The capacity of the spleen, bone marrow and thymus cells from CBA mice (intact, adrenalectomized, and those treated with single or repeated hydrocortisone injections) to induce the lymph node type of "graft-versus-host" reaction (GVHR) in (CBA X C57BL) F1 hybrid recipients was evaluated. Two days after 2.5 mg hydrocortisone injection the capacity of the spleen and bone marrow cells to induce GVHR increased while that of the thymus cells remained unchanged. Seven and particularly 15 days after hydrocortisone injection the spleen cells became less active. Two days following repeated daily hormone injections in a dose of 0.25 mg within 18 days the thymocyte activity in GVHR increased, while that of the spleen and bone marrow cells did not change.  相似文献

The i.v. injection of parental T cells into F1 hybrid mice can result in a graft-vs-host (GVH)-induced immune deficiency that is Ag nonspecific and of long duration. The effect of the GVH reaction (GVHR) on the host's immune system depends on the class of F1 MHC Ag recognized by the donor cells. To determine the role of different subsets of donor-derived T cells in the induction of GVHR, donor spleen cells were negatively selected by anti-T cell mAb and C, and the cells were injected into F1 mice that differed from the donor by both class I and II MHC Ag or by class I or class II MHC only. The induction of GVHR across class I + II differences was found to require both L3T4+ and Lyt-2+ parental cells. Induction of GVHR across a class II difference required only L3T4+ parental T cells in the combination tested [B6-into-(B6 x bm12)F1]. In contrast, B6 Lyt-2+ cells were sufficient to induce GVHR across a class I difference in (B6 x bm1)F1 recipients. In addition, a direct correlation was observed between the cell types required for GVH induction and the parental T cell phenotypes detected in the spleens of the GVH mice. The number of parental cells detected in the unirradiated F1 hosts was dependent upon the H-2 differences involved in the GVHR. Induction of a class I + class II GVHR resulted in abrogation of both TNP-self and allogeneic CTL responses. In contrast, induction of a class II GVHR resulted in only a selective loss of TNP-self but not of allogeneic CTL function. Unexpectedly, the induction of a class I GVHR also resulted in the selective loss of the TNP-self CTL response. Thus, these class I and class II examples of GVH both result in the selective abrogation of L3T4+ Th cell function. The data are discussed in terms of respective roles of killer cells and/or suppressor cells in the induction of host immune deficiency by a GVHR, and of the selective deficiency in host Th cell function induced by different classes of GVHR.  相似文献

An alcohol extract of calf spleen possessing the in vivo characteristics of a lymphoid chalone has already been shown to prevent or to control the acute graft versus host reaction (GVHR) in lethally irradiated F1 recipients, when given respectively to the parental cell donors or to the F1 recipients. The present experiments demonstrate the efficacy of the incubation of the donor cells with this extract on the prevention of GVHR, and shows that it selectively inactivates cells responsible for it.  相似文献

Lethally irradiated AKR mice were reconstituted with C57BL/6 bone marrow cells. Though the allogeneic marrow transplantation protected AKR recipients from acute irradiation deaths, the mice given unmanipulated marrow developed severe GVHR disease, and 80% died within 50 days. The thymus and spleen from the recipient mice, following recovery of body weight between the 10th and 20th days, gradually involuted and became miniscule after Day 30. Thymocytes from recipients were found to be entirely of donor cell type by Day 15. Thereafter, however, as the graft versus host reaction (GVHR) developed, changes in sensitivity of the thymocytes to four different alloantisera directed toward donor histocompatibility antigens (H-2b, Thy 1.2, Lyt 1.2, and Lyt 2.2) were observed and these changes were associated with changes in antigen expression or quantity of Thy 1 antigens on the thymocytes. A different pattern of changes was observed in antigen expression on thymocytes in mice given B6 marrow cells that had been pretreated with anti-Thy 1 serum which prevented initiation of graft-vs-host disease and in the mice which received marrow not so treated and which regularly led to graft-vs-host disease. By contrast, the amount of H-2 antigen on the thymocytes from chimeras with or without GVHR was elevated equally. The mechanisms of these changes are discussed.  相似文献

Background

The spleen has been implicated in the pathogenesis of immune-complex glomerulonephritis by initiating and resolving adaptive immune responses. Thus, we aimed to evaluate the role of the spleen in experimental nephrotoxic serum nephritis (NTS).

