The cell-free translation products of polyribosomal and post-polyribosomal mRNAs from the non-infective epimastigotes and the infective metacyclic trypomastigotes of the parasitic protozoan Trypanosoma cruzi were compared by two-dimensional polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. The result show that although many polypeptides are conserved, quantitative and qualitative differences are observed between both differentiation stages. The results also indicate the existence of post-polyribosomal mRNAs in equilibrium with polyribosomal counterparts. The immunoprecipitation of the in vitro synthesized polypeptides with chagasic human serum and the serum raised against an 85-kDa glycoprotein (P2-WGA), potentially involved in the process of T. cruzi penetration into mammalian cells, shows that while the chagasic serum recognizes the same 72-kDa, 68-kDa and 46-kDa polypeptides in both differentiation stages, the anti-P2-WGA serum immunoprecipitates a single 48-kDa polypeptide from in vitro translation products of metacyclic trypomastigotes.  相似文献

Infective- and vertebrate-stage trypomastigotes of Trypanosoma cruzi resist serum killing by the alternative complement pathway, whereas noninfective vector-stage epimastigotes, from which trypomastigotes derive, are serum-sensitive. This form of developmental preadaption is commonly observed in protozoan parasites, but its mechanisms are poorly understood. We have demonstrated previously that trypomastigotes spontaneously shed molecules which interfere with formation and accelerate the intrinsic decay of complement C3 convertases, a finding which may explain the evasion of complement lysis by trypomastigotes. We now describe the partial purification and characterization of the T. cruzi C3 convertase inhibitor from the supernatant of culture metacyclic and tissue culture trypomastigotes. Decay-accelerating activity for both classical and alternative pathway C3 convertases copurifies on anion-exchange fast protein liquid chromatography and chromatofocusing with 35S-labeled molecules of 87-93 kDa, pI 5.6-5.8. The labeled components are destroyed by papain and retained on concanavalin A-Sepharose, procedures which remove functional decay-accelerating activity from the supernatant. The 87-93-kDa components are immunoprecipitated by sera from patients chronically infected with T. cruzi, but not by antisera to any known regulatory proteins of the human complement cascade. Lytic activity for tissue culture trypomastigotes in chagasic sera is associated with antibody reactivity against the 87-93-kDa 35S-labeled components and with inhibition of decay-accelerating activity. The T. cruzi factor is the first developmentally regulated microbial complement inhibitor to be biochemically characterized.  相似文献

Cell-substrate adhesion during Trypanosoma cruzi differentiation   总被引:2,自引:0,他引:2       下载免费PDF全文
The transformation of Trypanosoma cruzi epimastigotes to the mammal infective metacyclic trypomastigotes (metacyclogenesis) can be performed in vitro under chemically defined conditions. Under these conditions, differentiating epimastigotes adhere to a surface before their transformation into metacyclic trypomastigotes. Scanning and transmission electron microscopy of adhered and non-adhered parasites during the metacyclogenesis process show that only epimastigotes and few transition forms are found in the first population, whereas metacyclic trypomastigotes are exclusively found in the cell culture supernatant. PAGE analysis of the [35S]methionine metabolic labeling products of adhered and non-adhered parasites shows that although most of the polypeptides are conserved, adhered parasites express specifically four polypeptides in the range of 45-50 kD with an isoelectric point of 4.8. These proteins might be involved in the adhesion process and are recognized by an antiserum against total adhered parasite proteins. This antiserum also recognized a group of 45-50 kD in the iodine-radiolabeled surface proteins of differentiating cells, providing direct evidence that these components are indeed surface antigens. The results suggest that epimastigotes must adhere to a substrate before their transformation to metacyclic trypomastigotes, being released to the medium as the metacyclogenesis process is accomplished. This could correspond to the process naturally occurring within the triatomine invertebrate host.  相似文献

Changes in the dynamic of expression of polypeptides following the differentiation from infective trypomastigotes to multiplicative amastigote forms of Trypanosoma cruzi were mapped by two-dimensional gel electrophoresis and quantitatively analyzed by laser densitometry. Following the differentiation from trypomastigotes to amastigotes the expression of the polypeptides 212, 183, 176, 149, 50-55, 43, 39, 34 and 28 kDa is turned off in multiplicative amastigotes, whereas the expression of the polypeptides 80, 66 (p.Is. 6.75-7.50), 42 and 38 kDa is turned on. After complete differentiation from trypomastigotes to amastigotes the expression of the polypeptides 43, 42, 33, 32, 29 and 23 kDa is up-regulated in amastigotes, whereas the expression of the acidic polypeptides 66 (p.Is. 6.27-6.64), 45-48 and 41-43 kDa is down-regulated.  相似文献

