Gene transfer agents (GTAs) are shaped like bacteriophage particles but have many properties that distinguish them from bacteriophages. GTAs play a role in horizontal gene transfer in nature and thus affect the evolution of prokaryotic genomes. In the course of studies on the extracellular production of designed RNAs using the marine bacterium Rhodovulum sulfidophilum, we found that this bacterium produces a GTA-like particle. The particle contains DNA fragments of 4.5 kb, which consist of randomly fragmented genomic DNA from the bacterium. This 4.5-kb DNA production was prevented while quorum sensing was inhibited. Direct observation of the particle by transmission electron microscopy revealed that the particle resembles a tailed phage and has a head diameter of about 40 nm and a tail length of about 60 nm. We also identified the structural genes for the GTA in the genome. Translated amino acid sequences and gene positions are closely related to those of the genes that encode the Rhodobacter capsulatus GTA. This is the first report of a GTA-like particle from the genus Rhodovulum. However, gene transfer activity of this particle has not yet been confirmed. The differences between this particle and other GTAs are discussed.  相似文献

AtTDX is an enzyme present in Arabidopsis thaliana which is composed of two domains, a thioredoxin (Trx)-motif containing domain and a tetratricopeptide (TPR)-repeat domain. This enzyme has been shown to function as both a thioredoxin and a chaperone. The midpoint potential (Em) of AtTDX was determined by redox titrations using the thiol-specific modifiers, monobromobimane (mBBr) and mal-PEG. A NADPH/Trx reductase (NTR) system was used both to validate these Em determination methods and to demonstrate that AtTDX is an electron-accepting substrate for NTR. Titrations of full-length AtTDX revealed the presence of a single two-electron couple with an Em value of approximately ?260 mV at pH 7.0. The two cysteines present in a typical, conserved Trx active site (WCGPC), which are likely to play a role in the electron transfer processes catalyzed by AtTDX, have been replaced by serines by site-directed mutagenesis. These replacements (i.e., C304S, C307S, and C304S/C307S) resulted in a complete loss of the redox process detected using either the mBBr or mal-PEG method to monitor disulfide/dithiol redox couples. This result supports the conclusion that the couple with an Em value of ?260 mV is a disulfide/dithiol couple involving Cys304 and Cys307. Redox titrations for the separately-expressed Trx-motif containing C-domain also revealed the presence of a single two-electron couple with an Em value of approximately ?260 mV at 20 °C. The fact that these two Em values are identical, provides additional support for assignment of the redox couple to a disulfide/dithiol involving C304 and C307. It was found that, while the disulfide/dithiol redox chemistry of AtTDX was not affected by increasing the temperature to 40 °C, no redox transitions were observed at 50 °C and higher temperatures. In contrast, Escherichia coli thioredoxin was shown to remain redox-active at temperatures as high as 60 °C. The temperature-dependence of the AtTDX redox titration is similar to that observed for the redox activity of the protein in enzymatic assays.  相似文献

Strains of Bacillus sphaericus exhibit varying levels of virulence against mosquito larvae. The most potent strain, B. sphaericus 2362, which is the active ingredient in the commercial product VectoLex®, together with another well-known larvicide Bacillus thuringiensis subsp. israelensis, is used to control vector and nuisance mosquito larvae in many regions of the world. Although not all strains of B. sphaericus are mosquitocidal, lethal strains produce one or two combinations of three different types of toxins. These are (1) the binary toxin (Bin) composed of two proteins of 42 kDa (BinA) and 51 kDa (BinB), which are synthesized during sporulation and co-crystallize, (2) the soluble mosquitocidal toxins (Mtx1, Mtx2 and Mtx3) produced during vegetative growth, and (3) the two-component crystal toxin (Cry48Aa1/Cry49Aa1). Non-mosquitocidal toxins are also produced by certain strains of B. sphaericus, for example sphaericolysin, a novel insecticidal protein toxic to cockroaches. Larvicides based on B. sphaericus-based have the advantage of longer persistence in treated habitats compared to B. thuringiensis subsp. israelensis. However, resistance is a much greater threat, and has already emerged at significant levels in field populations in China and Thailand treated with B. sphaericus. This likely occurred because toxicity depends principally on Bin rather than various combinations of crystal (Cry) and cytolytic (Cyt) toxins present in B. thuringiensis subsp. israelensis. Here we review both the general characteristics of B. sphaericus, particularly as they relate to larvicidal isolates, and strategies or considerations for engineering more potent strains of this bacterium that contain built-in mechanisms that delay or overcome resistance to Bin in natural mosquito populations.  相似文献

