Spectrum and coherent EEG analysis has been made at 109 pregnant women during 35-36 weeks of gestation. It has been shown, that functional interhemispherical asymmetry of the brain is the sensible parameter of normal and complicated gestation. It has been found out that as for normal pregnancy prevailing activation in central and temple areas of the brain contralateral to the side of placenta placement in uterus is characteristic. The development of gestation complications accompanied by the inversion of interhemispherical asymmetry of EEG activation. It was pointed out that correlative relations of bioelectrical activity of the brain in women with normal gestation are the indicator of dominating of nervous centers of left hemisphere in the integrational process.  相似文献

The experiments on rats have shown that the effect of millimeter range electromagnetic radiation on the bioelectric brain activity is dependent on the initial functional state of central nervous system. Microwaves are able to cause a nonspecific electroencephalographic reaction of synchronization and probably the lower the bioelectric brain process dynamics of active rats. Enrichment of electrocorticograms with high-frequency rhythms and increase in degree of bioelectric brain dynamics can be observed in narcosis conditions. The appearance of biological resonance in the brain of narcotized rats preliminary injected aminazin by pulse-modulated microwaves is noted. This is expressed as epileptiform convulsive activity in electrocorticogram. It has been shown that the nonlinear dynamics method may provide a reliable characterization of changing bioelectric brain activity under of nonionized electromagnetic fields. It is possible to modulate the bioelectric brain activity by microwaves to change the functional state of central nervous system and probably of the whole organism.  相似文献

The analysis of EEG wave intensity index has been used for comparative assessment of specific changes in brain activity in the cases of chronic ethanol or drug (heroin, opium) abuse, exposure to toxic agents (volatile organic compounds, household chemistry), polydrug use, and nonchemical (Internet) dependence. These data may be relevant to the problem of general and specific mechanisms of influence of various addiction risk factors on neurophysiological and neurochemical processes.  相似文献

The dynamics of the main electroencephalographic patterns and their relationship with natural illumination periods have been described in this study. We have determined periods, which are the most favorable for brain functioning and development of cognitive function in northerner schoolchildren. We have found that adaptive changes in bioelectric activity of the brain take place during transitional seasons. An increase in the activity of all EEG rhythms in spring and predominance of the slow-wave Δ and θ activity in autumn have been found. The discovered dynamics of amplitude and spectral parameters of EEG are not dependent on age-related changes. The formation of bioelectric activity of the brain in northerner schoolchildren was mostly affected by the sex of a child and changes in the daytime duration.  相似文献

Plasma levels of thromboxane B2 (TXB2) and 6-keto-prostaglandin F1 alpha (6-keto-PGF1 alpha), stable metabolites of two prostanoids with opposing biological effects, TXA2 and prostacyclin, were measured by radioimmunoassay in normal pregnancy (controls) and pregnancy complicated by hypertension (PIH) from 32 to 36 (Period 1; P1) and from 36 to 40 (Period 2; P2) weeks of gestation. The plasma concentration of each compound in the control subjects was 265.6 +/- 58.4 (TXB2), 132.4 +/- 16.5 (6-keto-PGF1 alpha) for P1 (n = 10) and 142.6 +/- 11.8 (TXB2), 68.5 +/- 5.2 (6-keto-PGF1 alpha) for P2 (n = 10) respectively (pg/ml, mean +/- s.e). In the patients with PIH, TXB2 concentrations increased moderately for P1 (419.2 +/- 21.2; n = 7) and significantly (p less than 0.005) for P2 (452.8 +/- 31.0; n = 7) respectively (pg/ml, mean +/- s.e), while the plasma levels of 6-keto-PGF1 alpha revealed a slight to moderate decrease both for P1 (84.5 +/- 4.0; n = 7) and P2 (59.7 +/- 8.1; n = 7) respectively (pg/ml, mean +/- s.e). The physiological balance of TXB2 to 6-keto-PGF1 alpha was significantly greater (p less than 0.005) in the patients with PIH, where the TXB2/6-keto-PGF1 alpha ratio was 5.2 +/- 0.7 for P1 and 9.4 +/- 2.3 for P2 respectively (mean +/- s.e) compared with that of the controls, where it was 2.4 +/- 0.4 for P1 and 2.0 +/- 0.2 for P2 respectively (mean +/- s.e).(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)  相似文献

The influence of nomifensine on bioelectrical activity of sensorimotor cortex, dorsal hippocamp and lateral hypothalamus in conscious rats in free behavior was studied. The pharmacological and EEG analysis of nomifensine action on EEG power spectra by Fourier technique was measured. It was established that nomifensine evoked an increase and stabilization of the dominant peak in EEG spectra in the left and right cortex and in the left hippocamp, while in the other ranges of frequency a decrease was observed. The effects on hypothalamus was opposite--EEG power spectra decreased in all the ranges. The authors conclude that nomifensine evokes higher level of wakefulness, vigilance of the animals. This is likely to underlie neurophysiological mechanisms of optimal behavior due to stimulants of CNS, including nomifensine.  相似文献

The influence of midantan in bioelectrical activity of sensomotor cortex, dorsal hippocampus and lateral hypothalamus in the rats in free behavior in wakefulness condition was studied.
