ABSTRACT

A new fossil species of the genus Scutus (Scutus mirus n. sp.) is described from five Late Oligocene to Early Miocene (Waitakian to Altonian; 25.2–15.9?Ma) localities in the South Island, New Zealand. It is one of the oldest fossil species of Scutus known and probably inhabited very shallow, sub-tropical waters surrounding Zealandia during this time. The holotype of Scutus petrafixus Finlay, 1930 is re-examined; it is possibly from All Day Bay, Kakanui (Waitakian 25.2–21.7?Ma). The New Zealand species documented herein significantly expand our understanding of the fossil record of this shallow-marine molluscan lineage, and by proxy, also indicate the presence of very shallow coastal marine environments around the late Oligocene and early Miocene in southern Zealandia.  相似文献

The nucleophilic addition–elimination reaction of 2′,3′,5′-tri-O-acetyl-2-fluoro-O 6-[2-(4-nitrophenyl)ethyl]inosine (8) with [15N]benzylamine in the presence of triethylamine afforded the N 2-benzyl[2-15N]guanosine derivative (13) in a high yield, which was further converted into the N 2-benzoyl[2-15N] guanosine derivative by treatment with ruthenium trichloride and tetrabutyl-ammonium periodate. A similar sequence of reactions of 2′,3′,5′-tri-O-acetyl-2-fluoro-O 6-[2-(methylthio)ethyl]inosine (9) and the 6-chloro-2-fluoro-9-(β-D-ribofuranosyl)-9H-purine derivative (11), which were respectively prepared from guanosine, with potassium [15N]phthalimide afforded the N 2-phthaloyl [2-15N]guanosine derivative (15; 62%) and 9-(2,3,5-tri-O-acetyl-β-D-ribofuranosyl)-6-chloro-2-[15N]phthalimido-9H-purine (17; 64%), respectively. Compounds 15 and 17 were then efficiently converted into 2′,3′,5′-tri-O-acetyl[2-15N]guanosine. The corresponding 2′-deoxy derivatives (16 and 18) were also synthesized through similar procedures.  相似文献

Abstract

The endemic New Zealand genus Neolimnia is redescribed, and a key is given to the 14 species now included. Four new species are described - Neolimnia raiti, N. pepekeiti, N. ura, and N. repo. Two new synonymies are proposed; N. ocellata Tonnoir &; Malloch with N. castanea (Hutton); and N. dubiosa Tonnoir &; Malloch with N. irrorata Tonnoir &; Malloch. Lectotypes are designated for N. tranquilla (Hutton), N. castanea (Hutton), N. obscura (Hutton), and N. striata (Hutton). Male postabdomens of all species are illustrated. Character variation and generic, subgeneric, and species relationships are discussed briefly.  相似文献

Abstract

In this study, four bacterial strains were tested for their ability to reduce acetophenones to its corresponding alcohol. Among these strains Weissella paramesenteroides N7 was found to be the most successful biocatalyst to reduce the ketones to the corresponding alcohols. The reaction conditions were systematically optimized for W. paramesenteroides N7 that resulted in high enantioselectivity and conversion rates for the bioreduction. The scale-up asymmetric reduction of 1-(4-methoxyphenyl) propan-1-one (1r) by W. paramesenteroides N7 gave (R)-1-(4-methoxyphenyl) propan-1-ol (2r) with 94% yield and >99% enantiomeric excess. This is the first report showing the synthesis of (R)-1-(4-methoxyphenyl) propan-1-ol (2r) in enantiopure form using a biocatalyst on a gram scale. The whole cell catalyzed the reductions of ketone substrates on the preparative scale, demonstrating that W. paramesenteroides N7 would be a valuable biocatalyst for the preparation of chiral aromatic alcohols of pharmaceutical interest as a promising and alternative green approach.  相似文献

Abstract

The 2′-O-methylisocytidine phosphoramidite synthon 7 and methylphosphonamidite synthon 8 are synthesized from 2′-O-methyluridine. The N2 -(N′, N′-dimethylformamidine) protected 2′-O-methylisocytidine is stable to basic deamination and acidic depyrimidination. Synthon 7 and synthon 8 have been incorporated into oligomers via the automated solid state procedure.

