云南澜沧江流域土地利用和覆盖变化   总被引:10,自引:0,他引:10  
由人类活动引起的土地利用和地被覆盖的变化是地球上环境变化的主要原因。上世纪90年代是云南省经济发展和环境变化的活跃时期。本文通过现代卫星遥感技术、地理信息系统和其它多学科手段相结合 ,系统调查评估了云南澜沧江流域 1990年至 1998年间土地利用和地被覆盖的变化 ,结果显示流域中林业用地面积从 1990年的 6 4 9%增长到 1998年的6 6 4 % ,但是森林有林地 (郁闭度 >30 %的天然林和人工林 )从 1990年的 5 2 6 %减少到 1998年的 35 3%。并且分析大规模商业性森林砍伐、基础建设、经济作物的种植、刀耕火种、薪材过度采集和砍伐建筑用材等引起了森林的结构的显著变化和退化 ,从而导致了生物多样性的下降。  相似文献

Non-point-sources of nitrogen (N) and phosphorus (P) are recognized as major causes of eutrophication of surface waters. Adoption of policies to reduce pollution in the former German Democratic Republic following re-unification of Germany in 1990 provided an opportunity to examine how taking agricultural land out of production affected nutrient loads and aquatic biota in a small rural watershed. Between 1994 and 1996, soluble reactive phosphorus (SRP) and dissolved inorganic nitrogen (DIN) loads in a first-order agricultural stream decreased by >90% while instream concentrations decreased by 89% for DIN and 40% for SRP. This reduction in nutrients coincided with a decrease in precipitation (from 760 to 440 mm between 1994 and 1996) and an increase in the area of land set aside from agricultural production (from 0.3% in 1990 to a maximum of 8% in 1994). The biomass of primary producers (episammic algae) showed no clear response to this decrease in nutrient concentrations. However, benthic invertebrate composition shifted from a chironomid–amphipod to an oligochaete–gastropod dominated community in response to the decrease in DIN and changes in episammic algal abundance and sediment organic carbon concentrations. Results from our 4-year study showed reductions in soil nutrient losses combined with less precipitation resulted in less P and N in a rural stream and a change in benthic invertebrate community composition and abundance.  相似文献

We quantified how sample size influences the variation of the diversity of caddisfly assemblages among different levels of a stream habitat hierarchy. Caddisflies were collected using a Surber sampler and these Surber units were used in a computer algorithm to generate samples in a variety of sample sizes. Our results show that the sample size has a primary role on how the variation of diversity among the levels of the habitat hierarchy is distributed. Thus, a practical implication of this study is that projects using different number of replicate samples cannot be directly compared. We built empirical models to estimate the effects of land cover on stream ecosystems in the mid-Atlantic region (USA) and to evaluate the spatial scales over which such models are most effective. Predictive variables included land cover in the watershed, in the streamside corridor, and near the study site, and the number and location of dams and point sources in the watershed. Response variables were annual nitrate flux; species richness of fish, benthic macroinvertebrates, and aquatic plants; and cover of aquatic plants and riparian vegetation. All data were taken from publicly available databases, mostly over the Internet. Land cover was significantly correlated with all ecological response variables. Modeled R2 ranged from 0.07 to 0.5, but large data sets often allowed us to estimate with acceptable precision the regression coefficients that express the change in ecological conditions associated with a unit change in land cover. Dam- and point-source variables were ineffective at predicting ecological conditions in streams and rivers, probably because of inadequacies in the data sets. The spatial perspective (whole watershed, streamside corridor, or local) most effective at predicting ecological response variables varied across response variables, apparently in concord with the mechanisms that control each of these variables. We found some evidence that predictive power fell in very small watersheds (less than 1–10 km2), suggesting that the spatial arrangement of landscape patches may become critical at these small scales. Empirical models can replace, constrain, or be combined with more mechanistic models to understand the effects of land-cover change on stream ecosystems. Present address for L.C. Effects of snow cover on the benthic fauna in a glacier-fed stream   总被引:4,自引:0,他引:4  
1. Alpine streams above the tree line are covered by snow for 6–9 months a year. However, winter dynamics in these streams are poorly known. The annual patterns of macroinvertebrate assemblages were studied in a glacial stream in the Austrian Alps, providing information on conditions under the snow.
2. Snow cover influenced water temperature, the content of benthic organic matter and insect development. Taxa richness and abundance of macroinvertebrates did not show a pronounced seasonal pattern. The duration of the autumn period with stable stream beds was important in determining the abundance and composition of the winter fauna.
3. There were significant differences in species composition between summer and winter. Two potential strategies in larval survival were evident: adaptation to the extreme abiotic conditions in summer (e.g. Diamesa spp.) or avoidance of these conditions and development during winter (e.g. Ephemeroptera and Plecoptera).
4. A comparison of a stream reach with continuous snow cover and a stream reach that remained open throughout winter showed that conditions under snow are suboptimal. At the open stream site, with higher water temperatures and greater food supply (benthic organic matter content), abundance and taxa richness was higher and larval growth was faster. Several taxa were found exclusively at this site.
5. Winter conditions did not provide an entirely homogeneous environment, abiotic conditions changed rapidly, especially at the onset of snowfall and at snowmelt. Continuous monitoring is necessary to recognize spatial and temporal heterogeneity in winter environments and the fauna of alpine streams.  相似文献

