The great potential of solution‐processed metal nanowire networks utilized as a transparent electrode has attracted much attention in the last years. Typically, silver nanowires are applied, although their replacement by more abundant and cheaper materials is of interest. Here, a hydrazine‐free synthesis route for high aspect ratio copper nanowires is used to prepare conductive networks showing an enhanced electrode performance. The network deposition is done with a scalable spray‐coating process on glass and on polymer foils. By a pressing or an annealing step, highly conductive transparent electrodes are obtained, and they reveal transmittance‐resistance values similar to indium tin oxide (ITO) and networks made of silver nanowires. The application potential of the copper nanowire electrodes is demonstrated by integrating them into an evaporated small‐molecule organic solar cell with 3% efficiency.  相似文献

Layered molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) is deposited by microwave heating on a reduced graphene oxide (RGO). Three concentrations of MoS2 are loaded on RGO, and the structure and morphology are characterized. The first layers of MoS2 are detected as being directly bonded with the oxygen of the RGO by covalent chemical bonds (Mo‐O‐C). Electrochemical characterizations indicate that this electroactive material can be cycled reversibly between 0.25 and 0.8 V in 1 m HClO4 solution for hybrids with low concentrations of MoS2 layers (LCMoS2/RGO) and between 0.25 and 0.65 V for medium (MCMoS2/RGO) and high concentrations (HCMoS2/RGO) of MoS2 layers on graphene. The specific capacitance measured values at 10 mV s?1 are 128, 265, and 148 Fg?1 for the MoS2/RGO with low, medium, and high concentrations of MoS2, respectively, and the calculated energy density is 63 W h kg?1 for the LCMoS2/RGO hybrid. This supercapacitor electrode also exhibits superior cyclic stability with 92% of the specific capacitance retained after 1000 cycles.  相似文献

Hierarchical Cu2S microspheres wrapped by reduced graphene oxide (RGO) nanosheets are prepared via a one‐step solvothermal process. The amount of graphene oxide used in the synthesis process has a remarkable effect on the features of Cu2S microspheres. Compared to Pt and Cu2S electrodes, RGO‐Cu2S electrodes show better electrocatalytic activity, greater stability, lower charge‐transfer resistance, and higher exchange current density. As expected, RGO‐Cu2S electrodes exhibit superior performance when functioning as counter electrodes in CdS/CdSe quantum dot‐sensitized solar cells (QDSSCs) using a polysulfide electrolyte. A power conversion efficiency up to 3.85% is achieved for the QDSSC employing an optimized RGO‐Cu2S counter electrode, which is higher than those of the QDSSCs featuring Pt (2.14%) and Cu2S (3.39%) counter electrodes.  相似文献

Transparent top electrodes for solid‐state dye‐sensitized solar cells (ssDSCs) allow for fabrication of mechanically stacked ssDSC tandems, partially transparent ssDSCs for building integration, and ssDSCs on metal foil substrates. A solution‐processed, highly transparent, conductive electrode based on PEDOT:PSS [poly(3,4‐ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate)] and spray‐deposited silver nanowires (Ag NWs) is developed as an effective top contact for ssDSCs. The electrode is solution‐deposited using conditions and solvents that do not damage or dissolve the underlying ssDSC and achieves high performance: a peak transmittance of nearly 93% at a sheet resistance of 18 Ω/square – all without any annealing that would harm the ssDSC. The role of the PEDOT:PSS in the electrode is twofold: it ensures ohmic contact between the ssDSC 2,2′,7,7′‐tetrakis‐(N,N‐di‐p‐methoxyphenylamine)9,9′‐spirobifluorene (Spiro‐OMeTAD) overlayer and the silver nanowires and it decreases the series resistance of the device. Semitransparent ssDSCs with D35 dye fabricated using this Ag NW/PEDOT:PSS transparent electrode show power conversion efficiencies of 3.6%, nearly as high as a reference device using an evaporated silver electrode (3.7%). In addition, the semitransparent ssDSC shows high transmission between 700–1100 nm, a necessity for use in efficient tandem devices. Such an electrode, in combination with efficient ssDSCs or hybrid perovskite‐sensitized solar cells, can allow for the fabrication of efficient, cost‐effective tandem photovoltaics.  相似文献

