Microorganisms living in arsenic-rich geothermal environments act on arsenic with different biochemical strategies, but the molecular mechanisms responsible for the resistance to the harmful effects of the metalloid have only partially been examined. In this study, we investigated the mechanisms of arsenic resistance in the thermophilic bacterium Thermus thermophilus HB27. This strain, originally isolated from a Japanese hot spring, exhibited tolerance to concentrations of arsenate and arsenite up to 20 mM and 15 mM, respectively; it owns in its genome a putative chromosomal arsenate reductase (TtarsC) gene encoding a protein homologous to the one well characterized from the plasmid pI258 of the Gram + bacterium Staphylococcus aureus. Differently from the majority of microorganisms, TtarsC is part of an operon including genes not related to arsenic resistance; qRT-PCR showed that its expression was four-fold increased when arsenate was added to the growth medium. The gene cloning and expression in Escherichia coli, followed by purification of the recombinant protein, proved that TtArsC was indeed a thioredoxin-coupled arsenate reductase with a kcat/KM value of 1.2 × 104 M− 1 s− 1. It also exhibited weak phosphatase activity with a kcat/KM value of 2.7 × 10− 4 M− 1 s− 1. The catalytic role of the first cysteine (Cys7) was ascertained by site-directed mutagenesis. These results identify TtArsC as an important component in the arsenic resistance in T. thermophilus giving the first structural–functional characterization of a thermophilic arsenate reductase.  相似文献

Oysters feed by removing particles from the water. This food is composed of complex mixtures of living microorganisms, detritus, and inorganic particles that widely range in size. It has been speculated that some marine heterotrophic microorganisms, such as Vibrio parahaemolyticus, could enter in this digestive process and persist in the oyster tissue. Since some strains of V. parahaemolyticus are pathogenic for humans, these bacteria are considered to be a constant menace for health and aquaculture. In order to improve the safety of marine products it is imperative to obtain more knowledge about Tiostrea chilensis and its interactions with V. parahaemolyticus. In this study V. parahaemolyticus ATCC 17802 was tagged using plasmid pKV111, which carries the gfp gene that codifies a Green Fluorescent Protein (GFP), thereby allowing these strains (VpGFP) to be detected under epifluorescence microscopy. Results obtained showed that T. chilensis can filter VpGFP directly from sea water and suggested that most of them were digested by oysters. However, in the postharvest stage, a small fraction can remain in oyster tissues after depuration and VpGFP can rapidly grow if the bivalves are stored at room temperature.  相似文献

Dothistroma septosporum is the causal agent of Dothistroma needle blight of pine trees. A novel green fluorescent protein (GFP)-based screening method was developed to assess the potential of microorganisms for biocontrol of Dothistroma. The screen utilizes GFP expression as an indicator of metabolic activity in the pathogen and hygromycin resistance selection to determine if the interaction is fungistatic or fungicidal. Results suggested that six of eight Trichoderma isolates tested have the potential to control Dothistroma in vitro, via a fungicidal action. Because D. septosporum produces a broad-spectrum toxin, dothistromin, the inhibition of Trichoderma spp. by D. septosporum was determined by growth rate measurements compared to controls. Inhibition of the Trichoderma spp. ranged from no inhibition to 30% inhibition and was influenced by the assay medium used. The GFP screening method was also assessed to determine if it was suitable for screening bacteria as potential biocontrol candidates. Although a method involving indirect-contact had to be used, two of four Bacillus strains showed antagonistic activity against D. septosporum in vitro, via a fungistatic interaction. The four bacterial strains inhibited D. septosporum growth by 14.0 to 39.8%. This GFP-based method represents a novel approach to screening fungi and bacteria for antagonistic activity.  相似文献

The microbial electrolysis cell (MEC) is a promising system for H2 production, but little is known about the active microbial population in MEC systems. Therefore, the microbial community of five different MEC graphite felt anodes was analyzed using denaturing gradient gel electrophoresis (DGGE) profiling. The results showed that the bacterial population was very diverse and there were substantial differences between microorganisms in anolyte and anode samples. The archaeal population in the anolyte and at the anodes, and between the different MEC anodes, was very similar. SEM and FISH imaging showed that Archaea were mainly present in the spaces between the electrode fibers and Bacteria were present at the fiber surface, which suggested that Bacteria were the main microorganisms involved in MEC electrochemical activity. Redundancy analysis (RDA) and QR factorization-based estimation (QRE) were used to link the composition of the bacterial community to electrochemical performance of the MEC. The operational mode of the MECs and their consequent effects on current density and anode resistance on the populations were significant. The results showed that the community composition was most strongly correlated with current density. The DGGE band mostly correlated with current represented a Clostridium sticklandii strain, suggesting that this species had a major role in current from acetate generation at the MEC anodes. The combination of RDA and QRE seemed especially promising for obtaining an insight into the part of the microbial population actively involved in electrode interaction in the MEC.  相似文献

