基于等面积高度带划分的贺兰山维管植物物种丰富度的海拔分布格局 总被引:6,自引:0,他引:6
山地植物物种丰富度海拔分布格局是生物多样性研究的热点之一。以往研究中一般将山体划分为等海拔间距的高度带, 以分析物种丰富度的垂直格局, 其缺陷在于因各高度带面积不相等而可比性下降。为消除面积不相等的影响, 作者利用数字高程数据(DEM, Digital Elevation Model)在地理信息系统(GIS)工具支持下, 尝试将贺兰山(海拔范围1,300–3,500 m)划分为等面积的数个高度带, 从而分析其物种丰富度的海拔格局。结果表明: (1) 贺兰山物种丰富度呈现为单峰式海拔格局, 峰值出现在海拔2,000 m附近。(2) 逐步回归分析显示, 坡度异质性是解释物种丰富度海拔分布格局的最优因子。高度带的坡度异质性越大, 意味着地形的起伏变化越大, 反映出生境类型越趋多样化, 从而可维持多个物种的共存。(3) 贺兰山植物物种丰富度在海拔2,000 m 附近达到峰值, 可能与植被演变历史、气候条件、地形复杂度、生态过渡带和中间膨胀效应的共同影响有关。(4) 对山体进行等面积划带, 可直接消除面积不相等带来的影响, 与等间距划带的方法相比, 尤其在物种海拔分布信息准确度较高时更具优势。 相似文献

In summer 2003 we recorded the presence and abundance of alien plant species at 232 sites (107 railway stations and 125 road sites) along mountain passes in the Swiss Alps. The altitudinal distribution of species was related to the current abundance of the species in Switzerland and time since introduction. A total of 155 alien taxa were recorded. Numbers of species per site declined exponentially with altitude, and only a few species were found in the alpine zone (>2000 m). In contrast, species richness among comparable native taxa appeared to be nearly independent of altitude over the range investigated. Maximum altitude reached by alien species was related positively to both total area occupied in Switzerland and to time since introduction. A comparison of the results with earlier records suggests that many species, particularly those previously restricted to low or intermediate altitudes, have advanced their altitudinal limits over the past few decades. Various hypotheses are presented to explain the declining abundance of alien species with altitude: low-altitude filter effects, low propagule pressure, and genetic swamping of peripheral populations at higher altitudes. However, at present we do not have sufficient evidence to determine the relative importance of these effects. We conclude that invasion into mountain areas such as the Swiss Alps tends to proceed rather slowly, though the process may be accelerated by climatic warming. For this reason, further research to investigate the processes determining how plants invade mountain areas is urgently needed. And more generally, investigations into the distribution of alien species along strong altitudinal gradients may provide valuable insights into the mechanisms driving the spread of alien organisms. 相似文献

Roadside plant communities were studied along two roads following an altitudinal gradient in Gran Canaria and Tenerife (Canary Islands). Our aim was to investigate variation in plant species richness, particularly of the alien flora, along a gradient from coastal shrubland to summit vegetation (1950 m a.s.l. in Gran Canaria, 2300 m in Tenerife) in relation to variation in habitat factors (altitude, habitat structure, roadside disturbance, distance to urban nuclei). We compared different species groups that were classified in terms of their biogeographical status, origin and life form. Altitude was the most important factor determining species richness and composition along both roadside transects. Alien plants showed a unimodal distribution pattern along the altitudinal gradient, with less species and lower abundance at low and high altitudes, and highest abundance at intermediate altitude. Alien plant species were also relatively more frequent near urban centres. The number of native and alien species was significantly positively correlated along the altitudinal gradient. Both alien and native, non-endemic species showed differences in their distribution along the altitudinal gradient according to their biogeographical affinities and climatic tolerances. Despite considerable differences in species pools these patterns were consistent among the two islands. Environmental (abiotic) stress is proposed as a primary, altitude-related factor acting as a filter against most alien plants at coastal and high-mountain altitudes. A higher frequency or intensity of disturbance at intermediate altitudes may be a further causal factor promoting alien plants in this zone. Future management efforts to control alien plants along roads should, therefore, concentrate on intermediate altitudinal zones of the higher Canary Islands. 相似文献