Methods

In order to accelerate the disease, animals were subjected to NTS by preimmunizing male C57BL/6J mice with rabbit IgG three days before injecting the rabbit anti-glomerular basement antiserum, or were immunized only. A group underwent splenectomy before NTS induction.

Results

We observed enlargement of the spleen with a maximum at 14 days after NTS induction or immunization only. Splenectomized mice were found to develop albuminuria and renal histological changes comparable to sham-operated controls. Nevertheless, anaemia was aggravated in mice after splenectomy. During the course of NTS, we detected CD41+ megakaryocytes and Ter119+ erythroid precursor cells in the spleen of mice with NTS and of immunized mice. Ter119+Cxcr4+ cells and the binding partner Cxcl12 increased in the spleen, and decreased in the bone marrow. This was accompanied by a significant systemic increase of interferon-gamma in the serum.

Conclusions

In summary, splenectomy does not influence the course of NTS per se, but is involved in concomitant anaemia. Extramedullary haematopoiesis in the spleen is probably facilitated through the migration of Cxcr4+ erythroid precursor cells from the bone marrow to the spleen via a Cxcl12 gradient and likely arises from the suppressive capacity of chronic inflammation on the bone marrow.  相似文献

The induction of tuberculin-type delayed hypersensitivity, as measured by skin test, can be specifically inhibited by administration of antibody during sensitization. The cellular mechanisms involved in this tolerance were investigated in CAP1 mice, using chicken conalbumin as antigen. Tolerance was prevented when mice were treated with Cyclophosphamide 2 days before sensitization and suppression. However, it was not affected by splenectomy 7 or 21 days before sensitization. This tolerance could be transferred to normal CAF1 mice with spleen cells, but not with thymocytes, when taken from donor mice 21 to 28 days after sensitization and tolerance induction. Production of these cells in the donors required both antibody and antigen. The cells responsible for the transfer were B cells, as shown by their sensitivity to rabbit anti-mouse-immunoglobulin serum and complement. In addition to B cells, serum from tolerant mice also could transfer suppression at 21 to 28 days. We conclude that sensitizing mice, and treating them with specific immunosuppressive antiserum, induces the recipients to make suppressor B cells and suppressive humoral factors, which are involved in arresting the induction of tuberculin-type delayed hypersensitivity.  相似文献

The trophoblast has a significant role in regulation of immune reactions at the materno-fetal interface by producing biologically active substances. In our previous studies five fractions with immunomodulatory activities were isolated by gel chromatography from trophoblast of pig placentas. To confirm the immunomodulatory effect of these trophoblast fractions on allogeneic in vivo systems and to obtain more evidence for the relevance of their activity on the maternofetal interface, their effect was studied on graft-versus-host reaction (GVHR). To assess the GVHR, the primary and secondary popliteal lymph nodes assay was used in mice. In the primary GVHR, 100 microg protein of Fraction 2-5, mixed with 5 x 10(6) allogeneic spleen cells (C57BL/6), were injected into one of the foot pads of recipient (BALB/c) mice. The secondary GVHR was induced in F1 (BALB/c x C57BL/6) mice by injection of spleen cells of BALB/c mice intraperitoneally preimmunized with allogeneic cells. The GVHR was measured by the weight of lymph nodes and by the lymphocyte proliferation. Flow cytometric analyses of the cells in the nodes with GVHR and under the influence of Fraction 4 or 5 were performed using monoclonal antibodies. In the primary GVHR, Fraction 4 or 5, injected simultaneously with allogeneic spleen cells, significantly suppressed the lymph nodes reactivity. Fractions 4 and 5 inhibited the ability of the spleen cells of mice intraperitoneally preimmunized with allogeneic cells to induce secondary GVHR in F1 mice. The Fraction 2 and 3 had no effect on GVHR. The results revealed that a group of proteins with Mr 37-7 kDa, isolated from trophoblast of pig placenta, strongly suppressed popliteal lymph node reactivity in the primary and secondary GVHR. The data provide convincing evidence for these fractions in vivo activity, for their effect across the species barrier and suggest the relevance of the same reactions on the materno-fetal interface.  相似文献

