The flow field and energetic efficiency of total cavopulmonary connection (TCPC) models have been studied by both in vitro experiment and computational fluid dynamics (CFD). All the previous CFD studies have employed the structured mesh generation method to create the TCPC simulation model. In this study, a realistic TCPC model with complete anatomical features was numerically simulated using both structured and unstructured mesh generation methods. The flow fields and energy losses were compared in these two meshes. Two different energy loss calculation methods, the control volume and viscous dissipation methods, were investigated. The energy losses were also compared to the in vitro experimental results. The results demonstrated that: (1) the flow fields in the structured model were qualitatively similar to the unstructured model; (2) more vortices were present in the structured model than in the unstructured model; (3) both models had the least energy loss when flow was equally distributed to the left and right pulmonary arteries, while high losses occurred for extreme pulmonary arterial flow splits; (4) the energy loss results calculated using the same method were significantly different for different meshes; and (5) the energy loss results calculated using different methods were significantly different for the same mesh.  相似文献

A concept of methane yield at optimum pH was advanced and subsequently a mathematical model that simulates the optimal pH of a batch process for anaerobic digestion of organic fraction of municipal solid waste (MSW) was developed and validated. The model was developed on the basis of the microbial growth kinetics and was divided into three processes: hydrolysis of substrates by hydrolytic bacteria, consumption of soluble substrate by acidogenic bacteria, and finally consumption of acetate and methane generated by methanogenic bacteria. Material balance and liquid phase equilibrium chemistry were used in this study. A series of experiments were conducted to validate the model. The model simulation results agreed reasonably with experimental data in different temperatures and total solid (TS) concentrations under uncontrolled pH. A computer circulation program was used to predict the optimal pH in different conditions. Experiments in different temperatures and TS were run under optimal pH which predicted by the model. The model was succeeded in increasing the methane production and the cumulative methane production had an average increment about 35% in optimal pH of different temperatures and TS.  相似文献

The process kinetics of a lab-scale upflow aerobic immobilized biomass (UAIB) reactor using simulated sugar-manufacturing wastewater as feed was investigated. The experimental unit consisted of a 22l reactor filled with high porosity pumice stone. The UAIB reactor was tested under different organic loads and different hydraulic retention times (HRT) and the substrate loading removal rate was compared with prediction of Stover-Kincannon model, second-order model and the first order substrate removal model. After obtaining steady-state conditions, organic loading rate was increased from 750 to 4500 g COD/m(3) day to resemble wastewater from sugar production lines, and hydraulic retention time was decreased from 1 to 0.5 days, stepwise. Nine different operational conditions were applied changing these two parameters in a certain program. As a result of the calculations, Stover-Kincannon model and second-order model known as "Grau" model were found to be the most appropriate models for this reactor. Stover-Kincannon model and Grau second-order model gave high correlation coefficients, which were 99.7% and 99.4%, respectively. Therefore, these models could be used in predicting the behavior or design of the UAIB reactors.  相似文献

The finite element method was used to analyze heat transfer within a section of the forearm while exposed to different ambient conditions and with different metabolic states. The three-dimensional model accounts for the different material properties of bone, muscle and blood and incorporates a single artery-vein pair for counter-current heat exchange. The geometry of the model was developed from anatomical cross-sectional images of the forearm. The model was used to determine the effects or rest vs. exercise, free vs. forced surface convection and 0 degrees C vs. -20 degrees C external temperatures. The results of the model were compared to experimental data and the model exhibits qualitatively correct behaviour. This model can be used to study hyperthermia, burns and cryogenic freezing of tissue.  相似文献

在确定二价铁离子为A.f生长过程中惟一限制性底物条件下,通过考察初始亚铁离子浓度、初始pH值两种影响亚铁离子氧化代谢的主要因素来研究细菌的生长特性,得到以限制性底物亚铁离子浓度为表征的细菌生长曲线。利用基于Monod方程建立的细菌生长动力学方程模型,采用Matlab软件中的Gauss-Newton算法确定了在不同条件下细菌生长动力学参数,包括最大比生长速率μm、Monod常数K及Ro,推导出了不同条件下A.f对数期以底物Fe(Ⅱ)浓度为表征的生长动力学方程。  相似文献

