The tribe Colpopterini Gnezdilov, 2003 is revised, upgraded to the subfamily Colpopterinae, stat. n., and transferred from the family Issidae Spinola to Nogodinidae Melichar. The tribe Colpopterini is recorded from the Afrotropical Region for the first time—Bumerangum deckerti gen. et sp. n. is described from Southern Africa. The tribe Colpopterini s. str. comprises 6 genera: Bumerangum gen. n., Caudibeccus Gnezdilov et O’Brien, 2008, Colpoptera Burmeister, 1835, Jamaha Gnezdilov et O’Brien, 2008, Neocolpoptera Dozier, 1931, and Ugoa Fennah, 1945. The genera Cheiloceps Uhler, 1895, Tempsa Stål, 1866, Eupilis Walker, 1857, and Gabaloeca Walker, 1870 are transferred to the tribe Issini Spinola of the family Issidae. Issus longulus Lethierry, 1890 is transferred to the genus Colpoptera Burmeister. A key to the genera and a list of the species of the tribe Colpopterini are given. Morphological data confirming independent evolution of similar ovipositor types in the families Issidae and Nogodinidae are provided. The term “styletization” is suggested for describing the transformation of the ovipositor from a rounded to an elongate type.  相似文献

New replacement names are proposed for two genera of the family Dictyopharidae (Hemiptera: Fulgoromorpha). The following changes are proposed: Neonotostrophia nom. n. for Notostrophia Emeljanov (not Waterhouse); Emeljanovina nom. n. for Glochina Emeljanov (not Meigen); Neonotostrophia nigrosuturalis (Melichar, 1912) comb. n. from Notostrophia nigrosuturalis (Melichar, 1912) = Dictyophara nigrosuturalis Melichar, 1912 and Emeljanovina dixoni (Distant, 1906) comb. n. from Glochina dixoni (Distant, 1906) = Dictyophara dixoni Distant, 1906.  相似文献

The dictyopharid planthopper tribe Aluntiini s.l. is revised and reclassified into two tribes: Aluntiini s.s. and Arjunini Song & Szwedo trib. nov. The tribe Aluntiini s.s. includes five genera: Aluntia Stål, 1866; D endrophora Melichar, 1903 stat. rev. ; Dictyomorpha Melichar, 1912; Indodictyophara Liang & Song, 2012; and Madagascaritia Song & Liang gen. nov. The new tribe Arjunini comprises two genera – Arjuna Muir, 1934 and Pippax Emeljanov, 2008 – both moved from Aluntiini s.l. Four new species – A luntia longicephalica Song & Szwedo sp. nov. , Madagascaritia angusta Song & Liang sp. nov. , Arjuna maai Song & Wang sp. nov. , and Arjuna muiri Song & Wang sp. nov. – are described. A morphologically based phylogenetic analysis is undertaken for Aluntiini, Arjunini, and the representatives of Dictyopharini, Hastini, Orthopagini, and the fossil Worskaitini within Dictyopharinae, all distributed in the Old World. A matrix of 129 characters of the habitus, coloration, head, thorax, and male and female genitalia of the adults was used for the cladistic analysis. The phylogenetic results show that Aluntiini s.l. as placed in Dictyopharidae is well supported, but it is distinctly paraphyletic and should be separated into two unambiguous tribes. A palaeotropical distribution pattern displayed by Aluntiini is suggested. The origin and diversification of Aluntiini are discussed preliminarily. © 2015 The Linnean Society of London  相似文献

Abstract. The Abana group sensu Mejdalani (2000) includes the genera Abana Distant, Acrobelus Stål, Acrogonia Stål, Deselvana Young, Omagua Melichar, Raphirhinus de LaPorte and Teletusa Distant. A comparative morphological study of these genera and six outgroup taxa yielded seventy-four characters of the head, thorax, and male and female genitalia. The structures of the female genitalia, studied for the first time in a phylogenetic analysis of proconiine genera, provided informative characters for the analysis. A phylogenetic analysis conducted to estimate the relationships among these genera, using six outgroup genera, revealed eight equally most-parsimonious trees. Goloboff's implied weights method resulted in two trees and successive weighting selected one of the original trees. The latter shows the following relationships for the genera: (Cicciana ((Acrogonia, Homalodisca) (Molomea, Tretogonia)) (Diestostemma (Desamera (Acrobelus ((Abana, Omagua) ((Raphirhinus (Deselvana sp., Deselvana ornata, Deselvana excavata)) (Deselvana dorsivitta, Teletusa))))))). The monophyly of the Abana group was not recovered, but a monophyletic group including Abana, Acrobelus, Deselvana, Omagua, Raphirhinus and Teletusa appeared in all eight trees. The genus Deselvana seems to be polyphyletic.  相似文献

Six new genera and eight new species are described from South and Central Americas, South Africa, and Southeastern Asia. Illustrations of the male genitalia of the type species of the genera Duiliopsis Bergevin and Perindus Emeljanov are given. The generic name Duiliopsis is synonymized with Duilius Stål. The synonymy of the generic name Hemitropis Fieber with Duilius is supported.  相似文献

Pharsalinae subfam. n. is erected in the family Ricaniidae Amyot et Serville for two monotypical genera Pharsalus Melichar, 1906 and Silvanana Metcalf, 1947 distributed in South America. The members of the new subfamily are characterized by the submacroptery, simple radius and anterior cubitus of the fore wing, the style capitulum bearing a lateral tooth, and the subrectangular (in lateral view) gonoplacs with partly separated third lobes and without marginal teeth. Pharsalus repandus Melichar, 1906 is recorded from Uruguay for the first time.  相似文献

