菊花叶片作为茶尺蠖饲料并用于其核型多角体病毒增殖的研究

本报道了以菊花叶片饲养茶尺蠖获得成功的试验结果．经连续三代饲养表明：以菊花叶片为饲料。幼虫取食量、蛹期、蛹重、成虫寿命、产卵置、种群特征参数与以茶树叶片为饲料的相比均无显性差异,但其幼虫历期延长1-2天．用它作饲料,饲养茶尺蠖增殖其核型多角体病毒,产量也不受显影响．故可用于茶尺蠖的大量饲养及其病毒的增殖．     

INVESTIGATION OF CHRYSANTHEMUM VIRUSES 1. ASPERMY FLOWER DISTORTION

Tomato aspermy virus alone distorted some chrysanthemum flowers, and aggravated symptoms produced by other chrysanthemum viruses. First-season infection affected only a proportion of the blooms; in subsequent seasons nearly all flowers showed symptoms with increased severity.     

菊花组织培养过程的光质效应初探

光质在菊花组织培养过程中具显著的生物学效应。试验中,绿色光可促进试管菊的生长,绿色、红色、兰色光还能部分解除~(60)Co—γ射线照射试管苗后所产生的抑制生长作用,红色光有利于花瓣愈伤组织的形成。菊花组织培养过程中的光质效应,尚与品种有关,表明品种间存在光质敏感性的差异。     

ANALYTICAL DIFFUSION OF INFLUENZA VIRUS AND MOUSE ENCEPHALOMYELITIS VIRUS

Analytical diffusion has been applied to a study of influenza A virus in mouse lung, influenza A virus in the extra-embryonic fluids of the chick, and mouse encephalomyelitis virus in mouse brain. The results from influenza in mouse lung suggested that about 99 per cent of the infectivity was present in particles 200 mµ in diameter, and 1 per cent in particles 6 mµ in diameter. The results from influenza in extra-embryonic fluids indicated that the preparation was inhomogeneous and that the smallest virus units were about 6 mµ in diameter. The results from mouse encephalomyelitis virus indicated that the preparation was also inhomogeneous, with 10 per cent of the infectivity in particles about 15 mµ in diameter. It has been suggested that in virus preparations normal colloidal particles can act as carriers of much smaller virus units.     

茼蒿的核型研究(摘要)

茼蒿染色体的数目2n=18,其核型公式2n=18=16m+2sm(SAT),茼蒿第1—6对,8—9对为中部着丝点染色体,第7对为近中着丝点并带有一对随体。