Safety and the polysulfide shuttle reaction are two major challenges for liquid electrolyte lithium–sulfur (Li–S) batteries. Although use of solid‐state electrolytes can overcome these two challenges, it also brings new challenges by increasing the interface resistance and stress/strain. In this work, the interface resistance and stress/strain of sulfur cathodes are significantly reduced by conformal coating ≈2 nm sulfur (S) onto reduced graphene oxide (rGO). An Li–S full cell consisting of an rGO@S‐Li10GeP2S12‐acetylene black (AB) composite cathode is evaluated. At 60 °C, the all‐solid‐state Li–S cell demonstrates a similar electrochemical performance as in liquid organic electrolyte, with high rate capacities of 1525.6, 1384.5, 1336.3, 903.2, 502.6, and 204.7 mA h g?1 at 0.05, 0.1, 0.5, 1.0, 2.0, and 5.0 C, respectively. It can maintain a high and reversible capacity of 830 mA h g?1 at 1.0 C for 750 cycles. The uniform distribution of the rGO@S nanocomposite in the Li10GeP2S12‐AB matrix generates uniform volume changes during lithiation/delithiation, significantly reducing the stress/strain, thus extending the cycle life. Minimization of the stress/strain of solid cells is the key for a long cycle life of all‐solid‐state Li–S batteries.  相似文献

Portable electronic devices have become increasingly widespread. Because these devices cannot always be tethered to a central grid, powering them will require low‐cost energy harvesting technologies. As a response to this anticipated demand, this study demonstrates transparent organic solar cells fabricated on flexible substrates, including plastic and paper, using graphene as both the anode and cathode. Optical transmittance of up to 69% at 550 nm is achieved by combining the highly transparent graphene electrodes with organic polymers that primarily absorb in the near‐IR and near‐UV regimes. To address the challenge of transferring graphene onto organic layers as the top electrode, this study develops a room temperature dry‐transfer technique using ethylene‐vinyl‐acetate as an adhesion‐promoting interlayer. The power conversion efficiency achieved for flexible devices with graphene anode and cathode devices is 2.8%–3.8% at for optical transmittance of 54%–61% across the visible regime. These results demonstrate the versatility of graphene in optoelectronic applications and it is important step toward developing a practical power source for distributed wireless electrical systems.  相似文献

Lithium‐ion capacitors (LICs) with capacitor‐type cathodes and battery‐type anodes are considered a promising next‐generation advanced energy storages system that meet the requirements of high energy density and power density. However, the mismatch of charge‐storage capacity and electrode kinetics between positive and negative electrodes remains a challenge. Herein, layered SnS2/reduced graphene oxide (RGO) nanocomposites are developed for negative electrodes and a 2D B/N codoped carbon (BCN) nanosheet is designed for the positive electrode. The SnS2/RGO derived from SnS2‐bonded RGO of high conductivity exhibits a capacity of 1198 mA h g?1 at 100 mA g?1. Boron and nitrogen atoms in BCN are found to promote adsorption of anions, which enhance the pseudocapacitive contribution as well as expanding the voltage of LICs. A quantitative kinetics analysis indicates that the SnS2/RGO electrodes with a dominating capacitive mechanism and a diminished intercalation process, benefit the kinetic balance between the two electrodes. With this particular structure, the LIC is able to operate at the highest operating voltage for these devices recorded to date (4.5 V), exhibiting an energy density of 149.5 W h kg?1, a power density of 35 kW kg?1, and a capacity retention ratio of 90% after 10 000 cycles.  相似文献

3D lithium vanadium phosphate/reduced graphene oxide porous structures are prepared using a facile lyophilization process. The 3D porous nature of these lyophilized electrodes along with their high surface area lead to high rate capability and specific capacity. A high specific discharge capacity of ≈192 mAh g?1 is observed at 0.5 C. The cycling performance is noteworthy, as these lyophilized samples at 0.5 and 1 C do not show any fading, even after 1000 and 5000 cycles, respectively. Capacity retention of ≈96.2% is observed at the end of 10 000 cycles at 20 C. This remarkable cycling performance is attributed to the structural stability of the 3D porous network and is confirmed using scanning electron microscopy and selected area electron diffraction after 10 000 cycles of consecutive charging and discharging at 20 C.  相似文献