The bio-efficacy of Aloe vera leaf extract and bacterial insecticide, Bacillus sphaericus larvicidal activity was assessed against the first to fourth instars larvae of Aedes aegypti, under the laboratory conditions. The plant material was shade dried at room temperature and powdered coarsely. A. vera and B. sphaericus show varied degrees of larvicidal activity against various instars larvae of A. aegypti. The LC50 of A. vera against the first to fourth instars larvae were 162.74, 201.43, 253.30 and 300.05 ppm and the LC90 442.98, 518.86, 563.18 and 612.96 ppm, respectively. B. sphaericus against the first to fourth instars larvae the LC50 values were 68.21, 79.13, 93.48, and 107.05 ppm and the LC90 values 149.15, 164.67, 183.84, and 201.09 ppm, respectively. However, the combined treatment of A. vera + B. sphaericus (1:2) material shows highest larvicidal activity of the LC50 values 54.80, 63.11, 74.66 and 95.10 ppm; The LC90 values of 145.29, 160.14, 179.74 and 209.98 ppm, against A. aegypti in all the tested concentrations than the individuals and clearly established that there is a substantial amount of synergist act. The present investigation clearly exhibits that both A. vera and B. sphaericus materials could serve as a potential larvicidal agent. Since, A. aegypti is a container breeder vector mosquito this user and eco-friendly and low-cost vector control strategy could be a viable solution to the existing dengue disease burden. Therefore, this study provides first report on the mosquito larvicidal activity the combined effect of A. vera leaf extract and B. sphaericus against as target species of A. aegypti.  相似文献

A magnetotactic bacterium, designated strain BW-1T, was isolated from a brackish spring in Death Valley National Park (California, USA) and cultivated in axenic culture. The Gram-negative cells of strain BW-1T are relatively large and rod-shaped and possess a single polar flagellum (monotrichous). This strain is the first magnetotactic bacterium isolated in axenic culture capable of producing greigite and/or magnetite nanocrystals aligned in one or more chains per cell. Strain BW-1T is an obligate anaerobe that grows chemoorganoheterotrophically while reducing sulfate as a terminal electron acceptor. Optimal growth occurred at pH 7.0 and 28 °C with fumarate as electron donor and carbon source. Based on its genome sequence, the G + C content is 40.72 mol %. Phylogenomic and phylogenetic analyses indicate that strain BW-1T belongs to the Desulfobacteraceae family within the Deltaproteobacteria class. Based on average amino acid identity, strain BW-1T can be considered as a novel species of a new genus, for which the name Desulfamplus magnetovallimortis is proposed. The type strain of D. magnetovallimortis is BW-1T (JCM 18010T–DSM 103535T).  相似文献

A xylanase-producing, Gram-positive, aerobic, and spore-forming bacterium was isolated from a soil sample collected from Jeju Island and was classified as a novel subspecies of Streptomyces thermocarboxydus on the basis of 16S rRNA gene sequence similarity, the results of DNA–DNA hybridization analysis, and phenotypic characteristics. The novel strain was named as S. thermocarboxydus subsp. MW8 (=KCTC29013 = DSM52054). This strain produced extracellular xylanase. Xylanase from the strain was purified to homogeneity and had an apparent molecular weight of 52 kDa. The NH2-terminal sequence (Ala-Glu-Ile-Arg-Leu) was distinct from those of previously reported xylanases. The purified xylanase produced xylobiose as the end-product of birchwood xylan hydrolysis. The Km and Vmax values of the purified xylanase on birchwood xylan were 1.71 mg/ml and 357.14 U/mg, respectively. The optimum pH and temperature for the enzyme were found to be 7.0 and 50 °C, respectively, and the enzyme exhibited significant heat stability. In addition, the enzyme was active over broad pH ranges: 84% of the maximum activity at pH 5.0, 84–88% at pH 6.0, 88% at pH 8.0, and 75–81% (pH 9.0). These enzymatic properties may be very useful for use in bio-industrial applications.  相似文献