The graft versus host reaction (GVHR) was induced in mouse females-hybrids F1 (CBA X C57BL/6) by intravenous injection of suspension of the lymphoid cells of the spleen and of lymphoid nodes from C57BL/6 mouse females. Pregnancy resulted from interbreeding of the test females with syngenic males 1--5 days before, and 1--10, 10--20, 30--40 and more than 40 days after the moment of the lymphoid cells injection, aggravated the GVHR induced transplantation disease. At the same time the GVHR under these conditions decreased the percentage of pregnant animals and brought to child-bearing disfunction of the test animals (stillbirth, death of pregnant females, miscarriage). In some of the test mice aggravation of the GVHR was observed after delivery. Survival of the progeny decreased.  相似文献

A lethal graft-vs-host reaction (GVHR) was elicited by the injection into irradiated (700 rad) mice, reconstituted with T-depleted bone marrow cells (BM), of T lymphocytes incompatible for different loci of the major histocompatibility complex (MHC). The number of T cells needed to kill more than 50% of the recipients by day 40 was about 10(6) for GVHR elicited across the product of the K, D, or E locus, but about 10(5)--10--fold less-when the A locus was involved. The mortality was associated with a medullary aplasia in all strain combinations, but enteropathy was observed only in GVHR elicited by the products of class II, and not class I, loci. Mortality and medullary aplasia were diminished or absent in recipients reconstituted with BM cells from T cell donors instead of cells of the host genotype, which suggests a direct (cytolytic) T-hematopoietic cell interaction. Lymphoproliferation was evident within the host spleen and lymph node 5 days after injection of T lymphocytes incompatible for class II but not class I loci. Spleens from mice suffering from a lethal GVHR were examined by culture in limiting dilution to evaluate the frequency of anti-host T cells and to derive anti-host T cell clones and lines, whose properties were explored. In the GVHR elicited across the A or E region of the MHC, examined between days 7 and 19, a high frequency (10(-2] of anti-host cells was observed. The polyclonal cell lines isolated (16) all displayed MLR responsiveness, antigen-driven IL 2 production, and cytolysis for LPS blasts of the host genotype. However, among 13 clones isolated, two categories were observed: Lyt-2-, which were MLR responders and IL 2 producers (four of 13), and Lyt-2+, which were cytolytic but neither MLR responders nor IL 2 producers (nine of 13). In the GVHR elicited by the K or D region, examined between days 7 and 90, the frequency of anti-host cells was low (10(3) to 10(4], with a tendency to decrease during the progression of the disease. The lines (11) or clones (26) isolated from different mice were all Lyt-2+ and strongly cytolytic but proliferated poorly and produced no IL 2 in MLR. These findings suggest that the Lyt-2+ lymphocytes, recognizing the products of the class I loci, function in vivo without proliferation and without requiring helper T cells. Cell lines specific for class I or class II loci of the MHC produced interferon and colony-stimulating factors.  相似文献

Semiallogeneic chimeras were produced by injecting 3 X 10(7) spleen cells of mice CBA (H--2k, Mlsd) to lethally irradiated mice (CBA X C57BL/6)F1. Two days later recipients were given cyclophosphamide (CP), 2 mg per mouse, to prevent death of graft versus host reaction (GVHR). For 1.5--2 months after the creation of chimerism in 23 of 26 mice under study all cells producing antibodies to SRBC were represented by donor cells of H-2 phenotype; 3 mice were partial chimeras. Spontaneous blast transformation in the cultures of chimera spleen did not exceed the control level, and in the mixed lymphocyte culture chimera cells failed to proliferate on addition of irradiated lymphocytes (CBA X C57BL/6) F1. At the same time chimera gave intensive blast transformation to the irradiated lymphocytes of the third line of mice DBA/2 (H--2d, Mlsa). Among the chimera spleen cells no killers capable of destroying target cells of donor or recipient origin were revealed. Similar results were obtained in vivo: chimera cells gave no positive local GVHR after administration to mice (CBA X C57BL/6) F1. Prolonged chimerism was accompanied by a reactivity of donor T-lymphocytes to the recipient transplantation antigens. A blocking factor was revealed in the blood serum of chimeras. The substitution of donor lymphocytes for the recipient cells begins after 3 to 5 months. At the same period donor T-cell population reconstitutes partially the responsiveness to the recipient antigens and the blocking factor disappears from chimeras blood.  相似文献

