本研究对猴和人的手(脚)掌纹进行了观察,并应用χ2检验进行比较分析,结果显示:(1)指(趾)间区、小鱼际区、脚弓区纹型出现频率,猴远远高于人。猴指(趾)间区纹型出现频率达95.5%以上,而人的指间区最高的Ⅰ4为72.1%,最低的Ⅰ1仅为1.0%,趾间区fⅠ3为34.6%,fⅠ1是3.7%;猴的手掌小鱼际区纹型频率为131.8%,脚掌小鱼际区为59.1%,而人分别为14.4%和18.5%;脚弓区也类似。(2)上述区的纹型类型,猴与人也有明显差异。最明显的特点是猴的斗形纹频率明显高。如指间区、趾间区、手掌小鱼际区和脚掌小鱼际区的斗形纹频率分别是77.3%、40.9%、59.1%和22.7%,而人分别为0.1%、0.3%、0和0。本研究结果对研究灵长目皮纹的遗传与进化有重要意义。 Abstract:Dermal ridges of palms (soles) in monkeys and men were observed.Using the method of χ2 examination to make a comparative study and analysis.The results showed the ridge pattern frequencies of the monkeys i n their interdigital areas were much higher than men.The ridge pattern frequenc y of the monkeys in each interdigital area and sole interdigital area was over 9 5.5%,but men’s Ⅰ4 was 72.1% at the highest, and Ⅰ1 was only 1.0% at the l owest, fⅠ3 was 34.6% and fⅠ1 was 3.7%.The ridge pattern frequency of the m onkeys in their hypothenars of palms was 131,8%,soles was 59.1%,but that of men were 14.4% and 18.5%.These similar phenomenon also existed in the arch areas of the feet.There were obvious differences between monkeys and men in their types o f ridge patterns.The obvious character was that the whorl frequency of the monke ys was obviously higher. For example ,the whorl frequency of the monkeys in thei r interdigital areas and sole interdigital areas ,hypothenar of the palms and so le were 77.3% and 40.9%,59.1%and 22.7% respectively.But those of the men were 0. 1% and 0.3%,zero and zero.The results are very significant for researching the i nheritance and evolvement of the primates'dermal ridges.  相似文献

The present report deals with the digital and palmar dermatoglyphics of the Elema peoples from the Gulf District of Papua New Guinea. The samples involved 91 males and 134 females from the areas of Iokea, Sepoe and Karama. The Elema dermatoglyphics, compared to those of other peoples in New Guinea, were found to have a high pattern intensity index and frequency of whorls, and the highest frequency of ulnar type C line, complete simian creases and patterns in the IV interdigital areas of the palms. On the other hand, their 11/7 ratio of the D line, the main line index, and the frequencies of patterns in the hypothenar, thenar/I and II interdigital areas were lower than most other groups on the island; they also have the lowest R/U ratio. All dermatoglyphic features considered, the frequencies in the Elema group were for the most part found to be near the extremes of the range of the dermatoglyphic frequency distributions in New Guinea populations. The dermatoglyphic distributions of New Guinea as a whole are discussed in terms of those of the other Australasian populations with comments on the dermatoglyphic comparisons between the Australasians and the other major human groups, Amerindians, Orientals, Asian Indians, Caucasians and Negroes.  相似文献

We describe the geographic variation patterns of six dermatoglyphic traits from 144 samples in Eurasia. The methods of analysis include computation of interpolated surfaces, one-dimensional and directional correlograms, correlations between all pairs of surfaces, and distances between correlograms. There are at least two, probably three, distinct and significant patterns of variation. 1) A general NW-SE trend for pattern intensity, the main line index, and frequency of hypothenar patterns. 2) A trend from the Middle East to the north and east for frequency of axial triradius and of accessory interdigital triradii. 3) A patchy pattern for frequency of the thenar-interdigital 1. The results are compatible with a diffusion process between Europe and the peoples of Northern Asia, and possibly with a radiation of populations from the Middle East. The hypothesis of diffusion processes is supported by substantial interpopulation correlations between dermatoglyphic traits that contrast sharply with largely negligible intralocality correlations. © 1993 Wiley-Liss, Inc.  相似文献

Hand prints of 146 Florida Seminoles were obtained at the Brighton, Big Cypress and Dania reservations and at the Indian Agency in Dania. Comparisons with other tribes of North American Indians (Comanche, Arapahoe, Navaho, Hopi and Pueblo) reveal similarities with respect to fingerprint indices, frequencies of patterns in all palmar areas, and transverseness of palmar ridges. Comparisons of Seminoles and other North American tribes with the Mayans of southern Mexico and Guatamala show striking differences in pattern frequencies in the thenar/first interdigital area of the palm. Among North American Indians, the frequency varies from 18.49% among Seminoles to 28.5% among Navahoes, whereas all Mayan tribes which have been studied range between 40 and 50%. Pattern frequencies are higher in the thenar/first interdigital area than in the hypothenar area among all Amerindians who have been tested. This trend is the reverse of that found in other racial groups. North, Central and South American Indians are similar with respect to relatively high finger pattern indices, low frequencies of patterns in the hypothenar area, low frequencies of accessory triradii in the interdigital areas and moderately transverse palmar ridges.  相似文献

