Poly(3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) has been is applied as hole transport material in organic electronic devices for more than 20 years. However, the redundant sulfonic acid group of PEDOT:PSS has often been overlooked. Herein, PEDOT:PSS‐DA is prepared via a facile doping of PEDOT:PSS with dopamine hydrochloride (DA·HCl) which reacts with the redundant sulfonic acid of PSS. The PEDOT:PSS‐DA film exhibits enhanced work function and conductivity compared to those of PEDOT:PSS. PEDOT:PSS‐DA‐based devices show a power conversion efficiency of 16.55% which is the highest in organic solar cells (OSCs) with (poly[(2,6‐(4,8‐bis(5‐(2‐ethylhexyl)‐4‐fluorothiophen‐2‐yl)benzo[1,2‐b:4,5‐b′]dithio‐phene))‐co‐(1,3‐di(5‐thiophene‐2‐yl)‐5,7‐bis(2‐ethylhexyl)‐benzo[1,2‐c:4,5‐c′]dithiophene‐4,8‐dione))] (PM6):(2,2′‐((2Z,2′Z)‐((12,13‐bis(2‐ethylhexyl)‐3,9‐diundecyl‐12,13‐dihydro‐[1,2,5]thiadiazolo[3,4‐e]thieno[2′′,3′:4′,5′]thieno[2′,3′:4,5]pyrrolo[3,2‐g]thieno[2′,3′:4,5]thieno[3,2‐b]indole‐2,10‐diyl)bis(methanylylidene))bis(5,6‐difluoro‐3‐oxo‐2,3‐dihydro‐1H‐indene‐2,1‐diylidene))dimalononitrile) (Y6) as the active layer. Furthermore, PEDOT:PSS‐DA also exhibits enhanced performance in three other donor/acceptor systems, exhibiting high compatibility in OSCs. This work demonstrates that doping PEDOT:PSS with various amino derivatives is a potentially efficient strategy to enhance the performance of PEDOT:PSS in organic electronic devices.  相似文献

Organic solar cells (OSCs) containing non‐fullerene acceptors have realized high power conversion efficiency (PCE) up to 14%. However, most of these high‐performance non‐fullerene OSCs have been reported with optimal active layer thickness of about 100 nm, mainly due to the low electron mobility (≈10?4–10?5 cm2 V?1 s?1) of non‐fullerene acceptors, which are not suitable for roll‐to‐roll large‐scale processing. In this work, an efficient non‐fullerene OSC based on poly[(5,6‐difluoro‐2,1,3‐benzothiadiazol‐4,7‐diyl)‐alt‐(3,3′″‐di(2‐octyldodecyl)‐2,2′;5′,2″;5″,2′″‐quaterthiophen‐5,5′′′‐diyl)] (PffBT4T‐2OD):EH‐IDTBR (consists of electron‐rich indaceno[1,2‐b:5,6‐b′]dithiophene as the central unit and an electron‐deficient 5,6‐benzo[c][1,2,5]thiadiazole unit flanked with rhodanine as the peripheral group) with thickness‐independent PCE (maintaining a PCE of 9.1% with an active layer thickness of 300 nm) is presented by optimizing device architectures to overcome the space‐charge effects. Optical modeling reveals that most of the incident light is absorbed near the transparent electrode side in thick‐film devices. The transport distance of electrons with lower mobility will therefore be shortened when using inverted device architecture, in which most of the excitons are generated close to the cathode side and therefore substantially reduces the accumulation of electrons in the device. As a result, an efficient thick‐film non‐fullerene OSC is realized. These results provide important guidelines for the development of more efficient thick‐film non‐fullerene OSCs.  相似文献