An alkalophilic bacterial strain was isolated from the soil sample of Assam, North-East India. This strain was found capable of growing and producing α-amylase at extremely alkaline pH (12.5). By molecular characterization, this bacterium was identified as Bacillus licheniformis strain AS08E. Statistical optimization of media components resulted in 3-fold increase in the production of α-amylase from this bacterium. From this strain, a major extracellular α-amylase of ∼55 kDa was purified to homogeneity with a 14.5-fold increase in its specific activity. The N-terminal sequence of this enzyme showed extensive identity with α-amylases purified from thermostable bacteria. The purified enzyme showed optimum activity at pH 10.0 and 80 °C, and demonstrated stability toward various surfactants, organic solvents, and commercial laundry detergents. The spectroflurometric analysis suggests that the enzyme has a strong binding affinity toward soluble starch. TLC analysis of starch degradation product displays this α-amylase as a high maltose-forming enzyme. The future application of this enzyme in food and detergent industries is highly promising.  相似文献

A moderately thermophilic, strictly anaerobic, chemoautotrophic bacterium, designated strain HS1857T, was isolated from a deep-sea hydrothermal vent at the Noho site in the Mid-Okinawa Trough. Strain HS1857T grew between 35 and 63 °C (optimum 55 °C), in the presence of 10–55 g l?1 NaCl (optimum 25 g l?1), and pH 5.5–7.1 (optimum 6.4). Growth occurred with molecular hydrogen as the electron donor and elemental sulfur, nitrate, or selenate as the electron acceptors. Formate could serve as an alternative electron donor with nitrate as an electron acceptor. During growth with nitrate as the electron acceptor, strain HS1857T produced ammonium and formed a biofilm. CO2 was utilized as the sole carbon source. The G + C content of the genomic DNA was 33.2 mol%. Phylogenetic analysis of the 16S rRNA gene sequence indicated that strain HS1857T is a member of the order Nautiliales, showing a sequence similarity of 95.0% with Lebetimonas acidiphila Pd55T. The fatty acid composition was similar to that of L. acidiphila, which was dominated by C18:0 (47.0%) and C18:1 (23.7%). Based on the genomic, chemotaxonomic, phenotypic characteristics, the name Lebetimonas natsushimae sp. nov., is proposed. The type strain is HS1857T (= NBRC 112478T = DSM 104102T).  相似文献

In this study, a bacterial strain, Lysinibacillus sphaericus which is relatively new in the vast list of biocatalysts known to produce electricity has been tested for its potential in power production. It is cited from the literature that the organism is deficient in some sugar or polysaccharide processing enzymes and thus is tested for its ability to utilize substrates mainly rich in protein components like beef extract and with successive production of electricity. The particular species has been found to generate a maximum power density of 85 mW/m2 and current density of ≈270 mA/m2 using graphite felt as electrode. The maximum Open Circuit Voltage and current has been noted as 0.7 Vand 0.8 mA during these operational cycles. Cyclic voltammetry studies indicate the presence of some electroactive compounds which can facilitate electron transfer from bacteria to electrode. The number of electrogens able to generate electricity in mediator free conditions are few, and the study introduces more divergence to that population. Substrate specificity and electricity generation efficacy of the strain in treating wastewater, specially rich in protein content has been reported in the study. As the species has been found to be efficient in utilizing proteinaceous material, the technique can be useful to treat specific type of wastewaters like wastewater from slaughterhouses or from meat packaging industry. Treating them in a more economical way which generates electricity as a outcome must be preferred over the conventional aerobic treatments. Emphasizing on substrate specificity, the study introduces this novel Lysinibacillus strain as a potent biocatalyst and its sustainable role in MFC application for bioenergy generation.  相似文献

