以线上线下混合式"金课"建设为目标,全力建设锦州医科大学食品工程原理课程线上线下混合式教学模式。通过建设,本课程对教学内容进行了科学的线上线下混合教学设计,更新完善了更多的教学资源,包括课前教学视频、问题反馈机制以及课堂学习活动和课外作业、辅助学习资源建设等。设计和实施符合线上线下混合课程的评价考核方式,丰富了见面课设计与实施。《食品工程原理》课程通过建设线上线下混合教学模式,突出学生为课程中心的建设理念,使得学生的食品工程能力素养得到了充分的挖掘和提高。  相似文献

线上线下混合式教学模式是线上和线下教学两者优势相结合的新型教学模式,可以满足“互联网+”时代和新时期高校本科教学改革的新需求。江南大学“环境工程微生物学”课程基于前期成功建设在线课程的基础上,连续3年实施了面向深度学习的线上线下混合式教学与翻转课堂的探索与实践。探索实践结果表明,该教学模式中课程内容重构、教学资源建设、多种教学方式融合和考核方式改革对培养学生自主学习、分析解决问题、团队合作、沟通交流能力和国际视野有积极作用,并取得了显著效果。本文也对该课程线上线下混合式教学和翻转课堂的探索与实践进行了总结和思考,为高校环境科学与工程类专业课程教学模式改革提供参考。  相似文献

以高校同步在线翻转课堂为基础的微生物实验课程改革为研究对象,将现有微生物实验课程内容整合为研究型实验模块,利用同步在线+翻转课堂教学模式,引导学生开展微生物实验自主探究式学习,通过三年4个学期8个班级248名学生的教学实践,发现采用新教学模式的学生对各实验模块教学打分较好。学生对翻转课堂教学方式非常认同(56%),微课、探究实验、课堂演示实验、雨课堂等教学方式认同度显著高于其他教学方式,学生对微生物实验兴趣提高,实验操作熟练程度进步。利用翻转课堂+线上实验教学方式提高学生设计实验项目能力,增强高校大学生的创新意识。  相似文献

为了提升混合式教学质量,教育部提出建设6 000门线上线下混合式"金课"。翻转课堂是衔接线上线下混合式教学的重要纽带,它颠覆了传统课堂教学中"老师讲→学生听"的模式,体现了以"学生为中心"的教学理念。根据"金课"建设标准,生物化学混合式教学通过重新建构翻转课堂教学模式,综合设计与分层教学,努力解决生物化学课程教学中的短板、瓶颈、关键问题,真正提升学生自主建构意识和信息处理能力,让学生在思辨与探讨中深度学习,建构适合自己的更完善的专业知识框架。  相似文献

“蛋白质工程”是山西省一流本科专业建设点生物技术专业的核心必修课程。为了解决“蛋白质工程”课堂教学模式单一、传授式教学学生参与度不够、听课不认真、授课时间缩短、实验价格昂贵等问题,课程团队进行了“蛋白质工程”课程教学模式改革与实践,提出了适合生物技术专业的“蛋白质工程”教学新策略:构建了基于BOPPPS+翻转课堂的教学模式,线下课堂讲授与学生在线自主学习与完成作业、章节测验和讨论等相结合,全面融入翻转课堂;特别是在“金课”两性一度标准的指导下,课程团队自建慕课(massive open online courses,MOOC)课程资源,利用超星泛雅网络教学平台开展BOPPPS+翻转课堂的“蛋白质工程”线上线下混合式教学工作,构建了全面、系统及动态的“蛋白质工程”课程新教学体系。经过3轮的教学实践表明,课程团队在“蛋白质工程”课程资源建设、探究性实验辅导、课堂研讨设计,以及课程成绩评定方式等方面形成了一套完整、可复制、科学、合理的线上线下混合式教学模式。基于BOPPPS+翻转课堂的“蛋白质工程”线上线下混合式教学模式有助于提高学生的自主学习能力,使学生深度参与到教学的全过程,对“蛋白质工程”有了全面深刻的认识,提高了“蛋白质工程”的教学质量,为后续学生学习其他专业课程奠定了基础,也为课程教学改革提供了参考。  相似文献

Online educational videos have the potential to enhance undergraduate biology learning, for example by showcasing contemporary scientific research and providing content coverage. Here, we describe the integration of nine videos into a large‐enrollment (n = 356) introductory evolution and ecology course via weekly homework assignments. We predicted that videos that feature research stories from contemporary scientists could reinforce topics introduced in lecture and provide students with novel insights into the nature of scientific research. Using qualitative analysis of open‐ended written feedback from the students on each video assigned throughout the term (n = 133–229 responses per video) and on end‐of‐quarter evaluations (n = 243), we identified common categories of student perspectives. All videos received more positive than negative comments and all videos received comments indicating that students found them intellectually and emotionally stimulating, accessible, and relevant to course content. Additionally, all videos also received comments indicating some students found them intellectually unstimulating, though these comments were generally far less numerous than positive comments. Students responded positively to videos that incorporated at least one of the following: documentary‐style filming, very clear links to course content (especially hands‐on activities completed by the students), relevance to recent world events, clarity on difficult topics, and/or charismatic narrators or species. We discuss opportunities and challenges for the use of online educational videos in teaching ecology and evolution, and we provide guidelines instructors can use to integrate them into their courses.  相似文献

