Phytochemical investigations on the leaves of Valeriana officinalis L. led to the isolation of 18 compounds, including eight lignans (1–8), three sesquiterpenoids (9–11), five iridoids (12–16), and two aldehydes (17–18) The structure elucidation of isolated compounds was achieved on the basis of NMR and mass spectral data. Among them, three compounds (9–16, 18) are reported from V. officinalis for the first time and one compound (5) was isolated from the genus Valeriana for the first time. In addition, six compounds (2, 4, 6–8, 17) are isolated for the first time from Valerianaceae family. The chemotaxonomic significance of these isolated compounds has also been discussed.  相似文献

A phytochemical investigation on the aerial part of Phyllodium pulchellum led to the isolation of 16 compounds including five flavonoids (15), three lignans (68), four indole alkaloids (912), and four other-type compounds (1316). Their structures were elucidated by their spectroscopic data analysis. Among them, 12 compounds (1, 2, 49, and 1114) are reported from the genus Phyllodium for the first time, while compound 14 was isolated from the Leguminosae family for the first time and compound 11 was firstly reported in the plant kingdom. The chemotaxonomic significance of these compounds was also summarized.  相似文献

A phytochemical study of the whole plants of Chimaphila japonica Miq. led to the isolation of 23 compounds, including ten triterpenoids (110), six flavonoids (1116), two sterols (17 and 18), two quinonoids (19 and 20), one saccharide derivative (21), one phenolic glycoside (22), and one megastigmane glycoside (23). The structures of these isolated compounds were identified using NMR spectroscopy (1H and 13C) by comparison with previously reported data. All compounds, except 19 and 22, were reported from C. japonica for the first time. Among them, 16 compounds (14, 69, 12, 13, 15, 16, 18, 20, 21, and 23) were reported from genus Chimaphila for the first time, while compounds 12, 16, and 23 were isolated from the Ericaceae family for the first time. The chemotaxonomic significance of the isolates was also discussed.  相似文献

The chemical study of the stems extract of Psychotria arborea Hiern led to the isolation of thirteen compounds, including four anthraquinones: 2-methylanthracene-9,10-dione (1), 2-methoxyanthracene-9,10-dione (2), 2-hydroxy-3-methylanthracene-9,10-dione (3) and 3-hydroxy-1-methoxy-2-methylanthracene-9,10-dione (4); two diterpenes: ent-kaur-16-en-19-oic acid (5) and 15-acetoxy-ent-kaur-16-en-19-oic acid (6); two triterpenes, β-amyrin (8) and oleanolic acid (9), one flavonoid: Quercetin (7), three sterols: A mixture of stigmasterol (10) and β-sitosterol (11) and β-sitosterol-3-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (12) and one fatty acid (13). The structures of these compounds were elucidated based on NMR and HR-ESIMS analysis, further supported by comparison with previously reported spectral data. Compounds 14 and compounds 1012 were tested for their antibacterial activity against three bacteria strains Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus aureus and Salmonella enterica. All these tested compounds were found to be inactive. Furthermore, the chemotaxonomic significance of the obtained compounds was discussed in detail.  相似文献

The phytochemical study of the fruits of Zanthoxylum bungeanum Maxim led to the isolation of sixteen compounds, including a new compound zantharin (1) and fifteen other known compounds, which consist of ten coumarins (211), three alkaloids (1214), and two phenols (1516). Their structures were elucidated based on extensive spectroscopic methods (1D and 2D NMR, HRESIMS, UV, and IR experiments) and by comparison with literature data. In this work, all the compounds were isolated from Z. bungeanum for the first time, in which, compounds 5 and 1316 were reported for the first time from the genus Zanthoxylum and the Rutaceae family, respectively. Moreover, the chemotaxonomic significance of isolated compounds is discussed.  相似文献

Sixteen compounds, including one polyacetylene (1), twelve coumarins (2–7, 9–14), one sterol (8), as well as two sugar derivatives (15, 16), were obtained from Libanotis laoshanensis by modern phytochemical isolation methods such as column chromatography and preparative TLC. Their structures were identified by spectroscopic methods and in comparison with the published data in the references. All the compounds were reported from L.laoshanensis for the first time. The chemotaxonomic significance of these compounds was also discussed, which demonstrated the relationships between L. laoshanensis and some other species of Apiaceae.  相似文献