This article focuses on possible geochemical consequences of potential industrial activities in the deep sea, such as manganese nodule mining, for the heavy metal cycle of the deep sea and possible reactions of the benthic ecosystem. The metal fluxes induced by sediment resuspension are compared with fluvial, atmospheric, and hydrothermal metal fluxes into the ocean. The results of geochemical laboratory experiments and analyses of deep‐sea benthic organisms are discussed with respect to their ecological importance in case of a seabed disturbance. A limited short‐term increase of heavy metal concentrations in the benthic layer will probably cause only negligible harmful effects on the biota. An essential precondition is that the geochemical milieu remains largely unchanged; especially variations of the redox conditions would result in changes in metal speciation, bioavailability, and toxicity.  相似文献

We examined patterns of dissolved organic carbon (DOC) and total dissolved nitrogen (TDN) loading to a small urban stream during baseflow and stormflow. We hypothesized that lower DOC and TDN contributions from impervious surfaces would dilute natural hydrologic flowpath (i.e., riparian) contributions during storm events in an urban watershed, resulting in lower concentrations of DOC and TDN during storms. We tested these hypotheses in a small urban watershed in Portland, Oregon, over a 3-month period during the spring of 2003. We compared baseflow and stormflow chemistry using Mann–Whitney tests (significant at p<0.05). We also applied a mass balance to the stream to compare the relative significance of impervious surface contributions versus riparian contributions of DOC and TDN. Results showed a significant increase in stream DOC concentrations during stormflows (median baseflow DOC = 2.00 mg l−1 vs. median stormflow DOC = 3.46 mg l−1). TDN streamwater concentrations, however, significantly decreased with stormflow (median baseflow TDN = 0.75 mg l−1 vs. median stormflow TDN = 0.56 mg l−1). During storms, remnant riparian areas contributed 70–74% of DOC export and 38–35% of TDN export to the stream. The observed pattern of increased DOC concentrations during stormflows in this urban watershed was similar to patterns found in previous studies of forested watersheds. Results for TDN indicated that there were relatively high baseflow nitrogen concentrations in the lower watershed that may have partially masked the remnant riparian signal during stormflows. Remnant riparian areas were a major source of DOC and TDN to the stream during storms. These results suggest the importance of preserving near-stream riparian areas in cities to maintain ambient carbon and nitrogen source contributions to urban streams.  相似文献

A brief review of the historical development of metal mixture interaction analyses is presented. The two major classifications of mixture models are outlined, the “Concentration Addition” and the “Response Addition” approaches. Within these two categories, a number of graphical, mathematical and statistical methods have been used, such as the toxic unit approach, relative potencies, toxicity equivalence factors, and dose-response relationships that have been described using several methods such as probit, logit, and regression analyses. A database was generated to evaluate the frequency of occurrence of less than additive, strictly additive, and more than additive responses to metal mixture effects reported in the literature. The three responses occurred at 43, 27, and 29%, respectively. The database is available electronically from the lead author. The research required to determine the most appropriate methods to quantify the effects of metal mixtures in an ecological risk assessment (ERA) framework is discussed. Until this research is completed, ERAs should use existing models such as the toxic unit or the effects addition approach. Bioaccumulation measurements by organisms for which the accumulation to response relationship is known would also be a useful complement.  相似文献