Prior to this study, the genus Heraeus Stål, 1862 included 14 species, all of which are restricted to the Western Hemisphere. Three species are known from the Nearctic Region, nine from the Neotropical Region, and two mainly tropical elements are distributed in both regions. In this contribution, we consider Heraeus cincticornis Stål, 1874 a junior synonym of Heraeus elegans (Walker, 1873), select a lectotype for Heraeus coquilletti Barber, 1914, and neotype for Lygaeus triguttatus Guérin‐Méneville, 1857, and describe 28 new species. In addition, the two new genera, Baranowskiobius gen. nov., to include H. elegans (Baranowskiobius elegans comb. nov.) and two new species, and Paraheraeus gen. nov., to include Heraeus eximius Distant, 1882 (Paraheraeus eximius comb. nov.), are described. Previously described species and new taxa are (re)described and illustrated, including male genitalia. Scanning electron micrographs, general habitus photographs, and distribution maps are included for all species studied. A phylogenetic analysis comprising 46 terminal taxa and 50 morphological characters was performed, and five species groups were hypothesized, including the coquilletti, caliginosus, guttatus, illitus, and plebejus groups. All known species of Heraeus and the new genera are included in the phylogenetic analysis. The type species of the genera Myodocha Latreille, 1807, Orthaea Dallas, 1852, and Paisana Dellapé, 2008 are used as out‐groups.  相似文献

The genus Gnezdilovius Meng, Webb et Wang, 2017 is revised. Maculergithus Constant et Pham, 2016, which was described as a subgenus of Gergithus Stål, 1870, is upgraded to a genus. Ishiharanus Hori, 1969 is reinstalled from synonymy with Gergithus and considered a valid name. Two new genera are erected, Ceratogergithus Gnezdilov, gen. n. (type species: Gergithus spinosus Che, Zhang et Wang, 2007) and Ophthalmosphaerius Gnezdilov, gen. n. (type species: Hernisphaerius trilobulus Che, Zhang et Wang, 2006). Hernisphaerius bistriatus Schumacher, 1915, Gergithus carbonarius Melichar, 1906, G. rosticus Chan et Yang, 1994, G. nummarius Chan et Yang, 1994, and G. rotundus Chan et Yang, 1994 are transferred to the genus Epyhemisphaerius Chan et Yang, 1994, Gergithus quinquemaculatus Che, Zhang, Wang, 2007—to the genus Maculergithus, Gergithus chelatus Che, Zhang, Wang, 2007 and G. pseudotessellatus Che, Zhang, Wang, 2007—to the genus Ceratogergithus, Hernisphaerius binocularis Chen, Zhang, Chang, 2014—to the genus Ophthalmosphaerius, and Gergithus robustus hoozanensis Schumacher, 1915—to the genus Gnezdilovius. The male genitalia of Gergithus herbaceus (Kirby, 1891) and Hernisphaerius interclusus Noualhier, 1896 are illustrated for the first time.  相似文献

A new genus,Votschia, based onJacquinia nemophila Pittier, is described and the new combinationVotschia nemophila (Pittier) Ståhl is made. The genus is known only from a small coastal area in northeastern Panama. It resemblesJacquinia in having flattened, petaloid staminodes andDeherainia in leaf morphology and corolla shape, but differs from both these genera in having the pollen exine fossulate-foveolate and the petiolar vascular bundles arranged in a circle. The two last-mentioned features are similar to conditions present in the three remaining genera of the family,Theophrasta, Neomezia, andClavija. Votschia differs from all other Theophrastaceae in its papillose young shoots and by having the abaxial leaf sclerenchyma arranged in a layer rather than in bundles.  相似文献

The revision of punctate rhynchonellids of the superfamily Rhynchoporoidea revealed that the superfamily is composite. Based on the detail study of shell interior, the punctate rhynchonellids of the genus Rhynchopora King, 1865, subfamily Rhynchoporinae Muir-Wood, 1955 are placed into the family Trigonirhynchiidae Schmidt, 1965, superfamily Rhynchotrematoidea Schuchert, 1913. The genera Greira Erlanger, 1993, Tchanakhtchirostrum Sartenaer et Plodowski, 2003, Sharovaella Pakhnevich, 2012, Zaigunrostrum Sartenaer et Plodowski, 2003 are also referred to this family within the subfamily Greirinae Erlanger, 1993. The only genus of the subfamily Tretorhynchinae Savage, 2002, Tretorhynchia Brunton, 1971, is moved to the family Leiorhynchidae Stainbrook, 1945, superfamily Camarotoechioidea Schuchert, 1929. Araratella Abrahamian, Plodowski, et Sartenaer, 1975 within the subfamily Araratellinae Erlanger, 1986 is referred to the family Septalariidae Havlicek, 1960 of the same superfamily. The position of Rariella Zhang, 1981, Yingtangella Bai et Ying, 1977, Momarhynchus Baranov et Sartenaer, 1996 in the order Rhynchonellida remains controversial. The punctation and exopunctation is found to arise parallel in different rhynchonellid evolutionary branches after the Frasnian-Famennian mass extinction.  相似文献

The two resin assassin bugs belonging to the tribe Ectinoderini (Hemiptera: Reduviidae: Harpactorinae) occurring in China are documented: Amulius malayus Stål, 1867 is redescribed and Ectinoderus sinicus Chen & Cai, sp. nov. is described as new. The discovery of the new species extends the distribution of the genus and the tribe northwards from tropical Southeast Asia to southern mainland China. A key to the two ectinoderine genera and species from China is provided to facilitate their identification. DNA barcodes and bionomic data are provided for the species concerned, and their conservation is briefly discussed.http://zoobank.org/urn:lsid:zoobank.org:pub:A7F7402E-E9A8-4FAD-B72A-4B1C9B2A7276.  相似文献