A simple ball‐milling method is used to synthesize a tin oxide‐silicon carbide/few‐layer graphene core‐shell structure in which nanometer‐sized SnO2 particles are uniformly dispersed on a supporting SiC core and encapsulated with few‐layer graphene coatings by in situ mechanical peeling. The SnO2‐SiC/G nanocomposite material delivers a high reversible capacity of 810 mA h g?1 and 83% capacity retention over 150 charge/discharge cycles between 1.5 and 0.01 V at a rate of 0.1 A g?1. A high reversible capacity of 425 mA h g?1 also can be obtained at a rate of 2 A g?1. When discharged (Li extraction) to a higher potential at 3.0 V (vs. Li/Li+), the SnO2‐SiC/G nanocomposite material delivers a reversible capacity of 1451 mA h g?1 (based on the SnO2 mass), which corresponds to 97% of the expected theoretical capacity (1494 mA h g?1, 8.4 equivalent of lithium per SnO2), and exhibits good cyclability. This result suggests that the core‐shell nanostructure can achieve a completely reversible transformation from Li4.4Sn to SnO2 during discharging (i.e., Li extraction by dealloying and a reversible conversion reaction, generating 8.4 electrons). This suggests that simple mechanical milling can be a powerful approach to improve the stability of high‐performance electrode materials involving structural conversion and transformation.  相似文献

Vanadium pentoxide (V2O5) layered nanostructures are known to have very stable crystal structures and high faradaic activity. The low electronic conductivity of V2O5 greatly limits the application of vanadium oxide as electrode materials and requires combining with conducting materials using binders. It is well known that the organic binders can degrade the overall performance of electrode materials and need carefully controlled compositions. In this study, we develop a simple method for preparing freestanding carbon nanotube (CNT)‐V2O5 nanowire (VNW) composite paper electrodes without using binders. Coin cell type (CR2032) supercapacitors are assembled using the nanocomposite paper electrode as the anode and high surface area carbon fiber electrode (Spectracarb 2225) as the cathode. The supercapacitor with CNT‐VNW composite paper electrode exhibits a power density of 5.26 kW Kg?1 and an energy density of 46.3 Wh Kg?1. (Li)VNWs and CNT composite paper electrodes can be fabricated in similar manner and show improved overall performance with a power density of 8.32 kW Kg?1 and an energy density of 65.9 Wh Kg?1. The power and energy density values suggest that such flexible hybrid nanocomposite paper electrodes may be useful for high performance electrochemical supercapacitors.  相似文献

Silver nanowire (AgNW)‐based transparent electrodes prepared via an all‐solution‐process are proposed as bottom electrodes in flexible perovskite solar cells (PVSCs). To enhance the chemical stability of AgNWs, a pinhole‐free amorphous aluminum doped zinc oxide (a‐AZO) protection layer is deposited on the AgNW network. Compared to its crystalline counterpart (c‐AZO), a‐AZO substantially improves the chemical stability of the AgNW network. For the first time, it is observed that inadequately protected AgNWs can evanesce via diffusion, whereas a‐AZO secures the integrity of AgNWs. When an optimally thick a‐AZO layer is used, the a‐AZO/AgNW/AZO composite electrode exhibits a transmittance of 88.6% at 550 nm and a sheet resistance of 11.86 Ω sq?1, which is comparable to that of commercial fluorine doped tin oxide. The PVSCs fabricated with a configuration of Au/spiro‐OMeTAD/CH3NH3PbI3/ZnO/AZO/AgNW/AZO on rigid and flexible substrates can achieve power conversion efficiencies (PCEs) of 13.93% and 11.23%, respectively. The PVSC with the a‐AZO/AgNW/AZO composite electrode retains 94% of its initial PCE after 400 bending iterations with a bending radius of 12.5 mm. The results clearly demonstrate the potential of AgNWs as bottom electrodes in flexible PVSCs, which can facilitate the commercialization and large‐scale deployment of PVSCs.  相似文献

The current Na+ storage performance of carbon‐based materials is still hindered by the sluggish Na+ ion transfer kinetics and low capacity. Graphene and its derivatives have been widely investigated as electrode materials in energy storage and conversion systems. However, as anode materials for sodium‐ion batteries (SIBs), the severe π–π restacking of graphene sheets usually results in compact structure with a small interlayer distance and a long ion transfer distance, thus leading to low capacity and poor rate capability. Herein, partially reduced holey graphene oxide is prepared by simple H2O2 treatment and subsequent low temperature reduction of graphene oxide, leading to large interlayer distance (0.434 nm), fast ion transport, and larger Na+ storage space. The partially remaining oxygenous groups can also contribute to the capacity by redox reaction. As anode material for SIBs, the optimized electrode delivers high reversible capacity, high rate capability (365 and 131 mAh g?1 at 0.1 and 10 A g?1, respectively), and good cycling performance (163 mAh g?1 after 3000 cycles at a current density of 2 A g?1), which is among the best reported performances for carbon‐based SIB anodes.  相似文献

