Diurnal fluctuations of acid-alkaline balance and blood gas composition were studied in March on 20 healthy males aged 20-26. Using cosinor analysis, mesors, amplitudes and acrophases were revealed. Calculated acrophases (in h and min) are as follows: pH--16 h 05 min, standard hydrogen carbonate--18 h 45 min, actual hydrogen carbonate--22 h 55 min, buffer bases--19 h 03 min, pCO2--2 h 47 min, pO2--4 h 39 min, HbO2--8 h 07 min, hemoglobin--14 h 16 min. All the values studied during diurnal cycle correlated, forming certain circadian rhythms. 相似文献

Charge is a fundamental property of macromolecules in solution. However, estimation of the apparent charge on polyions has confounded science for decades. Presented here is a general method to determine directly the apparent charge on a polyion, regardless of its size or shape. This new method uses equilibrium electrophoresis, a procedure in which opposing solute flows from electrophoresis and from diffusion balance everywhere as the system reaches a steady-state distribution. The method uses only small quantities of materials, is nondestructive, and requires only simple, inexpensive instrumentation. Here we describe a prototype apparatus, demonstrate the phenomenon, and present experimental examples of the procedure. 相似文献

The state of the acid-base balance and of the blood coagulation system was studied in starvation of young (5-6-month-old) and old (24-26-month-old) male rats during starvation. The periods of the maximal changes coincided in both systems; in the young animals the onset of the acidotic crisis and hypercoagulation development occurred earliear and were more pronounced. Old animals proved to be more resistant to the conditions of starvation and died later than the young ones. 相似文献

The paper deals with possibility to regulate in a proper direction the acid-base state in race horse blood administering carbostimulin at rest and under physical exercises. The preparation is shown to favour an increase in alkaline blood reserves in race hours at rest and to prevent acidotic changes caused by physical exercises. The results obtained show a promising use of carbostimulin for the directed correction of the acid-base state of blood in race horses aimed at increasing the efficiency of the training process. 相似文献