An esterase, designated as PE8 (219 aa, 23.19 kDa), was cloned from a marine bacterium Pelagibacterium halotolerans B2T and overexpressed in Escherichia coli Rosetta, resulting an active, soluble protein which constituted 23.1% of the total cell protein content. Phylogenetic analysis of the protein showed it was a new member of family VI lipolytic enzymes. Biochemical characterization analysis showed that PE8 preferred short chain p-nitrophenyl esters (C2–C6), exhibited maximum activity toward p-nitrophenyl acetate, and was not a metalloenzyme. PE8 was an alkaline esterase with an optimal pH of 9.5 and an optimal temperature of 45 °C toward p-nitrophenyl acetate. Furthermore, it was found that PE8 exhibited activity and enantioselectivity in the synthesis of methyl (R)-3-(4-fluorophenyl)glutarate ((R)-3-MFG) from the prochiral dimethyl 3-(4-fluorophenyl)glutarate (3-DFG). (R)-3-MFG was obtained in 71.6% ee and 73.2% yield after 36 h reaction under optimized conditions (0.6 M phosphate buffer (pH 8.0) containing 17.5% 1,4-dioxane under 30 °C). In addition, PE8 was tolerant to extremely strong basic and high ionic strength solutions as it exhibited high activity even at pH 11.0 in 1 M phosphate buffer. Given its highly soluble expression, alkalitolerance, halotolerance and enantioselectivity, PE8 could be a promising candidate for the production of (R)-3-MFG in industry. The results also demonstrate the potential of the marine environment as a source of useful biocatalysts.  相似文献

A combined DFT/electrostatic approach is employed to study the coupling of proton and electron transfer reactions in cytochrome c oxidase (CcO) and its proton pumping mechanism. The coupling of the chemical proton to the internal electron transfer within the binuclear center is examined for the O  E transition. The novel features of the His291 pumping model are proposed, which involve timely well-synchronized sequence of the proton-coupled electron transfer reactions. The obtained pKas and Ems of the key ionizable and redox-active groups at the different stages of the O  E transition are consistent with available experimental data. The PT step from E242 to H291 is examined in detail for various redox states of the hemes and various conformations of E242 side-chain. Redox potential calculations of the successive steps in the reaction cycle during the O  E transition are able to explain a cascade of equilibria between the different intermediate states and electron redistribution between the metal centers during the course of the catalytic activity. All four electrometric phases are discussed in the light of the obtained results, providing a robust support for the His291 model of proton pumping in CcO. While searching for effective bio-agents to control harmful algal blooms (HABs), the bacterial strain LP-10, which has strong algicidal activity against Phaeocystis globosa (Prymnesiophyceae), was isolated from surface seawater samples taken from the East China Sea. 16S rDNA sequence analysis and morphological characteristics revealed the strain LP-10 belonged to the genus Bacillus. The lytic effect of Bacillus sp. LP-10 against P. globosa was both concentration- and time-dependent. Algicidal activities of different growth stages of the bacterial culture varied significantly. The lytic effect of different parts of the bacterial cultures indicated that the algal cells were lysed by algicidal active compounds in the cell-free filtrate. Analysis of the properties of the active compounds showed that they had a molecular weight of less than 1000 Da and that the active compounds were stable between −80 and 121 °C. The algicidal range assay indicated that five other algal species were also suppressed by strain LP-10, including: Alexandrium catenella, A. tamarense, A. minutum, Prorocentrum micans and Asterionella japonica. Our results suggested that the algicidal bacterium Bacillus sp. LP-10 could be a potential bio-agent to control the blooms of harmful algal species.  相似文献

A soil-isolated bacterium (strain B4) was identified as a species of Bordetella and deposited with the China General Microbiological Culture Collection (code, CGMCC 2229). The bacterium grew in a mineral medium, on cholesterol as a sole source of carbon and energy. Only one metabolite of cholesterol was accumulated in detectable amounts during the strain growth. It was identified as 4-cholesten-3-one. Cholesterol oxidase (COD) (EC 1.1.3.6), which catalyzes cholesterol into this metabolite, was evidenced from the strain. The conditions of the bacterium growth were optimized for extracellular enzyme production, which then reached around 1700 UL−1 within 24 h culturing. The enzyme was purified from the spent medium of the strain to homogeneity on SDS-PAGE, and characterized. Its molecular mass, as estimated by this technique, was 55 kDa. COD showed an optimum activity at pH 7.0. It was completely stable at pH 5.0 and 4 °C for 48 h, and retained 80% at least of its initial activity at pH 4.0 or at a pH of 6.0–10.0. The optimum temperature for its reaction was 37 °C. The thermal stability of COD was appreciable, as 90% or 80% of its initial activity was recovered after 1 h or 2 h incubation at 50 °C. Ag+ or Hg+ at 1 mM, was inhibitor of COD activity, while Cu2+, at the same concentration, was activator. The COD Km, determined at 37 °C and pH 7.0, was 0.556 mM. The enzyme was stable at pH 7.0 and 37 °C during 24 h mechanical shaking in the presence of 33% (v/v) of either of the solvents, dimethylsulfoxide, ethyl acetate, butanol, chloroform, benzene, xylene or cyclohexane.  相似文献

