Eating quality is of paramount importance to rice (Oryza sativa L.) consumers and soft rice with low amylose content has become popular in China. This study was conducted to evaluate the performance of soft rice grown in the early season (ES) dominated by non-soft rice. Field experiments were conducted in Yongan and Santang, Hunan Province, China from 2016-2018. Results showed that grain amylose content in soft rice cultivars was consistently lower in the ES compared to the late season (LS). The lower grain amylose content in the ES compared to the LS was partly attributed to higher average daily mean temperature during grain filling. No significant relationship was observed between grain yield and seed amylose content in ES rice. Soft rice cultivars produced a similar average grain yield to non-soft rice cultivars in the ES. These results encourage breeders to develop more ES rice cultivars with soft texture to meet the consumer demand for this type of rice.  相似文献

The possible relationship between the levels of ethylene and 1-aminocylopropane-1-carboxylic acid (ACC) in the grains and the quality of rice (Oryza sativa L.) were investigated by using 12 rice cultivars. The results showed that both the ethylene evolution rate and ACC content in grains during the grain filling period correlated negatively with head rice production and positively with chalky kernels, chalky size, and chalkiness. The levels of ethylene and ACC were not significantly correlated with alkali spreading value and amylose content. Application of ethephon, an ethylene-releasing agent, or ACC to panicles at the early grain filling stage significantly reduced the rates of brown rice, milled rice, and head rice, and significantly increased the percentage of chalky kernels, chalky size, and chalkiness. Application of aminoethoxyvinylglycine, an inhibitor of ACC synthase, had the opposite effect. Chalkiness appears to be a senescence related phenomenon which is stimulated by ethylene. The results suggest that ethylene and ACC in grains play an important role in regulating rice quality, and that grain appearance and milling quality would be improved though the reduction of ethylene and ACC in grains during grain filling.  相似文献

Heat stress severely reduces rice yield and quality; however, differences between the superior, early-flowering and inferior, later-flowering spikelets of indica rice in response to high-temperature stress during grain filling remain unclear. This study investigated the effects of high temperature (HT, 33.6/20.7 °C day/night) on growth, endosperm structure, and hormone and polyamine content of superior and inferior spikelets of heat-sensitive (SG-1) and heat-tolerant (HHZ) indica cultivars. The HT decreased fertilization rate, caused earlier grain filling, and reduced duration of grain filling, thus resulting in decreased grain mass and a poor endosperm structure. In addition, soluble sugar and sucrose content increased, and starch synthesis decreased by HT at the early stage of grain filling. The HT increased polyamine [spermidine (Spd) and spermine (Spm)] and abscisic acid (ABA) content, but reduced zeatin (Z) + zeatin riboside (ZR) and indole-3-acetic acid (IAA) content in the grains. Such effects were more apparent in the inferior than superior spikelets; however, the inferior spikelets of SG-1 were more affected than those of HHZ. At the middle grain filling stage, HT produced little difference between the two cultivars. Our results suggest that the poor development of inferior spikelets of SG-1 under the HT could be attributed, at least in part, to the changed content and ratios of free polyamines [putrescine (Put), Spd, and Spm] and phytohormones (Z+ZR, IAA, and ABA) and the conversion efficiency of sucrose into starch.  相似文献

采用表型主成分及聚类分析法,对76个云南高原粳稻的11个品质性状进行了分析。结果表明,(1)直链淀粉含量的平均值达食用稻品种品质1级标准,糙米率、透明度、碱消值和胶稠度达2级标准,精米率达3级标准,其余品质性状的平均值均在3级以下。品种间变异最小的品质性状是糙米率和碱消值,变异最大的是垩白度,其次是垩白粒率。(2)稻米品质性状间存在复杂的相关关系。(3)在选出的6个影响云南稻米品质的主因子中,精米率、垩白粒率和垩白度因子对稻米品质的累积贡献率为49.6%。(4)76个云南粳稻聚为4类,其中第一类包括52个品种,表明遗传距离近,遗传基础狭窄。在今后的云南粳稻品质育种中,应降低垩白粒率和垩白度,提高精米率和整精米率,同时拓宽遗传基础。  相似文献