Window integrated photovoltaics for automotive and building applications are a promising market segment for organic solar modules. Besides semi‐transparency, window integrated applications require a reasonable transparency perception and good color rendering properties in order to be suitable for realistic scene illumination. Here, the transmitted light through semi‐transparent organic solar cells comprising the polymer/fullerene blend poly[(4,4'‐bis(2‐ethylhexyl)dithieno[3,2‐b:2',3'‐d]silole)‐2,6‐diyl‐alt‐(2,1,3‐benzothiadiazole)‐4,7‐diyl]: [6,6]‐phenyl C71‐butric acid methyl ester (PSBTBT:PC70BM) as active layer and a sputtered aluminum doped zinc oxide cathode were found to exhibit a color neutral perception for the human eye and very good color rendering properties. Moreover, the electrical cell properties allow for efficient energy harvesting with an overall power conversion efficiency η ≈ 3%.  相似文献

The room temperature (RT) processability of the photoactive layers in polymer solar cells (PSCs) from halogen‐free solvent along with their highly reproducible power conversion efficiencies (PCEs) and intrinsic thickness tolerance are extremely desirable for the large‐area roll‐to‐roll (R2R) production. However, most of the photoactive materials in PSCs require elevated processing temperatures due to their strong aggregation, which are unfavorable for the industrial R2R manufacturing of PSCs. These limiting factors for the commercialization of PSCs are alleviated by synthesizing random terpolymers with components of (2‐decyltetradecyl)thiophen‐2‐yl)naphtho[1,2‐c:5,6‐c′]bis[1,2,5]thiadiazole and bithiophene substituted with methyl thiophene‐3‐carboxylate (MTC). In contrast to the temperature‐dependent PNTz4T polymer, the resulting random terpolymers (PNTz4T‐MTC) show better solubility, slightly reduced crystallinity and aggregation, and weaker intermolecular interaction, thus enabling PNTz4T‐MTC to be processed at RT from a halogen‐free solvent. Particularly, the PNTz4T‐5MTC‐based photoactive layer exhibits an excellent PCE of 9.66%, which is among the highest reported PCEs for RT and ecofriendly halogen‐free solvent processed fullerene‐based PSCs, and a thickness tolerance with a PCE exceeding 8% from 100 to 520 nm. Finally, large‐area modules fabricated with the PNTz4T and PNTz4T‐5MTC polymer have shown 4.29% and 6.61% PCE respectively, with an area as high as 54.45 cm2 in air.  相似文献

Charge transport and recombination are studied for organic solar cells fabricated using blends of polymer poly[(4,4′‐bis(2‐ethylhexyl)dithieno[3,2‐b:2′,3′‐d]silole)‐2,6‐diyl‐alt‐(4,7‐bis(2‐thienyl)‐2,1,3‐benzothiadiazole)‐5,5′‐diyl] (Si‐PCPDTBT) with [6,6]‐phenyl‐C61‐butyric acid methyl ester (mono‐PCBM) and the bis‐adduct analogue of mono‐PCBM (bis‐PCBM). The photocurrent of Si‐PCPDTBT:bis‐PCBM devices shows a strong square root dependence on the effective applied voltage. From the relationship between the photocurrent and the light intensity, we found that the square‐root dependence of the photocurrent is governed by the mobility‐lifetime (μτ) product of charge carriers while space‐charge field effects are insignificant. The fill factor (FF) and short circuit current density (Jsc) of bis‐PCBM solar cells show a considerable increase with temperature as compared to mono‐PCBM solar cells. SCLC analysis of single carrier devices proofs that the mobility of both electrons and holes is significantly lowered when replacing mono‐PCBM with bis‐PCBM. The increased recombination in Si‐PCPDTBT:bis‐PCBM solar cells is therefore attributed to the low carrier mobilities, as the transient photovoltage measurements show that the carrier lifetime of devices are not significantly altered by using bis‐PCBM instead of mono‐PCBM.  相似文献