报道了湖南通道侗族337例正常人的指纹型、总指纹嵴数(TFRC)、a-b纹嵴线(a-bRC)、atd角、轴三角百分距(tPD)、大鱼际纹、小鱼际纹、指间区纹、掌褶纹、掌纹主线横向指数(MLIT)等手纹参数正常值,并与侗族不同人群和湖南周边不同民族进行了比较,发现湖南侗族手掌真实花纹和掌褶纹分布频率与湖南周边其他已研究过的民族和侗族群体存在明显差异。  相似文献

Palmar dermatoglyphics was studied in 1120 patients with schizophrenia with due regard for its form, and in 1240 healthy persons of the same population. The frequency of the AU/AC type of patterns in the hypothenar area was increased in women with schizophrenia and its paranoid form. Among men with schizophrenia and its simple form the frequency of dysplasia, true and defective patterns on the thenar was increased; in addition in men with the paranoid form the frequency of loops in the 3d interdigital areas was also increased.  相似文献

62 patients suffering from rheumatic heart disease were taken from Institute of Child Health, Niloufer Hospital, Hyderabad, for the present dermatoglyphic investigation. The finger, palm and toe prints were analysed to see if there was an association between rheumatic heart disease and any of the dermatoglyphic traits. The parameters which were significantly different from the controls are: (1) reduced frequency of arches on the finger tips in males and increased frequency of whorls in females; (2) increased frequency of patterns in the III interdigital area in males; (3) decreased d-t ridge count in females, and (4) higher incidence of multiple axial triradii in females.  相似文献

Digital pattern type frequencies and frequencies of patterns in the Hypothenar, Thenar/Ist interdigital, IInd and IIIrd interdigital areas have been used for computing multivariate distances among four human geographical races. Results: Europids and Negrids stand near one another, Mongolids are remote from both and Australids are more remote from the three other races. This pattern of phenetic relationships corresponds to the evolutionary tree of Homo sapiens as reconstructed by the author on the basis of palaeoanthropological data.  相似文献

The role of genetic factors in the determination of palmar dermatoglyphic patterns was investigated in a series of 49 MZ and 51 DZ twins, using Spearman's rank correlation and analysis of variance. Both methods indicated that the genetic effect in the distribution of patterns is highest in the interdigital III and lowest in the interdigital IV regions, the hypothenar and thenar showing intermediate values. As for interdigital II, no evaluation of genetic effects was possible using the nonparametric test, but the estimates of genetic variance indicate that inherited factors may play a relatively minor role in the pattern distribution of this area.  相似文献

本文研究了甘肃裕固族青少年儿童346人的皮纹学特征,报道了斗、箕、弓各型指纹的频率,指纹指数,总指嵴数,a-b嵴数,通关手出现率,掌纹真实花样等8项皮纹学参数和主线止区的分布比例。并作了性别、手别、族别及人种间的比较。结果表明,裕固族既具有蒙古人种的皮纹特征,也有一些白种人的皮纹特点,这可能暗示着裕固族有白种人的血统。  相似文献

In developing chick leg buds, large-scale cell death occurs in the interdigital zone, which is responsible for the separation of digits from each other. Ectopic cartilage formation is known to occur upon removal of the chondrogenic digit tissue of the leg bud. To examine the mechanisms of ectopic cartilage formation in the interdigital cell death region, we performed the following operations on stage 28–29 leg buds: (i) removal of the digit-forming area; (ii) incision between the interdigital zone and digit region; (iii) insertion of an aluminum barrier into the interdigital zone; and (iv) insertion of a permeable Nuclepore filter into the interdigital zone. In all cases, the inhibition of cell death and/or the formation of ectopic cartilage in the interdigital zone were observed, although the frequency of the inhibition of cell death and the formation of ectopic cartilage varied, depending upon the position where the operations were performed. These results suggest that cell death and cell differentiation in the interdigital zone may be controlled by some factor(s) from digit cartilage.  相似文献

Genetic distance techniques and cluster analysis were used to determine which dermatoglyphic parameters were most useful in assessing genetic relationships between native American populations. The dermatoglyphic parameters used for this analysis were those most completely reported in the papers examined in a literature survey we had carried out previously, and include digital patterns, modal types of the C-line and D-line terminations, and palmar patterns in the hypothenar, thenar/I, and interdigital areas. The populations examined were separated by sex and divided into seven major geographical groups: Eskimo; North American Indian; Maya and non-Maya (Central America); Amazonian; Quechua, and Aymara (South America). Mean frequencies of dermatoglyphic traits were computed for each group and pairwise “genetic” distances calculated using Cavalli-Sforza and Edward's D-test. Dendrograms were then generated from these D-values using Q-mode cluster analysis. Using the hypothenar, thenar/I and III and IV interdigital areas, the results of this analysis demonstrated a good fit to an expected phylogenetic tree. When digital patterns, patterns in the II interdigital area, and the modal types of the C-line were included in the analysis, the same phylogenetic relationships were observed. However, inclusion of the modal types of the D-line with the other parameters tended to introduce some distortion and a greater separation between sexes within the same populations.  相似文献

