The biogenic amines serotonin (5-HT), dopamine (DA), noradrenaline (NA), octopamine (OA) and the amino acid dihydroxyphenylalanine (DOPA) were identified and measured in the brain and the eyestalks of five decapod crustacean species using high pressure liquid chromatography (HPLC) with electrochemical detection. The amounts fall within 0.01-1.1 micrograms/g or 0.17-60 pmoles, and OA is the dominating amine in most species. THe DOPA levels in many of the species varied considerably between different measurements. It is concluded that the biogenic amines and DOPA are ubiquitous in the central nervous system of decapod crustaceans and the presence of NA and DOPA increases the number of presumed neurotransmitter/modulator candidates in the crustacean nervous system.  相似文献

The time course effects of pargyline on hypothalamic biogenic amines and serum prolactin (PRL), LH and TSH were studied in adult male rats. The rats were killed at intervals of 1–6 hrs after pargyline injection. Hypothalamic dopamine (DA) rose 79% by 1 hr and was 41% above “0” time by 6 hrs. Norepinephrine (NE) increased 31% by 1 hr and remained at about this level through 6 hrs, whereas serotonin (5HT) increased from 42% by 1 hr and to 95% by 6 hrs. Serum PRL LH and TSH fell significantly during the first 2 hrs, but all had returned to pretreatment values by 4 hrs. Serum PRL was about 4-fold above pretreatment values by 6 hrs, but LH and TSH remained at pretreatment levels. Stimulation by pargyline of PRL release was potentiated by Lilly compound 110140, a serotonin reuptake inhibitor, and blocked by parachlorophenylalanine, a serotonin synthesis inhibitor. These results suggest that the inhibitory effects of pargyline on PRL, LH, and TSH release during the first 2 hrs were associated mainly with a rapid increase in DA, and subsequent elevation of PRL release was related to the increase in 5HT. Return of serum LH and TSH to pretreatment levels at 4 and 6 hrs appeared to be associated mainly with the decrease in DA and perhaps to elevated NE levels. These results suggest that changes in relative concentrations of hypothalamic amines are related to differential release of PRL, LH and TSH.  相似文献

This study investigated the direct effect of catecholamines, epinephrine (EPI), and norepinephrine (NE) on basal and gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH)-stimulated secretion of luteinizing hormone (LH) from dispersed pig pituitary cells in vitro. Pig pituitaries were dispersed into cells with collagenase and DNAase and then cultured in McCoy's 5a medium containing horse serum (10%) and fetal calf serum (2.5%) pretreated with dextran-coated charcoal for 3 days. EPI and NE did not affect basal LH secretion after 4 h of incubation. When pituitary cells were incubated with EPI or NE (1 microgram/ml) for longer than 30 min, GnRH-stimulated LH secretion was reduced. The degree of this reduction was dependent on EPI and NE, and a concentration of EPI and NE higher than 1 ng/ml and 100 ng/ml, respectively, was needed. L-isoproterenol, a nonselective beta-agonist, also inhibited the LH response to GnRH. Propranolol, a beta-antagonist, blocked the inhibitory effect of EPI, whereas phentolamine, an alpha-antagonist, had no effect. These results suggest that catecholamines, acting by a beta 2-adrenergic receptor, may play a role in the control of the porcine pituitary gonadotrope's response to GnRH.  相似文献

