Buffalograss, Buchloë dactyloides, is widely distributed throughout the Great Plains of North America, where it is an important species for rangeland forage and soil conservation. The species consists of two widespread polyploid races, with narrowly endemic diploid populations known from two regions: central Mexico and Gulf Coast Texas. We describe and compare the patterns of allozyme and RAPD variation in the two diploid races, using a set of 48 individuals from Texas and Mexico (four population samples of 12 individuals each). Twelve of 22 allozyme loci were polymorphic, exhibiting 35 alleles, while seven 10-mer RAPD primers revealed 98 polymorphic bands. Strong regional differences were detected in the extent of allozyme polymorphism: Mexican populations exhibited more internal gene diversity (He= 0.20, 0.19) than did the Texan populations (He= 0.08, 0.06), although the number of RAPD bands in Texas (n= 62) was only marginally smaller than in Mexico (n= 68). F-statistics for the allozyme data, averaged over loci, revealed strong regional differentiation (mean FRT=+ 0.30), as well as some differentiation among populations within regions (mean FPR=+ 0.09). In order to describe and compare the partitioning of genetic variation for multiple allozyme and RAPD loci, we performed an Analysis of Molecular Variance (AMOVA). AMOVA for both allozyme and RAPD data revealed similar qualitative patterns: large regional differences and smaller (but significant) population differences within regions. RAPDs revealed greater variation among regions (58.4% of total variance) than allozymes (45.2%), but less variation among individuals within populations (31.9% for RAPDs vs. 45.2% for allozymes); the proportion of genetic variance among populations within regions was similar (9.7% for RAPDs vs. 9.6% for allozymes). Despite this large-scale concordance of allozyme and RAPD variation patterns, multiple correlation Mantel techniques revealed that the correlations were low on an individual by individual basis. Our findings of strong regional differences among the diploid races will facilitate further study of polyploid evolution in buffalograss.  相似文献

Random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) phenotypes generated by 13 primers were scored for 101 individuals in 14 populations of the endangered red-cockaded woodpecker Picoides borealis. Although no population-specific markers were found, the frequencies of several markers differed significantly among populations. Application of the recently developedamova method (analysis of molecular variance; Excoffier, Smouse & Quattro 1992) showed that more than 90% of phenotypic variance occurred among individuals within populations; of the remaining variance, half was attributed among groups of geographically adjacent populations and half among populations within those groups. The statistical significance of these patterns was supported by Monte Carlo sampling simulations and permutation tests. Estimation of allele frequencies from phenotypes provided somewhat weaker evidence for population structure, although among-population variance in allele frequencies was detectable (Fst= 0.19; x2169= 509.3, P < 0.0001). Upgma cluster analyses based on Rogers' (1972) genetic distance revealed grouping of some geographically proximate populations. A Mantel test indicated a positive (r = 0.16), although not significant, correlation between geographic and genetic distances. We compared a subset of our RAPD data with data from a previous study that used allozymes (Stangel, Lennartz & Smith 1992). RAPD (n= 75) and allozyme (n= 245) results based on samples from the same ten populations showed similar patterns. Our study indicates that RAPDs can be helpful in differentiating populations at the phenotypic level even when small sample sizes, estimation bias, and inability to test for Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium complicate the genotypic interpretation. Lack of large differences among populations of red-cockaded woodpeckers may allow flexibility in overpopulation translocations, provided factors such as habitat preference, latitudinal direction of translocation, and status of donor populations are considered.  相似文献

Summary The diversity of HMW glutenin subunits in the tetraploid wild progenitor of wheat, Triticum turgidum var. dicoccoides was studied electrophoretically in 231 individuals representing 11 populations of wild emmer from Israel. The results show that (a) The two HMW glutenin loci, Glu-A1 and Glu-B1, are rich in variation, having 11 and 15 alleles, respectively, (b) Genetic variation in HMW glutenin subunits is often severely restricted in individual populations, supporting an island population genetic model, (c) Significant correlations were found between glutenin diversity and the frequencies of specific glutenin alleles and physical (climate and soil) and biotic (vegetation) variables. Our results suggest that: (a) at least part of the glutenin polymorphisms in wild emmer can be accounted for by environmental factors and (b) the endosperm of wild emmer contains many allelic variants of glutenin storage proteins that are not present in bread wheat and could be utilized in breeding varieties with improved bread-making qualities.  相似文献