Effects of thymectomy at various times after birth (Tx-1, Tx-3, Tx-7, Tx-14) on mixed lymphocyte reaction (MLR), cell-mediated cytotoxicity (CMC), and graft-versus-host reaction (GVHR) were examined by experiments with spleen cells obtained at 8 weeks of age. All of MLR, CMC, and GVHR were detected in spleen cells of Tx-14 mice. However, the ability of spleen cells to induce GVHR was abolished by thymectomy at 7 days after birth. On the other hand, MLR and CMC were not affected in such mice. In Tx-1 or Tx-3 mice, only MLR was detected in spleen cells. These results suggest that thymus dependency of T cells responsible for MLR are lower in their maturation than those for CMC and that thymus dependency of T cells responsible for GVHR are the highest among these T-cell subpopulations.  相似文献

Injection of 20×106 donor lymph node cells (LNCs) into newborn allogeneic recipients incompatible with donors at theIC subregion of the mouseH-2 complex evoked both GVH splenomegaly and GVH mortality. The strength or severity of the allogeneic reactions induced varied as a function of the interallelic strain combination and was influenced particularly by properties of the recipientIC determinants. Thus,IC s determinants on recipient cells led to strong GVHR, whileIC d determinants induced a moderate GVHR, even when donors carrying differentIC alleles were used. However, responder donor genes also affected the degree of GVHR in some combinations. The effect on donor GVH potential of pre-exposing B10 donors to antirecipient antiserum (B10 anti-B10.A) was also studied. Spleen cells from B10 donors pre-exposed to alloantiserum for two to seven days exhibited a markedly reduced ability to cause GVH splenomegaly and GVH disease in newborn B10. A or (B10. A × B10) F1 recipients. Inhibition of donor lymphocyte GVH potential waned eight to 14 days after antiserum pretreatment. Inhibition was shown to be specific for variousH-2 determinants and to be caused by antirecipient alloantibodies. Pre-exposure of donors to alloantiserum reduced the GVH potential of spleen cells but did not affect LNC reactivity.Ia antibodies and, to a lesser extent, anti-H-2D serum were shown to be able to inhibit GVHR. The results suggest that the observed reduction in donor GVH reactivity is caused by antibody-mediated central feedback inhibition. Anti-H-2 alloantibodies evidently play an important role in the network regulating allogeneic responses.  相似文献

Mechanisms by which donor-specific blood transfusion (DSBT) promotes organ allograft acceptance are unclear. In a rat fully mismatched cardiac allograft model, we found that DSBT alone (without immunotherapy) induces the development of regulatory T cells (DSBT-Tregs) posttransplant, thereby shedding new light in the mechanisms of the transfusion effect. Compartments and timing of expansion, requirements, and phenotype of DSBT-Tregs are unknown. It is generally assumed that some time is necessary before Tregs develop. However, we show-by adoptive transfer from DSBT-tolerant into naive recipients: 1) the presence of DSBT-Tregs at 5 days posttransplant in spleen and lymph nodes; 2) their gradual expansion in these compartments; and 3) their presence in the graft 14 of 30 days posttransplant. DSBT-Tregs are donor specific and do not protect third-party allografts. Splenocytes from DSBT-treated nontransplanted recipients or from transplanted DSBT-untreated (rejecting) recipients do not transfer tolerance, indicating that both DSBT and graft are required for sufficient numbers of DSBT-Tregs to develop. Thymectomy (or splenectomy) before DSBT (not at transplantation) abrogate DSBT-Tregs generation and tolerance, showing that thymus (and spleen) are required for DSBT-Tregs generation (not for expansion/maintenance). In contrast with other Tregs models, DSBT-Tregs activity is not restricted to CD4(+)CD25(+) but to CD4(+)CD45RC(-) cells, whereas CD4(+)CD45RC(+) cells act as effector cells and accelerate rejection. In conclusion, DSBT alone induces-rapidly posttransplant-the development of alloantigen-specific Tregs in lymphoid tissues and in the graft. DSBT, graft, thymus, and spleen are required for DSBT-Tregs generation. DSBT-Tregs in this model are CD4(+)CD45RC(-) (identical to Tregs protecting from autoimmunity in rats).  相似文献