基于秦岭山脉中段牛背梁自然保护区南北坡垂直样带51个样方的调查资料,利用植被数量分析方法(TWINSPAN和DCA)对牛背梁植物群落进行了分类和排序,并分析了植物物种多样性沿海拔梯度的分布格局。结果表明,牛背梁的植被群落具有明显的海拔梯度格局,从低海拔到高海拔依次分布有:锐齿槲栎(Quercus aliena var.acuteserrata)林,桦木(Betula spp.)林.巴山冷杉(Abis Jargesii)林和亚高山灌丛。海拔梯度是牛背梁山区制约植物群落分布的主要因子,而坡向和坡度则起到次要作用。对物种多样性的分析表明,物种总数、木本植物物种多样性和草本植物物种多样性在南北坡具有不同的海拔梯度格局。物种总数在南坡呈现单峰分布格局,而在北坡分布趋势不明显;木本植物物种多样性在南北坡具有相似的分布格局:在低海拔沿海拔梯度变化不明显,而在高海拔则随海拔上升而急剧下降;草本植物物种多样性在南北坡沿海拔梯度变化的规律不明显。β多样性沿海拔梯度先减少后增加,形成两端高中间低的格局,说明中海拔地区生境条件较为均一,低海拔地区的人为活动增加了生境的异质性,而高海拔地区的生态过渡特性增加了物种的更替速率以及群落的相异性。 相似文献

Segregation,nestedness and homogenisation in plant communities dominated by native and alien species

ABSTRACTBackground: Highly modified landscapes offer the opportunity to assess how environmental factors influence the integration of alien plant species into native vegetation communities and determine the vulnerability of different communities to invasion.Aims: To examine the importance of biotic and abiotic drivers in determining whether alien plant species segregate spatially from native plant communities or become integrated and lead to biotic homogenisation.Methods: Ordination and classification of a floristic survey of over 1200 systematically located 6 m × 6 m plots were used to examine how plant community segregation, nestedness and homogenisation varied in relation to climate, environmental and human-related factors across Banks Peninsula, New Zealand.Results: The analyses of community structure indicated that native and alien plant communities were spatially and ecologically segregated due to different responses primarily to an anthropogenic impact gradient and secondly to environmental factors along an elevation gradient. Human-land use appeared most strongly linked to the distribution of alien species and was associated with increased vegetation homogenisation. However, despite spatial segregation of alien and native plant communities, biotic homogenisation not only occurred in highly managed grasslands but also in relatively less managed shrublands and forest.Conclusions: The role played by anthropogenic factors in shaping alien and native plant species community structure should not be ignored and, even along a marked environmental gradient, if the recipient sites have a long history of human-related disturbance, biotic homogenisation is often strong. 相似文献

Aims To describe the biodiversity patterns of plants along an altitudinal gradient on the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau and to clarify the bias in plant specimen records at high altitude.Methods We conducted a large-scale investigation of vegetation at a wide range of altitudes, focusing on a high-altitudinal range (3?200–5?200 m) at different locations on the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau. We then compared the altitudinal distribution of plant species obtained from our field investigation with that in plant specimen records from published sources and an online database.Important findings Our data provide evidence that altitude plays a large role in regulating species composition on the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau. We could not, however, detect a clear relationship between altitude and species richness, although a weak monotonically increasing trend of richness was detected with increasing altitude. According to specimen records, most species have been sampled at a wide range of altitudes, and the average range of 145 species is>2?000 m. Despite this wide range, more than half of the species we observed were at higher altitudes than the specimen records indicate. High-altitude areas have probably been so poorly sampled that only a small fraction of the resident species has been recorded. This study clearly shows the regional bias of specimen records in the Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau. 相似文献

