Progesterone, 20alpha-dihydroprogesterone, estrone and estradiol-17beta concentrations were estimated by radioimmunoassay in blood plasma from uterine, uteroovarian and femoral veins of rhesus monkeys (Macaca mulatta) on days 22, 49, 128 and 160 of gestation. Steroids were consistently more concentrated in uterine and uteroovarian that in femoral venous plasma and in many cases levels in the uteroovarian vein were also higher than those in the uterine vein indicating luteal secretion of both progestins and estrogens thoughout gestation. In some animals, however, the corpus luteum appeared quiescent. As reflected in the decline in the uterine venous progesterone/estradiol-17beta concentration ratio, a shift in steroid contribution from the uterus and its contents occurred between days 22 and 49 of gestation with progesterone declining more rapidly than estradiol-17beta. Progesterone/20alpha-dihydroprogesterone was higher in both uterine and uteroovarian than in femoral venous plasma suggesting peripheral metabolism of progesterone to 20alpha-dihydroprogesterone.  相似文献

Corpora lutea (n = 20) were detected in 5 one-humped female camels studied during a period of 4 months. Complete mating by a vasectomized male, male introduction into the pen of females without mating, or a progesterone decrease from a previous corpus luteum were followed by a similar progesterone pattern. A maximal plasma concentration of 4.5 +/- 1.5 ng progesterone/ml (2.7-8.8 ng/ml) occurred 8.55 +/- 1.32 days (6-11 days) after the inducing stimulus. Luteal regression, beginning 8.65 +/- 1.18 days after the stimulus, was completed at Day 11.55 +/- 1.05. Morphological development of ovarian structures, detected by rectal palpation, was in synchrony with the progesterone increase, but there was a prolonged period of regression. Females accepted mating up to 7 days after the ovulatory stimulus, when progesterone levels were as high as 3.5 ng/ml. This study establishes the absence of pseudopregnancy in the one-humped female camel, and offers opportunities for improving the management of reproduction. It also shows that ovulatory stimuli other than mating can be effective in these animals.  相似文献

The aim of the present study was to evaluate the susceptibility of the corpus luteum to d-cloprostenol (synthetic analog of PGF(2α)) throughout the luteal phase in llamas. Female llamas (n=43) were induced to ovulate by GnRH injection in the presence of an ovulatory follicle and randomly assigned into one of six groups: control and treated with an injection of d-cloprostenol on Day 3, 4, 5, 6 or 8 post GnRH. Blood samples were collected to determine plasma progesterone concentrations. There was no effect of treatment on animals injected on Day 3 or 4 post-GnRH. In animals treated on Day 5, different responses were observed. No effect of treatment was recorded in 27% of the animals whereas 55% of the llamas showed a transitory decrease followed by a recovery in plasma progesterone concentrations after d-cloprostenol injection, indicative of a resurgence of the corpus luteum, extending the luteal phase a day more than in control animals. In the remaining 18% of the animals injected on Day 5, (corresponding to those exhibiting the greatest plasma progesterone concentrations at the day of injection), complete luteolysis was observed. Plasma progesterone concentrations decreased to below 1 ng ml(-1) 24 h after d-cloprostenol in llamas injected on Day 6 or 8 post-GnRH. In conclusion, the corpus luteum of llamas is completely refractory to PGF(2α) until Day 4 after induction of ovulation, being partially sensitive by Day 5 and fully responsive to PGF(2α), by Day 6 after induction of ovulation.  相似文献

It is often assumed that a larger corpus luteum will produce more progesterone and generate higher circulating plasma concentrations. The aim of the study was to determine whether the size of the corpus luteum does actually determine circulating plasma progesterone concentrations. Data were collated from a number of studies on various aspects of luteal function in non-lactating dairy cows to allow comparisons to be made between corpus luteum weight and plasma progesterone concentration across the luteal phase. In these studies oestrous cycles had been synchronised and animals slaughtered on day 5, day 8 or day 16 following oestrus. Both corpus luteum weight and plasma progesterone concentration increased between day 5 and day 8. Plasma progesterone concentration but not luteal weight also increased between day 8 and day 16. On day 5 there was a strong relationship between corpus luteum weight and plasma progesterone (R2 = 0.64; P < 0.001). However, no such relationship was present on day 8 or day 16. These results indicate that while during the early stage of corpus luteum development a relationship between size and progesterone is present, by day 8 of the cycle, the size of the corpus luteum is no longer of importance in determining circulating progesterone concentrations.  相似文献