The effects of Bmp-4 on interdigital cell death were investigated in the mouse. Affi-Gel beads, loaded with recombinant Bmp-4 protein, were transplanted into the interdigital tissues of day 12.5 hindlimb, ex utero. It was established that Bmp-4 could induce precocious interdigital cell death. Using in situ hybridization, the expression patterns of bmp-4 and alk-6 receptor were established. Both genes were found coexpressed in the interdigital region of 12.5- and 13. 5-day hindlimbs. This suggests that Bmp-4 may act in an autocrine fashion. We have also studied the effects of Bmp-4 on 12.5-day interdigital tissue cultures. In all specimens examined, the interdigital tissues produced cartilage instead of participating in cell death. The addition of exogenous Bmp-4 to the interdigital cultures did not induce apoptosis but instead enhanced chondrogenesis. The discrepancy between the effects of Bmp-4 in vitro and ex utero was attributed to the presence of digits. When a flanking digit was left attached to the interdigital tissues, in vitro, Bmp-4 promoted apoptosis instead of chondrogenesis. In sum, the results suggest that Bmp-4 is a multifunctional protein and its effect on the interdigital tissues is dependent on the modulating influence of the digits.  相似文献

Data obtained from 423 individuals were analyzed for mode of inheritance of extra triradii on palmar interdigital area II and IV separately, and in combination. It indicates that a single dominant allele A for extra triradius in the area II, and an allele D in the area IV, may be responsible for the presence of the patterns in the respective area, with 75 to 80 per cent penetrance. There are numbers of individuals in which extra triradii are present in both interdigital areas II and IV. The mode of inheritance has been estimated from the data obtained and was found to have co-dominant alleles A and D for the presence in their respective areas. Further analysis revealed the existence of three alleles. A and D for presence, and 0 for absence. The alleles A and D are co-dominant, if combined in the genotype AD, but either allele is dominant in heterozygous combination with 0.  相似文献

In patients with onychomycosis (OM) 71.5% of them have been reported with plantar fungal infection. The aim of this study was to study the frequency and distribution of plantar and interdigital affection in diabetic patients and in a control group without diabetes, all of them with OM. Diabetic patients with OM were more frequently diagnosed with plantar (61.2%) than interdigital (46.7%) infection. In the control group similar results were obtained; patients with OM in 76.5% had plantar mycotic infection and 67.1% interdigital involvement.  相似文献

With the aim of investigating the influence of trisomy 21 on the expression of heritable morphological features, we recorded the palmar and plantar dermatoglyphic patterns in 48 children with Down syndrome (DS), in both their parents, and, as a control, in 57 of their siblings. Using the Kendall tau rank correlation test, a considerable parental influence on the frequency of true patterns in the interdigital areas (IDA) III and IV of the palms (P = 0.3%) and soles (P = 1.0% and 3.8%, respectively) is demonstrated for the control siblings. In the children with DS, this influence is discernible as well, although with no statistical significance. A greater number of families may be required to settle the question.  相似文献

Interdigital cell death is a physiological regression process responsible for sculpturing the digits in the embryonic vertebrate limb. Changes in the intensity of this degenerative process account for the different patterns of interdigital webbing among vertebrate species. Here, we show that Reelin is present in the extracellular matrix of the interdigital mesoderm of chick and mouse embryos during the developmental stages of digit formation. Reelin is a large extracellular glycoprotein which has important functions in the developing nervous system, including neuronal survival; however, the significance of Reelin in other systems has received very little attention. We show that reelin expression becomes intensely downregulated in both the chick and mouse interdigits preceding the establishment of the areas of interdigital cell death. Furthermore, fibroblast growth factors, which are cell survival signals for the interdigital mesoderm, intensely upregulated reelin expression, while BMPs, which are proapototic signals, downregulate its expression in the interdigit. Gene silencing experiments of reelin gene or its intracellular effector Dab-1 confirmed the implication of Reelin signaling as a survival factor for the limb undifferentiated mesoderm. We found that Reelin activates canonical survival pathways in the limb mesoderm involving protein kinase B and focal adhesion kinase. Our findings support that Reelin plays a role in interdigital cell death, and suggests that anoikis (apoptosis secondary to loss of cell adhesion) may be involved in this process.  相似文献

A method for subtyping the interdigital patterns is introduced, which is based upon the direction of the main line terminations as well as the presence of accessory triradii. The palmar patterns of several population samples from our files representing the Caucasians, Negroes, Miconesians and New Guinean groups are evaluted in terms of the introduced calssification and the results demonstrate a number of differences between the major racial groups. In additin, the thenar/I and hypothenar patterns are subtyped according to the classifications of Cummins and Midlo. These data also indicate the inadequacy of the general open/arch, vestige, loop, whorl identification of the plamar patterns. It is hoped that more data will be studied along these lines for establishment of more accurate frequencies among the various racial groups.  相似文献
