Quantitative samples of the macrobenthos were collected in May, July, and October–November from 2000 to 2002 in Vostok Bay, Sea of Japan. The main characteristics of the subtidal macrobenthos communities are described. The present study shows that the rocky bottom communities of Vostok Bay have changed little over the past 30 years. Changes have occurred in the structure of soft bottom communities and phytocenoses. Assessing the net effect of anthropogenic disturbance on aquatic communities in wetlands: community structure relative to distance from canals 总被引:1,自引:1,他引:0
Anthropogenic alterations of natural hydrology are common in wetlands and often increase water permanence, converting ephemeral
habitats into permanent ones. Since aquatic organisms segregate strongly along hydroperiod gradients, added water permanence
caused by canals can dramatically change the structure of aquatic communities. We examined the impact of canals on the abundance
and structure of wetland communities in South Florida, USA. We sampled fishes and macroinvertebrates from marsh transects
originating at canals in the central and southern Everglades. Density of all aquatic organisms sampled increased in the immediate
proximity of canals, but was accompanied by few compositional changes based on analysis of relative abundance. Large fish
( >8 cm), small fish ( <8 cm) and macroinvertebrates ( >5 mm) increased in density within 5 m of canals. This pattern was
most pronounced in the dry season, suggesting that canals may serve as dry-down refugia. Increases in aquatic animal density
closely matched gradients of phosphorus enrichment that decreased with distance from canals. Thus, the most apparent impact
of canals on adjacent marsh communities was as conduits for nutrients that stimulated local productivity; any impact of their
role as sources of increased sources of predators was not apparent. The effect of predation close to canals was overcompensated
by increased secondary productivity and/or immigration toward areas adjacent to canals in the dry season. Alternatively, the
consumptive effect of predatory fishes using canals as dry-season refuges is very small or spread over the expanse of marshes
with open access to canals.

A new species of isopods of the suborder Gnathiidae, Gnathia gurjanovae sp. n. has been described from Peter the Great Bay, Sea of Japan. The new species is most similar to G. derzhavini Gurjanova, 1933, but differs from the latter in a series of morphological characteristics of the male: frontal margin of the head bears a well-pronounced mediofrontal process; each mandible has an unarmed carina and an obscure tooth; pereopod 6 is relatively smooth; the basis, ischium, and merus of pereopod 4 bear strong spurlike processes. 相似文献

Changes in the oligochaete community of the Neva Mouth for the period 1982–1993 are discussed in relation to anthropogenic impacts. A number of community parameters such as species composition, biomass and diversity were generally stable, although local changes were noted. Predominance of eutrophic species, i.e. L. hoffmeisteri, T. tubifex, P. hammoniensis was enhanced, whereas mesotrophic and oligotrophic species — L. isoporus, S. heringianus, T. newaensis disappeared or became less numerous at some stations. The reverse trend was observed at other stations. These phenomena were accompanied by a sharp increase in the variability of biomass and/or diversity, which is regarded as exceeding normal annual fluctuations. The oligochaete community is recognized as a promising indicator of the ecological situation in the Neva Mouth. 相似文献

The species composition and seasonal dynamics of density and biomass of euglenoids in the plankton of Peter the Great Bay were examined. Ten species of euglenoids were found. Of these, Eutreptiella braarudiiThrondsen and Eutreptiella eupharyngeaMoestrup et Norris are new records for the Far Eastern seas of Russia. Sharply pronounced peaks of euglenoid density and biomass occurred in the spring and summer. Increased density and biomass of species of the genera EuglenaEhr. and EutreptiaPerty were observed in polluted waters near sewage outlets. 相似文献