The effect of undernutrition on ovarian and uterine venous progesterone concentrations and endometrial progesterone content on Days 5 and 10 of the estrous cycle were studied. Forty ewes were synchronized using progestagen pessaries. At pessary withdrawal, the ewes were fed diets to provide either 1.5 or 0.5 times the daily maintenance requirement (Group H, n = 20 and Group L, n = 20, respectively). Ewes fed the low nutrition diet (Group L) had higher mean peripheral progesterone concentrations than those fed the high plane diet (Group H; P < 0.05) but lower endometrial progesterone content on Day 5 (P < 0.05). Neither ovarian nor uterine venous levels were affected by nutrition on either Day 5 or 10. Progesterone concentrations in blood samples collected ipsilateral to ovaries bearing a corpus luteum (CL) were higher than in the contralateral samples (P < 0.001). It is concluded that undernutrition can produce a reduction of endometrial content of progesterone the first week after mating. Since no differences in ovarian venous concentrations were observed, it remains to be shown whether this variation is due to other variables, such as the population of endometrial progesterone receptors or other nonhormonal factors.  相似文献

A total of 71 synchronized dairy heifers (Holstein Friesian x German Black Pied) were used as recipients of seven-day old frozen/thawed bovine embryos. Plasma progesterone concentrations and corpus luteum quality on the day of nonsurgical transfer (= day 7) were determined and related to pregnancy rates or estrus intervals in nonpregnant recipients. A total of 32 recipients (45.1 %) maintained pregnancy; 39 recipients (54.9 %) did not. No significant differences could be detected between progesterone levels in recipients that remained pregnant (3.14 +/- 0.24 ng/ml; x +/- SEM ) and those that did not maintain pregnancy (3.23 +/- 0.28 ng/ml). Optimal progesterone levels were between 2 and 5 ng/ml coinciding with a pregnancy rate of 51.1 % (24 47 ). Pregnancy rates apparently were decreased when progesterone levels were below 2 ng/ml (35.3 %; 6 17 ) or above 5 ng/ml (28.6 %; 2 7 ). Hence, optimal progesterone levels were identical to those for freshly collected embryos reported previously by Remsen et al. (1). Bovine corpus luteum quality graded by rectal palpation was related to some extent to progesterone levels but not to pregnancy rates. Out of 39 nonpregnant recipients seven animals (17.9 %) with a mean plasma progesterone level of 3.76 +/- 0.72 ng/ml showed an extended estrus interval of more than 55 days, probably indicating early embryonic mortality. Progesterone levels did not significantly differ between nonpregnant recipients with estrus intervals of various length. Plasma progesterone levels at the time of transfer are of limited diagnostic value for screening recipients prior to transfer of frozen/thawed embryos.  相似文献

Anoestrous Romney Marsh ewes were treated with small-dose (250 ng) multiple injections of GnRH. Ewes in Groups 1 and 3 were hysterectomized 2 weeks before treatment, while those in Groups 2 and 4 were intact controls. Groups 1 and 2 were primed with progesterone (+P) and treated with 2 h injections of GnRH (250 ng) for 36 h, while Groups 3 and 4 were not pretreated (-P) but were given 2 h injections of GnRH (250 ng) for 18 h. Both treatment regimens were terminated with a bolus injection of GnRH (125 micrograms), given to synchronize the timing of the LH surge and subsequent luteal progesterone production. The plasma progesterone profiles of 5/5 animals in Group 2 (+P controls) and 2/5 animals in Group 4 (-P controls) were indicative of normal luteal function, while the remaining 3/5 animals in Group 4 produced plasma progesterone profiles typical of abnormal luteal function. However, in all the hysterectomized animals (Groups 1 and 3) peripheral plasma progesterone concentrations rose to reach a mean peak value of 1.3 ng/ml plasma on Day 8 which was maintained in all animals irrespective of progesterone pretreatment. The absence of a fall in progesterone concentrations precluded the identification of any animal in Group 4 showing abnormal luteal function. It was also noted that, after hysterectomy, although the corpus luteum was maintained, it was with reduced secretory capacity. The prevention of the expected proportion (70%) of -P animals from displaying a decline in plasma progesterone concentration after hysterectomy provides firm evidence that the uterus is involved in the premature regression of the short-cycle corpus luteum.  相似文献

