A new species, Chorthippus(Altichorthippus) qixingtaiensis sp. nov. from China is described in this paper. The new species is similar to C.(A.) changtunensis Yin, 1984, but different by: prozona longer than metazoan, maximum width of medial area of tegmen about 2 times as maximum width of cubital area in male, base of hind femur without dark sloping stripe on inner side and length of interspace of mesosterum shorter than minimum width in female. A new combination Magaulacobothrus tianshanensis(Zheng, Ma Ren, 2009) comb. nov. is reported. Prionotropis hystrix rhodanica Uvarov, 1923 is a protected grasshopper, endemic to the Crau plain area (a few thousand square kilometres), in southern France. It is restricted to a specific and very characteristic type of vegetation, locally called coussou.This biotope is currently being increasingly fragmented. This subspecies could disappear in a few years as a consequence of the increase in agricultural areas and of industrial parks. It is necessary to adopt measures rapidly for ameliorating the loss of this biotope. It is of prime importance to stop the increase of new agricultural or industrial areas, to create nature reserves for maintaining areas of natural coussou, particularly large fragments (more than 1000 ha) and to implement cultivated land remediation. Areas that are too small, too disturbed or too isolated will not be sufficient to ensure the survival of this brachypterous, highly sedentary and vulnerable grasshopper. 相似文献

E. casearius Wang, Yang & Tan, sp. nov. distorts severely new foliage of its host plant. 记述了采自甘肃省蚱科一新种,即圆肩蚱(Tetrix tereeshumerus sp.nov.)。该新种近似于神农架蚱(Tetrix shenglonjiaensis Zheng,Li and Wei),主要区别为:(1)头顶宽为1眼宽的2倍;(2)头顶前缘圆弧形,明显突出于眼前;(3)侧面观,颜面隆起在侧单眼前直;(4)前胸背板后突到达后足股节2/3处;(5)沟前区侧隆线平行;(6)肩角圆弧形;(7)肩部之间不具一对短纵隆线;(8)后翅到达后足股节中部;(9)中足股节明显大于前翅宽;(10)雌性下生殖板长大于宽。新种的模式标本保存于陕西师范大学动物研究所。 相似文献

本文记述了茧蜂科Braconidae潜蝇茧蜂亚科Opiinae印度茧蜂属Indiopius的1个新种:Indiopius alutacius Weng et Chen sp.nov.。这是该属在中国分布的首次记录。建立了世界已知3种的分种检索表。本新种与矮茧蜂I.humillimus Fischer相似,但新种可以由下列特征予以区别:1.并胸腹节革质纹,后缘具短纵脊;2.第1腹节背板长为宽的1.2-1.3倍;3.腹板侧泡明显具齿。模式标本保存于福建农林大学益虫研究室。 相似文献

A new aphid genus Raychaudhuriella and two new specices viz. Raychaudhuriella myzaphoides and Rhopalosiphoninus sensoriatus are described from Himachal Pradesh, north-west Himalaya. The affinity of Raychaudhuriella gen. nov. is drawn with Aspidophorodon Verma, Cavariela del Guercio, Myazphis van der Goot, Tricaudatus Narzikulov and Vesiculaphis del Guercio. Toxomerus hauseri Mengual sp. n. and Toxomerus picudus Mengual sp. n. are described from Peru and Ecuador respectively. Toxomerus circumcintus (Enderlein, 1938) is treated as a valid species and not considered synonym of Toxomerus marginatus, and Toxomerus ovatus (Hull, 1942) is considered junior synonym of Toxomerus nitidus (Schiner, 1868). Abstract Momonatira globosus, a new monotypic genus and species of Moridae, is described from five specimens taken in 1153–1184 m from South Canterbury Bight, New Zealand. Spindle shaped otoliths indicate affinities with genera within the Physiculus group. Momonatira is distinctive in having broad fleshy bases to the dorsal and anal fins; a very large globular head; no light organ or barbel; 5–6 rays in the ventral fin; the lower jaw included and in other characters. 相似文献