The importance of bacteria in the anaerobic bioremediation of groundwater polluted with organic and/or metal contaminants is well recognized and in some instances so well understood that modeling of the in situ metabolic activity of the relevant subsurface microorganisms in response to changes in subsurface geochemistry is feasible. However, a potentially significant factor influencing bacterial growth and activity in the subsurface that has not been adequately addressed is protozoan predation of the microorganisms responsible for bioremediation. In field experiments at a uranium-contaminated aquifer located in Rifle, CO, USA, acetate amendments initially promoted the growth of metal-reducing Geobacter species, followed by the growth of sulfate reducers, as observed previously. Analysis of 18S rRNA gene sequences revealed a broad diversity of sequences closely related to known bacteriovorous protozoa in the groundwater before the addition of acetate. The bloom of Geobacter species was accompanied by a specific enrichment of sequences most closely related to the ameboid flagellate, Breviata anathema, which at their peak accounted for over 80% of the sequences recovered. The abundance of Geobacter species declined following the rapid emergence of B. anathema. The subsequent growth of sulfate-reducing Peptococcaceae was accompanied by another specific enrichment of protozoa, but with sequences most similar to diplomonadid flagellates from the family Hexamitidae, which accounted for up to 100% of the sequences recovered during this phase of the bioremediation. These results suggest a prey–predator response with specific protozoa responding to increased availability of preferred prey bacteria. Thus, quantifying the influence of protozoan predation on the growth, activity and composition of the subsurface bacterial community is essential for predictive modeling of in situ uranium bioremediation strategies.  相似文献

DcuS/DcuR two component system (TCS) was firstly employed for the expression of the gfp gene under the dcuB gene promoter in aerobic condition to develop high throughput screening system able to screen microorganisms producing high amount of fumarate. However, the DcuS/DcuR TCS could not produce a signal strong enough to mediate the expression of the gfp gene responding fumarate concentration. Thus, DcuS/DucR TCS was engineered by recruiting the EnvZ/OmpR system, the most-studied TCS in E. coli. A chimeric DcuS/EnvZ (DcuSZ) TCS was constructed by fusing the sensor histidine kinase of DcuS with the cytoplasmic catalytic domain of EnvZ, in which the expression of the gfp gene or the ompC gene was mediated by the ompC gene promoter through the cognate response regulator, OmpR. The output signals produced by the chimeric DcuSZ TCS were enough to detect fumarate concentration quantatively, in which the expressions of the gfp gene and the ompC gene were proportional to the fumarate concentration in the medium. Moreover, principal component analysis of C4-dicarboxylates showed that DcuSZ chimera was highly specific to fumarate but could also respond to other C4-dicarboxylates, which strongly suggests that TCS-based high throughput screening system able to screen microorganisms producing target chemicals can be developed.  相似文献

Xizang plateau frog (Nanorana parkeri) captured in Lhasa, Tibet, China, solely lives in the subtropical plateau, where there is strong ultraviolet radiation and long duration of sunshine. Considering its harsh living environment, the frog's innate defense against microbes and environmental stress was investigated. In current study, three antimicrobial peptides (AMPs) were purified and characterized from the skin secretion of N. parkeri. The coding cDNA sequences were also cloned from the skin cDNA library of N. parkeri. By structural characterization, two peptides were identified belonging to Japonicin-1 family, and named as Japonicin-1Npa (FLLFPLMCKIQGKC) and Japonicin-1Npb (FVLPLVMCKILRKC). The third peptide isolated named Parkerin with a unique sequence of GWANTLKNVAGGLCKITGAA did not show similarity to any known amphibian AMPs. Multi-functions of three AMPs were examined (antioxidant, MCD, hemolytic etc). Their solution structures determined by CD and antimicrobial mechanisms investigated by SEM are very well consistent with their functional characters. Current result suggests that these novel multi-functional AMPs could play an important role in defending N. parkeri against environmental oxidative stress and pathogenic microorganisms, which may partially reveal the ecological adaptation of these plateau-living amphibians.  相似文献