Summary A comparison among various forms of half-diallel analysis was made. The different half-diallel techniques used were: Griffing's model I, method 2 and 4, Morley-Jones' model; Walters and Morton's model, and Gardner and Eberhart's model. All these methods of diallel analysis were found to be interrelated. However, as the Gardner and Eberhart's model partitioned heterosis into different components as well as gave information about combining ability, this method had certainly some advantages over the others. The results further indicated the possibility of dominance variance being confounded with the additive variance of general combining ability.  相似文献

目的建立实验性高脂血症恒河猴模型,为人类高脂血症研究提供理想动物模型。方法设计高脂实验饲料配方并检测常规营养成分,用高脂饲料诱导实验性高脂血症恒河猴模型,分别在2个月、4个月、6个月后监测体重、血清总胆固醇(TC)、甘油三酯(TG)、高密度脂蛋白(HDL—C)、低密度脂蛋白(LDL—C)等指标,对其血脂指标的变化趋势进行分析。结果模型组在实验2个月、4个月时的日采食量和摄入能量均低于对照组(P(0.05),但体重则无明显变化(P〉0.05);而在实验6个月时日采食量和摄入能量与对照组无显著性差异(P〉0.05),体重有显著性差异(P〈0.05);模型组与对照组的TC、TG、HDL—C、LDL—C在实验前和2个月比较无显著性差异(P〉0.05);在4个月比较时TC、TG、LDL—C有显著性差异(P〈0.05),而HDL无显著性差异(P〉0.05);在6个月比较时TC、LDL—C有显著性差异(P〈0.05),并且TC、LDL—C远远高于恒河猴血脂的正常参考值水平,而TG、HDL—C则无显著性差异(P〉0.05);变化趋势分析结果为,模型组TC和LDL-C水平有递增趋势、TG水平则出现了先递减后逐渐恢复的趋势、HDL—C水平未出现明显变化趋势。结论模型组恒河猴具有高胆固醇血症和高低密度脂蛋白血症的特征,已经初步建立了实验性恒河猴高脂血症动物模型。  相似文献

对春季和秋季大兴安岭地区西林吉林业局山杨-白桦混交林、落叶松林、樟子松林、落叶松-白桦混交林、白桦林5种典型林分不同坡位地表细小死可燃物含水率动态进行研究,构建了不同季节防火期、不同林分地表死可燃物含水率的预测模型,并分析了其预测误差.结果表明: 相同林分地表可燃物含水率在春季和秋季差异显著;在相同季节相同林分下不同坡位可燃物含水率存在差异.采用Nelson模型对地表死可燃物含水率预测的平均绝对误差(MAE)的平均值为0.13,略低于Simard模型(0.14),明显低于气象要素回归模型(0.25).Nelson和Simard模型的预测效果好于气象要素回归模型.秋季模型对地表死可燃物含水率的预测精度好于春季模型和春季秋季混合模型.  相似文献

 林木的结构-功能模型(functional-structural tree modeling, FSTMs)是基于器官级组件构建的将植物结构和功能结合起来的一类模型, 在应用于成年树时需要解决拓扑结构复杂性和年轮分配模式普适性的问题。该文以18年生和41年生的油松 (Pinus tabulaeformis)成年树为研究对象, 将GreenLab模型应用到成年树的模拟中。采用破坏性取样, 实测了2株油松成年树的形态结构, 利用子结构模型解决成年树拓扑结构复杂性的问题, 引入年轮影响系数λ, 将全局分配模式和Pressler模式结合起 来, 解决年轮分配模式在不同年龄和环境条件下不同的问题。模型的直接参数通过实测数据获得, 隐含参数利用非线性最小二乘法拟合反求获得。通过实测数据与模拟数据的对比、模拟数据与经验模型模拟数据的对比, 对模型的模拟效果进行了评估, 发现节间总重、针叶总重、树高、树干节间重观测值和模型模拟值建立的回归方程的决定系数为0.84–0.98, 结构-功能模型与经验模型对总生物量模拟的决定系数为0.95, 表明该模型能较真实地反映油松的结构和生长过程。  相似文献