The quiescent corpus luteum of female tammars was reactivated by removal of the pouch young (RPY). The reactivated corpus luteum was ablated 3 days after RPY. Plasma progesterone and oestradiol concentrations were measured by radioimmunoassay in these and in sham-operated controls. Excision of the CL abolished the rise in progesterone seen at Day 5-6 in the sham-operated animals (130.7 +/- 56.6 vs 452.4 +/- 176.0 pg/ml, mean +/- s.d.). By contrast, oestradiol-17 beta values increased within 6-16 h of CL excision to 16.3 +/- 6.9 pg/ml and remained high for 1-3 days while in the sham-operated animals there were less sustained and more variable peaks of 10-20 pg/ml between Days 3 and 5 (mean 12.0 +/- 3.6 pg/ml at Day 4-5). We conclude that the early transient increase in peripheral plasma of progesterone is of luteal origin but the source of the oestradiol remains unknown.  相似文献

The corpus luteum of African elephants produces high amounts of 5α-reduced progesterone metabolites (5α-pregnane-3,20-dione and 5-α-pregnane-3α-ol-20-one), whereas progesterone itself is quantitatively less important, and plasma levels of progesterone during the estrous cycle in elephants are considerably lower than those of other mammals. The objective of this study was to compare the concentration of progesterone in plasma of Asian and African elephants as determined by specific progesterone assays with those of total immunoreactive progestagens containing a 20-oxo-group (20-oxo-P). These metabolites were determined by an enzyme immunoassay using an antibody against 5-α-pregnane-3β-ol-20-one, 3HS:BSA. Plasma of non-pregnant Asian (n = 4) and African (n = 4) elephants was collected at weekly intervals for periods of 8–15 months and at random intervals during pregnancy in one Asian elephant. High-performance liquid chromatography separation of plasma samples of both species demonstrated that in the 20-oxo-P assay, 5α-pregnane-3,20-dione makes up ˜60% of the total immunoreactive material. The progesterone and 20-oxo-P values during the estrous cycle showed a parallel pattern and were significantly correlated (P < 0.001; Asian: r = 0.80; y = 3.76 × –0.10; African: r = 0.75; y = 2.66 × –0.08). Progesterone and 20-oxo-P values in Asian and African elephants were <0.15 ng/ml during the follicular phase (weeks –4 to 0) of the estrous cycle; progesterone values during the luteal phase (weeks 2–9) were 0.60 ± 0.03 and 0.53 ± 0.03 ng/ml, and the 20-oxo-P values were 2.19 ± 0.16 and 1.48 ± 0.12 ng/ml, respectively. The 20-oxo-P values of the pregnant animal, although slightly higher, were comparable to those of non-pregnant elephants during the luteal phase. Total immunoreactive 20-oxo-P values are about three times higher than those of progesterone during the luteal phase, and 5α-pregnane-3,20-dione is the major immunoreactive 20-oxo-P in the plasma of Asian and African elephants. On the day after ovulation, the thecal tissue and associated mural granulosa lutein cells of the rabbit corpus luteum were separated from the granulosa lutein 'core' by dissection and these tissues were cultured separately or together (whole corpus luteum) in defined medium for 10 days on stainless-steel grids. The medium was changed completely every 24 h. Replicate tissues were cultured with testosterone (10 ng/ml), but no other hormones were added to the medium. Progesterone production increased during the first 2 days of culture for whole corpus luteum, granulosa lutein cells and the thecal compartment which also included granulosa lutein cells. After 3 days, the production of progesterone declined gradually, but was still detectable on Day 10. The production of the metabolite, 20 alpha-dihydroprogesterone, by whole corpus luteum was equal to or greater than that of progesterone. Without the addition of testosterone, the granulosa lutein cells produced little (10 pg/culture) oestradiol during 1 day of culture, but the thecal compartment and whole corpus luteum each produced about 100 pg/culture on Day 1 and declining quantities over the next 2 days. In the presence of testosterone added to the medium, the formation of oestradiol was greatly increased for all tissues for 5-6 days of culture, after which time oestradiol was no longer detectable with or without testosterone in medium. Transmission electron microscopy of cells after 10-12 days of culture revealed fine structure that is characteristic of luteal cells, including abundant smooth endoplasmic reticulum, lipid droplets, and junctions between the luteal cells. The corpus luteum in culture resembles the corpus luteum in situ in that steroidogenesis and differentiation can proceed for a period after ovulation without extrinsic hormonal stimulation.  相似文献