Acanthopagrus butcheri completes its entire life history within estuaries and coastal lakes of southern Australia, although adults occasionally move between estuaries via the sea. Consequently, it is expected that populations of A. butcheri in different estuaries will be genetically distinct, with the magnitude of genetic divergence increasing with geographic isolation. However, previous genetic studies of A. butcheri from southeast Australia yielded conflicting results; allozyme variation exhibited minimal spatial structuring (θ = 0.012), whereas mitochondrial DNA distinguished the majority of populations analyzed (θ = 0.263) and genetic divergence was positively correlated with geographic isolation. This discrepancy could reflect high male gene flow, which impacts nuclear but not mitochondrial markers. Here we estimated allele frequencies at five nuclear microsatellite loci across 11 southeast Australian populations (595 individuals). Overall structuring of microsatellite variation was weaker (θ = 0.088) than that observed for mitochondrial DNA, but was able to distinguish a greater number of populations and was positively correlated with geographic distance. Therefore, we reject high male gene flow and invoke a stepping-stone model of infrequent gene flow among estuaries for both sexes. Likewise, management of A. butcheri within the study range should be conducted at the scale of individual or geographically proximate estuaries for both sexes. The lack of allozyme structuring in southeast Australia reflects either the large variance in structuring expected among loci under neutral conditions and the low number of allozymes surveyed or a recent colonization of estuaries such that some but not all nuclear loci have approached migration-drift equilibrium.  相似文献

This paper provides the first evidence of A2 type 1 and type 2 isolates of Phytophthora cinnamomi producing selfed oospores in planta in an Australian soil and in a potting mix. Oospores were observed in infected lupin (Lupinus angustifolius) roots incubated for 7 d either in the substrate under potted Acacia pulchella plants, or in soils collected from under and near varieties of A. pulchella in jarrah (Eucalyptus marginata) forest. The A2 type isolates varied in their ability to produce selfed oospores and none were produced by A1 isolates. The gametangial association was amphigynous and spores were predominantly spherical with diameters from 13–40 μm. The oospores were viable but dormant. Two A2 type isolates produced small numbers of selfed oospores with amphigynous antheridia axenically in Ribeiro's liquid medium within 30 d, and one A2 type 2 isolate produced oospores after mating with an A1 strain. Evidence is presented that the presence of roots of Acacia pulchella, and particularly A. pulchella var. glaberrima and var. goadbyi, enhances the production of oospores.  相似文献

We analyzed variation in advertisement calls and allozymes in 30 populations along a 5000-km transect throughout most of the range of the túngara frog, Physalaemus pustulosus. All 12 call variables measured show significant differences among populations despite the importance of the advertisement call in species recognition. Some call variables exhibited clinal variation, whereas most others differed between the two major allozyme groups that have invaded Panama at different times, perhaps 4–4.5 million yr apart. Call variables that primarily affect discrimination among conspecifics tended to exhibit greater variation than call variables that are crucial for species recognition. The proximate mechanism of production underlying a call variable, however, is a better predictor of its variation. Contrary to predictions of some sexual selection models, call variation exhibits predictable patterns of geographical variation, although a substantial portion of variation among populations is not explained by geographic position. Although allozymes, calls, and geography usually covary, closer populations can have more similar calls independent of allozyme similarity.  相似文献

Summary Twelve U.S. Corn Belt open-pollinated and five adapted exotic populations of maize (Zea mays L.) were assayed for allozyme (allele) variation at 13 enzyme marker loci. Extensive allozyme variability was observed in all populations studied. No locus was monomorphic over all populations. Each of the lociIdh2, Got1, Mdh2, Pgd1, andPgd2 expressed two allozymes over all populations,Adh1, Acp1, Prx1, andEst1 each had three allozymes present,Est4, Glu1, andEnp1 had five allozymes, andAcp4 had six allozymes present. Significant deviations of genotypic frequencies were detected from Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium frequencies and 94% of average Fixation Index values indicated heterozygote deficiencies, which suggested that nonrandom mating and/or natural selection favoring homozygotes were possible factors affecting the maintenance or loss of genetic variability marked by these enzyme loci. Genetic distance and cluster analyses indicated that the observed genetic variability at the 13 enzyme loci was closely related to Dent and Flint types of maize.  相似文献