Attempts to recreate all the developmental stages of Trypanosoma cruzi in vitro have thus far been met with partial success. It is possible, for instance, to produce trypomastigotes in tissue culture and to obtain metacyclic trypomastigotes in axenic conditions. Even though T. cruzi amastigotes are known to differentiate from trypomastigotes and metacyclic trypomastigotes, it has only been possible to generate amastigotes in vitro from the tissue-culture-derived trypomastigotes. The factors and culture conditions required to trigger the transformation of metacyclic trypomastigotes into amastigotes are as yet undetermined. We show here that pre-incubation of metacyclic trypomastigotes in culture (MEMTAU) medium at 37 degrees C for 48 h is sufficient to commit the parasites to the transformation process. After 72 h of incubation in fresh MEMTAU medium, 90% of the metacyclic parasites differentiate into forms that are morphologically indistinguishable from normal amastigotes. SDS-PAGE, Western blot and PAABS analyses indicate that the transformation of axenic metacyclic trypomastigotes to amastigotes is associated with protein, glycoprotein and antigenic modifications. These data suggest that (a) T. cruzi amastigotes can be obtained axenically in large amounts from metacyclic trypomastigotes, and (b) the amastigotes thus obtained are morphological, biological and antigenically similar to intracellular amastigotes. Consequently, this experimental system may facilitate a direct, in vitro assessment of the mechanisms that enable T. cruzi metacyclic trypomastigotes to transform into amastigotes in the cells of mammalian hosts.  相似文献

The binding and assembly of clathrin triskelions on vesicle membranes seem to be mediated by certain assembly polypeptides (Keen, J.H., Willingham, M.C., and Pastau, I.H. (1979) Cell 16, 303-312). These assembly polypeptides were further purified into two distinct complexes using hydroxylapatite chromatography. Peak 1 consists of two major bands of 98 and 112 kDa, two minor bands of 103 and 118 kDa, and a polypeptide of 46 kDa. Peak 2 consists of one major band of 100 kDa, two minor bands of 103 and 115 kDa, and a polypeptide of 50 kDa. Both complexes have a native molecular mass of 290 kDa as determined by gel filtration. Each 290-kDa complex contains two polypeptides of 98-118/100-115 kDa and two polypeptides of 46/50 kDa. The 46-kDa polypeptide is not phosphorylated, whereas the 50-kDa polypeptide is. Both peaks contain 50-kDa kinase-like activity. Time courses of the 50-kDa phosphorylation show that the activity in peak 1 saturates much faster than the activity in peak 2; there may be two 50-kDa kinase activities in coated vesicles. A kinase that phosphorylates the polypeptides in 98-118-kDa group is present in peak 1 but not in peak 2. Both peaks assemble clathrin triskelions into cages under conditions in which the clathrin alone would not assemble. Both rotary shadowed and negatively stained preparations of these reassembled cages as well as the purified complexes were examined by electron microscopy. Thus, two complexes have been identified that differ in their polypeptide composition and kinase activities, but are similar in their ability to assemble clathrin triskelions into cages.  相似文献

Metacyclic (stationary) and logarithmic (log) forms of promastigotes of Leishmania donovani and Leishmania major were characterized in several ways. The highly active metacyclic forms were larger with more protein and less carbohydrate. The flagellum increased in length 2.4 times in L. major as compared to 1.8 times in L. donovani. Resistance to complement-mediated lysis by normal human serum of in vitro grown Leishmania promastigotes was related to the species, the growth phase in culture, and also the temperature. Metacyclic forms of both species had a much increased resistance to killing by normal serum at different temperatures. Differences in membrane-exposed carbohydrates were detected by fluorescein-conjugated lectins. Peanut agglutinin and Ulex agglutinin I differentiated log and stationary phase promastigotes of L. major. Higher amounts of acid phosphatase were demonstrated in the metacyclic phase. Differences in polypeptides were detected by sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. Two polypeptides of approximately 51 and 114 kDa were found exclusively in metacyclic promastigotes of both species, whereas 38- and 23-kDa polypeptides were lost or reduced during transformation from log to metacyclic phase promastigotes of L. donovani. In addition, a 75-kDa polypeptide was expressed only in metacyclic promastigotes of L. major.  相似文献

