The seasonal dynamics of uptake, partitioning and redistributionof dry matter, N, P, K, S, Ca, Mg, Na, Cl, Fe, Zn, Mn and Cuby the cormaceous plant Ixia flexuosa were studied in pot cultureat Perth, Western Australia. Dry matter and P, N, K, Zn andCu were redistributed from the mother corm with about 90 percent net efficiency: there was no net redistribution of Ca,Na, Fe or Mn. The efficiency of redistribution from the leafyshoot to fruits and the new season's corm was 80 per cent forN and P, 24–49 per cent for K, Cu and Zn, and 0–15per cent for Na, Fe, Ca, Mn, Cl, Mg, S and dry matter. Redistributionfrom the mother corm and vegetative organs could have suppliedthe replacement corm, cormlets and fruits with 32–53 percent of their S, K, P, N, Cu and Zn, and 11–25 per centof their Ca, Cl, Mn, Mg and dry matter. The mature replacementcorm had over 60 per cent of the plant's N and P, 25–50per cent of its dry matter, Zn, Cu, Mg, K and Cl, but less than20 per cent of its Ca, Na, Fe and Mn. Each plant produced anaverage of 12 cormlets; these had 35 per cent of the dry matterand 23–47 per cent of the amount of a particular nutrientin the new season's corms. Fruits had less than 16 per centof the dry matter and each mineral in the mature plant. Ratesof mineral intake by Ixia were much lower than reported forcrop plants, and may be related to the long growing season ofthe species. The dynamics of growth and proportional dry matter distributionbetween the vegetative parts and fruits of cucumber were studieddaily during a growing season. Most of the changes in dailyintegral of total solar radiation were reflected by changesin plant growth rate. Sometimes a time lag of a few days occurred,indicating the plants were adapting to radiation. The proportional dry matter distribution between fruits andvegetative parts showed a cyclic pattern. The daily proportionaldry matter distribution to the fruits varied between 40 and90% of the total dry matter. However, the cumulative dry weightof the fruits was fairly constant at 60% of the cumulative plantdry weight. The daily proportional dry matter distribution did not seemto be linked directly to the climate conditions (temperature,CO2 concentration, relative humidity or daily light integral).The proportional distribution to the fruits showed a clear positivecorrelation with the fruit load (number and weight of fruits)on a plant. The number of fruits on a plant changed considerablyduring the growing season. This number was limited not by theformation of new fruits but by abortion of fruits within about10 d after flowering. The number of young fruits that did notabort appeared to correlate positively with the growth rateof the vegetative parts. 多糖是黄精主要活性成分类型之一.通过对陕南汉中黄精实验基地多年生黄精不同龄节干物质重量、折干率、溶出物量及糖含量等进行测定分析,研究黄精不同龄节干物质累积和多糖分布特征.结果表明,各龄节水溶出物量比相应的醇溶出物量高得多,各龄节多糖含量比相应的醇溶性糖含量高得多.随着生长时间延长,单节干物质重量、水溶出物量、多糖含量等在2-4年龄节间变化最大,生长年限再延长,单节各指标下降明显.1-3年龄节品质稳定,黄精干物质累积总量逐年增多,因此确定当地黄精的最佳采收时间为种后3年.这些结果为当地黄精的规范化生产提供了理论依据.  相似文献

连续2年采用盆栽试验研究了莲藕(Nelumbo nucifera Gaertn)干物质和氮磷钾养分的累积与分配规律。结果表明:莲藕苗期以叶片生长并积累光合产物为主,膨大根状茎成型后,叶片、叶柄和根状茎中的干物质不断运输并贮存到膨大根状茎中,以产量形成为主,干物质累积总量增长呈"慢-快-稳定"的变化趋势;氮磷钾累积量与干物质累积量变化趋势一致,并与之呈极显著正相关,莲藕氮磷钾养分累积总量之比为1∶0.12∶1.31。移栽后97-160 d是莲藕产量形成的关键时期,不仅叶片、叶柄和根状茎中的氮磷钾随同干物质运输并贮存到膨大根状茎中,根系还从土壤中吸收更多的氮磷钾直接运输并贮存到膨大根状茎中,后者分别占同期氮磷钾累积量的69.8%、79.2%和75.0%。160 d膨大根状茎中干物质、氮、磷和钾累积量分别平均占植株总累积量的81.1%、85.2%、88.8%和80.2%。  相似文献