BackgroundPhysicians with a large number of reviews and a high rating may be employing reputation management strategies. Specialists may be more likely than non-specialists to employ such strategies. This should be apparent in a study of online physician reviews on physician rating websites (PRW).MethodsUsing one physician rating website, we gathered orthopedic surgeon and family physician reviews. We measured Spearman correlations between the number of reviews and average numerical rating and used chi-squared to test threshold relationships.ResultsThere were very small negative Spear-man correlations between the number of online reviews and the average numerical rating for orthopedic surgeons (p= -0.097, p-value=<0.001) family medicine physicians (p= -0.170, p-value=<0.001; Figure 2). Physicians with more than 100 reviews had a greater average numerical rating than physicians with fewer than 50 reviews. Orthopedic surgeons are more likely than family medicine physicians to have a large number of reviews and average numerical rating greater than 3.Open in a separate windowFigure 2.Family medicine physicians average rating plotted against number of reviews.ConclusionThe small fraction of physician with a high number of reviews may be utilizing reputation management strategies, and this seems relatively specific to specialists rather than non-specialists. The challenges facing higher education in response to COVID‐19 are significant and possibly none more so than in ecology and aligned disciplines. Not only did most ecology lecturers have to rush lectures and tutorials online, but also laboratory and field classes. We reflect on our experience of this move and also consider those of 30 other ecology‐aligned teaching academics to summarize the challenges faced in the move online early in 2020 and the developing plans for adapting ecology teaching and learning going into the 2020/21 academic year. The move online had the most significant impact on field classes, with more of these canceled than lectures or laboratory classes. Most respondents to an online poll also highlighted that many respondents (~45%) felt that ecology was more impacted by COVID‐19 that even other STEM disciplines. The availability of technological solutions is key to moving forward and will hopefully enhance the teaching and learning experience for many beyond the current crisis.  相似文献

To identify implicit causes of companion rabbit relinquishment, this study investigated whether there was annual and seasonal variation in the number of advertisements and ages of rabbits posted as free or for sale on classified websites in the United Kingdom. The number of advertisements posted decreased from 2014 to 2016. There was an increase in the number of advertisements for free rabbits in winter compared with other seasons, which could be a result of caregivers’ reduced willingness to interact with their rabbits and carry out husbandry during periods of inclement weather. Rabbits advertised as free were older than rabbits advertised for sale, and rabbits relinquished due to human-related reasons were older than those relinquished because of rabbit-related factors. It is recommended that further research is undertaken to elucidate whether providing education to prospective rabbit caregivers regarding the life span of rabbits and their substantial husbandry requirements, especially in winter, would deter the purchase of rabbits by caregivers unable or unwilling to care for them in the long term.  相似文献

Abstract

This article contributes to recent scholarship on the changing nature of fieldwork practices within migration research, focusing on the practice of online ethnography. It makes a case for the significance of the internet and, more specifically, social network sites, in the experience of many migrants. I state that online togetherness is an integral part of the lives of many migrants which also interrelates with ‘offline’ aspects of their social lives. Therefore, I argue that current research on migration would benefit from a more balanced combination of offline and online ethnography, taking into account how online connectivity affects the nature of migration and the conditions of being a migrant. Methodologically, I suggest that ethnography is well suited for generating understandings of the significance of the internet in the experience of migrants, but that a number of adjustments in methods of data collection and analysis must be made.  相似文献

The microbial activity of aerobic heterotrophic, anoxic heterotrophic and aerobic autotrophic microorganisms in biological wastewater treatment was determined by means of an electrochemical bioactivity sensor. The development of the sensor resulted in a system which can determine the microbial activities that are relevant for effective wastewater treatment. The signals of the sensor system are proportional to the substrate degradation and it can show inhibiting effects on the biomass. The most important advantages of the system are: it is independent of O2 consumption, the three most important types of metabolic activities in wastewater technology can be measured with one sensor, furthermore the measurement is suitable for automation and it is on-line. The result is a potential for the optimization of processes based on microbial activity.  相似文献

The in-situ microscope is a system developed to acquire images of mammalian cells directly inside a bioreactor (in-situ) duringa fermentation process. It requires only minimal operator intervention and it is well suited for either batch or long-termperfusion fermentation runs. The system fits into a 25 mm standard port and has a retractable housing, similar to the industry standard InTrac. Therefore, it can be cleaned and serviced without interruption of the process or risking contamination. A sampling zone inside the bioreactor encloses adefined volume of culture and an image sequence is taken. The height of the sampling zone is set by the control program and canbe adjusted during the cultivation to accommodate a wide range of change in cell density. The system has an infinity correctedoptical train and uses a progressive scan CCD camera to acquirehigh quality images. Process relevant information like cell density is extracted fromthe images by digital image processing software, currently in development for mammalian cells (CHO, BHK). The first version ofthe software will be able to estimate the cell density, cellsize distribution and to give information of the degree of aggregation (single and double cells, cell clusters).  相似文献
