The goal of the research was to define experts opinion about adequate criteria for water polo players' actual quality evaluation and to determine experts opinion about weight coefficients (ponders) of the here defined criteria across the playing positions in the game of water polo. Based upon the expertise performed by ten water polo professionals, the relative importance coefficients with regard to playing positions in the game were determined for twenty seven performance evaluation criteria. High degree of interobserves' agreement was obtained regarding all positions (from 0.93 to 0.96). In concordance with the obtained results the particular playing positions were explicitly described, as well as the similarities and the differences between them were determined from the aspect of the single criteria importance. The research results could be usefully applied by the water polo practitioners for the selection and follow-up of players during training programme implementation, and for programming, control and evaluation of transformational effects.  相似文献

铁路建设工程中的路基修筑、隧道开凿、取土弃渣均会导致大量的水土流失,对铁路沿线生态环境造成不利影响。论文以广西黎钦铁路增建二线工程为例,通过水土流失影响指数评价模型来定量分析、评判该工程的水土流失影响程度。结果表明,该项目的水土流失影响指数值为0.11,不到全国铁路建设项目水土流失影响指数平均值的40%,这表明与新建铁路工程相比,增建二线工程造成的水土流失影响程度较小。其主要原因是工程占地(2.02hm2·km-1)和影响面积(0.28hm2·km-1)较小、工程总土石方量(3.86×104m3·km-1)和弃方量(0.28×104m3·km-1)较少、工程水土流失总量(211.61t·km-1)不大。通过缩短施工期和增加水土流失治理面积,可进一步减弱该工程的水土流失影响,更好地保护项目沿线的生态环境。  相似文献

PurposeThe purpose of the present study was to analyze the neuromuscular responses during the performance of a sit to stand [STS] task in water and on dry land.Scope10 healthy subjects, five males and five females were recruited for study. Surface electromyography sEMG was used for lower limb and trunk muscles maximal voluntarty contraction [MVC] and during the STS task.ResultsMuscle activity was significantly higher on dry land than in water normalized signals by MVC from the quadriceps-vastus medialis [17.3%], the quadriceps – rectus femoris [5.3%], the long head of the biceps femoris [5.5%], the tibialis anterior [13.9%], the gastrocnemius medialis [3.4%], the soleus [6.2%]. However, the muscle activity was higher in water for the rectus abdominis [?26.6%] and the erector spinae [?22.6%].ConclusionsThis study for the first time describes the neuromuscular responses in healthy subjects during the performance of the STS task in water. The differences in lower limb and trunk muscle activity should be considered when using the STS movement in aquatic rehabilitation.  相似文献

Analysis of EEG coherence performed in 60 healthy adult subjects revealed some changes in the spatial organization of cortical electrical activity produced by complication of the context of cognitive performance (increasing the working memory load). Changes in the degree of coherence of cortical potentials within the local areas were observed already at the stage of the "operative readiness" immediately after the instruction, i.e., representation of the cognitive task sequence in the explicit working memory. The observed changes were different in the anterior (decrease in the degree of coherence) and posterior (increase in coherence) areas of the cortex. Context-related increase in the local coherence was more pronounced in the temporal, parietal, and occipital areas of the left hemisphere than in the right hemisphere.  相似文献

This study investigated the effect of prolonged load carriage on lower limb muscle activity displayed by female recreational hikers. Electromyography (EMG) signals from vastus lateralis (VL), biceps femoris (BF), semitendinosus (ST), tibialis anterior (TA) and gastrocnemius (GM) were recorded for fifteen female hikers carrying four loads (0%, 20%, 30% and 40% body weight (BW)) over 8 km. Muscle burst duration, muscle burst onset relative to initial contact and integrated EMG signals (iEMG) were calculated to evaluate muscle activity, whereas the shift in mean power frequency (MPF) was used to evaluate muscle fatigue. Increased walking distance significantly decreased the MPF of TA; decreased the iEMG for VL, ST and GM; and shortened VL muscle burst duration. Furthermore, carrying 20–40% BW loads significantly increased VL and GM iEMG and increased BF muscle burst duration, whereas a 40% BW load caused a later VL muscle burst onset. The differences observed in muscle activity with increased load mass seem to be adjustments aimed at maintaining balance and attenuating the increased loads placed on the lower limbs during gait. Based on the changes in muscle activity, a backpack load limit of 30% BW may reduce the risk of lower limb injury for female hikers during prolonged walking.  相似文献

Free proline and chlorophyll contents, chlorophyllase, peroxidase and nitrate reductase activities were determined in maize seedlings grown under controlled conditions and submitted to water stress induced by 14 % PEG-4000 or NaCl (isotonic). All the parameters studied showed a significant response to the water stress, but the level of free proline and peroxidase activity together may preferentially be used for the diagnosis of osmotic stress or saline-osmotic stress.  相似文献

Hygienic and microbiological examinations of watercourses are usually not carried out during heavy rainfall and runoff events. After rainfall or snowmelt, there are often massive increases in turbidity in flooding creeks in mountain ranges, which are frequently interpreted as an indication of microbial contamination. The aim of this study was to quantify the microbial loads of watercourses during such runoff events and to compare these loads with loads occurring during regular conditions. In a 14-month monitoring period we investigated the microbial loads of three tributaries of different drinking water reservoirs. A total of 99 water samples were taken under different runoff conditions and analyzed to determine physical, chemical, bacterial, and parasitic parameters. Thirty-two water samples were considered event samples during nine measuring series. The criteria for events, based on duration and intensity of precipitation, water depth gauge measurements, and dynamics, had been fixed before the investigation for each creek individually. Of the physical and chemical parameters examined, only the turbidity, pH, and nitrate values differed clearly from the values obtained for regular samples. Most of the bacteriological parameters investigated (colony, Escherichia coli, coliform, fecal streptococcal, and Clostridium perfringens counts) increased considerably during extreme runoff events. If relevant sources of parasitic contamination occurred in catchment areas, the concentrations of Giardia and Cryptosporidium rose significantly during events. The results show that substantial shares of the total microbial loads in watercourses and in drinking water reservoirs result from rainfall and extreme runoff events. Consequently, regular samples are considered inadequate for representing the microbial contamination of watercourse systems. The procedures for raw water surveillance in the context of multiple-barrier protection and risk assessment ought to include sampling during extreme runoff situations.  相似文献