[背景] 氨氮浓度会明显影响亚硝化单胞菌的活性,但氨氮浓度对吸附态亚硝化单胞菌菌种的抑制动力学尚缺乏研究。[目的] 研究氨氮浓度对3种吸附态亚硝化单胞菌(Nitrosomonas eutropha CZ-4、Nitrosomonas halophila C-19和Nitrosomonas europaea SH-3)的影响。[方法] 以碳酸钙作为吸附基质,设定氨氮浓度为25-1 000 mg/L,测定3种亚硝化单胞菌(N.eutropha CZ-4、N. halophila C-19和N. europaea SH-3)的亚硝氮积累速率与最大比生长速率,并通过Edwares2模型建立氨氧化的抑制动力学方程。[结果] N. halophila C-19在初始氨氮浓度为50-100 mg/L时的亚硝氮积累最快,N. europaea SH-3的亚硝氮积累则在初始氨氮浓度为50-200 mg/L时最快,而N. eutropha CZ-4则适于在初始氨氮浓度为50-400 mg/L时积累亚硝氮;N. eutropha CZ-4的最大比生长速率出现在初始氨氮浓度为50-400 mg/L时,明显高于N. halophila C-19(25-100 mg/L),而N. europaea SH-3的生长速度在初始氨氮浓度为50-800 mg/L区间内无显著差异;N. europaea SH-3的KI(922.76 mg/L)显著高于N. eutropha CZ-4(597.88 mg/L),而CZ-4的KI又显著高于N. halophila C-19(186.24 mg/L),N. europaea SH-3的Km(72.06 mg/L)显著高于N. halophila C-19(23.23 mg/L)。[结论] 3种吸附态亚硝化单胞菌的生长和氨氧化对氨氮浓度变化的响应存在明显差异,对于认识不同亚硝化单胞菌在不同氨氮浓度污水中的功能并开发相应的工程技术具有重要意义。  相似文献

The reactions of Pd(II) and Pt(II) with 2-Acetyl Pyridine N(4)-Ethyl-Thiosemicarbazones, HAc4Et and 2-Acetyl Pyridine N(4)-1-(2-pyridyl)-piperazinyl Thiosemicarbazone, HAc4PiPiz and 2-Formyl Pyridine N(4)-1-(2-pyridyl)-piperazinyl Thiosemicarbazone, HFo4PiPiz afforded the complexes, [Pd(Ac4Et)], 1, [Pd(HAc4Et)2]Cl2, 2 and [Pd(Ac4Et)2], 3[Pt(Ac4Et)], 4, [Pt(HAc4Et)2]Cl2, 5, [Pt(Ac4Et)2], 6 and [Pd(Fo4PipePiz)Cl], 7, [Pd(Fo4PipePiz)2], 8, [Pd(Ac4PipePiz)Cl], 9 and [Pd(Ac4PipePiz)2], 10. The crystal structure of the complex [Pt(Ac4Et)2], 6 has been solved. The platinum(II) atom is in a square planar environment surrounded by two cis nitrogen atoms and two cis sulfur atoms. The ligands are not equivalent, one being tridentate with (N,N,S) donation, the other being monodentate using only the sulfur atom to coordinate to the metal. The tridentate ligand shows a Z, E, Z configuration while the monodentate ligand shows an E, E, Z. Inter-molecular hydrogen bonds stabilize the structure, while the crystal packing is determined by –, and Pt – C interactions. The antibacterial effect of Pd(II) and Pt(II) complexes were studied in vitro. The complexes were found to have effect on Gram(+) bacteria, while the same complexes showed no bactericidal effect on Gram(–) bacteria. The effect of the Pd(II) and Pt(II) complexes on the in vitro DNA strand breakage was studied by agarose gel electrophoresis. The complexes 1-6 were found to exhibit a cytotoxic potency in a very low micromolar range and to be able to overcome the cisplatin resistance of A2780/Cp8 cells (Kovala-Demertzi et al. 2000).  相似文献