以2个不同直链淀粉含量的水稻品种为材料,研究了生育前期(插秧至幼穗分化期)遮光对水稻后期功能叶生长及稻米品质的影响。结果表明,前期遮光处理后,水稻剑叶面积明显增大,功能叶的碳、氮代谢水平提高;2个品种的籽粒直链淀粉积累过程受到的影响不同,而蛋白质积累受到的影响均一致(即百分含量下降幅度增大);糙米率有所降低,但未达到显著水平;精米率和垩白率极显著下降;整精米率和直链淀粉含量显著或极显著升高;粒长、粒宽和蛋白质含量无显著性变化,但蛋白质含量表现为下降趋势;2个品种间存在着差异。  相似文献

Grain filling is a crucial process that affects yield in rice (Oryza sativa L.). Auxin biosynthesis and signaling are closely related to rice yield; therefore, it is important to understand the effects of auxin biosynthesis on rice grain filling to improve crop yield. In this study, we used physiological and molecular strategies to identify the roles of auxin in rice grain filling. Exogenous application of auxin (IAA) or auxin analogues (2, 4-D) to young spikelets and flag leaves improved the seed-setting rate and yield per spike. Furthermore, real-time quantitative PCR assays confirmed that nine members of the OsYUCCA family of auxin biosynthetic genes were upregulated during grain filling, implication that auxin biosynthesis plays a major role in grain development. The specific expression of either Arabidopsis AtYUCCA1 or OsYUCCA2 in the endosperm or leaves resulted in increased expression of OsIAA genes and auxin content of seeds, as well as increased grain filling and seed-setting rate. This result establishes that the auxin content in grains and leaves is important for grain development. Our findings further highlight the potential applications for improving rice yield by elevating targeted gene expression in specific tissues.  相似文献

为探明不同水深处理对优质稻米的影响,研究了湿润、浅水、深水3种灌溉方式对优质粳稻(圣稻14、圣稻2572、圣稻18)籽粒外观、稻米直链淀粉、蛋白质含量及淀粉RVA谱的影响,分析了稻米品质与理化指标之间的关系.结果表明: 浅水灌溉下籽粒面积、周长、粒长、稻米蛋白质含量显著高于其他灌溉方式,垩白率和垩白度的表现相反;RVA谱的最高黏度和热浆黏度值以湿润灌溉最高,深水灌溉最低,最终黏度值以深水灌溉最低;不同品种RVA谱的崩解值、消减值、回复值及稻米直链淀粉含量对3种灌溉方式的响应存在明显的基因型差异.圣稻14以湿润灌溉的食味品质最好,圣稻18则以深水灌溉最好.相关分析表明,稻米RVA谱特征值与稻米外观指标及蛋白质含量之间存在显著的相关性.回归与通径分析表明,粒型是影响崩解值与消减值的主要因子,而稻米蛋白质与直链淀粉含量是影响回复值的主要因子.  相似文献

Climate conditions is an important factor affected the fragrant rice growth and development. In order to study the effects of different planting seasons on fragrant rice performance in South China, present study was conducted with three planting seasons (early season (April to July), middle season (June to September) and late season (August to November)) and three fragrant rice cultivars, ‘Basmati-385’, ‘Meixiangzhan-2’ and ‘Xiangyaxiangzhan’. The results showed that the highest grain yield and grain 2-acetyl-1-pyrroline (2-AP, key component of fragrant rice aroma) content were both recorded in late season treatment while the fragrant rice in middle season treatment produced the lowest grain yield, grain filling percentage, 1000-grain weight and gain 2-AP content. The highest contents of precursors (proline, pyrroline-5-carboxylic acid and 1-pyrroline) which related to 2-AP biosynthesis were recorded in late season treatment compared with early season treatment and middle season treatment. The highest activities of enzymes (proline dehydrogenase, pyrroline-5-carboxylic acid synthetase and ornithine transaminase) which involved in 2-AP biosynthesis were also observed in late season treatment. Moreover, the fragrant rice cultivars in late season possessed the lowest chalk rice rate, chalkiness as well as the highest brown rice rate, head rice and protein content. Thus, the optimal season for fragrant rice production in South China is the late season.  相似文献