Patterns of variation and the structuring of diversity in seed phenotype and allozymes were investigated in Sweden Gypsophila fastigiata, a perennial herb with a disjunct ‘Late Glacial relict’ distribution in eastern and northern Europe. The overall patterns of variation in allozymes and seed morphology are congruent and are significantly correlated with geographic distance. However, most of the congruence between the distance matrices based on allozymes and seed morphology is attributable to regional differentiation between the isolated Öland and Dalarna metapopulations. On a local scale, within the two metapopulations, seed shape variation is partially correlated with geography whereas allozyme variation is unrelated to the geographic disposition of the sampling sites. Despite the fact that regional metapopulations can be discriminated on the basis of seed shape and allozyme frequencies, relatively little of the total diversity in seed morphology and allozymes is due to differentiation between regions. Partitioning of diversity into its within- and among-regional, site and individual components, showed that the majority of diversity (52% for seed shape and 91% for allozymes) is stored within sites. Seventy-three percent of the variation in allozymes is due to variation within individuals (i.e. heterozygosity) whereas phenotypic variation in seed shape within individuals is low (0.4% of the total diversity). The events that led to the large scale disjunction of the Late Glacial distribution of G. fastigiata may have shaped the pattern of differentiation observed among the regional isolates of the species. However, the species' history of local population disjunction during post-glacial and historic times has not had a substantial impact on the spatial organization of allozyme and morphometric diversity within regions. Extensive local gene flow may have allowed the regional metapopulations to have functioned as extended effective populations–on a time scale of tens or hundreds of years–and may have hindered the loss of within-site diversity.  相似文献

Genetic diversity and structure of populations of the wild progenitor of barley, Hordeum spontaneum, from three countries, Israel, Turkey and Iran, in the Near East Fertile Crescent, are compared and contrasted. The analysis is based on electrophoretically discernible allozymic variation in proteins encoded by 27 shared loci in 2125 individuals representing 52 populations of wild barley. The results indicate that: (a) H. spontaneum in the Near East Fertile Crescent is very variable genetically; (b) genetic differentiation of populations includes some clinal but primarily regional and local patterns often displaying sharp geographic differentiation over short distances; (c) the average relative genetic differentiation (Gst) was 54% within populations, 39% among populations, and 8% between the three countries; (d) allele distribution is characterized by a high proportion of unique alleles (51%), and a high proportion of common alleles that are distributed either locally or sporadically; (e) discriminant analysis by allele frequencies successfully clustered wild barley of each of the three countries (96% correct classification); (f) a substantial portion of the patterns of allozyme variation in the wild gene pool is significantly correlated with the environment and is predictable ecologically, chiefly by a combination of humidity and temperature variables; (g) natural populations of wild barley are, on the average, more variable than two composite crosses and land races of cultivated barley. The spatial patterns and environmental correlates and predictors of genetic variation of H, spontaneum in the Fertile Crescent indicate that genetic variation in wild barley populations is not only rich but at least partly adaptive and predictable by ecology and allozyme markers. Consequently, conservation and utilization programmes should optimize sampling strategies by following the ecological-genetic factors and allozyme markers as effectively predictive guidelines.  相似文献

Allozyme investigation of the five Cimicifuga taxa in Korea was conducted to assess genetic and clonal diversity within populations and genetic divergence among populations and taxa. Levels of allozyme variation maintained in Korean Cimicifuga taxa were comparable to those for most herbaceous perennials. In general, samples excluding copies of the same multilocus genotype maintained higher levels of genetic diversity than the total samples within populations. Copies of homozygous genotypes at several loci resulting from clonal spread lead to decreased levels of genetic diversity within populations, indicating that clonal reproduction found in Cimicifuga affects population genetic structure. In general, more widely distributed species such as C. dahurica and C. japonica harbored higher levels of allozyme diversity than the other taxa examined. Although two varieties of C. heracleifolia are geographically and reproductively isolated, the genetic and clonal structure of var. bifida seems to resemble var. heracleifolia, indicating that the two varieties may have had a similar evolutionary history. However, the allozyme data strongly indicate that the two morphological types (Groups I and II) of C. simplex should be treated as separate species.  相似文献

