The new species Squamarina scopulorum Haugan & Timdal (sect. Petroplaca ) is described from Norway. It differs from the sympatric and morphologically closely similar species S. magnussonii and S. pachylepidea mainly in the color of the apothecial disc and in the thallus chemistry. The delimitation of the genus Squamarina and the family Squamarinaceae are briefly discussed. 相似文献

The secondary metabolites of 150 specimens belonging to 29 species of Teloschistes were analysed with HPLC. Seven anthraquinones were detected of which parietin dominated with minor proportions of emodin, teloschistin, fallacinal and parietinic acid. The depsidones vicanicin, caloploicin, and isofulgidin occurred together with some compounds of unknown identity in varying proportions in T. flavicans, T. peruensis, T. stellatus, and one unnamed taxon. Nine chemosyndromes were found in the genus. Most species had only one chemosyndrome, but T. flavicans s. lat. had six syndromes. The geographical distribution patterns of these chemosyndromes in T. flavicans are discussed as well as the applicability of chemical characters for species delimitation in Teloschistes. 相似文献

Thirty‐three species of the lichen genus Heterodermia in South America, mainly from Ecuador and Peru, are defined. Morphology, anatomy, chemistry, habitat, distribution and interrelation between the species are discussed. A key to the treated species is presented. Five species are described as new; Heterodermia andina, H. arvidssonii, H. badia, H. fertilis and H. parva. One new combination is proposed; H. spinigera. The lichen genus Erioderma is shown to be particularly species-rich in Ecuador, especially in the upper cloud forest (3000–3400m). Altogether seventeen species are recorded of which the following are new: E. barbellatum, E. cyathophorum, E. divisum, E. gloriosum, E. papyraceum, E. pycnidiferum, E. sinuatum , most of which also occur in the neighbouring countries. The morphological study of the herbarium material representing Epistephium (Orchidaceae, Vanilloideae) led to the discovery of two groups of specimens that significantly differ from all known species of the genus. The results of literature data study and of comparative analysis of those and other specimens suggest that these collections represent new taxa that we describe as E. garayi and E. kubiyuense. The distinguishing features of the species are indicated. As both new species are reported from Colombia (E. garayi, also from Guyana), the key for the determination of all Colombian representatives of the genus is included. Information on the ecology and distribution of newly described taxa is presented. 相似文献
