【目的】为摸清堤坝土埝中氯化钠对黑翅土白蚁Odontotermes formosanus Shiraki生存的影响,合理确定防治黑翅土白蚁危害堤坝的氯化钠含量值,确保堤坝工程安全运行。【方法】选取有黑翅土白蚁生存和无黑翅土白蚁生存两类堤坝的土埝,进行土埝中氯化钠含量的测试。【结果】有黑翅土白蚁生存的堤坝土埝氯化钠含量在0.02%以下,无黑翅土白蚁生存的堤坝土埝氯化钠含量在0.19%以上。【结论】研究成果对黑翅土白蚁危害堤坝的防治具有很好的实用价值。  相似文献

三明地区林木白蚁种类、分布及危害的调查   总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4  
在三明全区范围内设点普查,得知共有林木白蚁2科9属22种,其中中华葫白蚁、海南大白蚁、普见家白蚁、大头家白蚁、高山散白蚁为福建省首次发现危害林木。黄翅大白蚁、闽华歪白蚁、大近歪白蚁、歪白蚁、中华葫白蚁、小象白蚁、海南大白蚁、普见家白蚁、大头象白蚁、蛋头蔡白蚁、黄肢散白蚁、高额散白蚁、高山散白仪、细颏散白蚁、武宫散白蚁、尖唇异白蚁为本地区首次发现危害林木。三明地区白蚁优势种有黑翅土白蚁、黄翅大白蚁和家白蚁。黑翅土白蚁等白蚁对林木造成严重危害,已成为当前林业生产中的一大难题。三明地区林木白蚁区系分布有以下特点:1)林木白蚁种类多,分布广泛,危害较为普遍;2)土白蚁、大白蚁是危害林木的主要类别;3)全区范围白蚁发生情况是由北向南蚁种延增,危害趋重。  相似文献

家白蚁Coptotermes formosanus Skiraki和黑翅土白蚁Odontotermes formosanus(Skiraki)在我国是分布广,为害大的二种重要害虫。家白蚁危害建筑材料、房屋、橡胶、塑料、地下电缆、尼龙等有机合成材料,部分金属和农林作物,危害涉及到国民经济各个部门;而黑翅土白蚁严重地为害堤坝,我国南方各省水库堤坝为害率达53—92%,严重地区发生漏水的占20%,为害农林作物亦很严重。对它们的生物学和生态学特性及防治方法,国内外已有不少研究报道,但对它的生殖行为、孵化、脱皮习性,目前尚少有较系统的资料。因此,本试验试图通过家白蚁和黑翅土白蚁初期群体的形成,进行较详细的观察,为深入探讨白蚁的生物学和生态学特性提供真实依据。  相似文献

前言 我国南方诸省危害土质堤坝的主要白蚁危害种,一般多为黑翅土白蚁Odontotermes formosanus(Shiraki),其次是黄翅大白蚁Macrotemes barneyi Light。然而也有些水库则以黄翅大白蚁为主,如广东湛江志满水库1982年据分群孔普查出黄翅大白蚁21巢,其中分群孔图象标记清楚的有12巢例;黑翅土白蚁只有一巢例;海南土白蚁7巢例;黄翅大白蚁占该坝白蚁危害种数的72.41%。 为提供堤坝白蚁找巢技术,从1978—1982年对黄翅大白蚁的分群孔分布图象与主巢方位的关系进行了研究。  相似文献