A novel wide‐bandgap electron‐donating copolymer containing an electron‐deficient, difluorobenzotriazole building block with a siloxane‐terminated side chain is developed. The resulting polymer, poly{(4,8‐bis(4,5‐dihexylthiophen‐2‐yl)benzo[1,2‐b:4,5‐b′]dithiophene‐co‐4,7‐di(thiophen‐2‐yl)‐5,6‐difluoro‐2‐(6‐(1,1,1,3,5,5,5‐heptamethyltri‐siloxan‐3‐yl)hexyl)‐2H‐benzo[d][1,2,3]triazole} (PBTA‐Si), is used to successfully fabricate high‐performance, ternary, all‐polymer solar cells (all‐PSCs) insensitive to the active layer thickness. An impressively high fill factor of ≈76% is achieved with various ternary‐blending ratios. The optimized all‐PSCs attain a power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 9.17% with an active layer thickness of 350 nm and maintain a PCE over 8% for thicknesses over 400 nm, which is the highest reported efficiency for thick all‐PSCs. These results can be attributed to efficient charge transfer, additional energy transfer, high and balanced charge transport, and weak recombination behavior in the photoactive layer. Moreover, the photoactive layers of the ternary all‐PSCs are processed in a nonhalogenated solvent, 2‐methyltetrahydrofuran, which greatly improves their compatibility with large‐scale manufacturing.  相似文献

Currently, constructing ternary organic solar cells (OSCs) and developing nonfullerene small molecule acceptors (n‐SMAs) are two pivotal avenues to enhance the device performance. However, introducing n‐SMAs into the ternary OSCs to construct thick layer device is still a challenge due to their inferior charge transport property and unclear aggregation mechanism. In this work, a novel wide band gap copolymer 4,8‐bis(4,5‐dioctylthiophen‐2‐yl) benzo[1,2‐b:4,5‐b′]dithiophene‐2,6‐diyl‐alt‐N‐(2‐hexyldecyl)‐5,5′‐bis(thiophen‐2‐yl)‐2,2′‐bithiophene‐3,3′‐dicarboximide (PDOT) is designed and blend of PDOT:PC71BM achieves a power conversion efficiency (PCE) of 9.5% with active layer thickness over 200 nm. The rationally selected n‐SMA based on a bulky seven‐ring fused core (indacenodithieno[3,2‐b]thiophene) end‐capped with 2‐(3‐oxo‐2,3‐dihydroinden‐1‐ylidene) malononitrile groups (ITIC) is introduced into the host binary PDOT:PC71BM system to extend the absorption range and reduce the photo energy loss. After fully investigating the morphology evolution of the ternary blends, the different aggregation behavior of n‐SMAs with respect to their fullerene counterpart is revealed and the adverse effect of introducing n‐SMAs on charge transport is successfully avoided. The ternary OSC delivers a PCE of 11.2% with a 230 nm thick active layer, which is among the highest efficiencies of thick layer OSCs. The results demonstrate the feasibility of using n‐SMAs to construct a thick layer ternary device for the first time, which will greatly promote the efficiency of thick layer ternary devices.  相似文献

The complex intermixing morphology is critical for the performance of the nanostructured polymer:fullerene bulk heterojunction (BHJ) solar cells. Here, time resolved in situ grazing incidence X‐ray diffraction and grazing incidence small angle X‐ray scattering are used to track the structure formation of BHJ thin films formed from the donor polymer poly(2,5‐bis(3‐hexadecylthiophen‐2‐yl)thieno[3,2‐b]thiophene) with different fullerene derivative acceptors. The formation of stable bimolecular crystals through the intercalation of fullerene molecules between the side chains of polymer crystallites is investigated. Such systems exhibit more efficient exciton dissociation but lower photo‐conductance and faster decay of charges. On the basis of the experimental observations, intercalation obviously takes place before or with the formation of the crystalline polymer domains. It results in more stable structures whose volume remains constant upon further drying. Three distinct periods of drying are observed and the formation of unidimensional fullerene channels along the π‐stacking direction of polymer crystallites is confirmed.  相似文献