Aquifers are among the main freshwater sources. The Raigón aquifer is susceptible to contamination, mainly by nitrate and pesticides, such as atrazine, due to increasing agricultural activities in the area. The capacity of indigenous bacteria to attenuate nitrate contamination in different wells of this aquifer was assessed by measuring denitrification rates with either acetate plus succinate or nitrate amendments. Denitrification activity in nitrate-amended assays was significantly higher than in unamended assays, particularly in groundwater from wells where nitrate concentration was 33.5 mg L−1 or lower. Furthermore, groundwater denitrifiers capable of using acetate or succinate as electron donors were isolated, identified by 16S rRNA gene sequencing and evaluated for functional denitrification genes (nirS, nirK and nosZ). Phylogenetic affiliation of 54 isolates showed that all members belonged to nine different genera within the Proteobacteria (Bosea, Ochrobactrum, Azospira, Zoogloea, Acidovorax, Achromobacter, Vogesella, Stenotrophomonas and Pseudomonas). In addition, isolate AR28 that clustered separately from validly described species could potentially belong to a new genus. The majority of the isolates were related to species belonging to previously reported denitrifying genera. However, the phylogeny of the nirS and nosZ genes revealed new sequences of these functional genes. To our knowledge, this is the first isolation and sequencing of the nirS gene from the genus Vogesella, as well as the nosZ gene from the genera Acidovorax and Zoogloea. The results indicated that indigenous bacteria in the Raigón aquifer had the capacity to overcome high nitrate contamination and exhibited functional gene diversity.  相似文献

Although stimulation of dissimilatory metal reduction to promote the reductive precipitation of uranium has been shown to successfully remove uranium from some aquifer sediments, the organisms in the family Geobacteraceae that have been found to be associated with metal reduction in previous studies are not known to grow at the high salinities found in some uranium-contaminated groundwaters. Studies with a highly saline uranium-contaminated aquifer sediment demonstrated that the addition of acetate could stimulate the removal of U(VI) from the groundwater. This removal was associated with an enrichment in microorganisms most closely related to Pseudomonas and Desulfosporosinus species.  相似文献

The interaction of anaerobic dechlorinating cultures with soil and aquifer geochemical components is largely unknown, although this has potentially a major impact on the bioremediation of chlorinated solvent-contaminated sites. In this study, we found that addition of magnetite (Fe3O4) – the end-product of Fe(III)-reduction by dissimilatory iron reducing bacteria – to anaerobic dechlorinating cultures enhances the kinetics of trichloroethene dechlorination up to 1.5-times, compared to unamended controls. Specifically, a low concentration (approx. 10 mg/L as total Fe) of small size particles (200 nm-filtered) resulted in a greater stimulatory effect compared to the addition of a higher concentration (approx. 300 mg/L as total Fe) of unfiltered particles. Notably, Desulforomonas spp. were substantially enriched in microcosms supplemented with magnetite, whereas Dehalococcoides mccartyi spp. was found to be markedly inhibited or outcompeted. Multiple lines of evidence, including the direct visualization of microbial cells and magnetite particles via Confocal Laser Scanning Microscopy (CLSM), suggest that electrically conductive particles promoted the establishment of a cooperative metabolism, based on direct interspecies electron transfer, between dechlorinating and non-dechlorinating microorganisms.  相似文献