In the context of global change, the impacts of forest structure alteration on climbing plants in extra-tropical ecosystems are poorly understood. It also remains little explored, the functional strategies among climbing plant species and its relationship with the local-scale distribution of climbing plant communities. Here, we aimed at three goals: (i) we studied how climbing plant community composition responds to the modification of the original forest structure in a subtropical dry forest; (ii) we characterized climbing plant species according to functional traits related to the acquisition and use of resources; and (iii) we examined whether functional strategies at the community level are also responding to vegetation structure change, a much less addressed topic in the ecology of climbing plants. 相似文献

Aim To study the altitudinal variation of ground spiders (Araneae, Gnaphosidae) of Crete, Greece, as far as species composition, species richness, activity and range of distribution are concerned. Location Altitudinal zones (0–2400 m) along the three main mountain massifs of the island of Crete. Methods Thirty‐three sampling sites were located from 0 to 2400 m a.s.l. on Crete, and sampled using pitfall traps. Material from the high‐activity period of Gnaphosidae (mid‐spring to mid‐autumn) was analysed. Sampling sites were divided into five altitudinal zones of 500 m each. Statistical analysis involved univariate statistics (anova ) and multivariate statistics, such as multidimensional scaling (MDS) and cluster analysis (UPGMA) using binomial data of species presence or absence. Results Species richness declines with altitude and follows a hump‐shaped pattern. The activity pattern of the family, as a whole, is not correlated with altitude and is highly species‐specific. In the highest zone, both species richness and activity decline dramatically. The altitudinal range of species distribution increases with altitude. On the Cretan summits live highly tolerant lowland species and isolated residents of the high mountains of Crete. Two different patterns of community structure are recorded. Main conclusions Communities of Gnaphosidae on Crete present two distinct structures following the altitudinal gradient, these being separated by a transitional zone between 1600 and 2000 m. This study supports previous results which show a hump‐shaped decline in species richness of Gnaphosidae along altitudinal gradients, leading to a peak at 400–700 m, where an optimum of environmental factors exists. This makes this zone the meeting point of the often opportunistic lowland species with the older and most permanent residents of the island. Rapoport's rule on the positive correlation of the altitudinal range of species distributions with altitude is also supported. The high activity recorded for the species that persist on the high mountains of Crete is indicative of a tolerant arachnofauna, and is considered to result from relaxation of competitive interactions with other species. This is related to a reduction in species numbers, shortening of the activity period on high mountains and the unique presence of high mountain species that thrive only there. As shown in our study, strategies to cope with altitude are species‐specific. Therefore, there cannot exist one single model to describe how animals react to the change in altitude, even under the same environmental conditions. 相似文献

不同地理区域影响生物分布格局的因子不同,对外来入侵物种也是如此。在区域尺度上分析外来入侵生物的空间分布格局及其影响因子对预测生物入侵的影响及入侵种的控制管理具有重要意义。本研究应用中国外来入侵物种数据库、自然环境数据库和社会人文环境数据库,分析了我国外来入侵动植物的空间格局;并运用主成分分析(PCA)和典范对应分析(CCA)探讨了自然环境和人类活动等因素对外来入侵动植物分布格局的影响;同时研究了外来入侵物种多样性与本地物种多样性之间的关系。结果表明,我国现有外来入侵动物138种、入侵植物384种,其数量和密度都呈现出由东南沿海向西北内陆减少的趋势,且入侵动物和入侵植物空间格局基本一致;降水(MAP)是决定我国外来入侵动植物分布格局的主要自然环境因子,国民生产总值(GDP)是主要社会经济影响因子。在全国尺度上,外来入侵物种多样性与本地物种多样性之间呈显著的正相关关系,但地域间存在较大差异。不同区域外来入侵物种与本土物种多样性的相关关系表现出不同,与研究尺度有密切关系。 相似文献

