为探究4类,10种广泛使用的农药(苯氧羧酸类,芳香酸类,取代脲类和烟碱类)与3种氧化剂(次氯酸钠,高锰酸钾和高铁酸钾)的反应活性,本研究在温度(25±2)℃、pH值为8的条件下,分析10种农药分别与3种氧化剂NaClO、KMnO4、K2Fe O4在不同浓度下的反应活性,采用HPLC检测法,对比降解效能,探究氧化剂性质与有机物结构导致的反应活性的差异。实验结果表明,不同种类农药的结构性质对反应活性有重要影响,3种氧化剂的氧化降解能力有明显差异。苯氧羧酸类和芳香酸类农药结构较简单,并含有稳定的苯环或吡啶环结构,氧化降解较困难。取代脲类和烟碱类农药结构较复杂,氧化剂可攻击其不饱和官能团,反应活性较高。NaClO对取代脲类农药的降解率明显优于其他2种氧化剂,3种氧化剂对烟碱类农药的氧化降解效果依次为NaClO>KMn O4>K2Fe O4。研究多种农药与次氯酸钠、高锰酸钾和高铁酸钾的反应活性对降解去除水体中的农药残留对水环境的治理具有重要意义。  相似文献

论文就有机磷农药对藻类生长的影响、毒性机理以及对浮游植物群落结构的影响进行综述。相对于水生甲壳类和鱼类,有机磷农药对藻类毒性较低,EC50一般高于1mg/L,对藻类生长的影响大致呈现低浓度促进、高浓度抑制的趋势,有机磷农药之间及其与其它化合物之间具有联合毒性作用。有机磷农药对藻细胞酶活性具有一定影响,而对光合作用的影响也是有机磷农药对藻类毒性效应的重要致毒机制。浮游植物对有机磷农药敏感性差异以及施药引起的浮游动物对藻类的选择性摄食,可能会导致水生态系统中浮游植物群落结构的变化。  相似文献

In the experiment performed on 175 white male rats by means of a complex of morphological, biochemical and biomechanical methods peculiarities of structure, growth, outline formation and mineralization of the skeletal bones have been investigated under a toxic lesion of the organism with pesticides (chlorophose and keltan) and at a simultaneous administration of antioxidants of various groups (tocopherol, ionol, sodium selenit). Osteotoxic effect of the pesticides, manifested as an inhibition of bone growth, as a disbalance of mineral saturation and their composition, as a decrease in indices of firmness is leveled by means of therapeutic doses of the antioxidants. The stabilizing effect of the antioxidant applied correlates to the manifestation of the pesticides osteotoxic effect, to the ability of their cumulation in the organism and is directly connected with the supposed mechanism of damaging effect to the organism and/or cell. The expressiveness of the toxic effect of the chemical poison, in its turn, is defined not only by the dose, mechanism and duration of the effect, but by age peculiarities of the organism and by functional state of its reactivity. When the poisons are applied for a long time, in order to level their osteotoxic effect, a multiple increase of therapeutic doses of the antioxidants and a combined potentiation of their effect are necessary.  相似文献

The objective of this study was to assess pesticide residues in tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, strawberries, and potatoes collected from local markets in Ismailia, Egypt, and to assess dietary intake and health risk implications of pesticide residues through food consumption. Vegetable selection was based on their popularity and consumption. Selection of pesticides was based on their impact on humans, and on their heavy use. The majority of the analyzed samples contained detectable levels of pesticides. Residues of some organophosphorus pesticides, including malathion, ethion, and profenofos and some pyrethroid pesticides such as fenpropathrin and cypermethrin were found in some samples at concentration equal to or exceeding their European Union's maximum residue limits (EU-MRLs). The fungicide bupirimate detected in potato samples exceeded the EU-MRL by 1500%. Phentohate and profenofos were the most frequently detected pesticides in 30 and 27% of analyzed samples, respectively. Data were used to estimate the potential health risks associated with exposure to these pesticides by ingestion of food. Estimated daily intakes (EDIs) of pesticides ranged from 0.03% to 40% of the acceptable daily intakes (ADIs), depending on pesticide concentration and vegetable consumption. Overall, the EDIs of the different pesticides from vegetable consumption are not considered a public health problem.  相似文献