Biofilms can provide a number of different ecological niches for microorganisms. Here, a multispecies biofilm was studied in which pyrite-oxidizing microbes are the primary producers. Its stability allowed not only detailed fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH)-based characterization of the microbial population in different areas of the biofilm but also to integrate these results with oxygen and pH microsensor measurements conducted before. The O2 concentration declined rapidly from the outside to the inside of the biofilm. Hence, part of the population lives under microoxic or anoxic conditions. Leptospirillum ferrooxidans strains dominate the microbial population but are only located in the oxic periphery of the snottite structure. Interestingly, archaea were identified only in the anoxic parts of the biofilm. The archaeal community consists mainly of so far uncultured Thermoplasmatales as well as novel ARMAN (Archaeal Richmond Mine Acidophilic Nanoorganism) species. Inductively coupled plasma analysis and X-ray absorption near edge structure spectra provide further insight in the biofilm characteristics but revealed no other major factors than oxygen affecting the distribution of bacteria and archaea. In addition to catalyzed reporter deposition FISH and oxygen microsensor measurements, microautoradiographic FISH was used to identify areas in which active CO2 fixation takes place. Leptospirilla as well as acidithiobacilli were identified as primary producers. Fixation of gaseous CO2 seems to proceed only in the outer rim of the snottite. Archaea inhabiting the snottite core do not seem to contribute to the primary production. This work gives insight in the ecological niches of acidophilic microorganisms and their role in a consortium. The data provided the basis for the enrichment of uncultured archaea.  相似文献

Selected PvDBP-derived synthetic peptides were tested in competition assays with HLA molecules in order to identify and evaluate their binding to a wide range of MHC class II molecules. Binding was evaluated as the peptide’s ability to displace the biotinylated control peptide (HA306-318) and was detected by a conventional ELISA. Thus, one epitope for the HLA-DR1 molecule, two epitopes for the HLA-DR4 molecule, six epitopes for the HLA-DR7 molecule and three epitopes for the HLA-DR11 molecule displaying a high binding percentage (above 50%) were experimentally obtained. The in vitro results were compared with the epitope prediction results. Two peptides behaved as universal epitopes since they bound to a larger number of HLA-DR molecules. Given that these peptides are located in the conserved PvDBP region II, they could be considered good candidates to be included in the design of a synthetic vaccine against Plasmodium vivax malaria.  相似文献

Anaerobic nitrate-dependent Fe(II) oxidation is widespread in various environments and is known to be performed by both heterotrophic and autotrophic microorganisms. Although Fe(II) oxidation is predominantly biological under acidic conditions, to date most of the studies on nitrate-dependent Fe(II) oxidation were from environments of circumneutral pH. The present study was conducted in Lake Grosse Fuchskuhle, a moderately acidic ecosystem receiving humic acids from an adjacent bog, with the objective of identifying, characterizing and enumerating the microorganisms responsible for this process. The incubations of sediment under chemolithotrophic nitrate-dependent Fe(II)-oxidizing conditions have shown the enrichment of TM3 group of uncultured Actinobacteria. A time-course experiment done on these Actinobacteria showed a consumption of Fe(II) and nitrate in accordance with the expected stoichiometry (1:0.2) required for nitrate-dependent Fe(II) oxidation. Quantifications done by most probable number showed the presence of 1 × 104 autotrophic and 1 × 107 heterotrophic nitrate-dependent Fe(II) oxidizers per gram fresh weight of sediment. The analysis of microbial community by 16S rRNA gene amplicon pyrosequencing showed that these actinobacterial sequences correspond to ∼0.6% of bacterial 16S rRNA gene sequences. Stable isotope probing using 13CO2 was performed with the lake sediment and showed labeling of these Actinobacteria. This indicated that they might be important autotrophs in this environment. Although these Actinobacteria are not dominant members of the sediment microbial community, they could be of functional significance due to their contribution to the regeneration of Fe(III), which has a critical role as an electron acceptor for anaerobic microorganisms mineralizing sediment organic matter. To the best of our knowledge this is the first study to show the autotrophic nitrate-dependent Fe(II)-oxidizing nature of TM3 group of uncultured Actinobacteria.  相似文献

Diatoms (Chrysophyta) are photosynthetic microorganisms that are abundant in the natural environment and often associated with specific habitat and water quality conditions. Their significance as bioindicators and as exploitable sources of fine chemicals makes them desirable candidates for the study of stress responses. The protein expression of a thermo-intolerant (Phaeodactylum tricornutum) and thermo-tolerant (Chaetoceros muelleri) diatom following exposure to elevated temperature was investigated using one- and two-dimensional gel electrophoresis and Western blot analysis. It was determined using SDS PAGE with 35S-methionine labeled proteins and Western blot analysis using pea HSP70 antisera that higher temperatures and longer duration treatment were required to cause a noticeable stress response in C. muelleri compared to P. tricornutum. This may be explained by C. muelleri possessing higher amounts of constitutively expressed heat shock proteins, which allows these cells to rapidly adjust to temperature increases. Two-dimensional gel electrophoresis revealed that putative small heat shock proteins (smHSPs) may appear to play a role during heat stress in both diatoms, which is similar to the response in plants. SDS PAGE data are also presented characterizing the recovery of P. tricornutum after heat shock. These results suggest that there is a lag period between heat shock and stress protein synthesis in these thermo-intolerant cells. This supports the hypothesis that cells without higher amounts of constitutively expressed stress proteins have a greater sensitivity to increased temperature. Work is underway to identify particular stress proteins responsible for conveying thermo-tolerance and to determine if overexpression of these genes in thermo-intolerant diatoms affects their temperature sensitivity.  相似文献