The effect of splenectomy on the development of newborn thymus and spleen grafted under the kidney capsule of young and old mice has been investigated. Preliminary splenectomy is shown to increase cell counts in grafted spleen that is more conspicuous in young recipients as compared with old ones. This result suggests a decrease with age in the inhibitory effect of the host spleen on the maturation of spleen grafted from newborn donor. Combined transplantation of newborn thymus and spleen has revealed a decrease of cell counts in the donor spleen grafted to the young splenectomized recipients and, on the contrary, increase of this parameter in old ones. Immune response in donor spleen with combined transplantation of the thymus to the old splenectomized recipients is much higher as compared with the same parameter in recipient without splenectomy. It is concluded that partial destruction of the old immune system is essential for its correction.  相似文献

Studies of lymphoproliferation in MRL-lpr/lpr mice   总被引:6,自引:0,他引:6
MRL-lpr/lpr mice develop massive lymphoproliferation and an associated autoimmune process that includes anti-DNA formation, vasculitis, and glomerulonephritis. We have investigated the lymphoproliferation of MRL-lpr/lpr mice and have found that multiple factors are operative. Although neonatal thymectomy markedly retards the syndrome, chronic injection of poly rI.rC could substitute for the thymus. The resulting cells had the phenotype characteristic of the abnormal MRL-lpr/lpr T cells, Thy-1+, dull Ly-1+, Lyt-2-, 6B2+, Ig-. Splenectomy at 2 wk of age markedly retarded the development of this syndrome; however, splenectomy at birth did not. Some protection was afforded by splenectomy at 5 wk. Thus, there appears to be a critical period in the life of an MRL-lpr/lpr mouse when the spleen contributes importantly to the lymphoproliferation. A most remarkable observation was that an MRL-lpr/lpr spleen graft under the kidney capsule could induce lymphadenopathy characteristic of lpr/lpr mice in MRL +/+ recipients. Cells within the graft had to be able to proliferate for the adenopathy to occur because irradiation of the spleen with 800 R just before grafting abrogated the lymphadenopathy-inducing potential. No adenopathy was induced by +/+ spleen grafts placed into +/+ mice. Although MRL-lpr/lpr males develop disease slightly more slowly than female littermates, the differences are small. Manipulations that retard disease, such as splenectomy at 2 wk or neonatal thymectomy, magnified the sex differences. Male MRL-lpr/lpr mice that were thymectomized and splenectomized and given polyclonal immune activators failed to develop either anti-DNA or lymphadenopathy, whereas their female littermates expressed both abnormalities. We conclude from these studies that multiple factors serve to modulate the magnitude of the lymphoproliferation and autoimmune syndrome of MRL-lpr/lpr mice.  相似文献

Protection against experimental allergic encephalomyelitis (EAE) was induced in susceptible mice of (SJL/J X BALB/c)F1 hybrid, by injection of either mouse spinal cord homogenate, the small mouse basic protein, or Cop 1 in incomplete Freund's adjuvant, before EAE induction. It was demonstrated that the unresponsiveness induced by the three antigens is mediated by suppressor T cells residing in the spleen cell population and can be adoptively transferred to normal syngeneic recipients. Low dose of cyclophosphamide (20 mg/kg) administered 2 days before the encephalitogenic challenge abrogated the unresponsiveness to EAE and reverted the protected mice sensitive to disease induction. Cyclophosphamide was also active on adoptively transferred unresponsiveness, thus donors that had been treated with cyclophosphamide were unable to further transfer unresponsiveness to EAE. These results indicate the elimination by cyclophosphamide of suppressor cells that interfere with the effector mechanisms leading to EAE.  相似文献

Establishment of unresponsiveness in primed B lymphocytes in vivo   总被引:3,自引:0,他引:3
As an approach to examine the influence of the state of cellular activation on the ability to tolerize B cells, the induction of unresponsiveness in human gamma-globulin-(HGG) primed B lymphocytes was studied in an adoptive transfer system. In contrast to transferred normal spleen cells, spleen cells from HGG-primed mice are not readily rendered unresponsive when exposed to the tolerogen, deaggregated HGG (DHGG), in irradiated recipients. A kinetic study showed that unfractionated primed spleen cells do not respond to an antigenic challenge given between 6 and 10 days after cell transfer and injection of DHGG, indicating that they are transiently depressed. In contrast, isolated primed B cells are tolerized when transferred to recipients and treated with DHGG in the absence of T cells. Furthermore, primed B cells exposed to tolerogen in the recipients do not recover the ability to respond to HGG either after a secondary challenge with AHGG given up to 14 days after transfer, or after 2 consecutive challenges given on days 14 and 24 after transfer. The presence of primed T cells at the time of tolerization interferes with the induction of unresponsiveness in these primed B cells. These studies suggest that the presence of primed T cells is responsible for the inability to tolerize unfractionated primed spleen cells populations and that primed B cells themselves are not intrinsically resistant to the induction of unresponsiveness.  相似文献