In the present investigation, the responsiveness of rat thecal cells, prepared by means of an optimised discontinuous Percoll density gradient centrifugation procedure and cultured under serum-free cell culture conditions, to different concentrations of follitropin (FSH), basic fibroblast growth factor (FGF-2 or bFGF), and lutropin (LH) has been examined. The estradiol (E(2)) and progesterone (P(4)) contents of the cell culture medium were simultaneously determined with aliquots collected after different times of exposure to these regulatory proteins, either individually or in combination. The results confirm that no E(2) could be detected in the cell culture medium of the rat thecal cells prepared and cultured in this manner following all of these different treatments, and hence no contamination of the thecal cell preparations by granulosa cells was evident. The effects of FGF-2 and LH on the steroidogenic and cytodifferentiational properties of these rat thecal cells under serum-free cell culture procedures were also examined. The production of P(4) in the Percoll-purified rat thecal cell cultures receiving different treatments of FSH, and/or FGF-2 did not differ from the basal cell cultures, and no E(2) was detected from the same culture media. In contrast, LH (20 or 50 ng/ml) was found to enhance the production of P(4) (P<0.05) in the serum-free cell culture media. The stimulation of P(4) production was greater at higher LH concentration (50 ng/ml) (P<0.05). Concurrent treatment of LH (20 or 50 ng/ml) and FGF-2 (1-100 ng/ml) showed that FGF-2 inhibited the production of P(4) by LH-stimulated thecal cell cultures (P<0.05). The inhibition by FGF-2 was greater when LH was at a lower concentration (EC(50)<1 ng/ml at LH-20 ng/ml vs. EC(50)>1 ng/ml at LH-50 ng/ml). The results of the present study thus indicate that rat thecal cells isolated by this optimised Percoll density centrifugation procedure maintain a very high steroidogenic potential and specificity. Consistent with the absence of contaminating granulosa cells, these rat theca cell preparations do not respond to FSH treatment in terms of E(2) production. However, these rat theca cell preparations can be stimulated by LH to express their differentiated status in serum-free medium and respond to growth factors such as FGF-2.  相似文献

Investigations were carried out on the role of biogenic amines in the development of glomerulonephritis in rabbits using the experimental model of acute and chronic serum sickness. The animals immunized with foreign-species albumin received additionally 5HT and some of them were given reserpine or PCPA for reducing the level of biogenic amines. The results of histological examinations demonstrated a clear cut inhibitory effect of PCPA and reserpine on the development of inflammatory changes in the glomeruli, and their intensification with simultaneous 5HT administration. The obtained results seem to suggest a significant role of biogenic amines in the pathogenesis of inflammatory lesions developing in renal glomeruli in acute or chronic serum sickness in rabbits.  相似文献

Mature honeybees (Apis mellifera L.) old enough to forage (>3 weeks) were segregated into three activity groups: waggle dancers (active foragers), followers of the dancers (potential recruits) and resting bees (not involved in foraging). Dopamine (DA) pathways in the brain of honeybees seemed to be involved in regulation of forager recruitment. Brain DA and N-β-alanyldopamine (NBAD) levels in the dancers were always higher than in followers, and an increased number of dancers was observed after feeding the colony dihydroxy-phenylalanine (DOPA). Dopamine is hypothesized to modulate the neural activity in the calyx of the mushroom bodies related to recruitment behavior. No consistant effect of octopamine (OA) or serotonin (5HT) on recruitment behavior was observed. Levels of all biogenic amines were strongly effected by season and day-to-day whether changes. Some diurnal changes were also observed.  相似文献

Modulatory action of FSH on LH-induced follicular growth in rats   总被引:1,自引:0,他引:1
Three to four ovaries from rats on the day of di-oestrus I were placed in perifusion culture at 10:30 h and exposed to (1) no gonadotrophin (in-vitro controls); (2) tonic FSH (200 ng RP-1/ml); (3) tonic LH (30 ng RP-1/ml); (4) tonic FSH + tonic LH; or (5) tonic FSH plus hourly pulses of LH (amplitude = 50 ng/ml). The total amount of LH administered was 3060 ng RP-1 regardless of mode of delivery. After culture for 3 h, the ovaries were prepared for histological analysis. Compared to in-vitro controls, tonic LH stimulation increased the number of follicles with greater than 1.6 X 10(5) granulosa cells (P less than 0.05); it was estimated that each follicle in the larger size class increased by 5.5 +/- 2.7 X 10(4) cells. Tonic FSH or tonic FSH + tonic LH treatment did not promote growth into the 1.6 X 10(5) cell class. In the presence of tonic FSH, hourly LH pulses induced follicular growth similar to that observed after tonic LH treatment. The data demonstrate that LH promotes the growth of follicles in vitro. FSH modulates this stimulatory action of LH, allowing it to be expressed when LH is administered in hourly pulses.  相似文献