The phytochemical study of the roots of Scorzonera divaricata Turcz led to the isolation of 27 compounds, including eight sterols (18), one lignan (9), two cumarins (10, 11), five phenylpropanoids (1216), six benzene derivatives (1722), methyl-β-D-fructofuranoside (23), monolinolein (24), and three aliphatic acids (2527). The structures of isolated compounds were identified using NMR and ESI-MS spectroscopic methods and comparing them with those previously reported. Except for β-daucosterol (8), scopoletin (10) and caffeic acid (16) from S. divaricata, this is the first report of the other 24 compounds from S. divaricata. Among them, eleven compounds (26, 11, 17, 19, 20, 23, 25) were reported from genus Scorzonera for first time, suggesting that they could be used to distinguish S. divaricata from the other species of Scorzonera. Furthermore, the chemotaxonomic significance of isolated compounds from S. divaricata has also been discussed.  相似文献

A phytochemical investigation of Picrasma quassioides (D.Don) Benn led to the isolation of seventeen compounds including five coumarins (15), six lignans (611), two alkaloids (1213), two phenolic compounds (1415), one megastigman glycoside (16) and one phenylpropanoid (17). The structures of those compounds were determined by spectroscopy data of NMR spectra. All of the compounds were isolated from P. quassioides for the first time. In this study, in order to discuss the chemotaxonomic significance of those compounds from P. quassioides, network analysis was carried out to determine the chemotaxonomic relationships among the Simaroubaceae family and the other families. The result showed that the Simaroubaceae family and the Rutaceae family, together with the Asteraceae family have some chemotaxonomic relationships.  相似文献

The phytochemical study of the pericarps of Zanthoxylum bungeanum Maxim under the guidance of bioactivity led to the isolation of 18 compounds, including a new isobutylhydroxyamide (1) and 17 known compounds, i.e. six alkylamides (27), five coumarins (812), one benzene derivative (13), three flavonoids (1416), and two sterols (1718). Their structures were elucidated based on extensive spectroscopic methods (HRESIMS, 1D and 2D NMR experiments) and by comparison with literature data. New compound (1) and known compound (2) are cis-trans isomeric isobutylhydroxyamides. Among them, compounds 9, 10, and 12 were isolated for the first time from Z. bungeanum, compound 11 was firstly recovered from the genus Zanthoxylum, and compound 14 was reported for the first time from the Rutaceae family. Sixteen compounds, including six flavonoids (16), one lignan (7), three megastigmanes (810), three triterpenoids (1113), and three benzoic acid derivatives (1416) were isolated and structurally elucidated from the pseudo-fruits of Hovenia dulcis. Their structures were analyzed by NMR spectroscopic and data comparison. Among them, compounds 4, 711, 13, 15, and 16 were isolated from the Hovenia genus for the first time. The chemotaxonomic significance of the isolates was also described, which revealed a relationship between H. dulcis and H. acerbar as well as other species belonging to the Rhamnaceae family.  相似文献

Eighteen compounds, including four hemiterpene glycosides (14), three triterpenoid saponins (57), four triterpenes (811), five sterols (12-16) and two monoterpene glucosides (17 and 18), were isolated from the leaves of Ilex urceolatus C. B. Shang, K. S. Tang et D. Q. Du, which was identified as a new species belonging to the genus Ilex. Among them, compounds 1418 were firstly isolated from the genus Ilex, others were obtained from I. urceolatus for the first time. This work represented the initially phytochemical study on this plant. The isolated compounds have significant chemotaxonomic characteristics with the other species from this genus.  相似文献

