (GPx: 43.1+/-1.5 vs. 47.7+/-2.9 U/gHb, p<0.05, MDA: 2.4+/-0.1 vs. 2.1+/-0.1 nmol/ml, p<0.05). Linear regression analysis revealed a significant direct relationship between FEV1 and erythrocyte GPx activity (r = 0.234, p<0.05), and a significant inverse relationship between FEV1 and serum MDA levels (r = -0.239, p<0.05). However, no differences were observed in the erythrocyte SOD and CAT activities between the two groups of patients with different severity of COPD. Findings of the present study suggest that antioxidant capacity reflected by erythrocyte GPx activity and serum levels of the lipid peroxidation product MDA are linked to the severity of COPD.  相似文献