We examined changes in the content of biogenic amines in the brains of ant queen associated with early colony establishment. In ants, including Formica japonica, winged virgin queens lose their wings following copulation, and then start establishing a colony. Significant changes in brain biogenic amine content in the queen are associated with transition from winged virgin queen to wingless mated queen. The levels of serotonin (5HT), octopamine (OA) and dopamine (DA) decreased significantly in the brain of the queen after starting a colony. On the other hand, tyramine (TA) increased significantly in the brain following colony establishment. Catabolized substances of the biogenic amines in the brain were also measured. The levels of N-acetyloctopamine (Nac-OA) and N-acetyltyramine (Nac-TA) in the brain did not show a significant change after the queen established a colony. However, the levels of N-acetylserotonin (Nac-5HT) in the brain were significantly higher in wingless mated queens than in winged virgin queens, whereas levels of N-acetyldopamine (Nac-DA) in the brain were significantly lower in wingless mated queens than winged virgin queens. These results suggest that serotonergic and octopaminergic systems in the brain of the queen change when the mated queen starts to establish a new colony.  相似文献

In acute serum sickness induced with one intravenous dose of bovine serum albumin (BSA) in 40 rabbits the patterns of excretion of adrenaline (A), noradrenaline (NA), serotonin (5HT) and 5-hydroxyindole-acetic acid (5HIAA) were studied in 24-hour urine, and the 5HT level was determined at intervals of three days. The urinary levels of biogenic amines were determined daily. Some rabbits immunized with BSA received also additionally 5HT, reserpine or parachlorphenylalanine (PCPA). Administration of BSA to rabbits caused a significant increase in the excretion of A and NA and a less evident increase in 5HT level in the blood. The greatest correlation with the course of the immune reaction was shown by the increase in NA excretion observed on the 2nd and 3rd days after BSA administration, and then between the 5th and the 12th days of the experiment. Daily subcutaneous injections of 5HT during 15 days caused a significant rise of its level in the blood and urine, and an increase of 5HIAA excretion. After reserpine or PCPA administration a significant decrease of the levels of all these amines was observed. Taking into account the results of histological examination of the kidneys, that is intensification of the inflammatory changes after 5HT administration and evident inhibition of the inflammatory process after administration of reserpine and PCPA it must be accepted that the studied amines have an important role in the pathomechanism of glomerulonephritis in acute serum sickness.  相似文献

Hamster ovarian follicles at Stages 1 to 10 (Stages 1-4: follicles with 1-4 layers of granulosa cells (GC); Stages 5-7: 5-10 layers GC plus theca; Stages 8-10: antral follicles) were isolated on the morning of proestrus or estrus and incubated for 2 h in the absence or presence of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH), luteinizing hormone (LH), prolactin (Prl), progesterone (P4), 17 alpha-hydroxyprogesterone (17OHP), or androstenedione (A). Steroid accumulations in the media were measured by radioimmunoassay (RIA). On proestrus, without any hormonal stimulus, consistent accumulation of P4 through estradiol-17 beta (E2) occurred in low amounts only from Stage 6 and on; both FSH (5-25 ng) and LH (1-25 ng) significantly stimulated steroidogenesis by Stage 6-10 follicles, and the effects of FSH, except for Stage 10, were largely attributable to LH contamination. However, 25 ng FSH significantly stimulated A production by Stages 1-4, whereas 1-25 ng LH was ineffective. On estrus, follicles at all stages, especially 1-6, showed significant and dose-dependent increases in P4 production in response to FSH; both FSH and LH significantly stimulated P4 and 17OHP accumulation from Stage 5 onwards; however, there was no increase in A and E2 compared to controls. Even the smallest estrous follicles showed a shift to predominance of P4 accumulation. On proestrus, Prl had a negative influence on LH-induced accumulation of P4 and 17OHP by Stages 7-9 and 6-8, respectively, without affecting A or E2.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)  相似文献

The sodium-ion coupled transporters for 5-hydroxytryptamine (5HT), noradrenaline and dopamine function to reduce extracellular levels of biogenic amines. Over the past fifteen years selective inhibitors of these transport systems have been developed including fluoxetine, citalopram, paroxetine, litoxetine (for 5HT), nisoxetine, desipramine, maprotiline (for noradrenaline) and GBR-12935 (for dopamine). Some of these inhibitors, including drugs selective for noradrenaline transport and particularly those selective for the 5HT transport system are currently widely used in the clinical management of affective disorders. Selective biogenic amine uptake inhibitors have, in addition, provided tools to undertake molecular pharmacological and biochemical studies of their respective transporters. By this means, the rat brain 5HT and dopamine transporters have been identified as polypeptides with relative molecular masses of 73,000 and 80,000, respectively, using affinity-chromatographic purification and photoaffinity-labelling techniques. Recently, the biogenic amine transporters have been cloned and a comparison of their predicted amino acid sequences reveals that these proteins share a considerable degree of similarity with notably 12-13 transmembrane spanning domains. Perspectives for future fundamental and clinical research on biogenic amine transport systems using molecular biological techniques are discussed.  相似文献