The study of changes in species richness and composition along rivers has focused on large spatial scales. It has been ignored that in different sections of the river (high mountain area, middle zone, and mouth of the river) the specific environmental conditions can generate different longitudinal patterns of the species richness and composition. In this study, we determine whether species richness and composition of the riparian plant communities change along a mountain river and whether these changes are related to environmental variables. We expect an increase in species richness and turnover along the river, that the upstream communities would be a subset of the downstream communities, and that such would be related to edaphic and hydrologic conditions. To test this, we sampled three strata of the riparian vegetation (upper: individuals with <1 cm of ND, middle: individuals with >1 cm of ND, low: individuals with >1 m tall) in a set of 15 sites that we place along a mountain river. Additionally, we recorded topographic, hydrological, morphological, and soil variables. We performed correlation analyzes to determine whether changes in species richness and turnover were related to increased distance to the origin of the river. Also, we obtained the nestedness and evaluated the importance of environmental variables with GLM, LASSO regression, and CCA. With the increase in distance, the species richness decreases in the upper stratum, but not in the middle and the low stratum (although the highest values were observed near the origin of the river), the turnover increase in all strata and the upstream communities were not a subset of the downstream communities. The changes in species richness and composition were related to topographic (altitude), hydrological (flow), and edaphic (conductivity and pH) variables. Our results indicate that at small spatial scales the patterns of richness and composition differ from what has been found at larger spatial scales and that these patterns are associated with environmental changes in the strong altitude gradients of mountain rivers. 相似文献

为了解苏州外来入侵植物的种类组成及分布概况,对苏州地区6个县市(包括常熟、昆山、苏州、太仓、吴江和张家港)26个样点内不同生境中的外来入侵植物进行了调查分析.调查结果显示:每个样点有外来人侵植物7~25种,平均每个样点有17.9种.在26个样点中观察到外来入侵植物57种,隶属于19科45属;其中菊科(Compositae)种类最多(23种),占总种数的40.4%;豆科(Leguminosae)、玄参科(Scrophulariaceae)、禾本科(Poaceae)、伞形科(Apiaceae)、苋科(Amaranthaceae)和旋花科(Convolvulaceae)种类也较多.原产于北美洲和欧洲的种类分别有20和12种,分别占总种数的35.1%和21.0%;还有17种原产于美洲的其他区域,少数种类原产于非洲、西亚和地中海地区.在57种外来入侵植物中,草本植物有55种,非多年生植物有44种,分别占总种数的96.5%和77.2%.有18种的频度超过50%,其中加拿大一枝黄花(Solidago canadensis L.)和一年蓬[Erigeron annuus (L.) Pers.]的频度最高,分别达到96.15%和92.31%,且多度等级均属于极多级(Soc);空心莲子草[ Ahernanthera philoxeroides( Mart.) Griseb.]和白车轴草(Trifolium repens L.)的频度也均在80%以上,且多度等级也属于极多级(Soc).调查结果表明:苏州地区外来植物入侵现象比较严重. 相似文献

根据Rapoport法则, 动物、植物物种的纬度或海拔分布宽度存在着从高纬度或高海拔地区向低纬度或低海拔地区逐渐变窄的现象。本文基于物种的海拔分布数据, 分析了神农架维管束植物及不同种域宽度组的物种丰富度海拔格局; 采用已有的4种方法和本文改进的种域分组中点法, 分析了海拔梯度上种域宽度与种域中点的关系, 并检验其是否符合Rapoport法则。结果表明, 神农架地区维管植物丰富度的海拔梯度分布格局呈单峰型, 峰值在1,000–1,500 m; 不同种域组的物种丰富度分布具有类似的单峰格局, 但随着种域宽度减小, 其物种丰富度的峰值逐渐偏向低海拔。对于神农架的物种海拔分布数据, Stevens方法、Pagel方法和逐种方法的结果都支持Rapoport法则, 而中点法的结果主要反映中域效应的影响, 种域分组中点法可有效控制中域效应的影响, 但不支持Rapoport法则。上述结果表明, 对于Rapoport法则的检验亟待研究方法的改进; 而种域的海拔格局及其形成机制, 还需要更多案例的比较研究, 才能形成普遍性的认识。 相似文献