Investigation of protease activities during the transformation of Trypanosoma cruzi epimastigotes into metacyclic trypomastigoes (metacyclo-genesis) revealed three major components with apparent molecular weights of 65, 52, and 40 kDa. The 65-kDa protease is a metacyclic trypomastigote stage-specific protease with an isoelectric point of 5.2 whose activity is inhibited by 1,10-phenanthroline, suggesting that it might be a metalloprotease. The 52-kDa component is also a metalloprotease which is constitutively expressed in epimastigotes and metacyclic trypomastigoes. On the other hand, the 40-kDa component is apparently made up of several isoforms of a cysteine protease which is expressed in much higher levels in epimastigotes than in metacyclic trypomastigote forms. The fact that the 65- and 40-kDa proteases are developmentally regulated suggests that proteases might be important for T. cruzi differentiation. Accordingly, T. cruzi metacyclogenesis is blocked by metallo- and cysteine-protease inhibitors.  相似文献

The immunoblotting technique was used to analyse polypeptides of purified Epstein-Barr virus reacting with antibodies present in sera from clinically healthy individuals, from patients with infectious mononucleosis (IM) or AIDS, and from renal transplant recipients with molecular sizes in the range of 40–290 kDa were detected. The 47- and 160-kDa nucleocapsid polypeptides, as well as the 72-, 74-, 140-, 220- and 290-kDa membrane polypeptides were the major viral proteins detected in the sera. Sera from clinically healthy individuals contained antibodies directed against all EBV membrane and nucleocapsid antigens. Sera from renal transplant recipients, from patients with IM and from patients with AIDS failed to react with certain nucleocapsid and membrane antigens; in particular, sera from AIDS patients and renal transplant recipients did not react with the 220-kDa polypeptide, one of the major membrane antigens, while sera from subjects with IM and from healthy individuals did.A high proportion of sera from patients with IM (38% vs 5% of clinically healthy individuals and 0–5% of the AIDS patients and renal transplant recipients) reacted with a 42-kDa polypeptide, suggesting its possible role in acute EBV infection.  相似文献

Thirty-four human sera containing parietal cell autoantibodies (PCA) specifically immunoprecipitated two antigens, with apparent molecular masses of 60-90 kDa and 100-120 kDa under nonreducing conditions and 60-90 kDa and 120-150 kDa under reducing conditions, from porcine gastric membrane extracts. A third antigen of 92 kDa was only observed in immunoprecipitates analyzed under reducing conditions. By immunoblotting, 24 of the 34 PCA-positive sera reacted with only the 60-90-kDa antigen, three reacted with a broad 60-120-kDa smear, one reacted only with a 92-kDa antigen and six did not react. Reactivity with the 60-90-kDa antigen was observed with gastric membranes from dog, pig, rat, and rabbit. Twenty PCA-negative sera did not react with these components by immunoprecipitation or immunoblotting. PCA reactivity with the 60-90-kDa antigen was abolished when the gastric membranes were (a) digested with Pronase, (b) reduced with 100 mM dithiothreitol, (c) treated with sodium periodate, or (d) digested with N-glycanase. The 60-90-kDa and 100-120-kDa components were insensitive to neuraminidase treatment. N-glycanase digestion of 125I-labeled antigens purified by immunoprecipitation and preparative sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis collapsed the 60-90-kDa antigen to a sharp 34-kDa band; the 100-120-kDa component was unaffected. These observations suggest that (i) parietal cell antigens comprise three components of 60-90, 92, and 100-120 kDa; (ii) the epitopes differ in conformational sensitivity; (iii) the 60-90-kDa antigen is a conserved molecule comprising a 34-kDa core protein extensively glycosylated with N-linked oligosaccharides; (iv) sialic acid residues are not present in the 60-90- and 100-120-kDa molecules, and (v) the carbohydrate and protein moieties of the 60-90-kDa molecule are required for antibody binding.  相似文献

