北京地区的烟青虫(Helicover Pa asslta Cucn(?)e)的性信息素腺体提取物经毛细管柱气相色谱分析及GC MS分析,鉴定了6种组分.这6种组分为:十六醛(16:Ald)、顺 9—十六烯醛(Z9—16:Ald)、顺11—十六烯醛(Zll 16:Ald)、顺9—十六烯醇(Z9-16:OH)、顺11—十六烯醇(Zll-16:OH)、顺9—十六烯基乙酸酯(Z9 16:OAc),比例为10.9:58.7:3.9:14.7:1.1:10.7.田间试验表明,只有16:Ald、Z9 16:Ald和Zll 16:Ald(比例为15.3:79.2:5.5)组成的三组分诱芯和Z9—16:Ald和Zll—16:Ald(比例为93.4:6.6)组成的两组分诱芯对于雄蛾有强烈的引诱活性.在3种醛为组分的诱芯中加入Z9 16:OH明显地降低引诱活性.  相似文献

Abstract  The sex pheromone gland extracts of the Oriental tobacco budworm, Helicover assulta Guenée, collected from North China in Beijing area, were analyzed by capillary gas chromatograph(GC) and 6 components from the extracts were identified by capillary GC—MS as hexadecanal (16:Ald), (Z)9-hexadecenal (Z9–16:Ald), (Z)-11-hexadecenal (Z11–16:Ald), (Z)-9-hexadecen-1-ol (Z9–16:OH), Z11-hexadecen-1-ol (Z11–16:OH), Z-9-hexadecenylacetate (Z9–16:OAc) at a ratio of 10. 9: 58. 7: 3. 9: 14. 7: 1.1: 10. 7. Field studies indicated that an optimum blend of Z9–16:Ald and Z11–16:Ald was 100: 7. Addition of 16: Ald or Z9–16:Ac to the two aldehyde blend showed no significant effect on attractiveness. However presence of Z9–16:OH in the blends significantly reduced male captures.  相似文献

Female-tip washings of the leafroller moth, Pandemis cerasana, were found to contain (E)-11-tetradecenyl acetate, (Z)-11-tetradecenyl acetate, (E)-11-tetradecenol, (Z)-11-tetradecenol and tetradecyl acetate, based on chemical analysis and electroantennogram tests. The relative amounts of these compounds in the gland were ca. 64:21:10:3:2 in the order named. Only (E)-11 and (Z)-11-tetradecenyl acetate were required for attraction of males to trap dispensed in the ratio 3:1, respectively.  相似文献

The electrophysiological and behavioural responses of male Sesamia nonagrioides Lefèbvre (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae) to several synthetic blends of its sex pheromone components were investigated. Electroantennogram (EAG) recordings showed the greatest response to a 77:8:10:5 blend of the four compounds found in the female glands: (Z)-11-hexadecen-1-yl acetate, (Z)-11-hexadecen-1-ol, (Z)-11-hexadecenal and dodecyl acetate. A logistic equation was fitted to the dose-response data and differences in relative EAG responses were analysed by deriving five parameters of this equation. Flight responses of males were also evaluated in a wind tunnel where the proposed blend (77:8:10:5) also elicited the best response. Field tests confirmed the laboratory findings as the 77:8:10:5 blend captured more S. nonagrioides males than other pheromone mixtures and showed more selectivity for male S. nonagrioides over other noctuid species, Discestra trifolii Rottenberg and Lacanobia oleracea L., but not for Mythimna unipuncta Haworth, a species with a sex pheromone composition almost identical to that of S. nonagrioides.  相似文献

Traps baited with Z11-16:Ac, Z11-16:Ald, Z11-16:OH, and Z13-18:Ac, singly or in mixtures, were tested for their attractivity for males of microlepidoptera in an apple orchard, a mixed deciduous forest, and a coniferous forest. In particular, Z11-16:Ac and Z11-16: Ald attracted some Crambinae, one Glyphipteryx species, and several species of Argyresthia, including the injurous species A. fundella (on fir), A. conjugella (on apple), A. pruniella (on cherry), and A. thuiella (on Thuja).