Plasma concentrations of oestradiol-17ß, progesterone, 15-keto–dihydro–PGF2α and luteinizing hormone (LH) were monitored in llamas and alpacas after mating with an intact male. Concentrations of LH and PGF2α metabolite were high immediately after copulation. Ovulation occurred in 92% of the animals. The first significant increases in progesterone were recorded on day 4 after mating. In non-pregnant animals the lifespan of the corpus luteum was estimated to be 8–9 days. Luteolysis occurred in association with the release of PGF2α. In pregnant animals, a transient decrease in progesterone concentrations was observed between days 8 and 18 in both species. No significant changes in PGF2α secretion were registered during this period. Oes– tradiol–17ß concentrations were high on the day of mating, declined to low values on day 4, and started to increase again on day 8. Peak values after luteolysis in non-pregnant animals were significantly higher than those registered in pregnant ones. Furthermore, concentrations of oestradiol-17ß were elevated for a longer period in non–pregnant than in pregnant animals. The results suggest that progesterone from the corpus luteum exerts a negative influence on follicular activity in pregnant animals by reducing oes– tradiol-17ß secretion.  相似文献

Plasma progesterone and LH secretion patterns were examined in 18 mature dairy cows during the oestrous cycle and after insemination. Blood samples were collected every 15 min for 8 h per day on Days 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 14, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 and 21 of the oestrous cycle, then, in the same cows, at the same times during early pregnancy. PGF-2 alpha secretion rates (as determined by plasma PGFM concentrations) were also monitored on Days 14, 16 and the day of, or equivalent to, luteal regression. Mean daily plasma progesterone concentrations were similar until Day 16 in cyclic and pregnant cows, after which values in non-pregnant animals declined. Regression analysis indicated that progesterone concentrations were best described by a quadratic expression with fitted maximum values on Day 13 in non-pregnant animals but values increased linearly over the whole period to Day 21 in pregnant cows. The frequency, amplitude and area under the curve of LH episodes showed no significant differences between cyclic and pregnant animals. In pregnant cows, the amplitude and area under the curve of progesterone episodes increased linearly between Days 8 and 21, although no such increase occurred in cyclic cows. Low-level PGFM episodes were present in cyclic and pregnant cows on Days 14 and 16 after oestrus, and high amplitude episodes occurred in non-pregnant cows during luteal regression. Pregnant cows showed a significant depression of the amplitude, but not the frequency of episodes at the expected time of luteal regression. These results confirm that the corpus luteum of pregnancy secretes an increasing amount of progesterone per se and per unit of LH until at least Day 21 after mating. They further suggest that the corpus luteum of the cyclic cow may experience small episodes of PGF-2 alpha and be subjected to initial degenerative changes by Day 14 after oestrus, some time before the onset of definitive luteolysis.  相似文献

A group of Holstein heifers (n=223), weighing approximately 454 kg, were used to determine pregnancy rates in relation to plasma progesterone concentrations in recipients on the day of embryo transfer. All recipients were in estrus within +/- 12 hours of the donor cows. These data showed a cubic trend by regression analysis. Chi-square test revealed that there was a significant (P<0.0001) relationship between plasma progesterone concentrations and resulting pregnancies. Pregnancy rates were low when plasma progesterone concentrations were below 2.00 ng/ml. Actual number of pregnancies relating to specific plasma progesterone groups were 12 61 (20%) for <2.00 ng/ml, 94 127 (74%) for concentrations between 2.00 and 5.00 ng/ml, and 21 35 (60%) for >5.00 ng/ml. Corpora lutea were classified as good, poor, or cystic by both manual and visual observation. These observations revealed that manual palpation of the corpus luteum was not a valid criterion of the corpus luteum function as measured by plasma progesterone concentrations. Further observation revealed no significant relationship between plasma progesterone and whether the corpus luteum was on the left or right ovary. Hence, pregnancy rate was not significantly associated with the left or right ovary. Pregnancies were determined by rectal palpation at 60 days.  相似文献