The millimolar Ca2+-requiring form of the Ca2+-dependent proteinase from chicken breast skeletal muscle contains two subunit polypeptides of 80 and 28 kDa, just as the analogous forms of this proteinase from other tissues do. Incubation with Ca2+ at pH 7.5 causes rapid autolysis of the 80-kDa polypeptide to 77 kDa and of the 28-kDa polypeptide to 18 kDa. Autolysis of the 28-kDa polypeptide is slightly faster than autolysis of the 80-kDa polypeptide and is 90-95% complete after 10 s at 0 degrees C. Autolysis for 15 s at 0 degrees C converts the proteinase from a form requiring 250-300 microM Ca2+ to one requiring 9-10 microM Ca2+ for half-maximal activity, without changing its specific activity. The autolyzed proteinase has a slightly lower pH optimum (7.7 vs. 8.1) than the unautolyzed proteinase. The autolyzed proteinase is not detected in tissue extracts made immediately after death; therefore, the millimolar Ca2+-requiring proteinase is largely, if not entirely, in the unautolyzed form in situ.  相似文献

tRNA (m5U54)-methyltransferase (EC 2.1.1.35) catalyzes the transfer of methyl groups from S-adenosyl-L-methionine to transfer ribonucleic acid (tRNA) and thereby forming 5-methyluridine (m5U, ribosylthymine) in position 54 of tRNA. This enzyme, which is involved in the biosynthesis of all tRNA chains in Escherichia coli, was purified 5800-fold. A hybrid plasmid carrying trmA, the structural gene for tRNA (m5U54)-methyltransferase was used to amplify genetically the production of this enzyme 40-fold. The purest fraction contained three polypeptides of 42 kDa, 41 kDa and 32 kDa and a heterogeneous 48-57-kDa RNA-protein complex. All the polypeptides seem to be related to the 42/41-kDa polypeptides previously identified as the tRNA (m5U54)-methyltransferase. RNA comprises about 50% (by mass) of the complex. The RNA seems not to be essential for the methylation activity, but may increase the activity of the enzyme. The amino acid composition is presented and the N-terminal sequence of the 42-kDa polypeptide was found to be: Met-Thr-Pro-Glu-His-Leu-Pro-Thr-Glu-Gln-Tyr-Glu-Ala-Gln-Leu-Ala-Glu-Lys- . The tRNA (m5U54)-methyltransferase has a pI of 4.7 and a pH optimum of 8.0. The enzyme does not require added cations but is stimulated by Mg2+. The apparent Km for tRNA and S-adenosyl-L-methionine are 80 nM and 17 microM, respectively.  相似文献

Schistosomula proteins separated by a two-dimensional (NEPHGE) gel system identify 94 major silver-stained polypeptides. When compared to polypeptides similarly separated from cercariae and adult worms; cercariae share the same polypeptides as schistosomula, adult worms share ca. 60% of the polypeptides. A group of five schistosomula polypeptides 15-31 kDa (apparent pI 8.2-8.9) was not found in adult worm extracts. To identify which polypeptides were immunogens, Western blots of the NEPHGE gels were probed with sera either from humans with chronic schistosomiasis or from mice vaccinated with irradiated cercariae. For characterization studies, polyclonal antibodies were made against the five schistosomula-specific and selected immunogenic polypeptides by immunizing mice with silver-stained spots removed from NEPHGE gels. We show that the polyclonal serum against a polypeptide of 12.5 kDa and an apparent pI of 6.70 mediated complement and eosinophil-dependent killing of schistosomula in an in vitro assay. Epitopes recognized by antibody against the 12.5-kDa polypeptide show a diffuse distribution and are found on flame cells of the excretory system of the schistosomula.  相似文献