【背景】枯草芽孢杆菌N2-10是一株具有较强抑菌能力且能产纤维素酶等多种水解酶的革兰氏阳性菌,在发酵饲料中具有较大的应用潜力。【目的】通过获得枯草芽孢杆菌N2-10的全基因组序列信息,进一步解析菌株次级代谢产物合成基因信息,并通过比较基因组学分析菌株N2-10与模式菌株的差异性,为阐明N2-10抑菌和益生机制提供理论基础。【方法】通过二代Illumina NovaSeq联合三代PacBio Sequel测序平台,对菌株N2-10进行全基因组测序,将测序数据进行基因组组装、基因预测与功能注释,并利用比较基因组学分析N2-10与其他菌株的差异。【结果】菌株N2-10基因组大小为4 036 899 bp,GC含量为43.88%;共编码4 163个编码基因,所有编码基因总长度为3594369bp,编码区总长度占基因组总长度的89.04%;含有85个tRNA、10个5S rRNA、10个16S rRNA、10个23S rRNA,以及2个CRISPR-Cas、1个前噬菌体和6个基因岛;在GO (gene ontolog)、COG (clusters of orthologous groups of...  相似文献

We report herein the first crystal structures of (4-carboxy-1,3-thiazolidin-2-yl)pentitols [2-(polyhydroxyalkyl)thiazolidine-4-carboxylic acids], condensation products of l-cysteine with d-galactose and d-mannose: 2-(d-galacto-pentahydroxypentyl)thiazolidine-4-carboxylic acid hydrate, Gal-Cys·H2O (1), and 2-(d-manno-pentahydroxypentyl)thiazolidine-4-carboxylic acid hydrate, Man-Cys·H2O (2). In 1 and 2 the compounds crystallize as zwitterions, with the carboxylic groups deprotonated and the thiazolidine N atoms protonated. The sugar moiety and carboxylate group are in a cis configuration relative to the thiazolidinium ring, which adopts different conformation: twisted (T) on Cβ–S in 1, and S-puckered envelope (E) in 2. The carbon chain of the galactosyl/mannosyl moiety remains in an extended zig-zag conformation. The orientation of the sugar O2 atom with respect to the thiazolidinium S and N atoms is trans–gauche in 1 and gauche–gauche in 2. The molecular conformation is stabilized by the intramolecular N–H?OCys contacts in both 1 and 2 and by the additional N–H?OMan interaction in 2. The crystal packing of orthorhombic 1 and monoclinic 2 is determined mainly by N/O/C–H?O hydrogen bonds forming ribbons linked to each other by direct and water-mediated O/C–H?O/S contacts.  相似文献

A Middle–Late Eocene diagnostic larger foraminiferal assemblage is described and illustrated from carbonates of the uppermost Dammam Formation, on both sides of Gebel Hafit anticline in the Northern Oman Mountains in the United Arab Emirates. The Middle Eocene carbonates yielded Nummulites obesus d'Archiac, 1852, N. ismaili Boukhary, Hamdan & Bahr n. sp., N. papazzonii Boukhary, Hamdan & Bahr n. sp. and N. kenawyi Boukhary, Hamdan & Bahr n. sp. (a species of the N. burdigalensis group). In addition, N. cf. boussaci Rozlozsnik, 1924, N. cf. lorioli De La Harpe, 1879, N. hottingeri Schaub, 1981, N. strougoi Boukhary, Hamdan & Bahr n. sp. (of the N. partschi group), N. ansaryi Boukhary, Hamdan & Bahr n. sp. (of the N. gizehensis group), N. cf. praebullatus Schaub, 1981, N. cizancourti Sander, 1962 (of the group of N. fabianii), N. cf. stamineus Nuttall, 1927 (of the N. discorbinus group), N. maculatus Nuttall, 1926 (of the N. laevigatus group) and Assilina gigantea De La Harpe, 1926 are recorded. On the top of the sequence, an assemblage with N. hottingeri Schaub, 1981, which was assigned by Schaub 1981 to the Biarritzian ( = Bartonian), was found associated with N. ptukhiani, Silvestriella tetraedra (Gümbel, 1870) and Pellatispira madaraszi (Hantken, 1875); these findings suggest that this association should be assigned to the Priabonian stage, confirming for the sampled succession of a Late Eocene age for sediments deposited in an inner-shelf environment, which was possibly related to the eustatic fall of sea level at the end of the Priabonian.

