Under study were the morphofunctional features of adrenal glands of 1, 10, 20, 30 and 40-day-old rats born by females with experimental hypothyrosis obtained by bilateral subtotal parathyroidectomy and blocade of the gland functioning by mercazolil (3 mkg/kg). The experimental treatment preceded pregnancy. The antithyroid drug was injected during pregnancy and lactation. The posterity of experimental animals was established to have a decreased need in oxygen as compared with controls. Their adrenal glands were of less weight (especially in off-springs of parathryodidectomized rats in the neonatal period). There are a number of morphometrical and histochemical signs suggesting the suppression of the functioning of the cortical and medullary substance, including the period of adaptation of the organism to the extrauterine life.  相似文献

Karyometric and electron microscopic investigation has been performed in the adenohypophyseal secretory cells, in the cortex and medulla of the adrenal glands in mature (6 months) and ageing (25-26 months) white male rats. The diameter of the corticotropic cell nuclei of the adenohypophysis significantly increases with age. In the secretory cells of the adrenal cortex and medulla no important changes in their parameters are revealed. With age destructive changes of the ultrastructures are manifested variously in different types of the secretory cells in the endocrinic glands studied. In the corticotropic, somatotropic, thyreotropic cells of the adenohypophysis, in spongiocytes of the adrenal cortex, compensatory ultrastructural rearrangements develop; they are aimed to preserve functional activity of the cells mentioned. No age changes are revealed in ultrastructure of chromaffin cells of the adrenal medulla.  相似文献

Using the model of experimental colibacillosis in mice morphological, immunomorphological and morphometrical studies of duodenum 1 to 24 hours after inoculation were performed. Typical dynamics of cellular composition in the intestinal wall, accompanied with increased lymphoplasmacellular infiltration, and dystrophic changes in cells of submucosal and intermuscular neuroplexuses were found. The data obtained testify, that the infectious process at the acute state of experimental colibacillosis has an immune character (immediate hypersensitivity of local type), characterised by increasing in immunoglobulin-containing cells and including in this process of mast and endocrine cells.  相似文献

The endocrine status of the organism estimated by the cortisol, insulin and triiodothyronine content of blood considerably changes during radiation sickness. The most pronounced changes in the endocrine status occur during the primary response and at the height of radiation sickness. The RBE coefficient of neutrons (0.85 MeV) was 1.87 in comparison with that of electron radiation (8 MeV) as determined by the death rate of guinea pigs with the cerebral form of radiation sickness. LD50/1.5 amounted to 43.2 and 80.7 Gy. The dynamics of clinical symptoms at the height of the disease is discussed.  相似文献

Ultrastructural peculiarities of the cortical and medullary substance of the adrenals have been studied in mature (8-month-old) and old (26-month-old) intact white male rats and in rats of the same age groups in 3 h after electrical stimulation of the hypothalamic ventromedial nuclei. By means of certain biochemical methods contents of hormones (corticosterone, adrenaline and noradrenaline) have been estimated, as well as that of cholesterin and ascorbic acid in blood and adrenal tissues. After the hypothalamus is stimulated in the mature rats, certain peculiarities in the adrenals reactivity are revealed; they demonstrate positive ultrastructural and functional correlation of secretory cells in the cortex and medulla and are characterized with hypertrophy of the nuclei, increased amount of polyribosomes, hypertrophied Golgi complex and canaliculi of the endoplasmic reticulum and increased contents of corticosteroids and catecholamines in blood. In the old rats after stimulation of the hypothalamus, certain unequal ultrastructural and functional peculiarities are revealed. They demonstrate both disturbance of the hypothalamic regulation of the adrenal function at ageing and decreased adaptive possibilities of the adrenal secretory cells at the subcellular level.  相似文献

Several peculiarities in manifestations of cerebral form of radiation sickness have been revealed at a fractionated double irradiation with equal and unequal doses per fraction and different intervals between the fractions. A reliable increase in average lifespan of rats irradiated with (100 + 100 Gy) equal doses at 10 and 60 min intervals between two fractions compared to the single radiation exposure to 200 Gy has been obtained. Lifespan of rats irradiated with a total dose greater than 200 Gy in most cases of double exposures with 10 min interval was reliably less than that for animals after a single exposure. The influence of the first dose on the reduction of animal average lifespan increased with fraction dose increasing from 150 to 300 Gy and was most pronounced at the total exposure dose of 400 Gy. Reaction of rats on the repeated irradiation was significantly weakened in comparison with the reaction on the first exposure. At a study of capacitation the interval of 30 min appeared to be more favorable compared to 10 min interval. Importance of a dose value in the first fraction has been demonstrated: the higher this value the worse the capacity of the rats 3 hours after the repeated exposure.  相似文献

Light and electron microscopy were applied to the study in sexually mature rats and mice of the areas of the duodenum, jejunum and the ileum 3-4 days after the irradiation in doses of 1000, 1500, 7000 and 15 000 R. Paraffine mucosal sections of the small intestine showed denuding of the stroma of individual villi. However, a study of the thin and semithin epon sections by light microscopy and of the ultrathin ones--by electron microscopy showed the villi to be always covered with enterocytes, whose cytoplasm was overloaded with lipid droplets and almost structureless. Thus, during the enteric form of acute radiation sickness there was no vital denuding of the villi, and the presence of such on paraffine sections served as the result of inadequate treatment of the material.  相似文献

Morpho-functional changes and synthesis of carbohydrate compounds in the mucous membrane of the rat and cat trachea and bronchi have been studied 2, 4, 7, 14 and 24 days after a single and twice administration of gamma-globulin into the respiratory tract and after repeated intrapleural and intramuscular administration following sensibilization with a complete Freund's adjuvant. Dynamic of the changes observed depends, to a great extent, on the mode and multiplicity of administration of the adjuvant. When gamma-globulin is administered into the respiratory tract or intrapleurally, a more active incorporation of 3H-glucose and 35S-sodium sulfate into chondroitinsulphate A, C, sialic acids and glycogen, which are synthesized by cells of the tracheobronchial system glands, occurs. In 14-24 days after gamma-globulin has been administered by any mode, sulfated glycosamineoglycans (of chondroitinsulfate B and heparin type), as well as proteoglycans and sialic acids resistive to treatment with sialidase are accumulating in discharge from the glands. The accumulation of the sulfated glycosamin sulfates is accompanied with an increased level of serum antibodies specific for the administered antigen.  相似文献