Tetrahymena thermophila cells were labeled with sulfosuccinimidyl 6-(biotinamido) hexanoate, a sensitive nonradioactive probe for cell surface proteins, and Western blots of axonemes and ciliary membrane vesicles were compared to cilia fractionated with Triton X-114 (TX-114) in order to study the orientation of ciliary membrane proteins. Greater than 40 ciliary surface polypeptides, from greater than 350 kDa to less than 20 kDa, were resolved. The major surface 50-60 kDa proteins are hydrophobic and partition into the TX-114 detergent phase. Two high molecular weight proteins, one of which is biotinylated, comigrate with the heavy chains of ciliary dynein, sediment at 14S in a sucrose gradient, and partition into the TX-114 aqueous phase. Fractions containing these high molecular weight proteins as well as fractions enriched in 88-kDa and 66-kDa polypeptides contain Mg(2+)-ATPase activities. Detergent-solubilized tubulins partition into the TX-114 aqueous phase, are not biotinylated, and must not be exposed to the ciliary surface. The detergent-insoluble axoneme and membrane fraction contains a 36-kDa polypeptide and a portion of the 50-kDa polypeptides that otherwise partition into the detergent phase. These polypeptides could not be solubilized by ATP or by NaCl extraction and appear to be associated with pieces of ciliary membrane tightly linked to the axoneme. The ciliary membrane polypeptides were also tested for Concanavalin A binding and at least sixteen Con A-binding polypeptides were resolved. Of the major Con A-binding polypeptides, three are hydrophobic and partition into the TX-114 detergent phase, three partition into the TX-114 aqueous phase, and four partition exclusively in the detergent-insoluble fraction, which contains axonemes and detergent-resistant membrane vesicles.  相似文献

Adult diarrhea rotavirus (ADRV) is a newly identified strain of noncultivable human group B rotavirus that has been epidemic in the People's Republic of China since 1982. We have used sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and Western (immuno-) blot analysis to examine the viral proteins present in the outer and inner capsids of ADRV and compared these with the proteins of a group A rotavirus, SA11. EDTA treatment of double-shelled virions removed the outer capsid and resulted in the loss of three polypeptides of 64, 61, and 41, kilodaltons (kDa). Endo-beta-N-acetylglucosaminidase H digestion of double-shelled virions identified the 41-kDa polypeptide as a glycoprotein. CaCl2 treatment of single-shelled particles removed the inner capsid and resulted in the loss of one polypeptide with a molecular mass of 47 kDa. The remaining core particle had two major structural proteins of 136 and 113 kDa. All of the proteins visualized on sodium dodecyl sulfate-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis were antigenic by Western blot analysis when probed with convalescent-phase human and animal antisera. A 47-kDa polypeptide was most abundant and was strongly immunoreactive with human sera, animal sera raised against ADRV and against other group B animal rotaviruses (infectious diarrhea of infant rat virus, bovine and porcine group B rotavirus, and bovine enteric syncytial virus) and a monoclonal antibody prepared against infectious diarrhea of infant rat virus. This 47-kDa inner capsid polypeptide contains a common group B antigen and is similar to the VP6 of the group A rotaviruses. Human convalescent-phase sera also responded to a 41-kDa polypeptide of the outer capsid that seems similar to the VP7 of group A rotavirus. Other polypeptides have been given tentative designations on the basis of similarities to the control preparation of SA11, including a 136-kDa polypeptide designated VP1, a 113-kDa polypeptide designated VP2, 64- and 61-kDa polypeptides designated VP5 and VP5a, and several proteins in the 110- to 72-kDa range that may be VP3, VP4, or related proteins. The lack of cross-reactivity on Western blots between antisera to group A versus group B rotaviruses confirmed that these viruses are antigenically quite distinct.  相似文献

The purified Ca2+-pumping ATPase of the erythrocyte membrane has been exposed to trypsin at 37 degrees C, in the presence of different effectors of its activity. The control proteolytic pattern is characterized by a number of transient and of limit polypeptides (Zurini, M., Krebs, J., Penniston, J. T., and Carafoli, E. (1984) J. Biol. Chem. 259, 618-627). The effectors influence the pattern in the Mr region 90,000-76,000, which contains the calmodulin binding domain and the active site of the enzyme. In this region, polypeptides of 90, 85, 81, and 76 kDa are clearly visible in the controls. 1) Calmodulin plus Ca2+ induces the faster disappearance of the 90-kDa product and the relative accumulation of the 85-kDa with respect to the 81-kDa polypeptide. 2) Vanadate plus Mg2+ also accelerates the disappearance of the 90-kDa product. However, they induce the relative accumulation of the 81-kDa polypeptide. 3) Linoleic acid, which stimulates the activity of the enzyme to the same levels obtained with calmodulin, greatly accelerates the rate of trypsin proteolysis, causing the virtual disappearance of all polypeptides in the 90-76-kDa region. 4) The 81-kDa polypeptide has maximal ATPase activity and is insensitive to calmodulin; the 85-kDa polypeptide has lower ATPase activity and binds calmodulin, but is not stimulated (or is stimulated only negligibly) by the activator.  相似文献

