It was demonstrated in chronic experiments on cats that stimulation of certain midbrain regions decreased or fully depressed the pain reaction evoked by dental pulp stimulation. The antinociceptive effect depending on the parameters of the brain stimulation was shown in differential change of the separate motor and vegetative and emotional - behaviour components, forming a general pain reaction. A poststimulation analgesia was revealed and the dynamic of restoration of different pain manifestations after the cessation of brain stimulation was traced. Possible mechanism of the realization of the antinociceptive effect are discussed.  相似文献

The influence of brain electrical stimulation, which induced some elements of agonistic behavior, on the preference of an animal of one of two compartments of the experimental chamber was studied in 7 male cats with implanted hypothalamic electrodes. The animals avoided the compartment in which they were stimulated. Self-stimulation reaction could not be formed on the basis of the electrical brain stimulation inducing certain elements of agonistic behavior. Passage latencies were shorter when an animal left the less preferential compartment that in the case when in started from the more preferential one. The obtained evidence suggests that hypothalamic stimulation producing certain elements of agonistic behavior evokes in an animal a negative internal state.  相似文献

In experiments on rats with implanted electrode-cannules there were studied the effects of L-tryptophane (25 mg/kg intraperitoneally) and microinjections of serotonin (20 micrograms), dopamine (10 micrograms) and proserine (5 micrograms) into the area of periaqueductal central gray on the antinociceptive effect caused by stimulation of the same "points" of the midbrain. L-tryptophane, serotonine and proserine (in the presence of methylatropine) potentiated the effect of subthreshold antinociceptive stimulation which could be tested from the modifications of thresholds of the development of some complex pain reaction components under electrical stimulation of the rat tail. Dopamine did not have such an effect. The potentiating effect of serotonine is not eliminated by naloxone.  相似文献

The content of 11-hydroxycorticosteroids, free and bound hydroxyproline in the peripheral blood, as well as the level of free and net hydroxyproline in the aortic wall and myocardium of rabbits were studied in chronic prolonged electrical stimulation of the mesencephalon reticular system. The experiments have shown that electrical stimulation leads to the activation of adrenal cortex function and is accompanied by alterations in collagen metabolism, accumulation of collagen in the aorta and decreased collagen level in the myocardium.  相似文献

In experiments on 16 male albino rats a phenomenon of self-stimulation of the hypothalamic structures has been produced by a DC anode and cathode, with 20 to 100 microamperes intensity. DC self-stimulation consists in regular succession of approaching the pedal, staying on the pedal and leaving it, i. e. a succession of states of motivational drive, reinforcement and avoidance. In a number of cases the conditioned reflex of self-stimulation is not extinguished for two to three days after switching off the current.  相似文献

Changes in the arterial pressure, in the heart and respiratory rate evoked by the gastrocnemuis nerve stimulation were studied on conscious cats before and during intravenous injection of noradrenaline. Stimulation of the gastrocnemius nerve increased the arterial pressure, the heart and respiratory rates. The same stimulation of the nerve during hypertension caused by noradrenaline injection led to the fall of arterial pressure and tachycardia. The depressor response failed to change under the effect of the beta-adrenoreceptor block and disappeared after the m-cholinoreceptor block with methylatropine. The depressor response was absent in the unanesthetized decerebrated cats. It is supposed that the depressor response of the arterial pressure depended on the strong cholinergic vasodilatation, reflexively evoked by stimulation of the motor nerve in the intact cats.  相似文献

At 8 healthy examinees-volunteers of 22-25 years the functional effects of super-threshold (above 1.2 T) and subthreshold (70-80% of a motor threshold) rTMS of premotor cortexes medial departments were compared. Functional brain activity changes were estimated (before and 1 hour after stimulation) by comparing data including neuropsychological testing, visual and spectral-coherent EEG-analysis, and also haemodynamic parameters. The number of the work's problem included selection of activating orientated stimulation's frequency, and also specification objective EEG--criteria of efficiency rTMS. It is established the effect of EEG-analysis during different frequency photostimulation for a choice of activating rTMS. The received results reveal EEG-coherence as one of the most informative characteristics of cerebral neuro-dynamics under rTMS-influence. Dependence of stimulation's functional effects (activated or brake character) from initial level of the intercentral coherent communications is noted. It is revealed that rTMS of the healthy examinees causes certain changes of functional activity of a brain, distinct from placebo-effects. rTMS-effect dependent on intensity (super--or sub-threshold), and also from features of an initial intercentral rations. More expressed functional changes are observed in the left hemisphere. It is shown big by reactance of the left hemisphere on this influence. In formation of brain responses on rTMS the active role of the vascular factor is shown.  相似文献

In experiments on cats with chronically implanted electrodes a conditioned stimulus (200 c/s tone) was paired with electrical stimulation of limbic structures, which produces pronounced emotional behaviour: defensive, aggressive, alimentary or drinking reactions. It has been shown that conditioned reactions are not elaborated on the basis of electrical stimulation, which activates alimentary, drinking or aggressive behaviour. Neither is a conditioned reflex formed to the combination of sound and stimulation of the brain structures, which inhibits alimentary behaviour. A distinct conditioned fear reaction sets in as a result of combination of sound and electrical stimulation of brain structures, which evoke defensive behaviour. The data obtained are analyzed in the light of the significance of natural requirements of the organism for the elaboration of conditioned reflexes.  相似文献

Response was investigated in 47 rabbit visual cortex neurons to direct intracortical electrical stimulation consisting of single biphasic pulses of increasing intensities within the 150–2,700 µA range. Minimum level for generating all components of response to electrical stimulation remained similar from one neuron to the next, ranging between 150 and 600 µA. Three different patterns of dependence between numbers of spikes at different stages of response and current amplitude were identified: stable, gradual and selective patterns. Percentages of stable dependences were lower for after-discharges in comparison with initial firing (at 11 and 26% respectively) and the proportion of selective dependences were somewhat higher (at 32 and 21%). The selective dependence observed could imply the existence of optimum current levels at which peak neuronal response occurs. At the same time, duration of inhibitory pauses lengthened uniformly in the response of all test neurons during increasing intensity of the electrical stimuli. Emotional reactions evoked by electric stimulation of the hypothalamus and amygdala were studied in white outbred rats, grown either in conditions of isolation or in community. The method of self-stimulation in shuttle box was used. The values of self-stimulation reaction were significantly lower and those of avoidance reactions were higher in animals bred in isolation. Their food-procuring behaviour disappeared faster at stimulation of the negative emotiogenic zones. The observed differences are due to plastic reorganization of the brain reinforcing systems.  相似文献
