缢溪泥甲属三新种及一新记录种（鞘翅目：泥甲总科：溪泥甲科）

记述采自我国广西的缢溪泥甲属Leptelmis3新种：褐线缢溪泥甲L.brunnelineata,sp．n．：条带缢溪泥甲L．vittata,sp．nov．,广西缢溪泥甲L.guangxiana,sp．n．以及1中国新记录种：暗缢溪泥甲L．obscuraDeleve。tee．n．。模式标本保存在中国农业大学昆虫标本室。     

Korean species of the genus Bisnius Stephens (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae)

Two Korean species of the genus Bisnius Stephens are studied. Bisnius macies (Sharp), found along the seashore of some islands, is introduced for the first time in Korea.     

Larval descriptions of five Byctiscus species (Coleoptera: Rhynchitidae) in Korea

The genus Byctiscus reported in Korea in five of nine species (B. lacunipennis, B. rugosus, B. puberulus puberulus, B. princeps and B. coerulans) is described for the last instar larvae. In addition, the cradle structure and host‐plants are provided.     

Description of Optioservus gapyeongensis new species and Heterlimnius hasegawai (Nomura) (Coleoptera: Elmidae) new to Korea

A new riffle beetle species Optioservus gapyeongensis n. sp. is described from the adult and larval stages. Heterlimnius hasegawai (Nomura), previously misidentified in Korea as Optioservus (Cyclolimnius) kubotai Nomura or Optioservus variabilis Nomura, is redescribed. The adults and larvae of both species inhabit attached mosses on substrates of clean mountain streams, headwaters or springs. Photographs of dorsal adults and habitats and line drawings of diagnostic characters are provided.     

中国狭麦蛾属Stenolechia分类研究及三新种记述(鳞翅目:麦蛾科:特麦蛾族)

Review of family Lucanidae (Insecta: Coleoptera) in Korea with the description of one new species

This paper provides a review of the family Lucanidae in Korea, which consists of 17 species belonging to 9 genera. One new species, Dorcus tenuihirsutus sp. nov., is described and the following taxonomical changes are proposed: Aegus laevicollis Saunders, 1854 is newly identified as Aegus laevicollis subnitidus Waterhouse, 1873; Macrodorcas striatipennis Motschulsky, 1861 is removed from the Korean fauna because this record is thought to have been based on the misinterpretation of locality and misidentification; Neolucanus saundersii Parry, 1864 is removed from the Korean fauna because this record is thought to have been based on misidentification.     

中国隐毒甲属分类研究及四新种记述

记述中国隐毒甲属Cryphaeus Klug, 1833的4新种: 短角隐毒甲C. brevicornus sp. nov.,长角隐毒甲C. longicornus sp. nov.,短毛隐毒甲C. barbellatus sp. nov.和歪角隐毒甲C. obliquicornus sp .nov.。模式标本保存在河北大学博物馆。给出中国及部分周边地区已知种雄性和雌性检索表。     

New species and new records in Cerambycidae (Coleoptera) of the state of Bahia,Brazil

Two new species are described from Bahia (Brazil): Coleoxestia beckeri (Cerambycini), and Oncioderes obliqua (Onciderini). Nine species are recorded for the first time for Bahia (Brazil). Key to species of Oncioderes Martins & Galileo, 1990 is provided. Coleoxestia beckeri is included in a previous key.     

Korean species of the Genus Scaphobaeocera Csiki (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae: Scaphidiinae) in Korea

The genus Scaphobaeocera Csiki including three species ( S. dorsalis Löbl, S. inexpectata Löbl, S. pecki Löbl) is identified for the first time in Korea. A key to the species is given with diagnosis and illustrations of important morphological features.     

Taxonomic review of the Haliplidae (Coleoptera) in the Korean peninsula

A taxonomic review of Korean Haliplidae Aubé is presented. Eight species in two genera are recognized, one of which (Haliplus diruptus Balfour‐Browne) is reported for the first time in South Korea. We also found that H. ovalis Sharp previously recorded in the Korean peninsula was an incorrect identification of H. chinensis Falkenström. Habitus and scanning electron microscopy (SEM) photographs, diagnoses of genera, additional characters of species and diagnostic characters with illustrations of the species are provided.

记述采自我国广西的狭溪泥甲属5新种：密刻溪泥甲Stenelmis granulose sp.n.,深褐溪泥甲Stenelmis obscurifusca sp.n.,隆脊溪泥甲Stenelmis convexa sp.n.,、中文溪泥甲Stenelmis centridivisa sp.n,和广西溪泥甲Stenelmis guangxinensis sp.n. 。模式标本保存在中国农业大学昆虫标本室。     

Revision of the Chaetocnema picipes species-group (Coleoptera,Chrysomelidae, Galerucinae,Alticini) in China,with descriptions of three new species

The Chinese Chaetocnema picipes species-group is revised. It contains 5 species including 3 new species: C. cheni sp. n., C. constricta sp. n. and C. kingpinensis sp. n. The lectotype of C. fortecostata is designated. A key to all known species of this group from China and the illustrations of habitus and genitalia are provided. A distribution map of species is given.     

A new species of Clytus Laicharting (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) from Korea with a key to Korean species

A new species of Clytus Laicharting (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) is described from Korea. Illustrations of diagnostic characteristics of the new species including male genitalia are provided with a key to Korean Clytus species.     

Korean species of the genus Coptodera Dejean (Coleoptera: Carabidae: Lebiinae)

A truncatipennes‐group species, Coptodera japonica Bates, is newly recorded from Korea. Here we provide a diagnosis and systematic accounts of C. japonica Bates and a key to the species of Korean Coptodera.     

Revision of the Indo-Australian genus Cnematoplatys Schmidt with description of a new species from Queensland (Coleoptera: Scarabaeidae: Aphodiinae: Eupariini)

Abstract  The euparine genus Cnematoplatys Schmidt, with seven species, is reviewed, including one species, C. yorkensis described as new. The generic diagnosis is revised, a lectotype of the type species, C. benardi Schmidt, is designated, a key to the species is provided and pertinent morphological details are illustrated. All data on taxonomy and available data on distribution are given, and a cladistic analysis is included to test the monophyly of the genus.     

A new species of Haliplus Latreille, 1802 from Cuba (Coleoptera: Haliplidae)

Haliplus alberti sp. n. is described, based on three specimens collected in Pan de Guajaibon, San Juan de Sagüa, Pinar del Río, Cuba. Morphologically, the new species is similar to H. pseudofasciatus Wallis, 1933 and H. mutchleri Wallis, 1933, both from Florida (USA). The beetles were collected in a permanent lagoon with abundant aquatic vegetation, muddy bottom and macrophytes near the banks. Seven species of Haliplus are now known from Cuba.

Two Staphylinina species (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae: Staphylininae) new to Korea

Two species of the subtribe Staphylinina ( Platydracus vicarius Sharp and Ocypus lewisius Sharp) are identified for the first time in Korea. Diagnoses and illustrations of the habitus and male genitalia are presented.