A composite electrode composed of reduced graphene oxide‐graphite felt (rGO‐GF) with excellent electrocatalytic redox reversibility toward V2+/V3+ and VO2+/VO2+ redox couples in vanadium batteries was fabricated by a facile hydrothermal method. Compared with the pristine graphite felt (GF) electrode, the rGO‐GF composite electrode possesses abundant oxygen functional groups, high electron conductivity, and outstanding stability. Its corresponding energy efficiency and discharge capacity are significantly increased by 20% and 300%, respectively, at a high current density of 150 mA cm?2. Moreover, a discharge capacity of 20 A h L?1 is obtained with a higher voltage efficiency (74.5%) and energy efficiency (72.0%), even at a large current density of 200 mA cm?2. The prepared rGO‐GF composite electrode holds great promise as a high‐performance electrode for vanadium redox flow battery (VRFB).  相似文献

Poor quality and insufficient productivity are two main obstacles for the practical application of graphene in electrochemical energy storage. Here, high‐quality crumpled graphene microflower (GmF) for high‐performance electrodes is designed. The GmF possesses four advantages simultaneously: highly crystallized defect‐free graphene layers, low stacking degree, sub‐millimeter continuous surface, and large productivity with low cost. When utilized as carbon host for sulfur cathode, the GmF‐sulfur hybrid delivers decent areal capacities of 5.2 mAh cm?2 at 0.1 C and 3.8 mAh cm?2 at 0.5 C. When utilized as cathode of Al‐ion battery, the GmF affords a high capacity of 100 mAh g?1 with 100% capacity retention after 5000 cycles and excellent rate capability from 0.1 to 20 A g?1. This facile and large‐scale producible GmF represents a meaningful high‐quality graphene powder for practical energy storage technology. Meanwhile, this unique high‐quality graphene design provides an effective route to improve electrochemical properties of graphene‐based electrodes.  相似文献

Reduced graphene oxides (rGO) are synthesized via reduction of GO with reducing agents as a hole‐extraction layer for high‐performance inverted planar heterojunction perovskite solar cells. The best efficiencies of power conversion (PCE) of these rGO cells exceed 16%, much greater than those made of GO and poly(3,4‐ethenedioxythiophene):poly(styrenesulfonate) films. A flexible rGO device shows PCE 13.8% and maintains 70% of its initial performance over 150 bending cycles. It is found that the hole‐extraction period is much smaller for the GO/methylammonium lead‐iodide perovskite (PSK) film than for the other rGO/PSK films, which contradicts their device performances. Photoluminescence and transient photoelectric decays are measured and control experiments are performed to prove that the reduction of the oxygen‐containing groups in GO significantly decreases the ability of hole extraction from PSK to rGO and also retards the charge recombination at the rGO/PSK interface. When the hole injection from PSK to GO occurs rapidly, hole propagation from GO to the indium‐doped tin oxide (ITO) substrate becomes a bottleneck to overcome, which leads to a rapid charge recombination that decreases the performance of the GO device relative to the rGO device.  相似文献

In this work, an ether‐based electrolyte is adopted instead of conventional ester‐based electrolyte for an Sb2O3‐based anode and its enhancement mechanism is unveiled for K‐ion storage. The anode is fabricated by anchoring Sb2O3 onto reduced graphene oxide (Sb2O3‐RGO) and it exhibits better electrochemical performance using an ether‐based electrolyte than that using a conventional ester‐based electrolyte. By optimizing the concentration of the electrolyte, the Sb2O3‐RGO composite delivers a reversible specific capacity of 309 mAh g?1 after 100 cycles at 100 mA g?1. A high specific capacity of 201 mAh g?1 still remains after 3300 cycles (111 days) at 500 mA g?1 with almost no decay, exhibiting a longer cycle life compared with other metallic oxides. In order to further reveal the intrinsic mechanism, the energy changes for K atom migrating from surface into the sublayer of Sb2O3 are explored by density functional theory calculations. According to the result, the battery using the ether‐based electrolyte exhibits a lower energy change and migration barrier than those using other electrolytes for K‐ion, which is helpful to improve the K‐ion storage performance. It is believed that the work can provide deep understanding and new insight to enhance electrochemical performance using ether‐based electrolytes for KIBs.  相似文献