Genetic variation was examined within and among North Atlantic, North Sea and Baltic populations of the benthic red alga Phycodrys rubens using allozymes and random amplified polymorphic DNA (RAPD) markers. On western and eastern North Atlantic coasts distinct allozyme types were found, with the exception of western Newfoundland where East and West Atlantic types co-occur. Along the European coasts, two genetic groups were distinguished by fixed allelic differences: an outer oceanic group and a North Sea/Baltic group. The two genetic types co-occur in the Skagerrak and Kattegat region. Reproductive isolation between the two types is suggested by the lack of hybrids in the overlap zones, and they may therefore represent sibling species. Unexpectedly, an analysis of RAPD variation was unable to recover the two cryptic species identified using allozymes. Within-population RAPD variation was similar to or greater than between-population variation. The lack of structure in the RAPD data cannot be attributed solely to technical artefacts of the method but appears to reflect real biological variability. Within-population genomic polymorphisms caused by frequent mutational events are discussed, as are high amounts of genetic drift and possible disruptive selection brought about by stressed habitats. Finally, Baltic and extra-Baltic salinity ecotypes are known to exist in P. rubens. However, no correlation between ecotypic variation and allozyme groups was detected.  相似文献

Local adaptation likely involves selection on multiple, genetically unlinked traits to increase fitness in divergent habitats. Conversely, recombination is expected to counteract local adaptation under gene flow by breaking down adaptive gene combinations. Western European populations of the salt marsh beetle Pogonus chalceus are characterized by large interpopulation variation at various geographical ranges in two traits related to dispersal ability, i.e. wing size and different allozymes of the mitochondrial NADP+-dependent isocitrate dehydrogenase (mtIdh) gene. In this study, we tested whether variation in wing length was as strongly genetically determined in locally adapted populations in a sympatric mosaic compared to allopatric populations, and if variation in mtIDH and wing size was genetically unlinked. We demonstrate that the genetic determination of wing size is very high (h 2 = 0.90) in sympatry and of comparable magnitude as geographically separated populations. Second, we show that, although frequencies of mtIDH allozymes are tightly associated with mean population wing size across Western European populations, the correlation is strongly reduced within some of the populations. These findings demonstrate that the divergence involves at least two traits under independent genetic control and that the genetically distinct ecotypes are retained at geographical distances with ample opportunity for gene flow.  相似文献

A knowledge of intraspecific divergence and range dynamics of dominant forest trees in response to past geological and climate change is of major importance to an understanding of their recent evolution and demography. Such knowledge is informative of how forests were affected by environmental factors in the past and may provide pointers to their response to future environmental change. However, genetic signatures of such historical events are often weak at individual loci due to large effective population sizes and long generation times of forest trees. This problem can be overcome by analysing genetic variation across multiple loci. We used this approach to examine intraspecific divergence and past range dynamics in the conifer Picea likiangensis, a dominant tree of forests occurring in eastern and southern areas of the Qinghai‐Tibet Plateau (QTP). We sequenced 13 nuclear loci, two mitochondrial DNA regions and three plastid (chloroplast) DNA regions in 177 individuals sampled from 22 natural populations of this species, and tested the hypothesis that its evolutionary history was markedly affected by Pliocene QTP uplifts and Quaternary climatic oscillations. Consistent with the taxonomic delimitation of the three morphologically divergent varieties examined, all individuals clustered into three genetic groups with intervariety admixture detected in regions of geographical overlap. Divergence between varieties was estimated to have occurred within the Pliocene and ecological niche modelling based on 20 ecological variables suggested that niche differentiation was high. Furthermore, modelling of population‐genetic data indicated that two of the varieties (var. rubescens and var. linzhiensis) expanded their population sizes after the largest Quaternary glaciation in the QTP, while expansion of the third variety (var. likiangensis) began prior to this, probably following the Pliocene QTP uplift. These findings point to the importance of geological and climatic changes during the Pliocene and Pleistocene as causes of intraspecific diversification and range shifts of dominant tree species in the QTP biodiversity hot spot region.  相似文献