Donor–acceptor (D–A) type copolymers show great potential for the application in the active layer of organic solar cells. Nevertheless the nature of the excited states, the coupling mechanism and the relaxation pathways following photoexcitation are yet to be clarified. We carried out comparative measurements of the steady state absorption and photoluminescence (PL) on the copolymer poly[N‐(1‐octylnonyl)‐2,7‐carbazole]‐alt‐5,5‐[4′,7′‐di(thien‐2‐yl)‐2′,1′,3′‐benzothiadiazole] (PCDTBT), its building blocks as well as on the newly synthesized N‐(1‐octylnonyl)‐2,7‐bis‐[(5‐phenyl)thien‐2‐yl)carbazole (BPT‐carbazole). The high‐energy absorption band (HEB) of PCDTBT was identified with absorption of carbazoles with adjacent thiophene rings while the low‐energy band (LEB) originates instead from the charge transfer (CT) state delocalized over the aforementioned unit with adjacent benzothiadiazole group. Photoexcitation of the HEB is followed by internal relaxation prior the radiative decay to the ground state. Adding PC70BM results in the efficient PL quenching within the first 50 ps after excitation. From the PL excitation experiments no evidence for a direct electron transfer from the HEB of PCDTBT towards the fullerene acceptor was found, therefore the internal relaxation mechanisms within PCDTBT can be assumed to precede. Our findings indicate that effective coupling between copolymer building blocks governs the photovoltaic performance of the blends.  相似文献

With the advances in organic photovoltaics (OPVs), the invention of model polymers with superior properties and wide applicability is of vital importance to both the academic and industrial communities. The recent inspiring advances in OPV research have included the emergence of poly(benzodithiophene‐co‐thieno[3,4‐b]thiophene) (PBDTTT)‐based materials. Through the combined efforts on PBDTTT polymers, over 10% efficiencies have been realized recently in various types of OPV devices. This review attempts to critically summarize the recent advances with respect to five well‐known PBDTTT polymers and their design considerations, basic properties, photovoltaic performance, as well as device application in conventional, inverted, tandem solar cells. These PBDTTT polymers also make great contributions to the rapid advances in the field of emerging ternary blends and fullerene‐free OPVs with top performances. Addtionally, new challenges in developing novel photovoltaic polymers with more superior properties are prospected. More importantly, the research of highly efficient PBDTTT‐based polymers provides useful insights and builds fundamentals for new types of OPV applications with various architectures.  相似文献

A method to study the structural evolution of organic bulk heterojunctions via real‐time, in‐situ, steady‐state photoluminescence (PL) is presented. In‐situ PL, in combination with real‐time transmission and reflection measurements, allows us to quantitatively describe the progression of intimate mixing during blade coating of two OPV systems: the common model system poly(3‐hexylthiophene‐2,5‐diyl)/phenyl‐C61‐butyric‐acid‐methyl ester (P3HT/PCBM), and the higher power conversion efficiency system 7,7′‐(4,4bis(2‐ethylhexyl)‐4H‐silolo[3,2‐b:4,5‐b′]dithiophene‐2,6‐diyl)bis(6‐fluoro‐5‐(5′‐hexyl‐[2,2′‐bithiophen]‐5‐yl)benzo[c][1,2,5]thiadiazaole), p‐DTS(FBTTh2)2/[70]PCBM. Evaluating the time dependence of the PL intensity during drying using a 3D‐random‐walk diffusion model allows for the quantitative determination of the ratio of characteristic domain size to exciton diffusion length during solidification in the presence of the processing additives 1‐chloronaphtalene (CN), 1,8‐octanedithiol (ODT), and 1,8‐diiodooctane (DIO). In both cases, the obtained results are in good agreement with the typically observed fibril widths and grain sizes, for P3HT and p‐DTS(FBTTh2)2, respectively.  相似文献