结合元素平衡和代谢平衡,建立了重组人血清白蛋白发酵过程表达期的数学模型,按单纯形多变量最优化方法估算了模型的未知参数,并探讨了导致表达期不同阶段产物形成速率存在差异的可能原因。该模型能较好地描述重组人血清白蛋白发酵过程表达期中各宏观反应速率之间的关系,为重组人血清白蛋白的高效表达提供了线索。  相似文献

光响应曲线研究方法被广泛应用在植物生理的研究中,但是在应用光响应模型拟合光响应数据时,往往只考虑到研究的目的,很少考虑到模型是否适用于所研究的植物。本文通过采用7个不同的光响应模型对白桦叶片和兴安落叶松针叶光响应曲线数据拟合的比较,发现不同模型对同一种植物光响应曲线的拟合结果存在着差异,同一模型对同种植物不同部位叶片光响应曲线的拟合效果也不同,所以在研究植物的光响应时,应考虑到所选光响应模型对该种植物的光响应情况的描述是否恰当。根据具体情况选择最佳模型,以最大限度地保证估测生理指标结果的精确性。  相似文献

为探究亚热带喀斯特地区不同地形下植物群落物种多度分布格局,揭示不同地形下群落的物种多度格局形成的作用机制,丰富该地区植物群落构建理论,该文以贵州茂兰喀斯特地区山脊、槽谷、鞍部、洼地4种典型地形下植物群落的乔木层与灌木层为对象,统计物种多度,采用累计经验分布曲线(ECDF)表征多度分布格局,采取Wilcoxon秩和检验探究不同地形之间物种多度的差异性。采用不同生态学模型进行多度拟合,利用Kolmogorov-Smirnov(K-S)检验与赤池信息量准则(AIC)检验模型接受与拟合优度。结果表明:(1)不同地形下植物群落的个体数量与物种数存在差异,鞍部个体数最多,洼地的物种数最多,山脊的个体数、物种数均最少。(2)不同地形下植物群落的乔木层物种多度格局无显著差异,灌木层之间出现显著差异,山脊与鞍部、洼部,鞍部与槽谷、洼部都存在显著差异。(3)不同地形下乔木层物种多度对中性模型接受较好,其中山脊拟合最优,对生态位模型接受较差,仅山脊与鞍部通过两种生态位模型,拟合优度不及中性模型。灌木层对中性模型接受也较好,鞍部拟合最优,对生态位模型接受较差,仅洼地通过断棍模型。整体而言,乔木层比灌木层能更好地接受两种生态学模型,可能乔木层物种多度格局有更明显生态过程的印记,但不同地形下灌木层拟合优度差异更大,可能与灌木层物种对环境变化更剧烈有关。不同地形会引起群落构建不同程度的生态学过程,物种多度分布格局会逐渐适应地形。  相似文献

The kinetics of 18 amino acids, ammonia (NH3) and urea (UREA) in 18 liver cell bioreactor runs were analyzed and simulated by a two-compartment model consisting of a system of 42 differential equations. The model parameters, most of them representing enzymatic activities, were identified and their values discussed with respect to the different liver cell bioreactor performance levels. The nitrogen balance based model was used as a tool to quantify the variability of runs and to describe different kinetic patterns of the amino acid metabolism, in particular with respect to glutamate (GLU) and aspartate (ASP).  相似文献

The relationship between perceived aroma and the volatile concentration measured in-nose was investigated during eating of a model food. Sensory ranking and time-intensity analysis (TI) were used to measure perceived aroma, while in-nose volatile concentration was monitored by atmospheric pressure ionization mass spectrometry, which produced time release data. A gelatine-sucrose gel with a range of gelatine concentrations (2-8% w/w) and flavoured with furfuryl acetate was used as the model food. Sensory scaling showed decreased flavour intensities and TI showed a decrease in the flavour perceived over time, as the gelatine concentration increased. Studies in model systems and in people demonstrated that the different rates of release observed for different gelatine concentrations were not due to binding of volatile to protein in the gel, nor to mucous membranes, but were due to different rates of gel breakdown in-mouth. There were no significant differences in the maximum in-nose volatile concentrations for the different gelatine concentrations, so the amount of volatile present did not correlate well with the sensory analysis. However, the rates of volatile release were different for the different gels and showed a good correlation with sensory data.  相似文献