The work attempts to explain the previously discovered phenomenon of excessive taxonomic status of the species and subspecies of Cuban hutias relative to their protein genetic divergence. The reasons underlying the fragmentary distribution of the species belonging to the family Capromyidae over the Antilles and Bahamas is also considered. Samples of four geographically distant hutia (genera Capromys and Mysateles) populations inhabiting different biotypes were assessed according to 32 allozyme loci. It has been demonstrated that the interpopulation and subspecies differentiation in the gene frequencies in these genera is very low. As for the pattern of polymorphism (Shannon’s measure), the populations and subspecies within these genera are well differentiated and adequate to their morphological differentiation. This suggests that the genetic divergence pattern of hutias in post-Pleistoce ne was predominantly determined by selection on the background of a relatively rapid formation of multiple morphotypes. It is assumed that the evolution within the family Capromyidae in the earlier and the later periods was associated with the geomorphological and climatic events in the history of the Earth. This standpoint provides for explaining the phenomena of both the excessive taxonomic status of the Cuban Capromyinae and the fragmentary distribution of these species over the Antilles and Bahamas, amazing at a first glance.  相似文献

The organization of genetic variation in Phlox drummondii was investigated using both allozyme electrophoresis and quantitative genetics. Variation at five polymorphic enzyme loci was characterized in nine populations, and variation in 16 morphological and life-history characters was examined using an analysis of full- and half-sibs in seven populations. Significant levels of genetic variation were found at enzyme loci and for metric characters. Significant heritabilities were observed for 15 of the 16 characters examined. Genetic differences among populations were revealed both by Nei's genetic distance and by phenotypic differences, summarized by discriminant analysis. Partitioning variance in allozyme frequencies among hierarchical levels of genetic organization indicated that 94% of this variance lay within populations, 4% between populations within varieties, and 2% between varieties. Partitioning phenotypic variance for metric characters indicated that 73% lay within populations, 24% lay between populations within varieties, and 3% lay between varieties. Thus, both electrophoretic and metric characters indicated that despite extensive genetic differentiation among populations, most of the evolutionary potential of the species lies within populations.  相似文献

Second chromosome inversion and genotypic frequencies at seven allozyme loci, differentially associated with inversions, were determined in seven natural populations of Drosophila buzzatii. The patterns of variation of allozymes and the inversion polymorphisms were significantly different, indicating the role of adaptive differentiation for the latter. Moreover, the patterns of population structure varied among allozyme loci, suggesting the operation of diversifying selection for certain loci. Differentiation was negligible for Leucyl‐amino peptidase (Lap) and Peptidase‐2 (Pep‐2), low to moderate for Aldehyde oxidase (Aldox), Peptidase‐1 (Pep‐1) and Esterase‐1 (Est‐1) and high for Esterase‐2 (Est‐2) and Xanthine dehydrogenase (Xdh). Significant linkage disequilibria were detected between inversions and Aldox, Est‐1, Est‐2 and Xdh. Multiple regression analyses of inversion and allele frequencies on environmental variables revealed the existence of clines for inversions, Est‐1, Est‐2, Xdh and Aldox along altitudinal, latitudinal and/or climatic gradients. Tests using conditional allele frequencies showed that Est‐1 and Aldox clines could be accounted for by hitchhiking with inversions, whereas natural selection should be invoked to explain the clines observed for Est‐2 and Xdh.  相似文献

Abstract The plethodontid salamander Desmognathus orestes, a member of the D. ochrophaeus species complex, is distributed in southwestern Virginia, eastern Tennessee, and western North Carolina. Previous allozyme analyses indicate that D. orestes consists of two distinct groups of populations (D. orestes‘B’ and D. orestes‘C’) with extensive intergradation and probable gene flow between these two groups. Spatially varying allele frequencies can reflect historical associations, current gene flow, or a combination of population‐level processes. To differentiate among these processes, we use multiple markers to further characterize divergence among populations of D. orestes and assess the degree of intergradation between D. orestes‘B’ and D. orestes‘C’, specifically investigating variation in allozymes, mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA), and reproductive behavior among populations. On a broad scale, the mtDNA genealogies reconstruct haplotype clades that correspond to the species identified from previous allozyme analyses. However, at a finer geographic scale, the distributions of the allozyme and mtDNA markers for D. orestes‘B’ and D. orestes‘C’ are discordant. MtDNA haplotypes corresponding to D. orestes‘B’ are more broadly distributed across western North Carolina than predicted by allozyme data, and the region of intergradation with D. orestes‘C’ indicates asymmetric gene flow of these markers. Asymmetric mating may contribute to observed discordance in nuclear versus cytoplasmic markers. Results support describing D. orestes as a single species and emphasize the importance of using multiple markers to examine fine‐scale patterns and elucidate evolutionary processes affecting gene flow when making species‐level taxonomic decisions.  相似文献