We explore the interrelation between density of states, recombination kinetics, and device performance in efficient poly[4,8‐bis‐(2‐ethylhexyloxy)‐benzo[1,2‐b:4,5‐b']dithiophene‐2,6‐diyl‐alt‐4‐(2‐ethylhexyloxy‐1‐one)thieno[3,4‐b]thiophene‐2,6‐diyl]:[6,6]‐phenyl‐C71‐butyric acid methyl ester (PBDTTT‐C:PC71BM) bulk‐heterojunction organic solar cells. We modulate the active‐layer density of states by varying the polymer:fullerene composition over a small range around the ratio that leads to the maximum solar cell efficiency (50–67 wt% PC71BM). Using transient and steady‐state techniques, we find that nongeminate recombination limits the device efficiency and, moreover, that increasing the PC71BM content simultaneously increases the carrier lifetime and drift mobility in contrast to the behavior expected for Langevin recombination. Changes in electronic properties with fullerene content are accompanied by a significant change in the magnitude or energetic separation of the density of localized states. Our comprehensive approach to understanding device performance represents significant progress in understanding what limits these high‐efficiency polymer:fullerene systems.  相似文献

In very recent years, growing efforts have been devoted to the development of all‐polymer solar cells (all‐PSCs). One of the advantages of all‐PSCs over the fullerene‐based PSCs is the versatile design of both donor and acceptor polymers which allows the optimization of energy levels to maximize the open‐circuit voltage (Voc). However, there is no successful example of all‐PSCs with both high Voc over 1 V and high power conversion efficiency (PCE) up to 8% reported so far. In this work, a combination of a donor polymer poly[4,8‐bis(5‐(2‐octylthio)thiophen‐2‐yl)benzo[1,2‐b:4,5‐b′]dithiophene‐2,6‐diyl‐alt‐(5‐(2‐ethylhexyl)‐4H‐thieno[3,4‐c]pyrrole‐4,6(5H)‐dione)‐1,3‐diyl] (PBDTS‐TPD) with a low‐lying highest occupied molecular orbital level and an acceptor polymer poly[[N,N′‐bis(2‐octyldodecyl)‐naphthalene‐1,4,5,8‐bis(dicarboximide)‐2,6‐diyl]‐alt‐thiophene‐2,5‐diyl] (PNDI‐T) with a high‐lying lowest unoccupied molecular orbital level is used, realizing high‐performance all‐PSCs with simultaneously high Voc of 1.1 V and high PCE of 8.0%, and surpassing the performance of the corresponding PC71BM‐based PSCs. The PBDTS‐TPD:PNDI‐T all‐PSCs achieve a maximum internal quantum efficiency of 95% at 450 nm, which reveals that almost all the absorbed photons can be converted into free charges and collected by electrodes. This work demonstrates the advantages of all‐PSCs by incorporating proper donor and acceptor polymers to boost both Voc and PCEs.  相似文献

Design rules are presented for significantly expanding sequential processing (SqP) into previously inaccessible polymer:fullerene systems by tailoring binary solvent blends for fullerene deposition. Starting with a base solvent that has high fullerene solubility, 2‐chlorophenol (2‐CP), ellipsometry‐based swelling experiments are used to investigate different co‐solvents for the fullerene‐casting solution. By tuning the Flory‐Huggins χ parameter of the 2‐CP/co‐solvent blend, it is possible to optimally swell the polymer of interest for fullerene interdiffusion without dissolution of the polymer underlayer. In this way solar cell power conversion efficiencies are obtained for the PTB7 (poly[(4,8‐bis[(2‐ethylhexyl)oxy]benzo[1,2‐b:4,5‐b′]dithiophene‐2,6‐diyl)(3‐fluoro‐2‐[(2‐ethylhexyl)carbonyl]thieno[3,4‐b]thiophenediyl)]) and PC61BM (phenyl‐C61‐butyric acid methyl ester) materials combination that match those of blend‐cast films. Both semicrystalline (e.g., P3HT (poly(3‐hexylthiophene‐2,5‐diyl)) and entirely amorphous (e.g., PSDTTT (poly[(4,8‐di(2‐butyloxy)benzo[1,2‐b:4,5‐b′]dithiophene‐2,6‐diyl)‐alt‐(2,5‐bis(4,4′‐bis(2‐octyl)dithieno[3,2‐b:2′3′‐d]silole‐2,6‐diyl)thiazolo[5,4‐d]thiazole)]) conjugated polymers can be processed into highly efficient photovoltaic devices using the solvent‐blend SqP design rules. Grazing‐incidence wide‐angle x‐ray diffraction experiments confirm that proper choice of the fullerene casting co‐solvent yields well‐ordered interdispersed bulk heterojunction (BHJ) morphologies without the need for subsequent thermal annealing or the use of trace solvent additives (e.g., diiodooctane). The results open SqP to polymer/fullerene systems that are currently incompatible with traditional methods of device fabrication, and make BHJ morphology control a more tractable problem.  相似文献

