A new species of Cumacea belonging to the genus Lamprops Sars was collected from the East Sea of Korea. This new species resembles Lamprops
comatus Zimmer, Lamprops
carinatus Hart, Lamprops
flavus Harada, Lamprops
pumilio Zimmer, Lamprops
tomalesi Gladfelter, and Lamprops
obfuscatus (Gladfelter) in lacking lateral oblique ridges on the carapace and lateral setae on the telson. The new species, however, is distinguished from its congeners by having a dorsal concave groove and a lateral rounded depressed area on pereonite 2. The new species is fully illustrated and compared with related species. A key to the world Lamprops species lacking lateral ridges on the carapace is also provided. 相似文献

A new species, Chaerilus
pseudoconchiformus
sp. n., is described from Xizang, China. The present new species is distinguished from its congeners by a body length of 32−40 mm, carapace with the anterior margin straight, chela with length/width ratio average of 3.3 in males (3.2−3.4, two adults), and 2.5 in females (2.3−2.6, nine adults), eight or nine (eight usually) rows of denticles on fixed and movable fingers of pedipalp chelae, five pectinal teeth in males and three or four in females. To date, the chaerilid species fauna of China consists of nine species. An updated identification key to Chaerilus from China is presented. 相似文献

A number of stylasterid corals are known to act as host species and create refuges for a variety of mobile and sessile organisms, which enhances their habitat complexity. These include annelids, anthozoans, cirripeds, copepods, cyanobacteria, echinoderms, gastropods, hydroids and sponges. Here we report the first evidence of a diverse association between stylasterids and scalpellid pedunculate barnacles and describe a new stylasterid species, Errina
labrosa, from the Tristan da Cunha Archipelago. Overall, five stylasterid species are found to host eight scalpellid barnacles from several biogeographic regions in the southern hemisphere (Southern Ocean, temperate South America and the southern Indo-Pacific realms). There is an apparent lack of specificity in this kind of association and different grades of reaction to the symbiosis have been observed in the coral. These records suggest that the association between pedunculate barnacles and hard stylasterid corals has a wide distribution among different biogeographic realms and that it is relatively rare and confined largely to deep water. 相似文献

A new species of paracalanid calanoid copepod Parvocalanus
leei
sp. n., is described from specimens collected in shallow waters of Western Korea. The new species is closely similar to Parvocalanus
arabiensis (Kesarkar & Anil, 2010), Parvocalanus
crassirostris (F. Dahl, 1894), Parvocalanus
latus Andronov, 1972, and Parvocalanus
scotti (Früchtl, 1923) in having two short terminal spines on the distal segment of the fifth leg and a similar rostrum in the female, but can be readily distinguished from its congeners by the body size, relative length of antennules, segmentation of endopod of leg 1, and pattern of ornamentation of spinules on legs 1 to 4 in the female. The taxonomic position of Parvocalanus
arabiensis and the validity of the genus Parvocalanus Andronov, 1970 are also discussed. 相似文献

Lithobius (Monotarsobius) zhangi
sp. n. (Lithobiomorpha: Lithobiidae), recently discovered from Nanshan Park, Yantai City, Shandong Province, and Wuyishan County, Nanping City, Fujian Province, from China, is described. Morphologically it resembles Lithobius (Monotarsobius) songi Pei, Ma, Shi, Wu, Zhou, 2011 from Province Hebei, China, but can be readily distinguished from the latter by antennae composed of 15+15–19+19 articles versus 19+19–21+21 articles, terminal claw of female gonopods inner tooth broader than the outer vs dorsal and ventral tooth about same in size, ventral plectrotaxy 01320, dorsal plectrotaxy 10210 in the 14th legs, 01210 and 10200 respectively in Lithobius (Monotarsobius) songi. A key to the Lithobius (Monotarsobius) species of China and Korea is presented. 相似文献

Exosphaeroma
amplicauda (Stimpson, 1857) from the west coast of North America is reviewed and redescribed and revealed to be a group of closely related species. A neotype is designated and the species redescribed based on the neotype and topotypic specimens. Exosphaeroma
amplicauda is known only from the coast of California, at Marin, Sonoma and San Mateo Counties. Exosphaeroma
aphrodita (Boone, 1923), type locality La Jolla, California and previously considered nomen dubium is taken out of synonymy and re-validated. A further three species: Exosphaeroma
paydenae
sp. n., Exosphaeroma
russellhansoni
sp. n., and Exosphaeroma
pentcheffi
sp. n. are described herein. Sphaeroma
octonctum Richardson, 1899 is placed into junior synonymy with Exosphaeroma
amplicauda. A key to the Pacific West Coast Exosphaeroma is provided. 相似文献

There are four species of Gymnetron in China recorded to date including Gymnetron
miyoshii Miyoshi, 1922, Gymnetron
villosipenne Roelofs, 1875, Gymnetron
auliense Reitter, 1907 and Gymnetron
vittipenne Marseul, 1876, of which the last two are new country records. The pre-imaginal stages including eggs, mature larvae and pupae of Gymnetron
miyoshii, Gymnetron
auliense and Gymnetron
vittipenne are described and illustrated. In addition, their diagnostic characters (larvae and pupae) are discussed and differentiated, and notes on some of their biological parameters are provided. Potential ecological impacts between Gymnetron weevils and their host Veronica spp. also are provided. 相似文献

Biological information on the species of the large carpenter bee Xylocopa
subgenus
Schonnherria occurring in Argentina is revised. Based on the appraisal of museum specimens, the study of type material, and field surveys conducted across 15 provinces between 2007 and 2011, the following seven species are recognized for the country: Xylocopa
bambusae Schrottky, Xylocopa
chrysopoda Schrottky, Xylocopa
macrops Lepeletier de Saint Fargeau, Xylocopa
simillima Smith Xylocopa
splendidula Lepeletier de Saint Fargeau, Xylocopa
pulchra Smith, and Xylocopa
viridis Smith. Previous literature records of Xylocopa
dimidiata Latreille, Xylocopa
subcyanea Pérez, and Xylocopa
varians Smith for the province of Misiones appear to have been misidentified specimens, although the presence of these species in Argentina cannot be entirely ruled out given the proximity of this province to Brazil and Paraguay where they occur; Xylocopa
boops Maidl was described from a male specimen with unusually enlarged eyes and is newly synonymized under Xylocopa
macrops. Males and females of all species are diagnosed, described, and figured, including details of the male genitalia. Taxonomic comments, data on the geographical distribution and nesting substrates, and identification keys to all Argentinean species of Schonnherria are provided. The nesting biologies of Xylocopa
splendidula and Xylocopa
viridis are documented. 相似文献

The new species Telamoptilia
grewiae, reared from leafmines on Grewia
biloba (Malvaceae) is described with details on adult and immature stages. The larval head and the pupa are described for the first time in Telamoptilia Kumata & Kuroko, 1988, and are illustrated with scanning electron micrographs and line drawings. Photographs of adult habitus, wing venation, male and female genitalia, as well as host plant and mines are provided. The apomorphic adult and larval characters of the new species in Telamoptilia are discussed in relation to the recognition of the genera Telamoptilia and Spulerina Vári, 1961. 相似文献