A new strain Trichoderma koningii D-64 was isolated from Singapore soil samples. It produced cellulase, xylanase, and laccase on a variety of carbon sources. Enzyme activities of 3.8 ± 0.3, 40.3 ± 5.1, 6.6 ± 0.3 and 98.8 ± 10.3 U/mL were respectively obtained for FPase, CMCase, β-glucosidase and xylanase in a mixture of 1% cellulose and 2% wheat bran. About 70–95% saccharification efficiency of oil palm empty fruit bunch was obtained using T. koningii D-64 enzymes alone without the supplement of any other commercial enzymes. Strain T. koningii D-64 is therefore a potential cellulase producer for the efficient lignocellulosic biomass conversion to fermentable sugars.  相似文献

A series of 5-nitrofuran–triazole conjugates were synthesized and evaluated for their antimicrobial activity against both Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacterial strains. All the compounds exhibited promising inhibition towards Gram-positive pathogenic strains, while mild inhibitory effects were observed towards Gram-negative bacterial strains. Some of the compounds 8a, 8b, 8e, 8f, 8h are most active among the series exhibiting MIC value of 1.17 μg/ml against different bacterial strains. The bactericidal activity is found to be in accordance with the bacterial growth inhibition data. Compound 8e was found to be equipotent to the standard drug Ciprofloxacin displaying MBC value of 1.17 μg/ml against the bacterial strain Bacillus subtilis. The compounds have also demonstrated promising antibacterial activity against the resistant strain MRSA and were found to be effective inhibitors of biofilm formation. The compound 8b exhibited excellent anti-biofilm activity with IC50 value as low as 0.8 μg/ml. These conjugates were also screened for antitubercular activity against Mycobacterium tuberculosis H37Rv strain. Compound 8e showed promising antitubercular activity with MIC value of 0.25 μg/ml. Most of these compounds are less toxic to normal mammalian cells than the widely used antibacterial drug Ciprofloxacin.  相似文献

Among the various bacterial isolates, the strain MSF 46 isolated from thorn forest soil samples, Tamil Nadu, India, was screened and characterized for its proteolytic activity. While the 16S rRNA sequencing and biochemical characterization revealed that the strain closely resembles Methylobacterium sp., methylotrophy of the strain was confirmed by the sequence homology of mxaF gene with other relative Methylobacterium sp. The alkaline protease was purified to homogeneity using DEAE cellulose ion exchange chromatography, with a 5.2-fold increase in specific activity and 34% recovery. The apparent molecular weight of the enzyme was determined as 40 kDa by SDS–PAGE study. The pH and temperature optima were 9.0 and 50 °C respectively with maximum protease activity of 1164 U/ml. Protease of MSF 46 was active in a broad pH range 7.0–11.0 with a maximum at pH 8.5 and exhibited thermostability at 50 °C. The enzyme activity was inhibited by PMSF but showed stability with Tween 20, Triton X-100 and hydrogen peroxide. Nearly 30% reduction in enzyme activity was observed in the presence of EDTA and DTT. The enzyme was effective in hydrolyzing gelatin, skimmed milk and blood clots and exhibited the potency for dehairing of goat skin and removing blood stain from cotton fabric. Significant morphological changes were observed under scanning electron microscope between cells grown in normal and casein amended medium. This first detailed report on the production of alkaline protease by a PPFM strain appears promising toward development of protocols for mass production, study of the molecular mechanism and other applications.  相似文献

Prymnesium parvum produces a variety of toxic compounds, which affect other algae, grazers and organisms at higher trophic levels. Here we provide the method for development of a sensitive algal bioassay using a microalgal target, Teleaulax acuta, to measure strain variability in P. parvum toxicity, as well as the temporal stability of both the intracellular and the extracellular lytic compounds of P. parvum. We show high strain variation in toxicities after 3 h incubation with LC50s ranging from 24 to 223 × 103 cells ml−1. Most importantly we prove the necessity of testing physico-chemical properties of P. parvum toxins before attempting to isolate and characterize them. The extracellular toxin in the supernatant is highly unstable, and it loses significant lytic effects after 3 days despite storage at −20 °C and after only 24 h stored at 4 °C. However, when stored at −80 °C, lytic activity is more easily maintained. Reducing oxidation by storing the supernatant with no headspace in the vials significantly slowed loss of activity when stored at 4 °C. We show that the lytic activity of the intracellular toxins, when released by sonication, is not as high as the extracellular toxins, however the stability of the intracellular toxins when kept as a cell pellet at −20 °C is excellent, which proves this is a sufficient storage method for less than 3 months. Our results provide an ecologically appropriate algal bioassay to quantify lytic activity of P. parvum toxins and we have advanced our knowledge of how to handle and store the toxins from P. parvum so as to maintain biologically relevant toxicity.  相似文献