Samples of Haplorchis taichui and Haplorchis pumilio of different life-stages (cercariae, metacercariae and adults) and from different host species (snail, fish, dog, cat and human) were collected in Nghe An and Nam Dinh Provinces in Vietnam. Samples from Thailand were available for comparison. All adults and metacercariae were initially identified using morphological criteria. Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) assays were developed for discriminating between the species. The complete sequence for the nuclear ribosomal internal transcribed spacer-2 (ITS-2) was obtained from one adult and one metacercaria of H. taichui and three adults and three metacercariae of H. pumilio from Vietnam. Sequences from cercariae from three different snails clustered with those of H. pumilio. Intra-individual variation in the ITS-2 region was detected by sequencing of cloned PCR products. These are the first sequences from Vietnamese Haplorchis spp. to be reported and demonstrate that H. taichui and H. pumilio can be identified unambiguously from any life-stage, including the cercarial stage that is difficult to identify using morphology. Discrepancies in the literature are discussed and examples of apparent misidentification highlighted. The data provide a resource to assist in taxonomic studies on heterophyids, in the design of probes for diagnosis and for field surveys to identify infection in snails.  相似文献

Do patchy distribution patterns of infaunal polychaetes result from active site selection of larvae influenced by sediment-associated microbial cues? This hypothesis was tested with still-water laboratory settlement assays revealing the acceptance or rejection of polychaete larvae to qualitatively different sediments. Laboratory brood cultures of the spionid polychaetes Polydora cornuta and Streblospio benedicti yielded a sufficient number of larvae with planktotrophic development for bioassays. High settlement rates (75-95%) of test larvae were observed in response to natural sediment. Sterilization of natural sediment significantly decreased settlement of P. cornuta (25-55%) while combustion of sediment significantly decreased the settlement rate in both species (5-50%). Differences in settlement responses to sediments treated by sterilization or combustion most likely resulted from a variety of factors such as modified sediment fabric, grain size distribution and quantity of adsorbed organic matter. To experimentally address the potential role of microorganisms and microbial metabolites as mediators of larval settlement, ashed sediment was inoculated with viable microorganisms obtained from natural sediment. In both polychaete species, this treatment significantly increased larval settlement in comparison to the control of ashed sediment indicating that larval settlement was at least partially mediated by the presence of microorganisms associated with sediment.  相似文献

Serum from successful vaccine trials against the sheep scab mite, Psoroptes ovis, was used to immunoscreen a cDNA library constructed from mixed-stage and gender P. ovis to identify potential recombinant vaccine candidates. Immunodominant recombinant proteins recognised by IgG in these sera were selected for further analysis. Two candidates were identified in this way; a catchin-like protein (CLP) and a novel mu class glutathione S-transferase (GST). Both candidates were expressed in bacteria as recombinant proteins, the GST as an active enzyme, and combined with four other recombinant allergens in a multi-component recombinant vaccine. Strong serum IgG responses were induced in sheep against each of the components of the recombinant vaccine, however, the protective efficacy of the vaccine could not be determined because of variability in the establishment of a challenge infection.  相似文献

