Three new genera of Mimallonidae are described. The monotypic genus Tostallogen. n. is erected to contain “Perophora” albescens Jones, 1912, which was previously placed in the preoccupied genus Perophora Harris, 1841 and was never formally moved to a valid genus. Perophora is a junior homonym of Cicinnus Blanchard, 1852, but the name albescens is not appropriately placed in Cicinnus due to external and genitalia characteristics entirely unique to the species albescens. The female of Tostalloalbescenscomb. n. is described and both sexes are figured for the first time. Aurorianagen. n. is erected to contain Aurorianaflorianensis (Herbin, 2012), comb. n. previously described as Cicinnusflorianensis, and two new species: Aurorianacolombianasp. n. from Colombia and Aurorianagemmasp. n. from southeastern and southern Brazil. The female of Aurorianaflorianensis is described and figured for the first time. Finally, the monotypic genus Micrallogen. n. is erected to include a new species, Micrallominutussp. n. described from northeastern Brazil. 相似文献

Only three species belonging to the genus Ectomyelois Heinrich, 1956 are recorded from China, of which two species, Ectomyeloisbipectinalissp. n. and Ectomyeloisfurvivenasp. n. are described as new. We discuss the status of Ectomyelois that has been treated as a junior synonym by previous authors; we treat it as a valid genus, revised status, based on characters of the venation and female genitalia. Photographs of the adults and illustrations of the genitalia are given, along with a key to the three known Chinese species. 相似文献

Parakiefferiellatamatriangulata Sasa is recorded from China for the first time. A key to the known adult males of Parakiefferiella from China is presented. Among the genera of the subfamily Scorpiopinae Kraepelin, 1905 Alloscorpiops remains rather discrete. Only recently new species were added to this genus, increasing its number from two to five. Therefore, species of Alloscorpiops remain rare. One remarkable new species, Alloscorpiopstroglodytessp. n., is described on the basis of a single male specimen collected inside a cave from Song Thanh Nature Reserve, Cha Vanh Commune, Nam Giang District in Vietnam. The new species presents most features exhibited by scorpions of the genus Alloscorpiops, but it is characterized by reduced size, slender body and elongated pedipalps. This new scorpion taxon represents the third species of Scorpiopinae discovered in a cave system, and may be another endemic element in the fauna of Vietnam. 相似文献

Species in the class Diplura are recorded from Alaska for the first time. Two species, Tricamparileyi Silvestri from Dall and Prince of Wales Islands in the Alexander Archipelago of Southeast Alaska and Metriocampaallocerca Conde & Geeraert from near Quartz Lake, southeast of Fairbanks, both in the family Campodeidae, are documented based on recently collected specimens deposited in the University of Alaska Museum Insect Collection. A new weevil, Pheudepunctatusgen. et sp. n., of the tribe Dryotribini in Cossoninae, is described from Guangdong Province, South China. It differs from the related genera Dryotribus Horn and Microtribodes Morimoto in having antennae with seven articles and a distinct scutellum, and from Ochronanus Pascoe and Stenomimus Wollaston in having long antennae, a rostrum with a medio-longitudinal furrow beginning at the posterior margin of the eyes and extending approximately midway on the rostrum, and a moderately elevated, medio-longitudinal carina extending the full length of the pronotum. A new species of paracalanid calanoid copepod Parvocalanusleeisp. n., is described from specimens collected in shallow waters of Western Korea. The new species is closely similar to Parvocalanusarabiensis (Kesarkar & Anil, 2010), Parvocalanuscrassirostris (F. Dahl, 1894), Parvocalanuslatus Andronov, 1972, and Parvocalanusscotti (Früchtl, 1923) in having two short terminal spines on the distal segment of the fifth leg and a similar rostrum in the female, but can be readily distinguished from its congeners by the body size, relative length of antennules, segmentation of endopod of leg 1, and pattern of ornamentation of spinules on legs 1 to 4 in the female. The taxonomic position of Parvocalanusarabiensis and the validity of the genus Parvocalanus Andronov, 1970 are also discussed. 相似文献

An identification key to all known species of the group is provided, and important diagnostic characters (habitus, color, male antennae, protarsomeres 4–5, median lobes, and parameres) are illustrated. The taxonomy of the polytypic and wide-ranging Gray-necked Wood-rail, Aramidescajaneus is reviewed, based on external morphology and voice. Throughout its distribution, there is extensive plumage variation, much of it taxonomically uninformative. However, through three informative plumage characters, as well as morphometric and vocal variation, three phylogenetic species were identified within what is today known as Aramidescajaneus, all of which already had available names: Aramidesalbiventris Lawrence, 1868, from southern Mexico to northeastern Costa Rica, Aramidescajaneus (Statius Müller, 1776) (sensu stricto), from southwestern Costa Rica to Argentina, and Aramidesavicenniae Stotz, 1992, from a small section of the coast of southeastern Brazil. Aramidesalbiventris presents extensive plumage variation, but with no geographic structure. The song of Aramidescajaneus and Aramidesavicenniae is strikingly and completely different from the song of Aramidesalbiventris. A previously unnoticed parapatric pattern of distribution of Aramidescajaneus and its congener Aramidessaracura in southeastern Brazil is described, and we clarify that the name Aramidesplumbeicollis, included in the synonymy of Aramidesalbiventris, was first made available in 1892, rather than in 1888 as is widely referred. In addition, plumage variation in Aramidesypecaha, Aramideswolfi, and Aramidesmangle is discussed. 相似文献

A previously unknown species of the North American leafhopper genus Flexamia, Flexamiawhitcombisp. n., is described from pinebarren smokegrass (Muhlenbergiatorreyana (Schult.) Hitchc.), a state-listed threatened grass in the New Jersey Pine Barrens. The serrata species group, to which it belongs, is redefined and a key to the species of the group is provided. The discovery of three new species of Enyalioides from the tropical Andes in Ecuador and northern Peru is reported. Enyalioidesaltotambosp. n. occurs in northwestern Ecuador and differs from other species of Enyalioides in having dorsal scales that are both smooth and homogeneous in size, a brown iris, and in lacking enlarged, circular and keeled scales on the flanks. Enyalioidesanisolepissp. n. occurs on the Amazonian slopes of the Andes in southern Ecuador and northern Peru and can be distinguished from other species of Enyalioides by its scattered, projecting large scales on the dorsum, flanks, and hind limbs, as well as a well-developed vertebral crest, with the vertebrals on the neck at least three times higher than those between the hind limbs. Enyalioidessophiarothschildaesp. n. is from the Amazonian slopes of the Cordillera Central in northeastern Peru; it differs from other species of Enyalioides in having caudal scales that are relatively homogeneous in size on each caudal segment, a white gular region with a black medial patch and several turquoise scales in males, as well as immaculate white labials and chin. A molecular phylogenetic tree of 18 species of hoplocercines is presented, including the three species described in this paper and Enyalioidescofanorum, as well as an updated identification key for species of Hoplocercinae. 相似文献