Résumé L'attraction de microlépidoptères par des hexadécènes 11Z a été examinée en 1982 et 1983 à l'aide de pièges sexuels placés dans différents biotopes de Hollande. Ces pièges contenaient différents mélanges synthétiques d'acétoxy-1-hexadécènes 11Z (Z11-16:Ac), d'hexadécènal 11Z (Z11-16:Ald), d'hexadécénol 11Z (Z11-16:OH) et d'acétoxyl-1-octadécène 13Z (Z13-18:Ac). Les pièges étaient placés dans un verger de pommiers, dans un bois de feuillus aux essences diverses et dans un bois de résineux. Des mâles de 10 espèces de lépidoptères ont été capturés avec ces mélanges, parmi lesquels ceux de 3 espèces de Pyralidae, d'une espèce du genre Glyphipteryx et de 6 espèces du genre Argyresthia. Parmi les Argyresthia, certaines espèces sont considérées comme des déprédateurs: A. fundella sur sapin (Abies), A. conjugella sur pommier (Malus), A. pruniella sur cerisier (Prunus) et A. thuiella sur Thuja. Enfin, un tableau fournit 28 produits contenant des hexadécènes Z11 actuellement connus comme attractifs sexuels de microlépidoptères; la majorité des espèces appartient aux sous-familles Crambinae, Argyresthiinae, Glyphipteryginae et Acrolepiinae.

The sex pheromone blend of the butterbur borer, Ostrinia zaguliaevi (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae) was analyzed by means of gas chromatography-electroantennographic detection (GC-EAD), GC-mass spectrometry and a series of wind-tunnel bioassays. Four EAD-active compounds were detected in the female sex pheromone gland extract, and these were identified as tetradecyl acetate (14:OAc), (Z)-9-tetradecenyl acetate (Z9-14:OAc), (E)-11-tetradecenyl acetate (E11-14:OAc) and (Z)-11-tetradecenyl acetate (Z11-14:OAc). The average amounts ± s.d. of the four compounds in a single sex pheromone gland were 7.9±3.7 ng, 10.1±3.2 ng, 1.1±0.5 ng and 11.6±5.1 ng, respectively. In a wind-tunnel bioassay, the ternary blend of Z9-, E11- and Z11-14:OAc at a ratio found in the sex pheromone gland (45:5:50) elicited the same behavioral responses from the males as did virgin females and pheromone gland extract. Removal of any single compound from the ternary blend significantly diminished the pheromonal activity, whereas addition of 14:OAc to the ternary blend had no effect on the males' behavioral responses. Therefore, it was concluded that the sex pheromone blend of O. zaguliaevi is composed of Z9-14:OAc, E11-14:OAc and Z11-14:OAc at a ratio of 45:5:50.  相似文献

(Z)-11-hexadecenal and (Z)-9-hexadecenal were ineffective lures forH. armigera males unless combined. Attraction depended upon perception of a 90%–99% combination of (Z)-11-hexadecenal with 1%–10% (Z)-9-hexadecenal. Increasing the level of (Z)-9-hexadecenal in the mixture to 26.2% reduced catches. Adding 2.3% (Z)-7-hexadecenal to the mixture did not enhance or reduce attraction, while adding 8.7% (Z)-11-hexadecenol significantly reduced male catches. The combination of (Z)-11-hexadecenal and (Z)-9-hexadecenal was effective only when released from rubber dispensers but not from polyethylene vials. A load of 2 mg of the mixture on rubber dispensers effectively attracted males for at least 31 days. TheH. zea lure which contained all the pheromonal components of that species was also effective in attractingH. armigera males. TheH. virescens lure attracted significantly fewerH. armigera males than theH. zea lure.
Résumé Les (Z)-11-hexadecenal et (Z)-9-hexadecenal sont des attractifs sexuels in efficaces pour les mâles deH. armigera. L'attraction dépend de la perception d'un mélange de 90 à 99% de (Z)-11-hexadecenal avec 1 à 10% (Z)-9-hexadecenal, L'augmentation jusqu'à 26,2% de la teneur en (Z)-9-hexadecenal réduit les captures. L'addition de 2,3% de (Z)-7-hexadecenal au mélange ne modifie pas l'attractivité, tandis que celle de 8,7% de (Z)-11-hexadecenol, réduit significativement les captures de mâles. Le mêlange de (Z)-11-hexadecenal et de (Z)-9-hexadecenal n'a été efficace qu'avec des diffuseurs en caoutchouc, par contre il a été sans effet à partir de récipients de polyéthylène. Une charge de 2 mg de mélange dans des diffuseurs en caoutchouc attire effectivement les mâles pendant ou moins 31 jours. L'attractif sexuel deH. zea qui contient tous les constituants de la phéromone de cette espèce attire aussi efficacement les mâles deH. armigera. Celui deH. virescens attire significativement moins de mâles deH. armigera que l'attractif sexuel deH. zea.