Budgets for utilization of dry matter, nitrogen and a rangeof mineral elements were constructed for the reproductive season(September 1988–May 1989) of plants of the mistletoe Amyemalinophyllum (Loranthaceae) parasitizing the swamp she oak (Casuarinaobesa Miq.) at Gingin, W. Australia. Shed buds comprised 55%of the allotment of dry matter to reproduction, shed flowers7%, abscised perianths and styles 15%, prematurely shed fruits15%, and successfully ripened fruits a mere 12%. Commitmentto reproductive biomass peaked sharply in October, while thegenerally higher rate of allocation to vegetative biomass declinedfrom beginning to end of the 9-5 month reproductive cycle. Investmentsof dry matter in new leaves and secondary thickening of previousseason's stems were several-fold greater budget items than productionof new stems and shedding of leaves. There was no evidence ofpre-senescence retrieval of N, P, and K from leaves, and concentrationsof Ca, Mg, Na, and Cl increased steadily in dry matter withleaf age. Values for reproductive effort (RE) for dry matterand specific mineral elements were calculated as commitmentto reproduction divided by commitment to reproduction plus vegetativebiomass (? 100). Due to highly differential partitioning ofcertain elements between reproductive and vegetative parts,RE values for minerals for the reproductive season ranged widely,viz. 7% for Ca, 10% for Mn, 15% for Mg, 17% for N, 25% for Kand Zn, 26% for Cu, and 35% for P. The comparable RE for drymatter was 29%. The weight ratio for net intake of nutrientelements from the host by A. linophyllum for the reproductiveseason was 21?5:20?2:6?6:1?6:1 (N:K:Ca:Mg:P), while the meanweight ratio for the concentrations of these elements in xylem(tracheal) sap of the Casuarina host was 13?9:15?6:4?1:30:1,respectively. The data are discussed in relation to the demonstrationof a direct lumen-to-lumen tracheary continuity between hostand mistletoe in mature regions of the haustorial interface. The growth, accumulation and movement of mineral nutrients (nitrogen,phosphorus, potassium (calcium) and chlorophyll in needles ofyoung radiata pine trees (Pinus radiata D. Don) were examined,from bud break in spring through the following year. Retranslocationof nutrients from needles was measured and is discussed in relationto nutrient requirements for seasonal growth. During the first 4–5 months after bud break when mostneedle growth occurred, all nutrients and chlorophyll accumulatedprogressively, although the concentrations of nitrogen, phosphorusand potassium decreased. During summer, substantial amounts of phosphorus were withdrawnfrom needles less than 6 months old, regardless of positionon the tree and silvicultural practice. In young needles andunder certain environmental conditions, this led to a markedtemporary decline in concentrations, even in fertilized treeson a fertile site. However, the phosphorus content of needleswas quickly restored following autumn rains. Similar fluctuations,including nutrient withdrawal in summer, occurred for nitrogenand potassium, but these were smaller than those observed forphosphorus. Phosphorus was also withdrawn from relatively olderneedles during summer. It was estimated that on a tree basis 86, 48 and 39 per centof the phosphorus, nitrogen and potassium, respectively, insummer shoots could have come from the retranslocation of nutrientsfrom young needles formed during the preceding spring. These results highlight the importance of nutrients stored inneedles to meet the nutrient requirements for growth when environmentalfactors may not be conducive to nutrient uptake from the soil. 为了探讨黄芩干物质累积和氮、磷、钾吸收与分配的特点及两者间的相互关系,通过田间试验和采样分析,研究了黄芩不同生育期植株的干物质和氮、磷、钾累积量.结果表明,黄芩干物质的累积量随生育进程不断地增加,出苗后52~85 d干物质累积量占总累积量的61.62%.在整个生育期,黄芩对K2O的吸收累积量最大,N次之,P2O5最小,N、P2O5、K2O吸收比例约为2.8∶1.0∶2.9,并且黄芩地上部氮磷钾的累积量大于根部,不同生育期,根部N、P2O5、K2O的累积比例呈现增加—降低—增加的趋势.黄芩对氮磷钾的积累量与干物质积累量呈极显著正相关关系.在供试的土壤和施肥条件下,每生产100 kg的黄芩根需要从土壤和肥料中吸收6.34 kg的N,2.60 kg的P2O5,7.02 kg的K2O.  相似文献

以抗旱性弱的‘兴芋-1’和抗旱性强的‘兴芋-2’芭蕉芋品种为材料,通过盆栽试验,研究了干旱及复水对芭蕉芋干物质以及N、P、K积累与分配的影响,以明确干旱条件下芭蕉芋干物质的构成特点及N、P、K吸收分配特性,为芭蕉芋节水高效栽培提供理论依据。结果表明:(1)干旱胁迫显著抑制了芭蕉芋的生长,降低了根茎、茎和叶中干物质积累及其在根茎中的分配,而促进了根中干物质积累与分配。(2)干旱胁迫显著降低了芭蕉芋对N、P、K的吸收和积累,且N、K的降幅大于P,同时也改变了N、P、K在各器官中的分配比例。(3)干旱胁迫条件下,N优先向芭蕉芋叶中分配,而P和K优先向根和叶中分配,同时这些变化存在品种差异,抗旱性强的‘兴芋-2’受影响程度小于抗旱性弱的‘兴芋-1’,但‘兴芋-2’根茎中K的分配率降幅大于‘兴芋-1’。(4)复水后芭蕉芋茎、叶恢复效果优于根茎,P吸收积累的恢复效果优于N和K,但短期复水的补偿效应仍不足以弥补干旱胁迫的伤害。研究发现,干旱胁迫增加了芭蕉芋根、叶中矿质元素的分配比例,增强其渗透调节能力,提高其耐旱性;干旱条件下抗旱性强的芭蕉芋品种‘兴芋-2’的K利用率低于抗旱性弱的品种‘兴芋-1’。  相似文献