Several modifications of an HPLC—electrochemical assay method for plasma levels of norepinephrine (NE), epinephrine (EPI), dopamine (DA), dihydroxyphenylglycol (DHPG), dihydroxyphenylalanine (DOPA) and dihydroxyphenylacetic acid (DOPAC) that improve the accuracy and reliability of DHPG, DOPA, and DOPAC measurements are described. In batch alumina extractions, increasing the amount of alumina decreased analytical recoveries of DHPG, DOPA, and especially DOPAC, and increasing the strength of the eluting acid increased recoveries of these catechols, without affecting recoveries of the amines NE, EPI and DA. Refrigeration (4°C) until injection stabilized DOPAC in aqueous solution and therefore improved the reproducibility of plasma DOPAC measurements. Circulation of chilled water (15°C) around the column using a water jacket decreased variability in retention times of the catechols and thereby facilitated identification of peaks, while enhancing separation of DHPG from the solvent front. Use of 6-fluoro-DOPA and 6-fluoro-DOPAC as internal standards did not improve inter-assay reliability. We recommend that in assays of plasma catechols including DOPAC, small (5 mg), precisely measured amounts of alumina be used, with a relatively strong eluting solution (e.g. 0.04 M phosphoric acid—0.2 M acetic acid, 20:80, v/v), and that the samples be refrigerated until injection, with column temperature held constant at less than 20°C.  相似文献

The potential role of selected biogenic monoamines and related compounds in the reproductive physiology of the freshwater snail Biomphalaria glabrata was investigated. Extracts of the albumen gland (AG), plasma, and central nervous system (CNS) were subjected to high pressure liquid chromatography with electrochemical detection (HPLC-ED), and under the extraction and separation conditions employed the following amines were detected: tyrosine, dihydroxyphenylalanine (DOPA), dopamine, and tryptophan in the AG; DOPA, tyrosine, and tryptophan in the plasma; DOPA, tyrosine, dopamine and 5-hydroxytryptamine in the CNS. These compounds were then quantified in individual samples taken from snails known to be in a particular stage of the egg-laying process. AG dopamine levels were highest in snails in the first stage of the reproductive process, when the AG is secreting perivitelline fluid around each fertilized ovum. Significant decreases in AG protein content during the later stages of the egg-laying process were also evident. Plasma tyrosine and DOPA levels were lowest in snails that contained a fully packaged egg mass, while no changes in monoamine content were observed in the CNS. These data provide insights into the role(s) that monoamines, especially catecholamine-related compounds, may play in B. glabrata reproductive physiology.  相似文献

In conscious animals, handling and immobilization increase plasma levels of the catecholamines norepinephrine (NE) and epinephrine (EPI). This study examined plasma concentrations of endogenous compounds related to catecholamine synthesis and metabolism during and after exposure to these stressors in conscious rats. Plasma levels of 3,4-dihydroxyphenylalanine (DOPA), NE, EPI, and dopamine (DA), the deaminated catechol metabolites 3,4-dihydroxyphenylglycol (DHPG), and 3,4-dihydroxyphenylacetic acid (DOPAC), and their O-methylated derivatives methoxyhydroxyphenylglycol (MHPG) and homovanillic acid (HVA) were measured using liquid chromatography with electrochemical detection at 1, 3, 5, 20, 60, and 120 min of immobilization. By 1 min of immobilization, plasma NE and EPI levels had already reached peak values, and plasma levels of DOPA, DHPG, DOPAC, and MHPG were increased significantly from baseline, whereas plasma DA and HVA levels were unchanged. During the remainder of the immobilization period, the increased levels of DOPA, NE, and EPI were maintained, whereas levels of the metabolites progressively increased. In animals immobilized briefly (5 min), elevated concentrations of the metabolites persisted after release from the restraint, whereas DOPA and catecholamine levels returned to baseline. Gentle handling for 1 min also significantly increased plasma levels of DOPA, NE, EPI, and the NE metabolites DHPG and MHPG, without increasing levels of DA or HVA. The results show that in conscious rats, immobilization or even gentle handling rapidly increases plasma levels of catecholamines, the catecholamine precursor DOPA, and metabolites of NE and DA, indicating rapid increases in the synthesis, release, reuptake, and metabolism of catecholamines.  相似文献