Lentic freshwater systems including those inhabited by aquatic stages of mosquitoes derive most of their carbon inputs from terrestrial organic matter mainly leaf litter. The leaf litter is colonized by microbial communities that provide the resource base for mosquito larvae. While the microbial biomass associated with different leaf species in container aquatic habitats is well documented, the taxonomic composition of these microbes and their response to common environmental stressors is poorly understood. We used indoor aquatic microcosms to determine the abundances of major taxonomic groups of bacteria in leaf litters from seven plant species and their responses to low concentrations of four pesticides with different modes of action on the target organisms; permethrin, malathion, atrazine and glyphosate. We tested the hypotheses that leaf species support different quantities of major taxonomic groups of bacteria and that exposure to pesticides at environmentally relevant concentrations alters bacterial abundance and community structure in mosquito larval habitats. We found support for both hypotheses suggesting that leaf litter identity and chemical contamination may alter the quality and quantity of mosquito food base (microbial communities) in larval habitats. The effect of pesticides on microbial communities varied significantly among leaf types, suggesting that the impact of pesticides on natural microbial communities may be highly complex and difficult to predict. Collectively, these findings demonstrate the potential for detritus composition within mosquito larval habitats and exposure to pesticides to influence the quality of mosquito larval habitats.  相似文献

The use of ecological models to assess the effects of pesticides on the structure and function of aquatic ecosystems is of growing interest. Of utmost concern is assessment of pesticides that have the potential to biodegrade into metabolites that are as toxic as the parent pesticide. In this work, a mathematical model to predict and evaluate the effect of two pesticides on the population of aquatic biospecies where both pesticides are bio-available in water and sediments with one of the pesticides capable of biodegrading into the other but not vice versa is formulated and analyzed. Conditions for nonlinear stability, instability and Hopf-bifurcation are obtained. The model undergoes a Hopf-bifurcation when the rate of discharge of pesticides crosses a critical value, so that the population of the aquatic species follows an oscillatory pattern. Four hypotheses involving the concentration of the pesticides and the population of the aquatic species where qualitatively investigated: the aquatic species will completely die out with time, the population of the aquatic biospecies will remain under certain conditions, the pesticide will continually remain in water and there will be a periodic variation in the population of the aquatic species over time. Results also indicate that the biodegradation potential of one of the pesticides had significant effect on the population dynamics of the aquatic species.  相似文献

农药类持久性有机污染物(POPs)如DDT和HCH在我国2 0世纪5 0年代到80年代曾广泛使用,在停止使用2 0 a后,在土壤中仍然可以检测到DDT和HCH的残留。利用BIOL OG微平板研究土壤微生物群落功能多样性,意在反映有机氯杀虫剂类POPs对土壤微生物群落多样性的影响。结果表明,加了HCH后土壤微生物群落的颜色平均变化值(AWCD)的变化速度和最终能达到的AWCD值要高于空白土壤,并且随着农药浓度的加大,AWCD值的变化速率也越来越快,最终能达到的最大值也呈比例增大。加了DDT后的土壤与空白土壤的AWCD变化速度和程度相差不大。方差分析结果表明:空白土壤、HCH0 .5mg/kg、HCH1.5 mg/kg各处理间土壤的AWCD值有显著性差异(p<0 .0 1) ,空白土壤、DDT0 .5 m g/kg、DDT1.5 m g/kg各处理间土壤的AWCD值达不到显著性差异的水平(p>0 .0 5 ) ,表层土壤的AWCD值要高于第2层土壤(p<0 .0 1)。从多样性指数的变化来看,当加入到土壤中的DDT和HCH含量稍低时,微生物会利用农药为碳源进行分解作用,从而刺激了微生物的生长,这时表现出丰富度、均匀性和多样性都呈增长趋势。但当农药的浓度进一步加大时,反而会抑制某些种的微生物生长,另外一些种则对加入到土壤中的农药有一定的耐受性,从而表现出群落的均匀性下降,而丰富度升高。在相同施用浓  相似文献