为测试研究I 模型BarleyGrow,采用4个生态区(南京、扬州、武汉、昆明)、10个大麦品种在不同播期下的顶端发育和物候期资料,对BarleyGrow、YDmodel和SUCROS模型进行对比检验和评价.利用遗传-模拟退火算法确定各品种的遗传参数,提高了应用程序求算参数的精度.从模型的整体预测效果来看,BarleyGrow对不同地区、不同播期、不同品种的各顶端发育和物候期预测准确而稳定,均方差RMSE在1.06~7.94d之间,而YDmodel为6.26~13.35d,SUCROS为11.22~20.28d.各参试品种对BarleyGrow中灌浆期基点温度、生理春化时间、临界日长、最短苗穗期4参数反应敏感.经改进的生理发育时间(PDT)模拟模型(BarleyGrow)对中国广大地区不同温光条件下的大麦顶端发育和物候发育均具有较好的预测效果,尤其对药隔期、二裂期、毛状期、抽穗期、灌浆期、成熟期的模拟精度高而稳定,表现出较强的机理性以及较好的预测性.  相似文献

A statistical approach was applied to select those models that best fit each individual mitochondrial (mt) protein at different taxonomic levels of metazoans. The existing mitochondrial replacement matrices, MtREV and MtMam, were found to be the best-fit models for the mt-proteins of vertebrates, with the exception of Nd6, at different taxonomic levels. Remarkably, existing mitochondrial matrices generally failed to best-fit invertebrate mt-proteins. In an attempt to better model the evolution of invertebrate mt-proteins, a new replacement matrix, named MtArt, was constructed based on arthropod mt-proteomes. The new model was found to best fit almost all analyzed invertebrate mt-protein data sets. The observed pattern of model fit across the different data sets indicates that no single replacement matrix is able to describe the general evolutionary properties of mt-proteins but rather that taxonomical biases and/or the existence of different mt-genetic codes have great influence on which model is selected.  相似文献

This paper presents a new approach, in applying the Pierce two-node model, to predict local skin temperatures of individual body parts with good accuracy. In this study, local skin temperature measurements at 24 sites on the bodies of 11 human subjects were carried out in a controlled environment under three different indoor conditions (i.e. neutral, warm and cold). The neutral condition measurements were used to adjust the local skin set-points in the model for each body part. Additional modifications to the calculation algorithm were introduced corresponding to different body parts. The local core set-points were then calculated, using a line search method, as the input values that allow the model to predict the skin temperatures with maximum deviation of ±0.1°C for the neutral condition. The model predictability was verified for the other two indoor conditions, and the results show that the modified model predicts local skin temperatures with average deviation of ±0.3°C.  相似文献

We describe a neural network model of the cerebellum based on integrate-and-fire spiking neurons with conductance-based synapses. The neuron characteristics are derived from our earlier detailed models of the different cerebellar neurons. We tested the cerebellum model in a real-time control application with a robotic platform. Delays were introduced in the different sensorimotor pathways according to the biological system. The main plasticity in the cerebellar model is a spike-timing dependent plasticity (STDP) at the parallel fiber to Purkinje cell connections. This STDP is driven by the inferior olive (IO) activity, which encodes an error signal using a novel probabilistic low frequency model. We demonstrate the cerebellar model in a robot control system using a target-reaching task. We test whether the system learns to reach different target positions in a non-destructive way, therefore abstracting a general dynamics model. To test the system's ability to self-adapt to different dynamical situations, we present results obtained after changing the dynamics of the robotic platform significantly (its friction and load). The experimental results show that the cerebellar-based system is able to adapt dynamically to different contexts.  相似文献

The temporal behaviours of the nonlinear substructure of a self-organized compartmental model of calcium metabolism were investigated. The order-two autocatalytic process included in this simple two-dimensional model is compared to some secondary nucleation mechanisms which should take place at the extracellular fluid-bone interface. The model gives rise to complex dynamic behaviours, and multistability properties, involving up to two stable periodic regimes (birhythmicity), were established in different topological configurations. The bifurcations occurring on the boundaries between regions of different qualitative behaviour have been determined. These properties are discussed in relation to the dynamical behaviour of other two-variable models, especially those including the same nonlinearity.  相似文献