粳稻穗角与稻米品质的相关性及稻米品质遗传分析   总被引:5,自引:1,他引:4  
测定了粳稻直立穗品种丙8979与弯曲穗品种C堡杂交组合的P1、P2及其重组自交系349个株系的穗角和10个稻米品质性状, 分析了穗角与稻米品质性状之间的相关性, 并运用主基因+多基因混合遗传模型, 对稻米品质10个性状进行了遗传分析。结果表明,穗角与糙米率、整精米率、垩白粒率、垩白度、糊化温度、胶稠度和直链淀粉含量均无显著相关; 与精米率呈显著正相关(r=0.124*); 与粒长和长宽比均呈极显著正相关(相关系数分别为0.470**和0.241**)。糙米率、精米率和直链淀粉含量均受2对主基因+多基因控制, 2对主基因具有累加作用和加性×加性的上位性作用; 整精米率、粒长、长宽比和胶稠度受2对加性-上位性主基因+多基因控制;垩白粒率、垩白度和糊化温度均受3对加性-上位性主基因+多基因控制。糙米率、精米率、整精米率、垩白粒率、垩白度和糊化温度6个品质性状以主基因遗传为主,粒长、长宽比、胶稠度和直链淀粉含量4个性状以多基因遗传为主。  相似文献

High amylose content (AC) in rice endosperm is correlated with poor grain quality, particularly in indica hybrid rice. We have generated several homozygous transgenic parent lines of indica hybrid rice carrying an antisense Waxy (Wx) gene and demonstrated that the AC in seeds of these lines decreased dramatically. Two transgenic maintainer lines (L25B and L18B), derived from one of the key maintainer parents of an indica hybrid rice in China, Long-te-fu B (LTF-B), were selected and the antisense Wx gene was subsequently introgressed into the male-sterile counterpart, LTF-A, with the aim to generate improved indica hybrids. The indica hybrids derived from the selected transgenic male-sterile lines and restorer lines were tested for quality and agronomic performance under normal field conditions. Our results demonstrated that the reduction of AC in the homozygous transgenic maintainer lines stably passed down in five successive generations and the improved quality was also found in their relevant transgenic hybrids produced. The other two key characters of rice cooking and eating quality, the gel consistence (GC) and gelatinization temperature (GT), were also improved in the grains of both the transgenic maintainer lines and their relevant hybrids. In addition, no change was observed for most of the agronomic characters of the transgenic maintainer lines and the relevant transgenic hybrids. Although the grain weight of the transgenic line was reduced, the grain yield of the homozygous transgenic parent lines and the transgenic hybrids was similar when compared with that of the wild-type controls. These results suggest that transgenic approaches are an effective way to obtain rice lines with both improved qualities and high yield, especially for indica hybrid rice.  相似文献

利用自然条件下的早、晚季种植作为温度处理,选择米质低、中、优等级的6个水稻品种(组合)作为供试材料,研究了早、晚季种植下的稻米品质、淀粉分支酶活性变化,以及温度处理间的差异.结果表明,在籽粒灌浆初期,高温环境下灌浆充实的籽粒,其稻米的垩白增加、透明度变差、整精米率下降,对出糙率及精米率没有明显影响.与早季种植的稻米相比,晚季种植稻米的胶稠度、整精米率、透明度增加.早、晚季种植对稻米直链淀粉含量、蛋白质含量等没有显著影响.剪叶限源处理显著降低稻米质量,疏粒减库处理显著提高稻米品质.  相似文献