为筛选出高效防治黑翅土白蚁的天然植物精油,减少有机合成农药的使用,该文研究了大蒜精油、肉桂油、丁香油和印楝素油四种植物精油对黑翅土白蚁的触杀效果和驱避作用。结果表明:大蒜精油、肉桂油和丁香油的浓度为5和10 mg·m L~(-1)时,处理2 h后,黑翅土白蚁的校正死亡率达100%,而相同浓度的印楝素油和对照处理的黑翅土白蚁校正死亡率低于5%。随着处理时间延长,浓度为1.25和2.5 mg·m L~(-1)的大蒜精油、肉桂油和丁香油处理6 h时,黑翅土白蚁的校正死亡率仍达100%,而此时对应的印楝素油和对照处理的黑翅土白蚁校正死亡率仅为10%,说明大蒜精油、肉桂油和丁香油对黑翅土白蚁具有较强的触杀效果。大蒜精油、丁香油和肉桂油在处理黑翅土白蚁2 h后LC_(50)值(半致死量)分别为1.572、1.05和1.03mg·m L~(-1),说明肉桂油对黑翅土白蚁的毒性相对最大,触杀效果最好。此外,10 mg·m L~(-1)的大蒜精油、肉桂油、丁香油和印楝素油的驱避试验表明,处理4、6、8和12 h后,大蒜精油、肉桂油和丁香油三精油处理区的黑翅土白蚁数均显著低于对照区的,驱避率总体93%,而对应的印楝素油的驱避率总体28.5%,表明大蒜精油、丁香油和肉桂油三种植物精油对黑翅土白蚁均有显著的驱避活性。综上可知,四种植物精油中大蒜精油、肉桂油和丁香油在防治黑翅土白蚁方面应用潜力很好,是开发绿色环保白蚁防治药剂的可选材料。  相似文献

2010年7月~2012年10月对南宁市隆安县板栗园的白蚁种类及危害情况进行调查,结果表明:板栗园的白蚁种类隶属2科8属16种,以白蚁科的种类占的比例较大,共有6属14种,种类数占875%;鼻白蚁科有2属2种,种类数占125%。危害板栗树的白蚁种类有7种,其中小头钩白蚁Ancistrotermes dimorphus、黄翅大白蚁Macrotermes barneyi、土垄大白蚁Macrotermes annandalei和黑翅土白蚁Odontotermes formosanus是危害板栗树的主要种类;平形土白蚁Odontotermes parallelus、细齿大白蚁Macrotermes denticulatus、平头大白蚁Macrotermes planicapitatus、梅多大白蚁Macrotermes meidoensis、方头亮白蚁 Euhamitermes quadratceps、扬子江近扭白蚁Pericapritermes jangtsekiangensis、五指山近扭白蚁Pericapritermes Wuzhishanensis、合浦近扭白蚁Pericapritermes hepuensis和中华钩扭白蚁Pseudocapritermes sinensis等9种白蚁在板栗园中有分布,但不危害板栗树,其中梅多大白蚁及五指山近扭白蚁2个种属广西新记录种。板栗树受白蚁为害较严重的阶段主要在老龄时期,老龄板栗树的受害株率达到9265%,严重受害株率达到7918%。  相似文献

[目的]为了开发一种高效环保型白蚁饵剂.[方法]选定烯啶虫胺和溴虫腈对黑翅土白蚁Odontotermes formosanus进行室内毒力测定,根据室内毒力测定结果筛选毒力较高药剂进行驱避试验,并制备3种不同剂量的肠衣饵剂,开展室内白蚁毒杀效果试验和园林白蚁防治效果试验;选用合适剂量肠衣饵剂进行堤坝黑翅土白蚁诱杀试验,并用挖巢法检测肠衣饵剂对堤坝黑翅土白蚁的诱杀效果.[结果]1.6tg/mL烯啶虫胺处理黑翅土白蚁72 h后校正死亡率达100%,16 μtg/mL溴虫腈处理72 h后黑翅土白蚁校正死亡率也达到100%.室内毒力测定结果表明烯啶虫胺对黑翅土白蚁的LC5o值低于溴虫腈,100 μtg/mL烯啶虫胺处理8h后对黑翅土白蚁无显著驱避作用.3种剂量烯啶虫胺肠衣饵剂处理72 h后,黑翅土白蚁校正死亡率均在60%以上.将不同剂量的烯啶虫胺肠衣饵剂投放到园林中45 d后,肠衣饵剂基本被食空,施药点周围无白蚁及活动迹象.在福建省水库大坝周围投放60 μtg/g烯啶虫胺肠衣饵剂,3个月后肠衣饵剂未发霉且基本被食空,6个月后挖巢发现蚁道内无黑翅土白蚁活动,白蚁巢体出现死亡和坍塌情况.[结论]60 μg/g烯啶虫胺肠衣饵剂对园林和堤坝中的黑翅土白蚁具有良好的诱杀效果,是一种高效环保型白蚁肠衣饵剂.  相似文献