Phytochemical investigation of the whole plants of Lagopsis supina (Steph.) Ik.-Gal. ex Knorr. led to the isolation of 18 compounds (118), including ten phenylethanoid glycosides (110), one phenylmethanoid glycoside (11), four megastigmane glycosides (1215), and three monoterpenoid glycosides (1618). Lagopsides A (1) and B (2) were identified as new phenylethanoid glycosides. This is the first report of compounds 7, 11, 12, 15, and 16 from the Labiatae family, while compounds 46, 810, 1314, and 1718 were isolated from the genus Lagopsis for the first time. Phytochemical investigation of the roots and rhizomes of Smilacina japonica A. Gray led to the isolation of 16 compounds, including six steroidal saponins (1-6), one amide (7), one fatty alcohol (8), one steroidal sapogenin (9), two flavones (10-11), one glycoside (12), one phenol (13), one aliphatic acid (14), and two sterols (15-16). All of these compounds were isolated for the first time from the roots and rhizomes of S. japonica while compounds 1-13 were identified for the first time from the genus Smilacina, of which compounds 9, 11, and 13 were isolated from the Liliaceae family for the first time. Furthermore, the isolation of compound 9 was reported for the first time in plants. Their structures were identified by spectroscopic methods and compared previously published data. Phytochemical study of Orobanche cernua Loefling afforded 17 compounds, including eleven phenylpropanoid glycosides (111), two flavonoids (12, 13), one lignan (14), and three phenolic acids (1517) were isolated from the fresh whole plant of O. cernua. Their structures were identified by spectroscopic analyses and by comparison of their spectral data with those reported in the literature. This is the first report of isolation of compounds (6, 8, 9, 11, 1416) from O. cernua and compounds (14, 15) from the family Orobanchaceae, respectively. Chemical study of Piper crocatum leaves has led to isolation of a new megastigmane glucoside isomer (18), along with 23 known compounds including fifteen phenolic compounds (115), two monoterpenes (16 and 17), three sesquiterpenes (1921), a phenolic amide glycoside (22), a neolignan (23), and a flavonoid C-glycoside (24). Structures of these compounds were identified via spectroscopic methods and compared with those reported in the literature. Seven compounds (7, 11, 13, 14, 17, 20, and 24) from the P. crocatum species and 17 others (16, 810, 12, 1516, 1819, and 2123) from the Piper genus and Piperaceae family were isolated and reported for the first time. Furthermore, this study discusses chemotaxonomic relations between P. crocatum and other Piper species.  相似文献

Chemical investigation of the root of Rosa laevigata led to the isolation of sixteen phenolic compounds, including seven flavonoids (17), five condensed tannins (812), two stilbenes (13 and 14) and two benzoic acid derivatives (15 and 16). Their structures were identified as (+)-catechin (1), (+)-gallocatechin (2), (2R, 3S, 4S)-cis- leucocyanidin (3), (2R, 3S, 4S)-cis-leucofisetinidin (4), (2S, 3R, 4R)-cis- leucofisetinidin (5), dehydrodicatechin A (6), phloridzin (7), procyanidin B3 (8), fisetinidol-(4α, 8)-catechin (9), guibourtinidol- (4α, 8)-catechin (10), ent- isetinidol -(4α, 6)-catechin (11), fisetinidol-(4β, 8)-catechin (12), (Z)-3-methoxy-5-hydroxy- stilbene (13), (Z)-piceid (14), gallic acid (15) and 4-hydroxybenzoic acid- 4-O-β-D-glucopyranoside (16). Among them, compounds 3–7, 9–14, and 16 were isolated from R. laevigata for the first time, and compounds 3–7, 9, 10, 1214 and 16 were reported for the first time from the genus Rosa. The chemical investigation of the roots of Vernonia guineensis Benth. (Asteraceae) resulted in the isolation of a new ceramide, named vernoguinamide (1), together with fifteen known compounds, including three anthraquinones, physion (2), erythroglaucin (3) and emodin (4), three triterpenoids, hop-17(21)-en-3β-yl acetate (5), lupeol (6) and betulinic acid (7), six steroids, vernoguinoside A (8), vernoguinoside (9), β-sitosterol 3-O-β-D-glucoside (10), stigmasterol 3-O-β-D-glucoside (11), stigmasterol (12) and β-sitosterol (13) and three fatty acid derivatives, tetracosanoic acid (14), tricosanic acid (15) and arachidic acid glycerol ester (16). The structure of the new compound as well as those of the known compounds were established by spectrometric analysis including HRESI-MS, 1D and 2D-NMR and by comparison with the previously reported data. Among these compounds, the anthraquinones 24 and the triterpene 5 were isolated for the first time from Vernonia genus and compounds 6, 7 and 1416 were extracted for the first time from the species. The isolated compounds were tested for their antibacterial activity and 3, 8 and 9 were the most active compounds against the tested bacteria. Furthermore, the chemophenetic relationships of the isolated compounds and their significance were also discussed.  相似文献

Sixteen compounds were isolated from the root barks of Ailanthus altissima (Mill.) Swingle, including thirteen lignans (113), two coumarins (1415), and one chalcone (16). This is the first report on the occurrence of compounds 116 in the genus Ailanthus. Their structures were elucidated on the basis of NMR spectroscopic data. The plant distribution network of all isolated compounds was described to illustrate the significance of taxonomy. The presence of these congenetic lignans (113) and their biosynthetic relationships may be used for identification of Ailanthus genus.  相似文献
