Two new species of the genus Dolichopus Latreille (Diptera, Dolichopodidae) are described from Mongolia and Siberia. Dolichopus tschernovi Negrobov, Barkalov et Selivanova, sp. n. is similar to Dolichopus bayaticus Negrobov, 1976, but differs in the presence of one seta on the hind metatarsus, the shorter 3rd antennal segment, and in the structure of the hypopygium. Dolichopus lenensis Negrobov, Barkalov et Selivanova, sp. n. resembles Dolichopus setitarsis Negrobov et Barkalov, 1977, but differs in the slightly widened 2nd–4th segments of the middle tarsus, in the presence of one seta on the hind metatarsus, and in the structure of the hypopygium. Drawings of the antennae, tarsi, and hypopygium of the new species are given. The holotypes of the new species are deposited in the Zoological Institute, the Russian Academy of Sciences (St. Petersburg).  相似文献

Three new species of the genus Dolichopus Latr. (Diptera, Dolichopodidae) are described. All these species are closely related to Dolichopus signifer Haliday, 1832 and form a species-group including this species. Dolichopus taimyricus sp. n. is described from the southern tundra of the Taimyr Peninsula (northern Central Siberia); D. zlobini sp. n. was collected in the Pamirs (Tajikistan) and D. asymmetricus sp. n., in the mountains of Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. Conflicting hypotheses in phylogenetics and systematics, generated by different data sets (e.g. morphological versus molecular), are common in biology. The clarification of such instances may allow understanding general mechanisms involved in the speciation process in an evolutionary light. Here, we present and discuss the case of the Dolichopus plumipes species group in the long‐legged flies, Dolichopodidae. A phylogenetic survey was performed based on both morphological and molecular data. The full data set comprises 31 morphological characters and 2252 molecular characters (mitochondrial – COI: 810; 12S: 343; 16S: 514; nuclear – ITS2: 585) of 49 different species, represented by 82 specimens. The molecular phylogenetic analysis revealed a clade (composed by the species D. plumipes, Dolichopus wahlbergi, Dolichopus polleti, Dolichopus simplex, and Dolichopus nigricornis) that disagrees with the traditional morphological view based on external characters. In particular, specimens of the species D. plumipes and D. simplex were indistinguishable with the molecular markers used here. Yet, we still consider D. plumipes and D. simplex as two distinct taxa and provide explanatory hypotheses on the evolutionary background. The conspicuous male secondary sexual characters (present in plumipes but not in simplex) are key factors in sexual selection and their presumably rapid reduction in D. simplex is thought to be of main importance for the explanation of the speciation process. The plumipessimplex case may therefore be viewed as a paradigmatic illustration showing that a better integration of the molecular and morphological approaches is needed to understand and clarify the, in some cases, complex systematics and phylogeny of organisms.  相似文献

The composition of the Dolichopodid fauna was studied at various sites within nymphaeid stands during one growth season in an oxbow lake with the aid of adhesive traps; additional observations were made by means of hand-net collecting at various localities within nymphaeid stands. The first method gave the best results.

With this method the species composition, diversity, spatial and temporal distribution of the Dolichopodid fauna within nymphaeid stands could be described.

Nine species appeared to be common, viz. )in order of decreasing numbers( Hydrophorus praecox )Lehm.(, Dolichopus latilimbatus Mcq.1(, Campsicnemus picticornis )Zett.(, Rhaphium antennatum )Carl.(, Dolichopus nubilus Mg., Hydrophorus litoreus Fall., Campsicnemus pectinulatus Lw., Campsicnemus lumbatus Lw. and Rhaphium elegantulum )Mg.(. With respect to the spatial distribution within the nymphaeid zone both Hydrophorus species were found in large numbers on sites bordering on the open water, while the largest numbers of all other species mentioned above were caught on sites near the helophyte zone. A distinct succession of Dolichopodid species with respect to their numbers could be observed during the growth season on the floating leaves in the sequence Hydrophorus, Campsicnemus, Rhaphium and Dolichopus spp.

The reasons for these distribution patterns are discussed on the basis of what is known of the ecology and behaviour of the various species.  相似文献

2006年5—9月,在内蒙古鄂温克族自治旗(典型草原)、内蒙古科尔沁左翼后旗(沙地草原)和吉林省长岭县(草甸草原)3种放牧草地中,采用陷阱法和野外牛粪解剖手捡法采集牛粪中的金龟子,共采集金龟子75981头,分属9科43种。对其进行多样性分析,结果表明:长岭和鄂温克族自治旗牛粪生境中的优势种均是黄缘蜉金龟Aphodius sublimbatus(Motschulsky)(分别占各自生境捕获个体数的88.188%和93.547%),科尔沁左翼后旗的优势种为双顶嗡蜣螂Onthophagus bivertex Heyden(67.067%)、小蜉金龟Aphodius pusillus(Herbst)(14.524%)和独角凯蜣螂Caccobius unicornis(Fabricius)(10.264%)。科尔沁左翼后旗牛粪中金龟子的Simpson指数、Shannon-Wiener指数和均匀度指数在3种草地中均最高,长岭次之,鄂温克族自治旗最低。3种草地牛粪中金龟子的物种数与其丰富度相一致:长岭>科尔沁左翼后旗>鄂温克族自治旗。Sorenson群落相似性系数在0.458—0.578之间。  相似文献

An identification key to 29 valid species of Hoplolaimus is given. A compendium of the most important diagnostic characters for use in identification of species is included as a practical alternative and supplement to the key. Diagnosis of Hoplolaimus is emended and lists of species of the genus, their synonymies, species inquirendae, nomina nuda, and species transferred to other genera are given. About 50 species of the genus Fenestella from the Lower Carboniferous of the East European platform are revised. They are shown to belong to the following seven genera: Fenestella, Rectifenestella, Laxifenestella, Exfenestella, Fabifenestella, Alternifenestella, and Ignotifenestella. Diagnoses of the three latter genera are given and 11 species are described, including type species, one of which, A. substricta sp. nov., is new. P. hyderabadensis Singh &Gill, 1986 is synonymized with P. dasi Fortuner, 1985. P. hexincisus Taylor &Jenkins, 1957 is confirmed as occasionally having 4 -6 lines in lateral field (instead of 6 only). An identification key to 111 species of Tylenchorhynchus is given. Tylenchorhynchus is defined as containing only those species with four incisures in the lateral field. A compendium providing the most important diagnostic characters for use in identification of species is included as a supplement to the key. Some species in a related but unnecessary genus were placed in the genus Tylenchorhynchus, based on morphological structures and logical groupings of the species. Bitylenchus iphilus is transferred to Tylenchorhynchus. The diagnosis of Tylenchorhynchus is emended, and a list of all the valid species of the genus is given. The characters most useful for separating species are the stylet length, shape of lip region, number of lip annules, shape of tail and tail terminus, number of tail annules, and position of vulva (V%).