人工湿地对农业径流污染物去除效果显著,已成为控制农业径流污染的有效措施.本文结合国内外研究,介绍了当前水体农药污染的现状;从物理、化学及生物角度阐述了人工湿地对农药的去除机理和关键过程;归纳总结了人工湿地对农药的去除效率,指出人工湿地对农药的去除效率随农药类型的不同而差异较大:农药的平均去除率,按农药用途分为杀虫剂>杀菌剂>除草剂,按农药化学结构分为拟除虫菊酯类>有机磷类>三唑类>酰胺类>三嗪类>脲类;综合考虑,潜流人工湿地在农药去除方面的效果优于表面流人工湿地.在此基础上分析了农药理化性质、人工湿地工艺类型及运行参数、进水中农药浓度、湿地植物等因素对农药在人工湿地中去除的影响.最后指出了当前研究中存在的问题,并提出了研究展望.  相似文献

The effects of synthetic pesticides on the soil microbial community have been thoroughly investigated in the past mostly by culture-dependent methods and only few recent studies have used culture-independent approaches for this purpose. However, it should be noted that most of these studies have been conducted in microcosms where the soil microbial community is exposed to unrealistic concentrations of the pesticides, providing an unrealistic exposure scheme for soil microorganism. On the other hand, little is known regarding the potential impact of botanical pesticides on the soil microbial community. Therefore, a laboratory study and a field study were conducted to investigate the effects of synthetic (metham sodium [MS], sodium tetrathiocarbonate [SoTe], and fosthiazate) and botanical pesticides (azadirachtin, quillaja, and pulverized Melia azedarach fruits [PMF]) on the soil microbial community using phospholipid fatty acids (PLFA) analysis. Principal component analysis (PCA) on the results of the laboratory study indicated that the application of PMF resulted in significant changes in the soil microbial community. This was obvious by the proportional increase in the abundance of fatty acids 18:1ω9cis, 18:1ω9trans, which are common in gram-negative bacteria and saprotrophic fungi, and 18:2ω6,9, which is a fungal indicator. This response was attributed to the release of copious amounts of organic carbon and nutrients in the soil by the PMF. On the other hand, MS inhibited fungi and gram-negative bacteria, while fosthiazate and the botanical pesticides quillaja and azadirachtin did not impose significant changes in the soil microbial community. Similar results were obtained by the field study where application of the fumigants MS and SoTe significantly altered the structure of the soil microbial community with the former having a more prominent effect. Fosthiazate imposed mild changes in the soil microbial community, whereas quillaja and azadirachtin again did not show a significant effect. Overall, botanical pesticides, at their recommended dose, did not alter the structure of the soil microbial community compared to synthetic nonfumigant and fumigant pesticides which induced significant changes.  相似文献