Phosphorus is one of the major nutrients, and microbial solubilisation of insoluble mineral phosphate in soil is an important process in natural ecosystem and in agricultural soil. Many soil microorganisms display the ability to solubilize many insoluble inorganic phosphates. They are generally referred as phosphorus solubilising microorganisms (PSM). In this study an attempt was made to look into the phosphorus solubilisation efficiency of some commonly available soil bacteria and their possible application in bio-beneficiation of metallurgical waste like LD Slag. Linz -Donawitz (LD) slag is produced in large quantities (200 kg LD slag per ton of hot metal) and poses a substantial disposal problem in the iron and steel making industry. LD slag contains around 29% Ca, 21% Fe, and 5% Mg. Its phosphorus content is about 1.5-6%. Due to presence of high amount of Ca, it can be used as flux in blast furnace, but presence of high amount of phosphorus in the LD slag makes them unsuitable for industrial application. Removal of phosphorus with the help of phosphorus solubilising microorganisms may be a great advantage in biotechnological applications. Two gram positive bacteria belonging to genus Bacillus and two gram negative bacteria belonging to genus Pseudomonas were selected in this study. Phosphorus solubilisation efficiency was studied initially with tricalcium phosphate as model insoluble phosphate compound at different sugar concentration, NaCl concentration and at different initial pH of the medium. About 35% of ‘P’ could be solubilized from LD slag by Pseudomonas aeruginosa at 2% solid content.  相似文献

In response to stressful conditions like supra-optimal salinity in the growth medium or temperature, many microorganisms accumulate low-molecular-mass organic compounds known as compatible solutes. In contrast with mesophiles that accumulate neutral or zwitterionic compounds, the solutes of hyperthermophiles are typically negatively charged. (2R)-2-(α-d-Mannopyranosyl)glycerate (herein abbreviated as mannosylglycerate) is one of the most widespread solutes among thermophilic and hyperthermophilic prokaryotes. In this work, several molecules chemically related to mannosylglycerate were synthesized, namely (2S)-2-(1-O-α-d-mannopyranosyl)propionate, 2-(1-O-α-d-mannopyranosyl)acetate, (2R)-2-(1-O-α-d-glucopyranosyl)glycerate and 1-O-(2-glyceryl)-α-d-mannopyranoside. The effectiveness of the newly synthesized compounds for the protection of model enzymes against heat-induced denaturation, aggregation and inactivation was evaluated, using differential scanning calorimetry, light scattering and measurements of residual activity. For comparison, the protection induced by natural compatible solutes, either neutral (e.g., trehalose, glycerol, ectoine) or negatively charged (di-myo-inositol-1,3′-phosphate and diglycerol phosphate), was assessed. Phosphate, sulfate, acetate and KCl were also included in the assays to rank the solutes and new compounds in the Hofmeister series. The data demonstrate the superiority of charged organic solutes as thermo-stabilizers of enzymes and strongly support the view that the extent of protein stabilization rendered by those solutes depends clearly on the specific solute/enzyme examined. The relevance of these findings to our knowledge on the mode of action of charged solutes is discussed.  相似文献

A culture-independent molecular phylogenetic approach was used to survey constituents of microbial communities associated with an aquifer contaminated with hydrocarbons (mainly jet fuel) and chlorinated solvents undergoing intrinsic bioremediation. Samples were obtained from three redox zones: methanogenic, methanogenic-sulfate reducing, and iron or sulfate reducing. Small-subunit rRNA genes were amplified directly from aquifer material DNA by PCR with universally conserved or Bacteria- or Archaea-specific primers and were cloned. A total of 812 clones were screened by restriction fragment length polymorphisms (RFLP), approximately 50% of which were unique. All RFLP types that occurred more than once in the libraries, as well as many of the unique types, were sequenced. A total of 104 (94 bacterial and 10 archaeal) sequence types were determined. Of the 94 bacterial sequence types, 10 have no phylogenetic association with known taxonomic divisions and are phylogenetically grouped in six novel division level groups (candidate divisions WS1 to WS6); 21 belong to four recently described candidate divisions with no cultivated representatives (OP5, OP8, OP10, and OP11); and 63 are phylogenetically associated with 10 well-recognized divisions. The physiology of two particularly abundant sequence types obtained from the methanogenic zone could be inferred from their phylogenetic association with groups of microorganisms with a consistent phenotype. One of these sequence types is associated with the genus Syntrophus; Syntrophus spp. produce energy from the anaerobic oxidation of organic acids, with the production of acetate and hydrogen. The organism represented by the other sequence type is closely related to Methanosaeta spp., which are known to be capable of energy generation only through aceticlastic methanogenesis. We hypothesize, therefore, that the terminal step of hydrocarbon degradation in the methanogenic zone of the aquifer is aceticlastic methanogenesis and that the microorganisms represented by these two sequence types occur in syntrophic association.  相似文献