Organic bulk heterojunction photovoltaic devices predominantly use the fullerene derivatives [C60]PCBM and [C70]PCBM as the electron accepting component. This report presents a new organic electron accepting small molecule 2‐[{7‐(9,9‐di‐n‐propyl‐9H‐fluoren‐2‐yl)benzo[c][1,2,5]thiadiazol‐4‐yl}methylene]malononitrile (K12) for organic solar cell applications. It can be processed by evaporation under vacuum or by solution processing to give amorphous thin films and can be annealed at a modest temperature to give films with much greater order and enhanced charge transport properties. The molecule can efficiently quench the photoluminescence of the donor polymer poly(3‐n‐hexylthiophene‐2,5‐diyl) (P3HT) and time resolved microwave conductivity measurements show that mobile charges are generated indicating that a truly charge separated state is formed. The power conversion efficiencies of the photovoltaic devices are found to depend strongly on the acceptor packing. Optimized K12:P3HT bulk heterojunction devices have efficiencies of 0.73±0.01% under AM1.5G simulated sunlight. The efficiencies of the devices are limited by the level of crystallinity and nanoscale morphology that was achievable in the blend with P3HT.  相似文献

The impact of trapping on the recombination dynamics in polymer:fullerene blends is clarified using the highly ordered bulk heterojunction (BHJ) blend poly[2,5‐bis(3‐tetradecylthiophen‐2‐yl)thieno[3,2‐b]thiophene] (PBTTT) and [6,6]‐phenyl‐C61‐butyric acid methyl ester (PCBM) at different weight ratios as a model system. The recombination dynamics are determined using both transient charge extraction and steady‐state techniques. The results show that both the decay of photogenerated charge and the light ideality factor at a polymer:fullerene weight ratio of 1:4 are fully consistent with 2D Langevin recombination; in the 1:1 case the recombination is seen to be affected by electron trapping. The theory of 2D Langevin recombination is extended to the case with high trap density in agreement with the observations in the 1:1 case. The recombination capture coefficients are derived both for trap‐assisted and band‐to‐band recombination and it can be seen that anisotropic charge transport reduces the capture coefficients in both cases resulting in a reduced overall recombination.  相似文献