Evaluation of the genetic activity profiles of 65 pesticides   总被引:6,自引:0,他引:6  
We have previously reported the qualitative results of a major study on 65 pesticides (Waters et al., 1982). Dose information from this investigation (either lowest effective or highest ineffective dose tested) has now been incorporated into a computerized data management system. This report focuses on the qualitative profiles of genetic activity produced by these pesticides and our efforts to classify them according to their genotoxic effects and chemical structures. Three main categories may be distinguished based on the qualitative results: Category 1 pesticides were active in most of the in vitro and in vivo assays employed. These 9 compounds include the structurally similar organophosphate insecticides, acephate, demeton, monocrotophos and trichlorfon; the phthalimide fungicide analogues, captan and folpet; and the thiocarbamate herbicide analogues, diallate, sulfallate and triallate. The 26 Category 2 compounds demonstrated fewer positive results and may be subdivided into two parts, one of which contains 12 halogenated aromatic or heterocyclic ring compounds, including the phenoxy herbicides, 2,4-D, 2,4-DB and 2,4,5-T. The remaining part of Category 2 (14 compounds) consists of structurally similar organophosphate insecticides, azinphos-methyl, crotoxyphos, disulfoton, methyl parathion; three similar ethylenebisdithiocarbamate fungicides, maneb, mancozeb, and zineb; three similar pyrethroid insecticides, allethrin, chrysanthemic acid, and ethyl chrysanthemate; and four structurally diverse compounds, cacodylic acid, dinoseb, sec.-butylamine and benomyl. The third category of 30 pesticides gave negative results in all tests and represents structurally diverse compounds. Using the computerized profile matching methodology, from 2080 possible pairwise chemical combinations of the 65 pesticides, 20 statistically significant pairs were selected, 6 groups of pesticides were identified which were substantially similar to groups of pesticides we had formed previously (Waters et al., 1982) based on genetic activity and chemical structure. The matches showed excellent qualitative and, in most cases, excellent quantitative agreement. Hence it appears that specific patterns of test results present in the genetic activity profiles are related directly to chemical structure. Conversely, the data suggests that certain groups of compounds may be recognized by a well defined series of concordant tests results. As additional data is added, comparison of test results for new chemicals with existing data for known genotoxicants should aid in the evaluation of potential genetic health hazards.  相似文献

Improvements in chemical analytical technology and non-invasive sampling protocols have made it easier to detect pesticides and their metabolites at very low concentrations in human tissues. Monitoring has revealed that pesticides penetrate both maternal and paternal reproductive tissues and organs, thus providing a pathway for initiating harm to their offspring starting before fertilization throughout gestation and lactation. This article explores the literature that addresses the parental pathway of exposure to pesticides. We use DDT/DDE as a model for chemicals that oftentimes upon exposure have no apparent, immediate health impacts, or cause no obvious birth defects, and are seldom linked with cancer. Their health effects are overlooked because they are invisible and not life threatening—but might have significant health, social, and economic impacts at the individual and population levels. The purpose of this article is to demonstrate the necessity to develop new approaches for determining the safety of pesticides and the need for innovative regulatory policy to protect human and environmental health.  相似文献

Structure of Cry2Aa suggests an unexpected receptor binding epitope   总被引:17,自引:0,他引:17  
BACKGROUND: Genetically modified (GM) crops that express insecticidal protein toxins are an integral part of modern agriculture. Proteins produced by Bacillus thuringiensis (Bt) during sporulation mediate the pathogenicity of Bt toward a spectrum of insect larvae whose breadth depends upon the Bt strain. These transmembrane channel-forming toxins are stored in Bt as crystalline inclusions called Cry proteins. These proteins are the active agents used in the majority of biorational pesticides and insect-resistant transgenic crops. Though Bt toxins are promising as a crop protection alternative and are ecologically friendlier than synthetic organic pesticides, resistance to Bt toxins by insects is recognized as a potential limitation to their application. RESULTS: We have determined the 2.2 A crystal structure of the Cry2Aa protoxin by multiple isomorphous replacement. This is the first crystal structure of a Cry toxin specific to Diptera (mosquitoes and flies) and the first structure of a Cry toxin with high activity against larvae from two insect orders, Lepidoptera (moths and butterflies) and Diptera. Cry2Aa also provides the first structure of the proregion of a Cry toxin that is cleaved to generate the membrane-active toxin in the larval gut. CONCLUSIONS: The crystal structure of Cry2Aa reported here, together with chimeric-scanning and domain-swapping mutagenesis, defines the putative receptor binding epitope on the toxin and so may allow for alteration of specificity to combat resistance or to minimize collateral effects on nontarget species. The putative receptor binding epitope of Cry2Aa identified in this study differs from that inferred from previous structural studies of other Cry toxins.  相似文献

We used specific diversity of phytoplankton and chlorophyll concentrations as a measure of algal biomass in ponds located in agricultural areas where pesticides and fertilizers are currently used and in natural meadows where pesticides spraying has never occurred.A comparison of the biocoenotic structure of the primary producers in the two types of ponds shows conspicuous differences. Species richness is higher in meadow ponds (25 species) than in agricultural area ponds (10 species). The chlorophyll levels are reduced in agricultural area ponds. These effects could be ascribed to contamination by pesticides.