黑翅土白蚁Odontotermes formosanus(Shiraki)是经济害虫之一,它常筑巢于水库和河堤的土质内危害堤坝,引起渗漏,甚至酿成塌堤垮坝,造成人民生命则产的严重损失。 外界环境温度对巢位深、巢体结构复杂、调节温湿度能力强的黑翅土白蚁成年巢群影响较小,但对入土筑巢位置浅、巢体结构简单的黑翅土白蚁初建巢群的生长、发育、繁殖、巢内白蚁个体数量变动等则影响较大。到目前止,国内外这方面的研究不多。本试验研究不同温度条件对黑翅土白蚁初建群体生长、发育、繁殖等方面的影响,这对深入了解其初建群体的生长发育规律及其初建巢群的控制方面有一定意义。  相似文献

To identify subterranean termite species, we designed a pair of common primers that amplified 381-bp fragments from cDNAs encoding the endo-beta-1,4-glucanases (EGases) of Coptotermes formosanus Shiraki and Reticulitermes speratus (Kolbe). cDNAs from C. formosanus and R. speratus, and genomic DNA from R. speratus, were amplified by polymerase chain reaction (PCR) by using this primer pair and then cloned and sequenced. Sequences amplified from C.formosanus cDNA displayed 97-99% identity to cDNA encoding the EGase of C. formosanus (CfEG), and 92-94% identity to cDNA encoding the EGase of R. speratus (RsEG). By contrast, cDNA from R. speratus displayed 99-100% identity to RsEG cDNA and 93-94% identity to CfEG cDNA. CfEG and RsEG cDNAs can therefore be used as markers for the identification of these termite species. This is the first report of the successful identification of termite species by using cDNA and genomic DNA sequences of termite origin.  相似文献

2009年311月对南宁市园林树木白蚁为害情况进行了调查。结果表明,台湾乳白蚁Coptotermes formosanus Shiraki是危害园林树木的优势种;调查的57种树木中,45种树木受到了白蚁的侵害,占总数的78.95%,树木受害株率达13.11%,严重受害株率为1.66%。银桦、侧柏和樟树等树种受白蚁危害最为严重。  相似文献

在广西南宁市调查台湾乳白蚁Coptotermes formosanus Shiraki对园林绿化树木的危害情况及其筑巢规律。结果表明,在调查的57种树木中,有44种树木受到台湾乳白蚁的侵害,占调查树种的77.19%,树木受害株率13.38%,严重受害株率1.63%。侧柏Thuja arientalis、荫香Cinnamomum burmannii和银桦Grevillea robusta的严重受害率最高,分别为15.85%、13.43%和11.11%。台湾乳白蚁筑巢对树木种类有明显的选择性,可在树心筑巢的树种有16种,隶属于11科14属,其中筑巢率较高的树种为荫香、侧柏、银桦和桂花树Osmanthus fragrans,分别占所调查树木的16.42%、15.85%、11.11%和10.91%;其次为樟树Cinnamonaom camphora、大叶桉Eucalyptus robusta和白千层Melaleuca leucadendta,筑巢率分别为7.98%、5.76%和3.42%。  相似文献

Among cellulase genes, those of animals are known for their difficulty in overexpression. We constructed a chimeric library by family shuffling of endo-beta-1,4-glucanase genes from four different termite species (Reticulitermes speratus, Nasutitermes takasagoensis, Coptotermes formosanus, and Coptotermes acinaciformis) sharing 78.5-96% homology in amino acid sequence. The constructed library was screened by Congo red plate assay combined with 96-well micro-enzyme assay, and clones showing enhanced CMCase activities were obtained. The mutated genes were overexpressed in Escherichia coli intracellularly as an active form. The endo-beta-1,4-glucanase (CMCase) activity in soluble fractions of E. coli harboring the mutant genes was 20-30 fold higher than that of wild-type genes. The mutant enzyme showed high activity against CMC and properties similar to those of the native enzymes.  相似文献