基于王东沟流域1994和2004年两期土地利用图,通过构建土地利用动态变化模型和区域生态环境指标,定量分析了王东沟流域1994--2004年土地利用时空变化特征,并以生态系统服务功能衡量了土地利用类型和土地利用变化类型的生态效应.结果表明,1994—2004年王东沟流域农地大幅度减少,草地和果园大量增加,林地和非生产地变化不大;变化速度依次为草地〉果园〉非生产地〉农地〉林地;土地利用变化类型多样,农地转出和林地转入是其主要类型;土地利用的空间迁移方向为农地和果园向西北方向迁移(塬区),林地和草地向东南方向(沟壑区)迁移.1994--2004年土地利用变化带来了良好的生态效益,但不同土地类型和不同土地变化类型的生态效应不同,提高和降低生态系统服务功能的作用并存.农地减少对生态环境产生负面作用,林草和果园的增加改善了生态环境,提高了其生态服务价值;土地利用变化类型中,改善生态环境的主要是转为林地和果园的变化类型,降低生态系统服务功能的主要是林地转出类型和农地转为非生产地类型.  相似文献

基于对24个样地的调查数据,采用物种丰富度指数、Shannon-Wiener指数以及Jaccard相似性指数,对辽东山地老秃顶子石河冰缘地貌森林群落物种多样性及其影响因子进行了研究。结果显示:(1)石河冰缘地貌森林群落中落叶阔叶林、针阔混交林和暗针叶林的物种丰富度指数平均值分别为41±10、34±5和31±7。森林群落物种丰富度变异系数均为中等变异性。(2)石河冰缘地貌森林群落中落叶阔叶林、针阔混交林和暗针叶林的Shannon-Wiener指数平均值分别为1.67±0.32、1.50±0.18和1.29±0.25。(3)石河冰缘地貌森林群落间Jaccard相似性指数为0.037~0.530,且集中在极不相似和中等不相似区间。(4)相关性分析结果显示,石河冰缘地貌海拔高度与森林群落乔木层物种丰富度指数、Shannon-Wiener指数呈极显著负相关(P0.01),与灌木层物种丰富度指数呈显著负相关(P0.05);土壤电导率和含盐量均与森林群落物种多样性指数呈显著正相关(P0.05);土壤pH值与灌木层物种丰富度指数、Shannon-Wiener指数呈极显著正相关(P0.01);土壤CaO含量分别与乔木层和灌木层的物种丰富度指数、乔木层Shannon-Wiener指数呈显著正相关(P0.05)。这表明海拔高度、土壤电导率、盐含量、pH值和CaO含量是影响石河冰缘地貌森林群落物种多样性变化的重要因素。  相似文献

为深入认识流沙生境中种植人工林对土壤动物多样性的影响,选择科尔沁流动沙地及其周围灌木林和乔木林地(生长年龄均为30年左右)为研究样地,对土壤动物群落与土壤环境进行调查,分析了土壤动物群落结构对流动沙地种植人工林的响应及影响因素.结果表明:流动沙地种植人工林对土壤性状产生显著影响,尤其是灌木林覆盖流动沙地显著改善了土壤环境,增加了土壤水分,提高了土壤营养条件.在3种林地中共捕获土壤动物485只、11个类群.优势类群为蜱螨目和弹尾目,常见类群为啮目,其他8个类群为稀有类群.从流动沙地到灌木林地和乔木林地,土壤动物密度减少,类群数和Shannon指数增加,而均匀度指数下降.但土壤动物密度、类群数、Shannon指数和均匀度指数在3种样地间均无显著性差异.土壤电导率是影响土壤动物类群数分布的重要因素.在科尔沁沙地,流动沙地种植人工林能够改善土壤环境和影响土壤动物多样性,但以30年的人工林研究其对流动沙地土壤动物群落的影响存在局限性.  相似文献