采用典型样带调查法,通过对新疆喀纳斯旅游区树种多样性垂直格局及其与自然火干扰分布关系的研究,揭示了树种多样性沿海拔梯度的分布格局及其对自然火干扰的响应特征.结果表明:①树种多样性随海拔的升高呈现明显的下降态势(P<0.01),但树种多样性与海拔高度之间的相关程度不高(R2=0.2165),并且表现出以1900m为界的区域性变化特征.②所调查范围内共发生了8次自然火干扰事件,平均间隔时间为14a,干扰事件多集中在1900m以下的较低海拔区.③林分受自然火干扰作用后,树种多样性普遍表现出增加的特征.总体而言,海拔高度是影响喀纳斯森林群落树种多样性垂直分布格局形成的基本因素,但随机发生的自然火干扰是主导1900m以下较低海拔区树种多样性丰富的关键因素之一. 相似文献

农业生态系统极易遭受外来生物入侵。作者根据文献资料和多年工作观察统计出入侵我国农业生态系统的外来生物共计92科175属239种, 其中植物155种, 动物55种, 微生物29种, 植物多为有意引入后逸生, 而动物和微生物则主要是无意引入。外来入侵种发生数量呈现从南到北、从东到西逐渐减少的趋势。这些入侵种中, 来源于美洲的最多(占45.04%), 其次是欧洲(22.90%); 菜地(包括温室大棚)和果园入侵种最多, 分别达64.85%和66.53%, 而半年期的秋熟旱地和夏熟旱地分别占34.31%和23.85%。其中17种外来杂草、10种害虫、7种病原菌为恶性有害生物, 应作为防除的重点目标。目前农业生态系统外来入侵物种的控制以化学防治为主, 但由于长期施用化学农药, 在侵入我国农田的入侵种中, 已有51种在世界不同地区演化出抗药性生物型, 因而需重视生物防治、农业和生态防治以及检疫等的综合应用。今后外来种对农业生态系统的入侵格局、机制和趋势, 入侵途径以及生物入侵和抗药性生物型对农业生态系统中有害生物群落演替的影响、转基因作物导致的生物入侵等问题值得关注。 相似文献

Effects of fire intensity on plant species composition of sandstone communities in the Sydney region

Abstract Fire intensity measures the heat output of a fire, and variation in fire intensity has been shown to have many effects on the demography of plant species, although the consequent effects on the floristic composition of communities have rarely been quantified. The effects of variation in fire intensity on the floristic composition of dry sclerophyll vegetation with different fire histories near Sydney was estimated. In particular, differences in species abundance of woodland and shrubland communities subjected to four fire‐intensity classes: unburnt, low intensity (<500 kW m?1), medium intensity (500–2500 kW m?1) and high intensity (>2500 kW m?1) were examined. The samples had a standardized previous fire frequency and season, thus minimizing the effects of other aspects of the fire regime. There was a clear effect of fire intensity on the relative abundances of the vascular plant species, with increasing intensity of the fire producing vegetation that was increasingly different from the unburnt vegetation. This pattern was repeated in both the woodland and shrubland vegetation types, suggesting that it was not an artefact of the experimental conditions. However, the effects of fire intensity on floristic composition were no greater than were the differences between these two similar vegetation types, with variation in fire intensity accounting for only approximately 10% of the floristic variation. Nevertheless, the effects of fire intensity on the abundance of individual species were consistent across taxonomic groups, with the monocotyledon and Fabaceae species being more abundant at higher than lower intensities, the Proteaceae and Rutaceae more abundant at intermediate intensities, and the Epacridaceae more abundant at lower rather than higher intensities. The number of fire‐tolerant species increased with increasing fire intensity, and those fire‐tolerant species present were most abundant in the areas burnt with medium intensity. The number of fire‐sensitive species did not respond to fire intensity, and those species present were most abundant in the areas burnt with low intensity. This suggests that either fire‐sensitive species respond poorly to higher fire intensities or fire‐tolerant species respond poorly to lower fire intensities, perhaps because of differences in seed germination, seedling survival or competition among adults. 相似文献