We present the addition of an energy relay dye to fullerenes resulting in increased light harvesting and significantly improved power conversion efficiency for organic photovoltaic (OPV) devices. Although exhibiting excellent properties as electron acceptors, visible light absorption of fullerenes is limited. Strongly light absorbing donor materials are needed for efficient light harvesting in the thin active layer of OPV devices. Therefore, photocurrent generation and thus power conversion efficiency of this type of solar cell is confined by the overlap of the relatively narrow absorption band of commonly used donor molecules with the solar spectrum. Herein the concept of fullerene dye sensitization is presented, which allows increased light harvesting on the electron acceptor side of the heterojunction. The concept is exemplarily shown for an UV absorbing small molecule and a near infrared absorbing polymer, namely hexa‐peri‐hexabenzocoronene (HBC) and Poly[2,1,3‐benzothiadiazole‐4,7‐diyl[4,4‐bis(2‐ethylhexyl)‐4H‐cyclopenta[2,1‐b:3,4‐b']dithiophene‐2,6‐diyl]] (PCPDTBT), respectively. In both systems remarkably higher power conversion efficiency is achieved via perylene sensitization of the fullerene acceptor. Steady state photoluminescence, transient absorption and transient photocurrent decay studies reveal pathways of the additionally generated excited states at the sensitizer molecule. The findings suggest fluorescence resonance energy transfer from the photo‐excited dye to the fullerene enabling decoupling of light absorption and charge transport. The presented sensitization method is proposed as a viable new concept for performance enhancement in organic photovoltaic devices.  相似文献

A class of “push‐pull” conjugated copolymers based on cyclopenta[c]thiophene‐4,6‐dione (CTD) and benzodithiophene (BDT) is synthesized for application as an electron donor in organic photovoltaics (OPV). Given the diverse electronic and structural tunability of the CTD unit, specific CTD‐containing copolymers are chosen with the aid of theoretical calculations from a broad array of potential candidate materials. Evaluation of the chosen materials as OPV absorbers includes characterization of the optical, electronic, and structural properties of the polymer films using UV‐vis absorbance, photoluminescence, cyclic voltammetry, and X‐ray diffraction techniques. In addition, the contactless time‐resolved microwave conductivity (TRMC) technique is used to measure the photoconductance of polymer/fullerene blends. Excellent correlation between measured photoconductance and OPV device efficiency is demonstrated with these materials and TRMC is discussed as a tool for screening potential active layer materials for OPV devices.  相似文献

Based on the most recently significant progress within the last one year in organic photovoltaic research from either alkylthiolation or fluorination on benzo[1,2‐b:4,5‐b′]dithiophene moiety for high efficiency polymer solar cells (PSCs), two novel simultaneously fluorinated and alkylthiolated benzo[1,2‐b:4,5‐b′] dithiophene (BDT)‐based donor–acceptor (D–A) polymers, poly(4,8‐bis(5′‐((2″‐ethylhexyl)thio)‐4′‐fluorothiophen‐2′‐yl)benzo[1,2‐b:4,5‐b′]dithiophene‐2,6‐diyl)‐alt‐2′‐ethylhexyl‐3‐fluorothieno[3,4‐b]thiophene‐2‐carboxylate (PBDTT‐SF‐TT) and poly(4,8‐bis(5′‐((2″‐ethylhexyl)thio)‐4′‐fluorothiophen‐2′‐yl)benzo[1,2‐b:4,5‐b′]dithiophene‐2,6‐diyl)‐alt‐1,3‐bis(thiophen‐2‐yl)‐5,7‐bis(2‐ethylhexyl)benzo[1,2‐c:4,5‐c′]dithiophene‐4,8‐dione (PBDTT‐SF‐BDD), namely, via an advantageous and synthetically economic route for the key monomer are reported herein. Synergistic effects of fluorination and alkylthiolation on BDT moieties are discussed in detail, which is based on the superior balance between high Voc and large Jsc when PBDTT‐SF‐TT/PC71BM and PBDTT‐SF‐BDD/PC71BM solar cells present their high Voc as 1.00 and 0.97 V (associated with their deep highest occupied molecular orbital level of ?5.54 and ?5.61 eV), a moderately high Jsc of 14.79 and 14.70 mA cm?2, and thus result a high power conversion efficiency of 9.07% and 9.72%, respectively. Meanwhile, for PBDTT‐SF‐TT, a very low energy loss of 0.59 eV is pronounced, leading to the promisingly high voltage, and furthermore performance study and morphological results declare an additive‐free PSC from PBDTT‐SF‐TT, which is beneficial to practical applications.  相似文献