The effects of chronic sub-lethal doses (7-14 mg kg-1 a day for 15 days) of quinalphos were evaluated in adult male rats for changes in testicular morphology, circulatory concentrations of hormones (LH, FSH, prolactin and testosterone), activities of acetylcholinesterase (AChE) and angiotensin converting enzyme (ACE) as well as metabolism of biogenic amines (dopamine, noradrenaline and 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT)) in the hypothalamus and pituitary. Hormones were assayed by radioimmunoassay or chemiluminescent immunoassay (testosterone). The enzymes were estimated after spectrophotometry and the biogenic amines by HPLC-electrochemistry. Sub-lethal chronic administration of quinalphos resulted in: decreased testicular mass and AChE activity in central as well as peripheral organs; increased serum LH, FSH, prolactin and testosterone concentrations; decreased pituitary or increased testicular ACE activity; severe disruption of spermatogenesis with increasing doses of pesticide; and no significant effects on dopamine, noradrenaline or 5-HT concentrations in the hypothalamus or pituitary. Administration of oestradiol (50 micrograms per rat a day) during pesticide treatment resulted in: a significant decrease in the mass of the testis and accessory sex organs; decreases in serum LH, FSH, testosterone concentrations; an increase in prolactin concentration; and a decrease in dopamine or an increase in noradrenaline and 5-HT in the hypothalamus or pituitary. Oestradiol had a marked effect: in pesticide-treated animals, the pesticide effects were significantly reversed. This indicates that in pesticide toxicity, the hypothalamo-pituitary-gonadal axis is operational. Since many of the observed pesticide effects could be inhibited by oestradiol, it is suggested that the pesticide acts directly on the gonadotrophins. In conclusion, quinalphos decreases fertility in adult male rats by affecting the pituitary gonadotrophins.  相似文献

Nest deprivation of incubating turkeys caused a decrease in serum prolactin (Prl) levels from 1184.5 +/- 116.4 ng/ml to 896.8 +/- 83.0 ng/ml 1 day after initiation of deprivation, with a further decline to 156.5 +/- 111.7 ng/ml at the end of the 22-day experimental period. Serum luteinizing hormone (LH), progesterone and estradiol levels following nest deprivation were similar to those in birds allowed to incubate (controls). Oral administration of p-chlorophenylalanine (PCPA, 50 mg/kg) to incubating turkeys for 3 consecutive days reduced nesting frequency (P less than 0.05) on the 4th day after initiation of treatment and the nesting virtually ceased by the 9th day. Pretreatment Prl was 1655 +/- 210 ng/ml and declined (P less than 0.05) after PCPA administration to a low of 28.6 +/- 2.8 ng/ml. In addition, PCPA caused a sustained rise in serum LH peaking (5.59 +/- 1.09 ng/ml) 3 days after treatment initiation. Contrary to nest deprivation, serum levels of progesterone and estradiol increased (P less than 0.05) as a consequence of PCPA treatment. Seven of 8 PCPA-treated birds later came into lay when their Prl levels and nesting frequency increased again. The results suggest a role for serotonin (5-HT) in incubation behavior, and Prl and LH secretion in turkeys.  相似文献

The following biogenic amines (BA) and BA metabolites were identified via HPLC in homogenates prepared from adults of Trichostrongylus colubriformis (Nematoda) recovered from the intestines of goats: N-acetyldopamine, DOPA, dopamine, epinephrine, epinine, 5-hydroxyindoleacetic acid, 4-hydroxy-3-methoxy-phenylglycol, 3-(p-hydroxyphenyl) proprionic acid, metanephrine, O-methyl-DOPA, 3-methoxytyramine, norepinephrine, normetanephrine, octopamine, p-hydroxymandelic acid, serotonin, synephrine, tyramine and vanillylmandelic acid. The mean concentrations of these compounds in groups of worms collected from different goats did not differ significantly with sex, but between the groups variance was high with probable components of both host and nematode origin.  相似文献