The evolutionary and functional relationships among breeding systems and floral morphology were investigated in the Turnera ulmifolia complex. Predictions of a model of breeding system evolution among distylous and homostylous varieties were tested. Chromosome counts of 73 accessions revealed an association between breeding system and chromosome number. Diploid and tetraploid populations of five taxonomic varieties are distylous and self-incompatible, whereas hexaploid populations of three varieties are homostylous and self-compatible. The latter occur at different margins of the geographical range of the complex. Crossing studies and analyses of pollen and ovule fertility in F1's revealed that the three homostylous varieties are intersterile. To test the prediction that, homostylous varieties are long homostyles that have originated by crossing over within the distyly supergene, a crossing program was undertaken among distylous and homostylous plants. Residual incompatibility was observed in styles and pollen of each homostylous variety with patterns consistent with predictions of the cross-over model. The intersterility of hexaploid varieties suggests that long homostyly has arisen on at least three occasions in the complex by recombination within the supergene controlling distyly. Deviation from expected compatibility behavior occurs in populations of var. angustifolia that have the longest styles. These phenotypes displayed the greatest separation between anthers and stigmas (herkogamy) and set little seed in crosses with long- or short-styled plants. This suggests that they are derived from long homostyles with shorter length styles. It is proposed that selection for increased outcrossing has favored the evolution of herkogamy in long homostyles. Estimates of outcrossing rate in a distylous population using allozyme markers confirmed that dimorphic incompatibility enforces complete outcrossing. Significant genetic variation for floral traits likely to influence the mating system, such as stigma-anther separation, occurs within and among homostylous populations of var. angustifolia on Jamaica. Estimates of the mating system of families from a population with varying degrees of stigma-anther separation, using five isozyme loci, were heterogeneous and ranged from t = 0.04–0.79. Families exhibiting the largest mean stigma-anther separation have higher outcrossing rates than those with little separation.  相似文献

In this paper we attempt to investigate relationships between the amount of genetic divergence in nuclear genes and the degree of morphological differentiation for different sets of characters in Dolichopoda cave crickets. Six populations representing five Dolichopoda species from Central and Southern Italy have been studied. The overall genetic divergence at nuclear genes was estimated both by single copy DNA-DNA hybridization and allozyme frequencies at 26 loci. Euclidean distances for two multivariate sets of morphometric variables: one describing body and appendage morphology, the other male epiphallus shape. Results showed a close agreement between the branching patterns of ΔTm values from DNA hybridization and Nei's allozyme distance values. On the other hand, patterns of morphological divergence revealed independent trends, although the branching pattern based on epiphallus morphology matched to some extent the phylogenies inferred from molecular data. The relative value of molecular and morphological characters as reliable phylogenetic tracers was evaluated in relation to their dependence on evolutionary factors. Implications of these findings on the calibration of molecular clocks are also discussed. The absolute rate of molecular change based on scDNA was estimated to be at least 0.98% divergence/my/lineage. This result is in agreement with calibrations attempted on other insects. Estimates of time of divergence based on allozymes (Nei's D) were highly consistent with the estimate from geological data.  相似文献

Samples of the spotted murrel (Channa punctatus) were collected from three rivers of Tamil Nadu and Kerala. The allozyme variation of C. punctatus was investigated by polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. Eighteen enzymes were detected, but only 10 (EST, PGM, G3PDH, G6PDH, SOD, GPI, ODH, GDH, XDH, and CK) showed consistent phenotypic variations. Allele frequencies were estimated at the 18 polymorphic loci representing 10 enzymes. Two rare alleles, EST-4*C and G6PDH-2*C, were noted in the Tamirabarani and Kallada populations but were absent in the Siruvani population. The allele frequencies of the Tamirabarani and Kallada populations were similar, except for a few loci. Among the three populations, the maximum genetic distance (0.026) and FST (0.203) were found between the geographically distant Siruvani and Kallada populations. Overall the study showed that among the three populations, the Tamirabarani and Kallada have similar genetic structures.  相似文献