This study aimed to validate the measurements of body temperature and fecal progesterone concentrations as minimally invasive techniques for assessing ovarian cycle in a single sexually mature female killer whale. Rectal temperature data, fecal and blood samples were collected in the dorsal position using routine husbandry training on a voluntary basis. The correlations between rectal temperature and plasma progesterone concentration and between fecal and plasma progesterone concentrations were investigated. Fecal progesterone metabolites were identified by a combination of high‐performance liquid chromatography and enzyme immunoassay. Plasma progesterone concentrations (range: 0.2–18.6 ng/ml) and rectal temperature (range: 35.3–35.9°C) changed cyclically, and cycle lengths were an average (±SD) of 44.9±4.0 days (nine cycles) and 44.6±5.9 days (nine cycles), respectively. Rectal temperature positively correlated with the plasma progesterone concentrations (r=0.641, P<0.01). There was a visual trend for fecal progesterone profiles to be similar to circulating plasma progesterone profiles. Fecal immunoreactive progestagen analysis resulted in a marked immunoreactive peak of progesterone. The data from the single killer whale indicate that the measurement of rectal temperature is suitable for minimally invasive assessment of the estrous cycle and monitoring the fecal progesterone concentration is useful to assess ovarian luteal activity. Previous reports have indicated that repeated administrations of human chorionic gonadotrophin (hCG) to pony mares before day 38 of gestation caused pregnancy failure, but that this could be prevented by the prior or simultaneous administration of progesterone. The present paper describes the circulating progestagen concentrations during these experiments, and shows that pregnancy failure resulted from luteolysis after hCG administration. Most of the mares which received progesterone maintained their pregnancies after hCG injection, but progestagen concentrations fell, suggesting that partial lysis of the corpus luteum occurred. After day 38 of gestation repeated doses of hCG had no effect on plasma progestagen concentrations.  相似文献

Clun Forest ewe lambs (n = 124) were used to investigate the effects of post-mating progestagen supplementation on fertility. The animals were assigned to 1 of 3 three treatments: Group A (n = 41) served as the controls, Group B (n = 42) received 3 weekly injections of 6 mg of medroxyprogesterone acetate (MAP), while Group C (n = 41) was treated with intravaginal sponge containing 60 mg of MAP; all treatments were administered from Day 5 to Day 26 post mating. Supplementation did not increase the percentage of animals pregnant or those lambing: Group A, 72.2 and 66.6%; Group B, 57.5 and 50.0%; and Group C, 67.5 and 60.0%, respectively. Furthermore, there was no effect of supplementation on plasma progesterone, prolactin, cortisol, growth hormone, insulin, or glucose concentrations (P>0.05). However, pre- and post- mating hormone profiles differed significantly between the animals that lambed or aborted and the animals which were found to be barren at lambing. In the barren animals, progesterone concentrations were lower 4 days before and 9 to 33 days after mating (P<0.01), while overall prolactin concentrations were higher throughout the trial (P<0.01). But there was no difference between barren and fertile lambs in cortisol, growth hormone, insulin or glucose concentrations (P>0.05). These results indicate that progestagen supplementation does not increase the reproductive performance of ewe lambs. However, infertility is associated with reduced luteal function and increased prolactin concentration before and after mating.  相似文献

The results of our study presented here establishes that gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) acts directly on the corpus luteum, leading to suppressed production and release of progesterone and thus disrupting pregnancy. A GnRH-agonist (GnRH-Ag) treatment suppressed the luteal and serum progesterone levels. This suppression is neither mediated by a fall in ovarian testosterone production nor its conversion to estradiol. Although the treatment suppressed the nuclear estradiol-receptor content and binding sites for LH in the corpus luteum, it had no effect on the luteal binding sites for GnRH and prolactin within 24 h. GnRH-Ag augmented the plasma levels of luteinizing hormone, decreased the magnitude of nocturnal surges of prolactin, and had no effect on luteal cyclic adenosine 5'-monotriphosphate levels. Yet, the treatment had no effect on the luteal content of free cholesterol. We have also demonstrated, for the first time, the presence of steroidogenic acute regulatory protein and peripheral benzodiazepine receptor in the rat corpus luteum, and the suppression of these proteins by GnRH-Ag leads to reduced steroidogenesis by the corpus luteum. Concomitantly, P450 side-chain cleavage enzyme, its activity, and its mRNA content and 3beta-hydroxy-steroid dehydrogenase content in the corpus luteum decreased. The treatment suppressed the plasma levels of pregnenolone and 20alpha-dihydroprogesterone. These data suggest that the suppression of luteal steroidogenesis by GnRH-Ag may be due to its inhibitory effect on the cholesterol transport and/or on the enzymes involved in the steroidogenic pathway. Furthermore, based on other observations made in our laboratory, we propose a hypothesis that an endogenous GnRH is present in the corpus luteum/ovary during pregnancy in the rat and that this GnRH may play a physiological role in the regulation, maintenance, and/or termination of pregnancy.  相似文献