Thirty-one Trypanosoma cruzi isolates from Chile, Peru, and Bolivia were studied in their capacity to differentiate in vitro from epimastigotes to metacyclic trypomastigotes on TAU-3AAG medium. Zymodeme 1 parasites displayed the best level of differentiation, which ranges from 60 to 90% depending on the isolate. Zymodeme 2 parasites exhibited highly heterogenous differentiation rates. This differentiation method permits the obtention of large amounts of metacyclic trypomastigotes from zymodeme 1 parasites. Metacyclic trypomastigotes obtained in vitro were infective to nude Balb/c hybrid mice. Zymodeme 1 parasites produced high parasitemias in this murine model; in contrast, zymodeme 2 parasites displayed lower parasitemias. Of a total of 27 T. cruzi isolates, 20 proved to be infective to mice, 12 gave enough parasites for further studies, and 8 of these were used for biological characterization. Results are compared with the infective clone Dm28 and Tulahuén strains maintained since 1954 in mice.  相似文献

Domain mapping of chicken gizzard caldesmon   总被引:5,自引:0,他引:5
Limited proteolysis, affinity chromatography, and immunoblotting have been used to define the domains of chicken gizzard caldesmon, caldesmon120, that interact with calmodulin, F-actin, and a monoclonal antibody prepared using human platelet caldesmon. Treatment of caldesmon120 with chymotrypsin produces groups of fragments near 100, 80, 60, 38, and 20 kDa. Further digestion produces peptides between 40 and 50 kDa. The 100- and 80-kDa peptides cross-react with the monoclonal antibody; the smaller polypeptides do not. The kinetics of cleavage and the antibody studies indicate that the 38- and 80-kDa fragments are the two major pieces of the 120-kDa protein. The 38-kDa fragment, purified by high performance liquid chromatography, and several of its subfragments at 21 and 25 kDa sediment with F-actin, bind to calmodulin-Sepharose in the presence of Ca2+, and are displaced from F-actin by Ca2+-calmodulin. The 80-kDa fragments did not interact with F-actin or calmodulin. We have tentatively placed the 38-kDa fragment at the C-terminal using polyclonal antibodies selected against a beta-galactosidase-caldesmon120 fusion protein produced by a lambda gt11 lysogen. The 38-, 25-, and 21-kDa fragments cross-react with these antibodies; the 80- and 60-kDa fragments do not. Caldesmon77 from human platelets also cross-reacts with these selected antibodies. The results suggest that interacting calmodulin and F-actin binding sites are localized on a 38-kDa C-terminal fragment of caldesmon. The smallest subfragment of this peptide that binds to both F-actin and calmodulin-Sepharose is about 21 kDa. The monoclonal antibody epitope is tentatively localized near the N-terminal of caldesmon77 and must be within 50 kDa of the N-terminal on caldesmon120.  相似文献

A new family of insecticidal crystal proteins was discovered by screening sporulated Bacillus thuringiensis cultures for oral activity against western corn rootworm (WCR) larvae. B. thuringiensis isolates PS80JJ1, PS149B1, and PS167H2 have WCR insecticidal activity attributable to parasporal inclusion bodies containing proteins with molecular masses of ca. 14 and 44 kDa. The genes encoding these polypeptides reside in apparent operons, and the 14-kDa protein open reading frame (ORF) precedes the 44-kDa protein ORF. Mutagenesis of either gene in the apparent operons dramatically reduced insecticidal activity of the corresponding recombinant B. thuringiensis strain. Bioassays performed with separately expressed, biochemically purified 14- and 44-kDa polypeptides also demonstrated that both proteins are required for WCR mortality. Sequence comparisons with other known B. thuringiensis insecticidal proteins failed to reveal homology with previously described Cry, Cyt, or Vip proteins. However, there is evidence that the 44-kDa polypeptide and the 41.9- and 51.4-kDa binary dipteran insecticidal proteins from Bacillus sphaericus are evolutionarily related. The 14- and 44-kDa polypeptides from isolates PS80JJ1, PS149B1, and PS167H2 have been designated Cry34Aa1, Cry34Ab1, and Cry34Ac1, respectively, and the 44-kDa polypeptides from these isolates have been designated Cry35Aa1, Cry35Ab1, and Cry35Ac1, respectively.  相似文献