Alpha-amylase is a kind of broadly used industrial enzymes, most of which have been exploited from terrestrial organism. Comparatively, alpha-amylase from marine environment was largely undeveloped. In this study, a novel alkalophilic alpha-amylase with high activity, Luteimonas abyssi alpha-amylase (LaaA), was cloned from deep-sea bacterium L. abyssi XH031T and expressed in Escherichia coli BL21. The gene has a length of 1428 bp and encodes 475 amino acids with a 35-residue signal peptide. The specific activity of LaaA reached 8881 U/mg at the optimum pH 9.0, which is obvious higher than other reported alpha-amylase. This enzyme can remain active at pH levels ranging from 6.0 to 11.0 and temperatures below 45 °C, retaining high activity even at low temperatures (almost 38% residual activity at 10 °C). In addition, 1 mM Na+, K+, and Mn2+ enhanced the activity of LaaA. To investigate the function of potential active sites, R227G, D229K, E256Q/H, H327V and D328V mutants were generated, and the results suggested that Arg227, Asp229, Glu256 and Asp328 were total conserved and essential for the activity of alpha-amylase LaaA. This study shows that the alpha-amylase LaaA is an alkali-tolerant and high-active amylase with strong potential for use in detergent industry.  相似文献

A novel estuarine bacterial strain, Solibacillus silvestris AM1, was found to produce an extracellular, multimeric glycoprotein bioemulsifier, termed AM1, with a MW of 200 kDa and containing 30 kDa monomeric subunits. The bioemulsifier contained 3.6% of the minor carbohydrate components galactose and ribose/xylose. LC/MS-MS of the 30 kDa subunit revealed its homology with a flagellin-like protein arranged in the form of fibers, as shown by transmission electron micrographs. This is the first report of a flagellin-like protein that exhibits bioemulsifier activity being produced from a member of the Solibacillus genus. Bioemulsifier AM1 has a high emulsification index of 62.5% with 10?2 critical micellar dilution. It was found to be thermostable and active in the pH 5–9 and 0–5 M NaCl ranges. Moreover, AM1 formed stable emulsions with a broad range of solvents, including aliphatics, aromatic hydrocarbons and oils, performing better than the well-known bioemulsifier emulsan. Emulsions formed with trichlorobenzene and paraffin oil have a pseudoplastic non-Newtonian rheological property, as observed by particle size and shear stress analysis. AM1, an eco-friendly bioemulsifier, formed stable emulsions in varied physical conditions, and these attributes may prove to be advantageous in cosmetic, pharmaceutical and environmental applications.  相似文献

A bacterial strain BH072 isolated from a honey sample showed antifungal activity against mold. Based on morphological, biochemical, physiological tests, and analysis of 16S rDNA sequence, the strain was identified to be a new subspecies of Bacillus sp. It had a broad spectrum of antifungal activity against various mold, such as Aspergillus niger, Pythium, and Botrytis cinerea. Six pairs of antifungal genes primers were designed and synthesized, and ituA, hag, tasA genes were detected by PCR analysis. The remarkable antifungal activity could be associated with the co-production of these three peptides. One of them was purified by 30–40% ammonium sulfate precipitation, Sephadex G-75 gel filtration and anion exchange chromatography on D201 resin. The purified peptide was estimated to be 35.615 kDa and identified to be flagellin by micrOTOF-Q II. By using methanol extraction, another substance was isolated from fermentation liquor, and determined to be iturin with liquid chromatography–mass spectrometry (LC–MS) method. The third possible peptide encoded by tasA was not isolated in this study. The culture liquor displayed antifungal activity in a wide pH range (5.0–9.0) and at 40–100 °C. The result of the present work suggested that Bacillus BH072 might be a bio-control bacterium of research value.  相似文献