Rocky shores provide a harsh environment for marine organisms andwe briefly discuss natural sources of variation in community structure beforeconsidering anthropogenic impacts in detail. We review impacts caused by (a) acutedisturbances: oil spills, toxic algal blooms and (b) chronic disturbances: nutrient pollution,oil, heavy metals, pesticides, antifouling paints, collecting, trampling/habitatdegradation, siltation and introduced species. Community level effects are emphasisedthroughout and illustrative examples are drawn from field-based case studies. Particularattention is given to the lessons learned from oil spills and the effect of chronicpollution by tributyltin on dogwhelks, the impacts of which ranged from the biochemical tocommunity levels of organisation. Impacts are placed in a global and historicalperspective and the potential for the recovery of shores under appropriate management isdiscussed. Finally we consider the relative merits of the multivariate and univariateapproaches to studying impacted communities and suggest priorities for future research. 相似文献

以乌海市四合木(Tetraena mongolica Maxim)为研究对象,利用2009年Quickbird高分辨率影像,结合四合木群落野外调查数据,对乌海市四合木分布区在不同人为干扰强度下的景观格局和群落进行研究。结果表明:人为干扰越强烈,四合木生境破碎化程度越严重。在植株生理年龄相近,生境相同时,四合木的高度、冠幅以及重要值随人为干扰加剧,变化趋势明显。受人为干扰程度越强地区,其物种丰富度指数越小,生物多样性越低。干扰强度发生变化时,Pielou均匀度指数均在0.77—0.90间。 相似文献

作为高原旗舰物种, 黑颈鹤(Grus nigricolli)是反映高原生态健康状况的重要参考。为了解黑颈鹤如何在多因素作用下适应人类改造过的栖息地环境, 本研究利用遥感解译、最近邻分析与随机森林模型对繁殖于甘肃盐池湾国家级自然保护区党河湿地的黑颈鹤的筑巢栖息地偏好及人为干扰进行研究。2019年和2020年每年的4-9月在党河湿地内对巢位点等数据进行收集。研究结果表明: 党河湿地内巢址与人为干扰的分布位置明显不同, 两者的主要分布区呈现镶嵌状。距深水沼泽距离、距浅水沼泽距离与距湖泊距离是影响黑颈鹤筑巢栖息地选择最关键的3个环境因子。黑颈鹤筑巢时偏好在距离深水沼泽< 125 m、距离浅水沼泽< 130 m、距离湖泊< 270 m的区域内筑巢。黑颈鹤对沼泽、湖泊等资源的偏好是其巢址分布格局的主要驱动力, 而房屋与公路等人为干扰对栖息地选择的影响很小。黑颈鹤筑巢时强烈偏好的栖息地在湿地内占比低、分布聚集且适宜范围有限, 繁殖区域较狭窄。黑颈鹤巢址间距离的上升表明黑颈鹤栖息地质量可能有所下降, 牲畜数量的增长、冬季牧场的多季节利用以及气候变化可能是主要原因。建议在党河湿地内不新增房屋及公路等人为干扰, 同时继续适当限牧, 并给予牧民充足的经济补偿。 相似文献

The results of an integrated examination of the state of the scallopMizuhopecten yessoensis in Alekseeva Bight (Peter the Great Bay, Sea of Japan) are presented. In mollusks of different ages, shell height was measured;
in animals of commercial size (over 100 mm), some size and weight characteristics (annual increment of shell and adductor
muscle and soft tissue weight) were determined. The morphology of the digestive gland and gills was studied. In the adductor
muscle and digestive gland, the concentration of heavy metals (HMs) (Hg, Cu, Zn, Mn, Pb, Cd, Ni, Co, and Cr) was determined.
In the digestive gland, metallothionein and reduced glutathione concentration was also determined, as was the activity of
glutathione-dependent enzymes (glutathione peroxidase and glutathione reductase). In scallops collected outside Alekseeva
Bight, the linear growth rate and adductor muscle weight were on average 1.3 and 1.7 times greater, respectively, than in
those collected in the bight. In scallop organs, numerous histomorphological alterations were revealed: digestive cell vacuolization
and hemocyte infiltration of the digestive gland, hyperplasia and vacuolization of the respiratory epithelium, and connective
tissue hypertrophy in gill filaments. The biochemical parameters of scallops from Alekseeva Bight differed substantially from
those of mollusks collected outside the bight. We conclude that one of the factors negatively affecting the state of theM. yessoensis population in Alekseeva Bight is the contamination of the bight with HMs, especially mercury. This is consistent with the
results of chemical analysis of bottom sediments and tissues of two mytilid species,Modiolus kurilensis andCrenomytilus grayanus, specimens of which were collected in the bight together with the scallops [3]. 相似文献