Prostacyclin (PGI-2), 6-keto-PGF-1 alpha and PGF-2 alpha were infused continuously for 6 h into the dorsal aorta of rats 8 days pregnant. PGF-2 alpha (10 micrograms/h) significantly reduced plasma progesterone concentrations by 66% and luteal tissue concentrations of pregnenolone and progesterone by 78% and 95% respectively. Plasma concentrations of 20 alpha-dihydroprogesterone remained unchanged whilst luteal tissue concentrations rose 2-fold. Plasma progesterone concentrations were significantly reduced to 50% by PGI-2 (10 micrograms/h) but were unaffected by 6-keto-PGF-1 alpha (10 or 100 micrograms/h). Neither PGI-2 (10 micrograms/h) nor 6-keto PGF-1 alpha (10 or 100 micrograms/h) had any significant effect on plasma concentrations of 20 alpha-dihydroprogesterone or on luteal tissue concentrations of pregnenolone, progesterone or 20 alpha-dihydroprogesterone. Arterial blood pressure was unaffected by PGF-2 alpha and 6-keto-PGF-1 alpha, but was significantly reduced by PGI-2 at infusion rates greater than or equal to 60 micrograms/h.  相似文献

In Schreibers' long-fingered bat from South Africa (approximately 33 degrees S) copulation, ovulation and fertilization occurred in April and May, implantation was delayed until August, and parturition occurred in December. Delayed implantation coincided with winter, during which the bats remained active, only entering prolonged periods of torpor during particularly cold spells. Plasma progesterone concentration was low during non-pregnancy (1.54 ng/ml) and during delayed implantation (1.67 ng/ml), and thereafter increased to reach a peak mean of 64.82 ng/ml in late pregnancy. Changes in size and ultrastructure of the luteal cells indicated periods of steroidogenesis just after formation of the corpus luteum, and for about 2 months after implantation; reduced steroidogenic activity during delayed implantation; and luteolysis in the last 2 months of pregnancy. Plasma luteinizing hormone (LH) concentration and pituitary LH-beta immunoreactivity were highest during follicular development and peaked just before ovulation. During early delayed implantation, plasma LH concentration was low, and both plasma LH and pituitary LH-beta immunoreactivity increased from July, reaching peaks in late pregnancy. LH may be required to activate the corpus luteum and terminate delayed implantation, or, as in some small carnivores, it may be required for luteal maintenance.  相似文献

Rats (5) at Day 16 of pregnancy were anaesthetized and a modification of a venous outflow technique was used to collect ovarian venous blood and lymph for 2 h. Both fluids were analysed for progesterone, 20 alpha-dihydroprogesterone, total protein, transferrin and albumin concentrations. In addition SDS gel electrophoresis was carried out to obtain an initial indication of permeability of capillaries to the various protein fractions. The concentrations of progesterone and 20 alpha-dihydroprogesterone in ovarian lymph were only 37% and 48% respectively of the corresponding concentrations in the venous plasma. Total protein concentration in the lymph was 53% of the venous plasma. The albumin and transferrin concentrations were similarly lower in lymph than plasma but the difference was only significant for transferrin. This study confirms that the rate of lymph flow, per unit mass of tissue, is high for the ovary and represents about 1.1% of plasma flow. It shows also that of the total progestagens secreted only around 0.5% leave by the lymphatic route. The finding of relatively low progestagen concentrations in lymph questions the view that progestagens are transported by simple diffusion from the luteal cell to blood and raises the possibility of a counter-current flow between fluid in the interstitial space and blood.  相似文献