采用物种多样性指数和改进的M.Godron稳定性法研究林窗干扰对格氏栲(Castanopsis kawakamii)自然保护区天然林更新层物种多样性和稳定性的影响.结果表明:林窗干扰改善了微环境,表现在林窗和林下乔灌层树种重要值和多样性存在差异.林窗乔木层中丰富度指数R、优势度指数D、Shannon-Wiener指数H、均优多指数Z均高于林下,均匀度指数Js和群落优势度指数C低于林下;灌木层中R、D、H、Js、Z指数均高于林下,群落优势度指数C低于林下,林窗物种多样性更为丰富,生态优势种不明显,群落向复杂化和均匀化方向发展.林窗与林下乔木层Jaccard相似性系数Cj、Sorenson相似性系数CS、Bray-Curtis指数CN相对较低,Morista-Horn指数CmH较高,林窗对树种更新具有促进作用;灌木层相似性系数Cj、Cs、CN、CmH均较高,物种组成基本一致.根据M.Godron稳定性原理拟合出稳定性模型,林窗和林下乔木层分别为对数模型与二次函数模型,林窗和林下灌木层最佳拟合模型均为对数模型.林窗乔木层植物处于稳定状态,林下乔木层植物不稳定;林窗和林下灌木层植物均处于稳定状态.林窗和林下乔木层树种中以桂北木姜子(Litsea subcoriacea)重要值最高,说明其在森林更新中占有重要地位,可能对格氏栲种群更新产生较大影响.林下乔木层中格氏栲重要值较低,格氏栲更新存在困难,而林窗干扰促进了格氏栲的向上生长和重要值的提升,可有效实现格氏栲种群的更新和恢复.  相似文献

Abandoned cattle (Bos taurus) kraals are sources of habitat heterogeneity in dystrophic semi‐arid African savannas with a strong positive effect on soil nutrients and plant productivity. However, little is known regarding how macro‐invertebrate assemblages vary between abandoned kraals and the surrounding savanna matrix. We tested whether herbaceous biomass and basal and aerial covers and soil nutrients have an effect on aboveground and belowground macro‐invertebrate assemblages. Twelve abandoned kraals were contrasted with their paired control plots for soil characteristics, herbaceous productivity, and macro‐invertebrate assemblages in Save Valley Conservancy, Zimbabwe. Abandoned kraals had significantly higher concentrations of soil nitrogen (N), phosphorus (P), potassium (K), and calcium (Ca) as well as herbaceous biomass and basal and aerial covers than control plots. Both aboveground and belowground macro‐invertebrate species richness were higher on abandoned kraals. However, only belowground macro‐invertebrate diversity (Shannon H′ and Hill number 1) was significantly higher on abandoned kraals. Soil nutrients and herbaceous productivity had positive and significant correlations with the dominant taxa (Coleoptera, Hymenoptera, Hemiptera, Isoptera, and Myriapoda) on abandoned kraals. These results add to the growing body of evidence that abandoned kraals exert significant effects on savanna spatial heterogeneity years later, with implications on ecosystem processes and functioning.  相似文献

Artificial discharges of water from reservoirs caused a six-fold and three-fold increase in discharge in the R. Tywi and R. Elan respectively but did not significantly alter particle size composition (by weight) and the porosity of the substratum or the organic matter content of fine particles (<0.5 mm). Freshets in both rivers resulted in a consistent, though not significant, reduction in total densities of invertebrates and the densities of many major taxa and abundant species. During the freshet in the R. Elan, maximum concentration and total load of suspended solids were about 11 and 35 times greater than pre-release values respectively while invertebrate drift was dominated by Chironomidae (65%) and Plecoptera (25%). Total numbers and densities of drifting chironomids increased immediately in response to the flow increase; in contrast, numbers and densities of plecopterans increased later, during the night.  相似文献

依据ENVISAT ASAR数据中后向散射系数的差异对湖北四湖地区的城镇、水域、植被覆盖区进行划分;根据区域种植制度及物候特点,以4月下旬至5月上旬MODIS-NDVI值区别植被覆盖区中的作物植被与非作物植被;并采用基于高分辨率ETM数据的土地分类结果对基于上述规则分类的结果进行验证.结果表明:借助DEM高程数据,可将研究区非作物植被划分为林地与滩地;利用月份NDVI平均值的差异,可将作物划分为中稻、棉花和晚稻,并获得水田和旱地的区分;采用低空间分辨率的MODIS数据获得的土地覆盖分类结果,与采用高分辨率ETM数据分类的结果具有一定程度的相似性,以ETM数据分类结果为标准的总误差率为13.15%;利用上述判别流程进行大尺度土地覆盖分类与制图可以实现对区域土地覆盖变化的快速跟踪.  相似文献