Nauplii V of the rare crustacean Hansenocaris furcifera Itô, 1989, belonging to the infraclass Facetotecta were recorded in the plankton of Peter the Great Bay (Sea of Japan) for the first time. The larvae were probably transported in summer from the coastal waters off Japan. Scanning electron microscopic observations revealed previously unknown morphological characteristics of these larvae: three pairs of pore fields on the dorsal side of the carapace and the presence of processes covered with thickened setae and located at the base of mandibles. 相似文献

The bioerosion of shells of the Japanese scallop Mizuhopecten yessoensis by endolithic organisms over the last few decades and millenia in areas close to the main sources of organic pollution in Peter the Great Bay was studied. It was established that the occurrence of Japanese scallop shells damaged by borers increased over 2500 years practically from 0 up to 96% in the northern part of the bay at Mys Peschany Cape, which is subject to the impact of the Pazdol'naya River drain. The bioerosion of the Japanese scallop shells has increased considerably over the last two decades in the coastal zone, near the center of the city of Vladivostok, at one of the main sources of the city's wastewater discharge. Thus, in 4-year old individuals 33.0 ± 2.9% of upper valves were eroded on average in 1982; in 1998 it was already 68.3 ± 6.4%. In Reinike strait, that is, at some distance from the mouth of Razdol'naya River and from the main discharge sources of polluted waters of Vladivostok, the shells of the Japanese scallop were eroded to a lesser extent than in the population from the coastal region near the city. However, a significant increase in the degree of bioerosion of the scallop shells was observed over one-and-a-half decades: in 1987 in 4-year scallops 2.3 ± 0.3% of the area of the upper valve was eroded on average, and in 1999 that parameter increased and became 32.6 ± 3.4%. In the western part of Peter the Great Bay near Furugelm Island, which is located 20 km away from the mouth of the Tumannaya River, the degree of bioerosion of scallop shells had also increased significantly over the last 30 years. The increase in the degree of bioerosion of the shell is connected to a gradual increase in the content of organic substances in the bottom sediments. This is a factor favorable for the development of bacteria and phytoplankton, which is a food source for polychaetes—the basic shell boring symbionts of the Japanese scallop. 相似文献

A putative new limpet species (Patellogastropoda) from the Sea of Japan is revealed by molecular genetic analyses using the mitochondrial markers 16S rRNA and cytochrome c oxidase subunit I (CO1), as well as the DNA marker 18SrRNA. Our data indicate that the limpet, collected in the Peter the Great Bay (Russian Federation), is not, as its morphology suggests, the Japanese species Lottia kogamogaiSasaki and Okutani, 1994, and might also hint towards another putative species complex in the Sea of Japan. The different currents between the Far East Asian mainland (cold, subpolar jet running southwards) and the Japanese archipelago (warm, subtropical jet running northwards) are likely to act as a barrier that has a substantial influence on species distribution in these waters. Accordingly, our results indicate that it is about time for a revision of patellogastropod species with a reported distribution in Japanese and Far Eastern Russian waters by an integrative approach using molecular genetic and morphological characters. Crabs Portunus sanguinolentus (Herbst, 1783) and Plagusia depressa tuberculata Lamarck, 1818 were found in Peter the Great Bay (Sea of Japan) on a drifting buoy. Comparative biotesting was performed using embryos and larvae of the sea urchin Scaphechinus mirabilis and the microalga Dunaliella salina. These two species were taken as test organisms for estimating water quality in areas of various anthropogenic loads. Seawater from Nakhodka and Vostok bays, as well as from the southwestern part of Peter the Great Bay (Sea of Japan) near the Tumen River mouth, was tested. Water from Vostok and Nakhodka bays had a harmful effect on embryonic and larval development of the sea urchin. The algal culture kept in the water of Vostok Bay was depressed throughout the experiment, while development of the alga in the water from Nakhodka Bay hardly differed from the control but was unstable. Water from the southwestern part of Peter the Great Bay did not have any significant harmful effect on both test organisms. Embryos and larvae of the sea urchin S. mirabilis were several orders more sensitive to salinity changes and content of toxic agents; they responded more readily to changes in water quality than D. salina cells. Correspondingly, embryos and larvae of the sea urchin S. mirabilis were found to be a preferable test organism for assessment of pollution in various marine environments. 相似文献