Oestrous cycles of goats were synchronized hormonally. Immunoreactive oxytocin was undetectable (less than 0.1 ng/mg protein) in media from granulosa cells isolated before the LH surge for small (1-2 mm), medium (3-5 mm) and large (greater than 5 mm diameter) follicles when cultured for 24 h without or with added hormones. Granulosa cells from large and medium, but not small, follicles isolated 6-12 h after spontaneous preovulatory LH surges secreted high concentrations of oxytocin (4-12 ng/mg protein). Addition of PGE-2 (1 microgram/ml) caused a further significant (P less than 0.05) increase in oxytocin secretion by cultured granulosa cells, whereas PGF-2 alpha, FSH and LH were ineffective when added to culture media. Ovarian venous blood and granulosa cells were collected at 0, 6, 12 or 18 h after GnRH injection in hormonally synchronized goats. Peripheral serum LH values were increased significantly in all but 2 of 22 goats within 2 h of GnRH injection. At the earliest sampling time after GnRH (6 h), ovarian venous levels of oxytocin were increased significantly from basal levels of 0.4 pg/ml to 2.4 pg/ml. Oxytocin concentrations in follicular fluid increased from a basal value of 67 pg/ml to 155 pg/ml by 6 h and to 372 pg/ml by 18 h after GnRH injection. Oxytocin secretion by cultured granulosa cells was not increased significantly by 6 h (0.1 ng/mg protein) but rose to 1.4 and 3.5 ng/mg protein at 12 and 18 h, respectively. Approximately parallel increases occurred in progesterone in ovarian venous blood and granulosa cell culture media over the same time period. (ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)  相似文献

The response of rainbow trout (Salmo gairdneri Richardson) to sublethal levels of sodium pentachlorophenate (NaPCP) was determined by measuring brain concentrations of the amines dopamine (DA), norepinephrine (NE), 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) and the free amino acid tryptophan (TP) using high performance liquid chromatography with electrochemical detection. Sodium pentachlorophenate had no major effect on the concentrations of the biogenic amines. Mean control concentrations (ng g−1 brain, S.E.) were: DA, 146.2, 9.9; NE, 205.8, 16.6; and 5-HT, 110.5, 8.8. There was a significant dose-dependent increase in TP concentration. Fish exposed to 200ng I−1 NaPCP showed a 128% increase in TP level relative to the mean control concentration of 1980 (50) ng g−1 brain. The effects of diets varying in lipid and carbohydrate content, anaesthetization with tricaine methanesulphonate or 2-phenoxyethanol, and electroshock were also investigated. No differences between treatment groups were detected.  相似文献

Immature pregnant mare's serum gonadotropin-treated rats were hypophysectomized on the day of ovulation (Day 1 of luteal function), and luteal steroidogenesis and human chorionic gonadotropin (hCG) and prolactin (Prl) binding sites were determined on Days 5, 10, 20 and 30 (H5- H30 ) compared with intact rats on Days 5 or 10 (C5 or C10). On H5, dispersed luteal cells secreted large amounts of progesterone (P), 20 alpha-dihydroprogesterone (20 alpha-DHP), 17 alpha-hydroxyprogesterone (17 alpha-OHP), and small amounts of testosterone (T) and estradiol-17 beta (E2), but between H10 and H30 , reduced levels of all steroids were produced except for 20 alpha-DHP. Addition of large amount of pregnenolone (P5) or P (100-1000 ng) to dispersed luteal cells increased production of P and 20 alpha-DHP in C5 and H5 rats. The higher serum levels and basal in vitro production of 20 alpha-DHP from H5 to H30 indicates that 20 alpha-oxidoreductase persists in the corpora lutea (CL) at high levels and that 3 beta-ol-dehydrogenase is also present but with P rapidly shunted into its principal metabolite. From H5 to H30 , addition of 10 ng P to luteal cells increased the production of 17 alpha-OHP and addition of 10 ng androstenedione (A) or T enhanced production of T and E2, indicating that 17 alpha-oxidoreductase, 17 beta-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase and aromatase also persist in the CL. In vitro addition of 10 ng LH significantly stimulated production of P from luteal cells on C5 and H5, whereas on C10 and H10, 100 ng LH was required and on H20 and H30 , 1 microgram LH produced a minimal increase in P.(ABSTRACT TRUNCATED AT 250 WORDS)  相似文献