Graft rejection presents a major obstacle for transplantation of T cell-depleted bone marrow in HLA-mismatched patients. In a primate model, after conditioning exactly as for leukemia patients, it was shown that over 99% of the residual host clonable T cells are concentrated in the spleen on day 5 after completion of cytoreduction. We have now corroborated these findings in a mouse model. After 9-Gy total body irradiation (TBI), the total number of Thy-1.2+ cells in the spleen reaches a peak between days 3 and 4 after TBI. The T cell population is composed of both L3T4 (helper) and Lyt-2 (suppressor) T cells, the former being the major subpopulation. Specific booster irradiation to the spleen (5 Gy twice) on days 2 and 4 after TBI greatly enhances production of donor-type chimera after transplantation of T cell-depleted allogeneic bone marrow. Similar enhancement can be achieved by splenectomy on day 3 or 4 after TBI but not if splenectomy is performed 1 day before TBI or 1 day after TBI, strengthening the hypothesis that, after lethal TBI in mice, the remaining host T cells migrate from the periphery to the spleen. These results suggest that a delayed booster irradiation to the spleen may be beneficial as an additional immunosuppressive agent in the conditioning of leukemia patients, in order to reduce the incidence of bone marrow allograft rejection.  相似文献

Induction of experimental autoimmune thyroiditis in IL-12-/- mice   总被引:24,自引:0,他引:24
Granulomatous experimental autoimmune thyroiditis (G-EAT) is induced by transfer of mouse thyroglobulin (MTg)-sensitized spleen cells activated in vitro with MTg and anti-IL-2R or MTg and IL-12. Previous work suggested that IL-12 was required in vitro for development of G-EAT. To determine whether IL-12 was also required during the induction and/or effector phases, DBA/1 mice with a disrupted IL-12-P40 gene (IL-12(-/-)) were used for EAT induction. Cells from MTg-sensitized IL12(-/-) donors activated in vitro by MTg or MTg and anti-IL2R induced severe EAT in recipient mice. Compared with effector cells from IL-12(+/+) donors, effector cells from IL-12(-/-) donors induced thyroid lesions dominated by lymphocytes with minimal granulomatous changes. Thyroids of recipients of IL-12(-/-) cells expressed less IFN-gamma mRNA and more TGF-beta, IL-4, and IL-10 compared with recipients of IL-12(+/+) cells. When IL-12 was added during in vitro activation, cells from both IL-12(-/-) and IL-12(+/+) donors induced severe G-EAT, and expression of all cytokines except IL-12 was comparable in thyroids of both IL-12(+/+) and IL-12(-/-) recipients. Transfer of cells from IL-12(+/+) or IL-12(-/-) donors into IL-12(+/+) or IL-12(-/-) recipients indicated that IL-12 expressed in thyroids was derived from recipients. Thus, endogenous IL-12 is not absolutely essential for the sensitization and activation of EAT effector cells to induce severe EAT, although it is required in vitro to promote activation of cells to induce severe granulomatous histopathology.  相似文献

Intracardiac injection of lymph node cells into newborn allogeneic recipients incompatible with congenic donors at multiple loci within theH-2 complex (B10B10.A) led to GVH splenomegaly, retarded growth, and mortality. In contrast,H-2I region differences [B10.A(4R)B10.A(2R)] required fortyfold more cells to produce a comparable splenomegaly, and did not produce runting or GVH mortality despite a strong proliferative response in the spleen. However, when 4R donors were preimmunized with host lymphoid cells, 51 percent of 2R recipients died of allogeneic disease. GVHR was also observed in the reciprocal combination (2R4R), in contrast to previous reports. The phenotypic determinants governing GVHR in the 4R2R combination are probably coded for byI-C subregion genes. Disparities at theI-B orI-J subregions did not evoke detectable GVHR. The data indicate thatI-C subregion loci have the impact of so-called minor or moderate histocompatibility (MoH) loci. Possible implications for allogeneic human bone marrow transplantation are discussed.Portions of this work were presented at the 60th annual meeting of the Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology on April 13, 1976 in Anaheim, California  相似文献
