寄生性和捕食性天敌昆虫成虫普遍存在通过取食蜜粉源植物补充营养的行为,这可不同程度地促进天敌昆虫性成熟、延长其寿命、提高其生殖力或寄生率,以及搜寻寄主效率和子代雌性比率,从而显著提高天敌昆虫在生物防治中的控害能力和效果。蜜粉源植物花的结构及植物对天敌昆虫产生的嗅觉、视觉信号和花蜜花粉对天敌昆虫产生的味觉信号又显著影响天敌昆虫选择蜜粉源植物的行为和结果。但是,蜜粉源植物也可成为害虫的补充营养植物,从而提高害虫的为害能力。因此,需深入研究不同蜜粉源植物对天敌昆虫及害虫的作用,趋利避害,才可能应用蜜粉源植物成功调控天敌与害虫的益害比,实现害虫的可持续控制。  相似文献

为延长枸杞鲜果的贮存时间,开发专用植物源保鲜剂,采用浸泡法初步研究18种植物提取物对枸杞鲜果的保鲜作用。结果表明,荷叶乙醇提取物和柠檬油对枸杞鲜果具有较好的保鲜活性,在1 g/L和1 mL/L剂量时,处理5 d后好果率分别为78.64%和72.22%,质量损失率分别为7.68%和8.13%,显著优于标准药剂1-甲基环丙烯(1-MCP 0.25 μL/L,P<0.05);其次为肉桂油、丁香叶油、香紫苏油、卡楠加油、丹参提取物和知母提取物,好果率均在50%以上;最佳使用剂量筛选表明,荷叶乙醇提取物和柠檬油二者分别在2 g/L和400 μL/L时对枸杞鲜果的保鲜效果最好,处理5 d后枸杞鲜果好果率均在80%以上,显著优于1-MCP(0.25 μL/L)处理。可见荷叶提取物和柠檬油对枸杞鲜果具有较好的保鲜活性,值得进一步研究。  相似文献

应用干扰作用控制指数(the interference index of population control,IIPC)评价了3种异源植物次生物质对褐稻虱种群控制的干扰作用.结果表明,非嗜食植物薇甘菊、飞机草(浓度均为0.01 gDW/mL)和苦楝油(200倍)对褐稻虱种群的增长起着明显的干扰作用,其中对成虫产卵驱避的IIPC分别为0.4383、0.4308、0.4795,对褐稻虱种群的防治效果可达73.89%、76.07%和81.34%.其作用主要表现为对成虫的产卵驱避,对若虫的毒杀作用较弱,对褐稻虱种群的IIPC分别为0.2611、0.2393和0.1966;此外表明对褐稻虱种群的寄生性天敌安全.  相似文献

Early-season insect pests of cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.) crops, including Lepidoptera larvae and mirids, feed on vegetative buds. The loss of vegetative buds transiently delays the plant's development and growth and has the potential to reduce its competitive ability. Yield reductions due to weed interference and insect damage, therefore, could be greater than expected from the additive effects of weeds and damage acting separately. Three varieties, two levels of weed infestation, and two levels of simulated damage were combined in a factorial experiment designed to assess the responses of cotton plants to the combined effects of damage and weeds. Weed treatments were: with (+W) and without weeds (-W), and damage treatments included: undamaged control (-D) and damaged plants (+D) which had their active vegetative buds removed at 30 and 49 days after sowing. Variety and interactions between variety and other factors were normally nonsignificant for all the response variables measured in this experiment. Cotton height, width, production of flowerbuds and production of fruit were all affected by both damage and weeds. While the effects of damage on these growth variables were transient, the effects of weeds normally increased with time throughout the season. Non-additive effects of weeds and damage were minor for plant height and width, and large for flowerbud and fruit production. At maturity, weed dry matter ranged from about 20 g m-2 (-W treatments) to 300 gm-2 (+W), cotton dry matter from 144 gm (+W+D) to 945 gm-2 (-W-D), and seed cotton production from 54gm-2 (+W+D) to 417 gnT-2 (-W+D). Damage did not affect vegetative dry matter and marginally increased seed production in -W plots. Non-additive effects of weeds and damage were negligible for vegetative dry matter but highly significant for seed production (P < 0.0001). These contrasting responses of vegetative and reproductive growth are in agreement with neighbouring models of plant competitive interactions that emphasise the effects of neighbour interference on the fecundity of target plants that are not mediated by changes in target-plant size.  相似文献

Groundnut can take up more phosphorus (P) from a low P soil that hardly contains plant available iron-bound P (Fe-P) as its major P form than other crops. This is considered to be caused by the presence of substances in the root cell wall (CW) that are able to solubilize P. A method for extraction of these phosphorus solubilizing active substances (PSAS) from the root CW of groundnut is described in this paper. Acid, alkaline and water extractants were used, but only a treatment with 1 M NaOH at 80 °C for 24 h was found to be appropriate to extract the PSAS from the root CW. The characteristics of the CW and the extracted CW components were compared. The P solubilizing activity of both decreased sharply after addition of Fe3+, whereas Ca2+ and Mg2+ had no effect. This similarity in chemical characteristics suggested that we had successfully extracted the active substances in the CW. Phosphorus-solubilizing compounds were also extracted from the root CW of other crops like soybean, pigeon pea and maize, but these other crops contained less PSAS than groundnut. Using gel permeation and anion exchange column chromatography, the CW components were purified for HPLC analysis. The HPLC analyses indicated that two common retention times for the active substances existed for all four crops. The significance of the root CW in plant P nutrition is discussed.  相似文献