为揭示旅游干扰对于百里杜鹃风景区杜鹃群落特征影响,选取杜鹃纯林和杜鹃混交林两种杜鹃群落,分析干扰对群落结构及物种多样性的影响。采用典型抽样的方法进行样地设置和调查,通过旅游影响系数分析样地旅游干扰等级,并分析对比了不同旅游干扰程度和干扰方式对群落特征的影响。研究表明:1)百里杜鹃景区共有植被67科102属130种,其中杜鹃纯林共有植被97种,以马缨杜鹃、箭竹和露珠杜鹃为优势物种,杜鹃混交林共有植被115种,以马缨杜鹃、露珠杜鹃和映山红为优势种;2)两种杜鹃群落均在中等干扰水平时具有最高的Berger-Parker丰富度指数和Shannon多样性指数,中度干扰一定程度上促进了杜鹃群落物种多样性增加,不同的是两种群落的Shannon指数变化趋势不同,在杜鹃纯林中表现为中度干扰>轻度干扰>重度干扰,而在杜鹃混交林中中度干扰>重度干扰>轻度干扰,相较于杜鹃纯林,杜鹃混交林物种更为丰富,在旅游干扰下生物多样性更为稳定,抗干扰能力更强,而杜鹃纯林受旅游干扰波动显著;3)垃圾指数、踩踏指数与杜鹃混交林物种多样性指数、群落生长结构无明显相关性,而垃圾指数与杜鹃纯林Shannon多样性指数、物种数以及草本均高呈显著负相关,踩踏指数与杜鹃纯林灌木层高度、盖度呈现极显著负相关,与草本均高呈显著正相关;4)各杜鹃群落对旅游干扰有不同响应,为保持杜鹃群落稳定性,应在花季适当分流,严格控制杜鹃纯林的重度干扰。 相似文献

定量区分导致草地生态系统植被变化的自然和人为因素,是生态系统科学管理和保育的关键。因此,综述当前应用较为广泛的定量区分方法,包括主成分分析法、层次分析法、残差趋势法和模型差值法等,比较不同方法的计算原理、优势及误差来源,进而结合典型区域或典型生态系统,对不同方法进行对比和分析。总体而言,每种方法各有其优势和缺点,当前采用同一方法在不同区域或生态系统类型应用的研究较多,但针对方法本身改进或优化的研究较少。此外,针对同一区域开展的不同区分方法间的结果也存在差异。定量区分的结果除受方法本身算法的局限外,也受数据源的时空连续性及分辨率的影响。未来定量区分方法将强调:(1)在指标的选取上,要兼顾全面、多角度、不冗余等原则;(2)进行多源数据与多时空尺度融合,在更高时空分辨率定量区分自然与人为因素,从单一因子的贡献率区分到更多综合性指标的贡献率区分;(3)对定量区分方法本身的改进,这是当前的重点与难点。以期为生态系统适应性管理与关键生态功能的针对性保育提供科学依据和政策导向。 相似文献