The syntheses of 5-pyridyl-3((β-D-galactopyranosyl)-1,3,4-oxadiazole-2-thiones 3a3c and 5-pyridyl-2((β-D-galactopyranosyl)-4-benzyl-1,2,4-triazole-3-thiones 6a6c are reported. The existence of N-galactosides – not S-galactosides – was proven by IR and 15N NMR spectroscopy. The structures of the final products and the intermediates were elucidated by IR, 1H, 13C and 15N NMR spectroscopy and mass spectrometry.

Gas chromatographic methods were developed for the determination of optical isomers of 2-(4-chlorophenyl)isovaleric acid (CPIA) which constituted the acid moiety of the insecticide Fenvalerate molecule. The enantiomers of CPIA were derivatized into diastereoisomeric l-menthyl esters quantitatively via their acid chlorides and separated from each other on a column of 10% silicone DC QF-1 (3 mm i.d. × 2.25m). They were also derivatized into isopropylamides in the presence of N,N′-dicyclohexylcarbodiimide and were resolved on an open tubular glass capillary column (0.25 mm i.d. × 40 m) coated with optically active N,N′-[2,4-(6-ethoxy-1,3,5-triazine)diyl] bis(l-valyl-l-valyl-l-valine isopropyl ester) (OA-300). The ratios of optical isomers were determined from their separated peak areas and analytical values obtained by two methods were in good agreement with each other.

The chemical purity of CPIA was also determined by gas chromatography after derivatization to its methyl ester on a column of 2% DEGS (3 mm i.d. × 3 m) using m-nitroanisole as an internal standard.  相似文献

【目的】阐述阿拉伯海假交替单胞菌(Pseudoalteromonas arabiensis)的分子进化与生态适应策略。【方法】借助Illumina HiSeq X Ten和Oxford Nanopore PromethION测序平台对一株分离自太平洋表层海水的菌株Pseudoalteromonas arabiensis N1230-9进行全基因组测序,利用相关生物信息学分析软件对原始数据进行组装和基因组注释,并与一株分离自深海沉积物环境的模式菌株Pseudoalteromonas arabiensis JCM 17292进行比较基因组分析。【结果】菌株N1230-9基因组由2条染色体组成,基因组大小为4 627 470 bp,G+C含量为40.85%,共编码4 202个蛋白。功能基因注释结果显示,菌株N1230-9具有适应海洋环境的多种类型功能基因,包括重金属抗性基因、多种铁离子摄取系统编码基因、多种噬菌体防御系统编码基因、种类丰富的水解酶编码基因、多种碳水化合物代谢相关基因,以及数量众多的二元信号传导系统编码基因。通过比较基因组分析发现,菌株N1230-9和菌株JCM 17292拥有适应不同生态位的特有基因,这些基因主要涉及血红素摄取、重金属抗性、噬菌体防御、二元信号系统传导和横向基因水平转移。【结论】来自表层海水的菌株P. arabiensis N1230-9已演化出了适应其生态位的特有基因。  相似文献

In this study, an optically active diamine, N,N′-(pyromellitoyl)-bis{N-[4(4-aminophenoxy)phenyl]-2-(4-methyl)pentanamide} (1) containing amino acid l-leucine was prepared in three steps. The step-growth polymerization of this chiral diamine with several diisocyanates in room temperature ionic liquid (IL), 1,3-dipropylimidazolium bromide as an environmentally friendly solvent and in a volatile organic solvent, is investigated. The polymerization yields and inherent viscosities of the resulting poly(amide-ether-imide-urea)s are compared in both solvents. The results show that the IL to be the superior polymerization media. All of the obtained polymers exhibited good solubility in some polar aprotic organic solvents such as N,N-dimethyacetamide, N,N-dimethyformamide, dimethyl sulfoxide while thermal stability was not disturbed based on thermogravimetric analysis and differential scanning calorimetry experiments. X-ray diffraction analysis of polymers shows that they are amorphous. The observation of optical rotation confirms the optical activity of prepared polymers.  相似文献