以桂华占、八桂香为材料,在干湿交替灌溉、亏缺灌溉、淹水灌溉3种水分条件下,研究优质稻花后植株碳氮流转与籽粒生长及品质的相关性。结果表明:不同水分管理下,桂华占和八桂香花后碳氮流转与籽粒的生长间存在密切相关。主要表现在:(1)茎鞘和叶片干物质转运对籽粒干物质积累的贡献率为16.86%~25.68%,花后茎叶干物质运转速度和运转率与籽粒起始灌浆势呈显著甚至极显著正相关;籽粒最大灌浆速率、活跃灌浆期、持续灌浆时间与叶片干物质运转速度和运转率呈极显著正相关,与茎鞘干物质运转速度和运转率呈极显著负相关;(2)茎鞘碳同化物转运对籽粒的产量和淀粉产量的贡献率则为干湿交替灌溉>亏缺灌溉>淹水灌溉;但叶片碳同化物转运对籽粒的产量和淀粉产量的贡献率则为淹水灌溉>亏缺灌溉>干湿交替灌溉;茎叶可溶性糖积累量的减少和籽粒直链淀粉含量和积累量增加是同步的,且茎叶可溶性糖积累量快速递减期(花后3~12d)与直链淀粉含量和积累量快速递增期(花后6~12d)同步;(3)茎鞘和叶片氮素转运对籽粒氮素积累的贡献率为44.05%~117.66%,叶片总氮转运对籽粒氮素积累的贡献率大于茎鞘,茎鞘和叶片氮同化物对籽粒氮素的贡献率以淹水灌溉处理的最大,亏缺灌溉处理的次之,干湿交替灌溉处理的最小。  相似文献

High temperature significantly alters the amylose content of rice, resulting in mature grains with poor eating quality. However, only few genes and/or quantitative trait loci involved in this process have been isolated and the molecular mechanisms of this effect remain unclear. Here, we describe a floral organ identity gene, OsMADS7, involved in stabilizing rice amylose content at high temperature. OsMADS7 is greatly induced by high temperature at the early filling stage. Constitutive suppression of OsMADS7 stabilizes amylose content under high temperature stress but results in low spikelet fertility. However, rice plants with both stable amylose content at high temperature and normal spikelet fertility can be obtained by specifically suppressing OsMADS7 in endosperm. GBSSI is the major enzyme responsible for amylose biosynthesis. A low filling rate and high expression of GBSSI were detected in OsMADS7 RNAi plants at high temperature, which may be correlated with stabilized amylose content in these transgenic seeds under high temperature. Thus, specific suppression of OsMADS7 in endosperm could improve the stability of rice amylose content at high temperature, and such transgenic materials may be a valuable genetic resource for breeding rice with elite thermal resilience.  相似文献

采用在不同积温区布置田间试验的方法,比较研究了黑龙江省5个水稻主栽品种产量和品质随积温的变化.结果表明: 水稻产量随积温呈二次曲线变化,其相关程度因水稻品种而异;水稻穗数、穗粒数与积温呈极显著二次曲线关系,而千粒重与积温之间相关关系不显著;水稻籽实空瘪率从适宜积温区到低积温区显著增加,而从适宜积温区到高积温区变化不明显;水稻垩白率、整精米率与积温均呈极显著二次曲线关系,即垩白率和整精米率在适宜积温区分别有最小值和最大值存在;稻米蛋白质、直链淀粉含量和食味随积温变化不明显.根据对温度敏感程度的不同,可将水稻品种划分为温敏型、中间型、温钝型3类,其适宜栽培积温带宽度和允许栽培积温带宽度分别为300 ℃和420 ℃、360 ℃和440 ℃、380 ℃和520 ℃.根据积温因地制宜地选种水稻品种对于提高水稻产量、改善稻米品质十分重要.  相似文献