为探索棉花短季直播高产栽培模式,采用多因子最优混合设计(311设计)研究了播期、栽培密度和施氮量对早熟品种JX0010的农艺性状、干物质积累分配的影响。结果表明,不同处理对棉花生育进程有一定影响,播种期是影响棉花生育期的主要因子,各处理生育进程随播种期的推迟而缩短。不同处理株高、果枝层数、果枝始节、果节数差异都达到了显著水平,栽培因子对株高、果枝始节高度、果节数的影响大小顺序为密度施氮量播期,对果枝层数影响的顺序为播期密度施氮量,适量的施氮、合理密植以及适当推迟播期能增大植株高度,增加棉株果节数。不同处理棉花地上部分单株干物质积累、群体干物质积累、单株营养器官干物质积累、生殖器官干物质积累变化趋势基本呈"S"型,不同处理干物质分配系数表现出随着生育进程的推进,营养器官所占比重降低,生殖器官所占比重逐渐升高的趋势。  相似文献

The patterns of fruit growth, abscission and dry matter accumulationwere determined for ungirdled macadamia branches and comparedwith the patterns on girdled branches. The relationships betweenfruit set, fruit drop, and the number of available leaves werealso assessed. Approximately 50 leaves were required to supportdevelopment of each fruit on girdled branches, so that finalfruit numbers on girdled branches were higher or lower thanon ungirdled controls, depending on leaf number. High leaf numbersdid not cause any increase in fruit size on girdled branches,but low leaf numbers resulted in fruit volumes up to 23% lowerthan the controls. The number of fruits set on ungirdled brancheswas independent of the number of leaves on the branch. Defoliationof ungirdled branches had no effect on the number of fruitsset, with fruit set on these branches apparently being supportedalmost entirely from carbohydrates obtained elsewhere in thetree. Three phases of fruit drop were observed, with maximaat 2, 6-7, and 10 weeks post-anthesis, separated by phases ofrelatively low fruit drop at 4 and 8 weeks post-anthesis. Themaximum dry weight increase of the crop occurred between 10and 20 weeks post-anthesis, when there was very little fruitdrop. Rates of CO2 efflux from the aerial parts of eight winter wheat(Triticum aestivum L. em Thell) genotypes were determined duringspike emergence, anthesis and early grain filling over two seasons.Dry weight data were also recorded at flag leaf full expansionand anthesis Respiration rates on a ground area basis did not differ (P >0–05) among the times of day when measurements were made.In contrast, highly significant day-to-day effects (P > 0–001)were evident. Daily respiratory efflux was consistently highduring spike emergence, declining to lower values before andafter anthesis in each year. Changes in daily respiration wereanalysed in terms of a two-parameter respiration model. Modelpredictions suggested that changes in chemical composition ofthe dry matter formed during ontogeny could explain the day-to-dayeffect Although no genotypic differences in respiration (ground areabasis) and crop growth rate were found, significant negativecorrelations between crop d. wt and respiration rate per unitd. wt were evident. Seasonal rates of growth and dry-matter production were examinedin second-year seedlings of Larix leptolepis, Pinus contorta,and Pinus radiata grown in an unheated glasshouse. The deciduousLarix had a higher rate of production of dry matter than eitherof the two species of Pinus until the time of leaf fall, andthis was accompanied by a greater height and diameter increment.However, between the time of leaf fall in Larix and the endof the growing season, the species of Pinus increased in dryweight by more than 25 per cent, and in consequence Larix, becauseof its deciduous habit, lost much of the advantage of its fastgrowth-rate. Comparison of the two pine species showed thatP. radiata, while making nearly 3.5 times as much height incrementas P. contorta, had only a 45 per cent higher dry weight thanthat species at the end of the experiment. The dry-weight differenceswere due to differences in relative growth-rate (RGR). The RGR differences between the two pine species resulted fromdifferences in net assimilation rate (NAR) rather than differencesin the ratio of photosynthetic to non-photosynthetic tissue,and P. radiata gained most of its dry-weight advantage duringthe two months of October and November. It seems possible thatthe higher NAR of P. radiata at this time was a reflection ofthe difference in growth habit between the two pine species,and possible mechanisms by which growth may have affected NARin this experiment are briefly considered.  相似文献