Costs associated with subterranean termite damage and control are estimated to approach $2 billion annually in the United States alone. The Formosan subterranean termite, Coptotermes formosanus Shiraki, is one of the more economically important subterranean species. In recent years, the shortcomings associated with conventional chemical control methods have prompted policymakers and scientists to evaluate the potential for biological control of subterranean termites (C. formosanus in particular), that is, to determine the potential for natural enemies - predators, parasitoids and pathogens - to suppress termite populations. Ants are the greatest predators of termites, and may have a considerable local impact on termite populations in some areas of the world. A few parasitoids of termites are known, but their potential for regulating termite populations seems negligible. Characteristics of the colony, such as a protected, underground location (and, for the C. formosanus nest, its modular and dispersed nature), are likely to limit the impact predators and parasitoids have on subterranean termites. Thus, there seems little potential for use of these agents for subterranean termite control. For various reasons, pathogenic organisms, such as viruses, bacteria, Protozoa, nematodes and most fungi, have shown little promise for use in biological termite control. However, research suggests that strains of two well-studied, endoparasitic fungi, Beauveria bassiana and Metarhizium anisopliae, when employed in baiting schemes, may offer the potential for at least some measure of subterranean termite control, although their successful use is compromised by a number of inherent biological limitations and logistical problems that have yet to be solved. Although not strictly in the realm of classical biological control, recent studies suggest that natural products, such as ant semiochemicals and fungal metabolites (siderophores), or their synthetic analogues, eventually might find a use in termite control programmes as repellents or insecticides in wood treatments or soil applications if stable formulations can be developed.  相似文献

Three foam board types, one untreated control, one containing 2,000 ppm disodium octaborate tetrahydrate (DOT), and one containing 1,000 ppm deltamethrin, were exposed to field populations of the eastern subterranean termite, Reticulitermes flavipes (Kollar), and the Formosan subterranean termite, Coptotermes formosanus Shiraki. There was no significant difference in termite damage between foam boards treated with 2,000 ppm DOT and the untreated control. Form boards containing 1,000 ppm deltamethrin were not damaged by R. flavipes, whereas only minor damage occurred after exposure to C. formosanus.  相似文献

The Formosan subterranean termite, Coptotermes formosanus Shiraki, is an aggressive, invasive termite species that has caused billions of dollars of damage across the United States for the past 50 years. Termites depend on intestinal microorganisms for cellulose digestion. Symbiotic microorganisms in the termite gut play key physiological functions such as cellulose and hemicellulose digestion, acetogenesis, hydrogenesis, methanogenesis, sulfate reduction, and nitrogen fixation. Additionally, intestinal microbes create suitable conditions for symbiotic protozoans through the production of nutrients and the maintenance of the pH and the anaerobic conditions in the gut. Although extensive research has been done on the symbiotic relationship of these termites and the microbes found in its gut, there is little information available on the role of facultative anaerobes in the gut. We isolated four enteric bacteria from the hindgut of Formosan subterranean termite, C. formosanus. All isolates were facultative anaerobes and G-. The isolates were identified as Serratia marcescens, Enterobacter aerogens, Enterobacter cloacae, and Citrobacter farmeri by using BIOLOG assay and fatty acid methyl ester analysis (FAME). Each isolate was characterized using sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and biochemical study. This is the first report on the presence of facultative microbes in termite gut. Results of this first study on facultative microbes in the termite gut indicate that the role of facultative organisms in the Formosan termite gut may be to scavenge oxygen and create anaerobic conditions for the anaerobic microorganisms, which are essential for digestion of cellulose consumed by the termite.  相似文献

Termites (Isoptera) have often been proposed as decomposers oflignocellulosic waste, such as paper products, while termite biomass could be harvested for food supplements. Groups of Coptotermes formosanus Shiraki and Reticulitermes speratus (Kolbe) were kept for 4 and 8 wk, respectively, in the laboratory and given up to 10 different types of paper as their food source. Paper consumption, survival, caste composition, and lipid content were recorded. Corrugated cardboard was by far the most consumed paper product, although survival on it was not necessarily favorable. In R. speratus, lipid reserves and neotenic numbers were quite high, but no breeding occurred. Cardboard may be the "junk food" equivalent for termites. Within the tested period, termites did not perform well on paper products that form the bulk of waste paper--corrugated cardboard, newsprint, and pamphlets and magazines. On all paper products (except recycled office paper), neotenic reproductives were formed, but larvae were observed only on kraft pulp and tissue paper. That all waste paper products contain lignocellulosic fibers does not automatically make them suitable for decomposition by termites. Each paper product has to be assessed on its own merit to see whether termites can reproduce on this diet, if it were to be a candidate for sustainable "termidegradation" and termite biomass production.  相似文献