Paclobutrazol is a well-known plant growth regulator. However, the application of paclobutrazol in fragrant rice production has not been reported. The present study conducted a field experiment with two cropping seasons and three fragrant rice cultivars to investigate the effects of paclobutrazol application on yield formation, grain quality, 2-acetyl-1-pyrroline (2-AP, key component of fragrant rice aroma) biosynthesis, and photosynthesis of fragrant rice. At the initial heading stage, paclobutrazol solutions at 0 (control), 30, 60, 100, and 120 mg L?1 were foliar applied to fragrant rice plants, respectively. Compared with control, paclobutrazol treatments significantly (P?<?0.05) increased grain yield and seed-setting rate of fragrant rice cultivars by 6.77–22.82% and 5.09–25.66%, respectively. Increased contents of photosynthetic pigments (chlorophyll a, chlorophyll b, and carotenoid) and the improved net photosynthetic rate at the grain-filling stage were observed due to paclobutrazol treatments. The paclobutrazol application increased head rice rate and grain 2-AP content by 3.94–8.94% and 6.47–18.80%, respectively. Lower chalky rice rate and chalkiness were recorded in paclobutrazol treatment than in control. Moreover, foliar application of paclobutrazol increased proline and Δ1-pyrroline contents in fragrant rice by 7.90–32.12% and 13.21–34.90%. Overall, foliar application of paclobutrazol could enhance productivity, improve grain quality, and increase the 2-AP content of fragrant rice, and 100–120 mg L?1 was considered the suggested concentration of paclobutrazol application in fragrant rice production.

选用强筋小麦品种济麦20和弱筋小麦品种山农1391,在大田试验条件下,分别于籽粒灌浆前期(花后6—9 d)、中期(花后16—19 d)和后期(花后26—29 d)对小麦进行弱光照处理,研究了籽粒产量、蛋白质组分及加工品质的变化。灌浆期弱光显著降低小麦籽粒产量,灌浆中期对济麦20和灌浆后期对山农1391的产量降幅最大。弱光处理后,籽粒氮素积累量及氮素收获指数减少。但弱光使籽粒蛋白质含量显著升高,其中灌浆中期弱光升幅最大,原因可能是由于其粒重降低造成的。弱光对可溶性谷蛋白无显著影响,但增加不溶性谷蛋白含量,使谷蛋白聚合指数显著升高,面团形成时间和稳定时间亦升高,籽粒灌浆中、后期弱光对上述指标的影响较前期大。灌浆期短暂的弱光照对改善强筋小麦粉质仪参数有利,但使弱筋小麦变劣;并均伴随籽粒产量的显著降低这一不利影响。  相似文献

High temperature (HT) during the grain developing stage causes deleterious effects on rice quality resulting in mature grains with a chalky appearance. Phospholipase D (PLD) plays an important role in plants, including responses to environmental stresses. OsPLDα1, α3 and β2-knockdown (KD) plants showed decreased production of chalky grains at HT. HT ripening increased H2O2 accumulated in the developing grains. However, the increase was canceled by the knockdown of OsPLDβ2. Expression levels of OsCATA which is one of three rice catalase genes, in developing grains of OsPLDβ2-KD plants at 10 DAF were increased compared with that in vector-controls in HT growth conditions. Overexpression of OsCATA markedly suppressed the production of chalky grains in HT growth conditions. These results suggested that OsPLDβ2 functions as a negative regulator of the induction of OsCATA and is involved in the production of chalky grains in HT growth conditions.  相似文献

选用强筋小麦品种济麦20、烟农19、藁麦8901做试验材料,设置不同氮肥基追比例和籽粒灌浆中后期高温胁迫处理,研究了不同氮肥基追比例对高温胁迫条件下小麦籽粒产量和品质的影响.研究结果表明,追氮比例由50%增加到70%,3个品种的千粒重、籽粒产量、粗蛋白含量、湿面筋含量、醇溶蛋白含量、谷蛋白含量、HMW-GS含量、LMW-GS含量、HMW-GS/LMW-GS比值显著提高.济麦20和烟农19的谷蛋白大聚合体含量、谷蛋白大聚合体体积加权平均粒径和表面积加权平均粒径因追氮比例提高而升高, 藁麦8901则无显著变化.济麦20和烟农19的面团形成时间、面团稳定时间因追氮比例提高而延长, 藁麦8901基本不受影响.追氮比例由50%增加到70%,3个品种的籽粒支链淀粉/直链淀粉比值显著降低,淀粉糊化高峰黏度、低谷黏度、稀懈值、最终黏度和反弹值相应降低.总之,提高氮肥追施比例可在一定程度上缓解灌浆期高温胁迫对小麦粒重和蛋白质质量的不利影响,但对淀粉质量产生负面效应,且品种间存在差异.  相似文献