ABSTRACT Ephemeral wetlands in the Antarctic dry valleys alternate as sites of in situ net primary production when inundated and sources of organic matter for eolian export when desiccated. Evidence of this switch was obtained from observations made in two field seasons (2001 and 2003), coincidentally separated by a season of exceptionally high water yield from nearby glaciers (2002). In 2001, organic matter on soil surfaces adjacent to several ponds in Taylor Valley often exceeded 500 g C/m2. One pond had a total stock of approximately 1,388 kg organic C on soils within 20 m of the shoreline. These materials formed concentric rings around the pond, suggesting historically higher water levels, consistent with aerial photographs taken a decade earlier (1993). In 2003, these materials were submerged by water apparently received during the intervening year. Also in 2003, pitfall traps were placed along the edges of exposed organic matter adjacent to another pond to evaluate organic material erosion by wind. Over 4.5 days, traps collected 0.22 ± 0.12 to 2.91 ± 1.68 g C/m2, both confirming and quantifying wind transport. These results indicate that organic matter production and movement, driven by seasonal and decadal patterns of inundation/desiccation of small, ephemeral wetlands, overlay longer term (centuries and millennia) and larger scale (landscape) patterns of production and distribution driven by regional fluctuations in hydrological balance between glaciers and large freshwater lakes.  相似文献

研究了受加拿大一枝黄花(Solidago canadensis)入侵的半自然林地的植物物种多样性变化,以期揭示该入侵植物对物种多样性的直接影响规律。结果显示,加拿大一枝黄花对林地的入侵造成了植物多样性的下降,入侵区植物的多样性指数小于对照区和只有少量加拿大一枝黄花入侵的蔓延区,而对照区和蔓延区之间并无显著差异。植物多样性指数和群落均匀度指数在不同季节问存在较大变化:多样性指数从4月到11月呈现F降趋势,而从1月份开始多样性指数开始升高。加拿大一枝黄花入侵对物种多样性的影响在6月到10月份最为严重,这可能是由于这段时间该入侵植物通过旺盛的克隆生长侵占了大部分生境排挤了土著植物。可见,虽然在林下的生长受抑。加拿大一枝黄花仍可能通i寸克降繁殖占据牛境.造成林地植物多样性的下降。  相似文献

在综合以前研究成果的基础上,兼顾模型的机理性与实用性的平衡,构建了紫苏光合生产与干物质累积的模拟模型.模型采用高斯积分法有效地计算了冠层每日的总光合量,且充分考虑了环境因子中温度和CO_2对光合作用的影响.利用试验资料对模型核实的结果显示,模型可以较好地预测不同生长条件下的生物量累积动态,具有较强的机理性和实用性.  相似文献

通过盆栽试验进行水分(正常灌水和干旱后复水)和施氮处理(0、240、480kgN·hm-2),研究花铃期短期干旱再复水后氮素对棉花各器官干物质重、氮素累积与分配及产量与品质的影响.结果表明:花铃期土壤干旱显著降低了棉株各器官的干物质重与氮素累积量,而增大了棉株各器官的氮素含量,同时亦降低了棉株干物质与氮素在叶片中的分配指数,但提高了在根系的分配指数,从而增大了根冠比;增施氮肥可以提高干旱条件下棉株的干物质重与氮素累积量,但亦增大水分胁迫指数.复水对干旱处理棉株生长具有明显的补偿效应,尤其是根系的干物质重与氮素累积量显著高于相应正常灌水处理,且增施氮肥可以提高棉株的补偿效应.花铃期干旱结束时与复水后第10天,干旱处理棉株均以240kgN·hm-2水平下的生殖器官干物质重与分配指数最高,而根冠比最小,地上部与地下部生长最为协调,最终籽棉产量最高、纤维品质最优;而施氮不足(0kgN·hm-2)或过量(480kgN·hm-2)均不利于棉花产量的提高与纤维品质的改善.  相似文献

A field study was conducted as part of an ongoing effort tocollect data on patterns of leaf area development and dry matteraccumulation and partitioning among various plant parts duringgrowth and development of two taro cultivars. Plants were harvestedfor biomass about every 6 weeks during the growing season. Ateach harvest, plants were separated into various plant parts,and their dry matter content was determined. The first 80 dafter planting were characterized by low rates of dry matteraccumulation, with only leaves, petioles, and roots showingsubstantial growth. Afterwards, increases in total dry matterwere mainly the result of corm and sucker growth. Corm bulkingoccurred after the attainment of maximal leaf area indices.The absence of an optimal leaf area index for a longer periodof time may have prevented the realization of higher dry matteryields. The partitioning of dry matter to the corms of bothcultivars remained almost constant especially after 150 d afterplanting.