Summary This paper describes a newly developed technique to adjust and control the water activity in enzymatic reactions in organic media. A saturated salt solution of known water activity is circulated inside a silicone tube, submerged into the reaction medium. The circulating solution can both absorb and release water. EGF receptor acts through Ras and the MAPK cascade to trigger differentiation and maintain survival of most of cell types in the Drosophila retina. Cell types are specified sequentially by separate episodes of EGFR activity. All the cell types differentiate in G1 phase of the cell cycle. Before differentiating, many cells pass through the cell cycle in the "Second Mitotic Wave" in response to Notch activity, but no cell fates are specified during the Second Mitotic Wave. Eutrophication modifies lakes' ecological balances and threatens its viability. To date, eutrophication management strategies have been related to nutrient reduction in the lakes' water column. However, nutrient reduction strategies are complicated by the variations of the lake's water level, nutrient concentration, and eutrophication symptom, which are primarily known to be influenced by the local rainfall patterns. Therefore, this study aimed to compare the variability of water level, total phosphorus, and total chlorophyll-a concentrations in Slim River Lake during wet and dry seasons. In this study, water sampling and depth measurements were carried out from six sampling points for 1 year. Water samples were used to quantify total phosphorus and total chlorophyll-a. Our results showed that mean water levels in the studied lake ranged from 1.36 m to 5.46 m in the wet season and from 1.31 m to 5.41 m in the dry season, which implicated no significant difference (p > .05) between seasons in most sampling points. Total phosphorus present at concentrations exceeding 10 mg/L and showed small variations between wet and dry seasons. Mean total phosphorus concentrations varied from 10.55 mg/L to 26.66 mg/L in the wet season and 10.77 mg/L to 21.76 mg/L in the dry season and showed no significant difference between seasons. In addition, mean chlorophyll-a concentrations ranged from 14.35 mg/m3 to 180.13 mg/m3 and from 14.15 mg/m3 to 39.27 mg/m3 in wet and dry seasons, respectively. Chlorophyll-a concentrations showed significant differences (p < .05) between seasons in the deepest sampling points in the lake. The observed seasonal variations in total chlorophyll-a suggest the importance of algae monitoring during the wet season even when no apparent surge of phosphorus concentration is detected.  相似文献

The free proline and chlorophyll contents, and the chlorophyllase, peroxidase and nitrate-reductase activities were determined in sunflower seedlings grown under controlled conditions and submitted to water stress induced by 14 % polyethyleneglycolj (Mr = 4000) or isotonic NaCl solution. 采用基于多元自回归的瞬时EEG相干方法研究了十位汉英双语者执行Stroop任务时脑神经电活动及其功能皮层区的协同作用。结果显示:在β1(13-18Hz)频段,无论是汉语(第一语言,L1)还是英语(第二语言,L2)呈现的刺激,不一致条件的EEG相干值明显大于一致条件的EEG相干值,表明β1频段对刺激类型敏感;与L2相比,L1的Stroop任务中,额一顶区的相干值显著增强。EEG相干值反映了不同脑皮层间的相互作用强度。因此研究结果表明:判断和处理冲突信息(如Stroop的不一致条件)时脑功能皮层区之间的协同作用增强;相对于第二语言,第一语言处理过程中额一顶区之间的通信协作增加。  相似文献

Established tumour cell lines are ubiquitous tools in research, but their representativity is often debated. One possible caveat is that many cell lines are derived from cells with genomic instability, potentially leading to genotype changes in vitro. We applied SNP-array analysis to an established tumour cell line (WiT49). Even though WiT49 exhibited chromosome segregation errors in 30% of cell divisions, only a single chromosome segment exhibited a shift in copy number after 20 population doublings in culture. In contrast, sub-populations derived from single cells expanded for an equal number of population doublings showed on average 5.8 and 8.9 altered segments compared to the original culture and to each other, respectively. Most copy number variants differentiating these single cell clones corresponded to pre-existing variations in the original culture. Furthermore, no sub-clonal variation was detected in any of the populations derived from single cells. This indicates that genetic bottlenecks resulting from population reduction poses a higher threat to genetic representativity than prolonged culture per se, even in cell lines with a high rate of genomic instability. Genetic bottlenecks should therefore be considered a potential caveat in all studies involving sub-cloning, transfection and other conditions leading to a temporary reduction in cell number.  相似文献

The authors published their own experiences and results of Caelyx treatment based on 40 ovarian cancer patients treated in 9 different institutions. Patients had been treated with platinum based or platinum-taxol combination chemoterapy. Their average age was 57.2 years (35-80). The average time to progression was 3.8 months (1-8). The effects of the therapy were assessed on 36 patients and the results were 3 CR, 8 PR, 7 SD and 18 PD. Summarised the Caelyx therapy caused improvement in 30.55% of the patients and stabilisation in 19.44%. Supportive therapy was needed in 8 cases.  相似文献