Abstract

Aromatic α-halohydrins, particularly 2-haloethanols as significant precursor of drugs, can easily be converted to chiral β-adrenergic receptor blockers. Eight strains of Lactobacillus curvatus were tested as biocatalysts for asymmetric reduction of 2-bromo-1-(naphthalen-2-yl)ethanone 1 to 2-bromo-1- (naphthalen-2-yl) ethanol 2. The parameters of the bioreduction were optimized using L. curvatus N4, the best biocatalyst found. As a result, (R)-2-bromo-1-(naphthalen-2-yl)ethanol 2, which can be β-adrenergic receptor blocker precursor, was produced for the first time in high yield and enantiomerically pure form using biocatalysts. Moreover, the gram scale synthesis was performed and 7.54?g of (R)-2 was synthesized as enantiopure form (enantiomeric excess >99%) in 48?h. The important advantages of this process are that it produces of (R)-2 for the first time in enantiopure form, in excellent yield and under environmentally friendly and moderate reaction conditions. This system is of the potential to be applied at a commercial scale.  相似文献

Chemical syntheses of 2′-O-(allyloxycarbonyl)methyladenosine, 2′-O-(methoxycarbonyl)methyladenosine and 2′-O-(2,3-dibenzoyloxy)propyluridine 3′-2-cyanoethyl-N,N-diisopropyl phosphoramidite building blocks are described. These monomers were used successfully to incorporate carboxylic acid, 1,2-diol and aldehyde functionalities into synthetic oligonucleotides.  相似文献

【背景】类诺卡氏菌(Nocardioides sp.) InS609-2是一株分离自南极洲罗斯海特拉诺瓦湾的恩克斯堡岛土壤中潜在的极地放线菌新种。尚无研究报道Nocardioides sp.InS609-2的全基因组序列,缺少对其功能基因、代谢产物合成途径及比较基因组学等的研究。【目的】解析Nocardioides sp.InS609-2的基因组序列信息,以深入挖掘次级代谢产物基因资源。【方法】利用Illumina HiSeq高通量测序平台对菌株InS609-2进行全基因组完成图测序,使用相关软件对测序数据进行基因组组装、基因预测和功能注释、预测次级代谢产物合成基因簇和共线性分析等。【结果】基因组最后得到的总长度为4 524 052 bp,G+C含量为69.42%,预测到4 656个基因、56个tRNA和6个rRNA。根据Nocardioides sp.InS609-2的全基因组测序结果,分别有3 761、3 052、1 767、4 134和2 725个基因在COG、GO、KEGG、NR和Swiss-Prot数据库中提取到注释信息。同时,还预测得到19个次级代谢产物合成基因簇。基因组测序数据提交至NCBI获得GenBank登录号为CP060034。Nocardioides sp.InS609-2与N. dokdonensis CP015079、N. yefusunii CP034929、N. euryhalodurans CP038267、N. seonyuensis CP038436、N. daphniae CP038462和N. okcheonensis CP087710这6株基因组同源性比较高的类诺卡氏菌进行共线性分析和蛋白聚类分类分析,得到的结果是7个基因组间既有保守性又各自有独特性。七个基因组共有44个蛋白聚类簇。最后进行16S rRNA基因系统发育树、泛基因组、core基因组和基因组进化树分析,进一步挖掘了Nocardioides sp.InS609-2的基因组信息。【结论】从基因组层面上预测了Nocardioides sp.InS609-2的次级代谢产物的生物合成基因簇,为InS609-2的后续相关研究提供了参考信息,具有重要意义。  相似文献

Abstract

An efficient synthesis of 5′-nor carbocyclic ribavirin (4) is described in 13 steps from conveniently available (+)-(1R,4S)-4-hydroxy-2-cyclopenten-1-yl acetate (6). Compound 4 was evaluated against the following viruses: herpes simplex type 1 and 2, vaccinia, cowpox, smallpox, Ebola, hepatitis B, hepatitis C, adenovirus type 1, influenza A (H1N1 and H3N2), influenza B, parainfluenza type 3, Pichinde, Punta Toro A, respiratory syncytial, rhinovirus type 2, Venezuelan equine encephalitis, yellow fever, and West Nile. No activity was found nor was there any cytotoxicity to the viral host cells.  相似文献