【目的】分离纯化吸水链霉菌(Streptomyces hygroscopicus)BS-112产生的抗真菌活性物质,究明各活性组分的结构,测定其对黄曲霉的抑制作用,为该菌株及其产生的抗真菌活性物质的应用提供依据。【方法】通过大孔吸附树脂柱层析、硅胶柱层析及制备HPLC等方法,对该菌株产生的抗真菌活性物质进行分离纯化;利用质谱(MS)和核磁共振谱(NMR)解析各活性组分的结构;采用微量液体稀释法测定各活性组分对黄曲霉的最小抑菌浓度(MIC)和最小杀菌浓度(MFC)。【结果】从BS-112菌株发酵液中分离获得4个抗真菌活性组分,利用波谱技术确定其结构分别为Tetrins A和B、Tetramycins A和B。96孔板法测得这4个化合物对黄曲霉的MIC分别为3.13μg/mL、12.56μg/mL、1.56μg/mL、6.25μg/mL,MFC分别为6.25μg/mL、25.0μg/mL、3.13μg/mL、12.56μg/mL。【结论】BS-112菌株产生的抗真菌活性物质由Tetrins A和B、Ttramycins A和B 4个化合物组成,它们对黄曲霉均具有良好的抑制作用。  相似文献

This was the first study to have surveyed the spatial and temporal structure of Apocrita wasps in lowbush blueberry fields, a unique native agricultural landscape in Maine and eastern Canada. The relative abundances of wasps associated with lowbush blueberry (Vaccinium angustifolium Ait.) were investigated in 33 blueberry fields throughout Washington County, Maine, USA. Native wasps were captured during the springs and summers of 1997 and 1998 in Malaise traps erected along a transect in each field. Vegetation sampling was also conducted along these transects to quantify available floral resources. Data indicate the abundance of the total wasp community was positively associated with the abundance of sheep laurel (Kalmia angustifolia L.). Relationships between trap capture of 13 wasp morphospecies and other flowering weeds were also investigated. Most taxa in 1998 were positively associated with one or more of the following flowering plants: bunchberry (Cornus canadensis L.), bush honeysuckle (Diervilla lonicera P. Mill.), dogbane (Apocynum androsaemifolium L.), sheep laurel, and witherod (Viburnum nudum var. cassinoides L.). Similar results were not evident in 1997 because the method used to sample vegetation was not as extensive as that used in 1998. However, sheep laurel was positively associated with the wasp genera Microplitis spp. and Phanerotoma spp. during both years.  相似文献

RNA interference is an exciting field of functional genomics that can silence viral genes. This property of interfering RNA can be used to combat viral diseases of plants as well as animals and humans. It is a short sequence of nucleic acid that can bind to the mRNA of the gene and interferes the process of its expression. It is diverse in occurrence as well as in applications. It occurs from nematodes to fungi and can cause gene silencing in plants, animals and human beings. Small interfering RNAs are used to silence plant viral genes and in production of therapeutic drugs against Hepatitis or Immuno-deficiency viruses in human. In this review, we will discuss the history, mechanism and applications of RNA interference in plant, animal and human research.  相似文献

Regeneration of peach plants from callus derived from immature embryos   总被引:9,自引:0,他引:9  
Summary Peach plants were repeatedly regenerated from immature embryos but not from callus derived from mature embryos. A white, nodular, highly regenerative callus was obtained when friable, primary callus from immature embryos was transferred from medium containing 4.5 M 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid and 0.44 M benzyladenine (BA) to media containing 0.27 M -naphthaleneacetic acid (NAA) and 2.2 M BA. This callus retained its morphogenetic potential for a minimum of three subcultures. Green nodular callus, that lacked regenerative capacity, was produced from primary callus derived from mature embryos. Maximum regeneration of shoots occurred when highly regenerative callus was transferred to a medium in which the NAA concentration was reduced five times and the BA concentration was increased two times. Regenerated shoots were rooted in the dark on a medium containing 28.5 M indoleacetic acid. Cytogenetic analysis of regenerated plants indicated that all plants were diploid, 2n = 2x = 16. Phenotypic evaluation of regenerated plants, grown under field conditions, is now in progress.  相似文献

Within a population of rubber rabbitbrush, Chrysothamnus nauseosus, the subspecies C. nauseosus consimilis and C. nauseosus hololeucus, and a third unidentified group were better segregated by their insect galls, than by differences in plant morphology. This level of segregation was further increased when morphological measurements and counts of insect galls were analyzed simultaneously. We interpret this result to mean that plant morphology and insect distributions reflect two different, perhaps overlapping, portions of the host's genome. By using both sets of characters concurrently, rather than either set independently, we increased the portion of the plant's genome being sampled and increased the probability of detecting differences among host genotypes. Hence, knowledge of the distributions of insect galls may be useful for augmenting the level of separation, obtained by morphological measurements, among intrapopulational categories of plant genotypes. This application may be of greatest benefit when hybridization blurs morphological distinctions among plant taxa, when morphological traits are highly variable within genotypes, or when ephemeral morphological traits (e.g., leaves, flowers) are not available for measurements.  相似文献