Organophosphorus (OP) pesticides are among the most widely used pesticides in the United States. Human exposure to these pesticides may occur from their use on crops in agriculture and for pest control in residential settings. Most of the OP pesticides used in the United States are metabolized to up to three of six common urinary dialkyl phosphate metabolites. Quantification of these metabolites provides information on cumulative exposure to most OP pesticides. To accurately quantify OP pesticide metabolites in human urine, we developed a simple, highly sensitive, analytic method involving automated solid-phase extraction (SPE) of human urine, followed by post-extraction derivatization of the organophosphorus metabolites with 1-chloro-3-iodopropane, and analysis by isotope dilution gas-chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry. The styrene-divinyl benzene polymer-based SPE cartridges yielded good SPE recoveries of the metabolites because of their enhanced non-polar interactions. This method is less labor-intensive, more time-efficient, and reproducible than previously reported methods. Automation of the SPE allowed unattended extraction of urine samples, and hence, increased the sample throughput and reduced the inter- and intra-day variations. The method limits of detection were excellent for all analytes ranging from 50 pg/ml to 170 pg/ml. Relative standard deviations ranged from 2% to 12%.  相似文献

Twenty-nine Danish streams were investigated in September 1998. The streams drained catchments of varying hydrology, topography, soil type and land use. In each stream, the newly accumulated streambed sediment was sampled and subsequently analysed for pesticides. In each stream, five replicate macroinvertebrate samples were taken in the same sediments as the pesticide samples. In addition, five samples were taken in riffles to provide a complete picture of macroinvertebrate community composition. The number of detected pesticides reflected soil type and land use: in agricultural catchments on clay soils the average number of pesticides were 4.3±2.2; on sandy soils 2.6±1.0, while only 1.5±0.6 pesticides were found in streams without agricultural activities. The macroinvertebrate composition showed clear changes along this gradient of sediment pesticide concentrations. The number of the amphipod Gammarus pulex was negatively correlated with sediment pesticide concentration, while the number of Oligochaeta and Hirudinae was positively correlated. The findings indicate that pesticides have a potential to structure macroinvertebrate communities in Danish streams. However, agricultural impact is more than pesticides, and several other factors, such as channelisation, affect the macroinvertebrate community and these are not easily separated.  相似文献

The disruption of chemical communication between insects and host plants may take place due to an interference with the signal‐emitting host plant, or the signal‐receiving insect, compromising the signal production and emission, or its reception and processing. Anthropogenic compounds, in general, and pesticides, in particular, may impair the chemical communication that mediates host location by insects. Five different pesticides (the insecticides malathion, pyrethrins and spinetoram, and the fungicides fenhexamid and pyrimethanil) were applied at their field rates to raspberry fruits, or Petri dishes enclosing adult spotted wing Drosophila (SWD; Drosophila suzukii), and the attraction to fruit volatiles was evaluated in a series of two‐choice flight bioassays. The application of raspberry fruit with pesticides did not statistically affect attraction of unexposed adults, with exceptions being the spinetoram treatment, which led to mild insect avoidance, and the pyrethrin treatment, which resulted in slightly preferential attraction. In contrast, adults sublethally exposed to the pesticides had their flight take‐off impaired by the insecticides, but not by the fungicides. Furthermore, all pesticides, and particularly the insecticides, compromised the upwind capture of adults. Thus, the treatment with pesticides may indeed interfere with the flight response of SWD to host volatiles, particularly when the insects were previously exposed to pesticides. These findings are suggestive of the potential for sublethal insecticidal exposures to aid pest control and also provide evidence that pesticide use may compromise sampling/trapping strategies for this pest species that are based on attraction to host volatiles.  相似文献