为深入理解人类活动对陆地生态系统的影响,采用CASA(Carnegie-Ames-Stanford Approach)模型估算广东省2000、2005和2010年实际植被净初级生产力(Net primary productivity,NPP),并基于情景模拟法估算气候和土地覆盖类型稳定条件下的植被NPP,对气候波动和土地覆盖变化在植被NPP变化中的相对贡献进行了研究。结果表明:太阳辐射对植被NPP具有显著的正向控制作用,气温与植被NPP表现为显著负相关,降水不是该区域植被生长的限制性因子;各气候因子与植被NPP的相关性具有季节和区域差异性。在气候不变条件下,土地覆盖变化整体上增加了NPP,对NPP变化的相对贡献与城市扩张格局相类似,不同生态区存在差异性,以珠三角区的贡献最大。总之,气候波动对NPP变化的相对贡献较为复杂,取决于气候因子的波动特征以及与NPP的相关性;其它因子(城市热岛、农耕活动和园林管理等)对NPP变化的相对贡献存在很多不确定性,整体上增加了NPP。  相似文献

In September 1999, a coal-carrying train derailed and spilled 180,000–270,000 kg of coal into the Cayuga Inlet near Ithaca, New York. This study determined the immediate effects of the coal spill and the clean up procedures on the aquatic invertebrate community, and whether the stream recovered from this event after 2 years. Benthic invertebrate samples were taken both upstream and downstream of the coal spill immediately following clean-up efforts and two years later. Just after the coal spill, the total abundance and species richness of aquatic invertebrates were significantly lower downstream of the spill, suggesting that the disturbance caused increased mortality and/or emigration compared to a reference site upstream. Taxa affected most were grazers and turbidity-susceptible invertebrates. Two years later the invertebrate communities were similar upstream and downstream of the spill, except for an increase in the percent of the dominant genus, Hydropsyche(Trichoptera: Hydropsychidae). We speculate that long-term effects of channelization of the stream that occurred during the clean-up prevented the invertebrate assemblage from returning to the conditions observed in a reference site upstream of the coal spill. We propose that large scale environmental clean-ups should be designed to avoid altering ecosystems permanently, and that streams should be allowed to recover naturally without destructive human intervention.  相似文献

探究不同程度林火干扰对油松(Pinus tabuliformis)针叶次生林植物物种多样性特征与土壤理化性质的影响以及二者之间的关系,对灾后油松针叶次生林的可持续经营具有重要意义。采用典型样地调查法对山西省药林寺森林公园不同程度林火干扰后的油松次生林群落进行物种多样性分析,并测定土壤理化性质。结果表明:(1)在调查研究样方中共记录到维管植物38种,在不同程度林火干扰下物种种类表现为对照(CK)>重度>中度。(2)乔木层的Simpson指数、Margalef指数与灌木层的α多样性指数在重度林火干扰后与CK相比显著升高;草本层的变化规律与灌木层相反。(3)样地群落稳定性表现为:中度>CK>重度。(4)在重度林火干扰后0—10cm土层中的含水率、有机质、全氮、碱解氮、速效磷含量与CK相比显著升高35.42%、102.89%、29.41%、21.67%、48.50%,10—20cm土层中的全氮、全磷、全钾、速效磷、速效钾含量与CK相比显著降低54.17%、28.94%、7.47%、1.74%、14.13%。(5)冗余分析结果表明:0—10cm土层中全氮、碱解氮、全磷及1...  相似文献

采用典型样地法,运用干扰理论和物种多样性分析方法,使用冗余分析(RDA)研究了11个环境因子与护岸林物种多样性的关系,探究不同强度人为干扰对金马河温江段护岸林物种多样性和土壤理化性质的影响。结果表明:(1)在264个不同层次样方中,记录植物122种,隶属65科102属,其中草本层物种数量最多,种类达89种,占总记录数73%,随人为干扰强度增加物种数量逐渐减少;(2)人为干扰对金马河护岸林群落物种多样性水平产生负面影响,随着干扰强度增加,群落各层次Shannon-Wiener多样性指数(H)和物种丰富度指数(D)逐渐降低,乔木层物种组成单一,造成群落环境功能和稳定性下降;(3)群落土壤pH值呈碱性,土壤有机质含量较高,不同干扰强度下各土壤理化性质具有显著差异(P<0.05);(4)土壤含水量、速效钾、有机质含量是影响护岸林物种多样性的最主要因子。  相似文献