The major sex pheromone compound of the spotted tentiform leafminer, Phyllonorycter blancardella (F.) (Lepidoptera: Gracillariidae), from Ontario, Canada, was identified as (10E)‐dodecen‐1‐yl acetate (E10‐12:Ac) using chemical analysis and field trapping experiments. The minor compounds (10E)‐dodecen‐1‐ol (E10‐12:OH) (4.6%), dodecan‐1‐ol (12:OH) (2.3%), and (10Z)‐dodecen‐1‐yl acetate (Z10‐12:Ac) 1.6% were also identified. The dienic acetate (4E,10E)‐dodecadien‐1‐yl acetate (E4,E10‐12:Ac), a compound reported to be attractive to P. blancardella, was not found in the glands of this population. A two‐component blend of the major and one of each the three minor compounds, in ratios similar to those found in the sex pheromone gland, did not increase the attractiveness of traps baited with synthetic pheromone. The minor compounds E10‐12:OH and 12:OH were not attractive to P. blancardella when tested individually. Z10‐12:Ac was attractive to P. blancardella, although traps baited with this compound captured only 2% of the moths that were captured in traps baited with the main compound. A four‐component blend of the major and each of the three minor compounds (100 : 1 : 1 : 1) was not more attractive than the major compound alone. The related species Phyllonorycter mespilella was captured in traps baited with E10‐12:Ac.  相似文献

Field responses of Gortyna xanthenes (Germar) males to traps baited with different mixtures of the female sex pheromone components were evaluated in an artichoke field. Catches were compared to those obtained by virgin females and light traps. The best results were achieved by utilizing a mixture of 5 mg Z11-16:Ald + 0.15 mg Z9-16:Ald + 0.15 mg 16:Ald + 0.12 mg Z11-16:OH, which captured only G. xanthenes males 3–5 times more than light traps and ca two times more than one virgin female. Starting from the basic mixture Z11-16:Ald (89–92%) + Z9-16:Ald (2–4%), the addition of 16:Ald (2–4%) and of Z11-16:OH (2–3%) produced an increase of G. xanthenes and a decrease of H, armigera (Hb.) catches. The inhibitory action of Z11-16:OH towards H. armigera males was confirmed.
Evaluation sur le terrain des constituants de la phéromone sexuelle de la noctuelle de l'artichaut (Gortyna xanthenes)
Résumé Dans un champ d'artichaut de la province de Salerno on a evalué la réponse des mâles de G. xanthenes à mélanges divers des constituants de la phéromone sexuelle produite par la femelle. Les meilleurs résultats ont été obtenus en employant un mélange de 5 mg Z11-16:Ald + 0.15 mg Z9-16:Ald + 0.15 mg 16:Ald + 0.12 mg Z11-16:OH, qui a capturé seulement les mâles de G. xanthenes en mesure 3–5 fois plus élevée que les pièges lumineux et ca. deux fois plus élevée que la femelle vierge. En partant du mélange base Z11-16:Ald (89–92%) + Z9-16:Ald (2–4%), l'addition de 16:Ald (2–4%) et de Z11-16:OH (2–3%) a causé un accroissement des captures de G. xanthenes et une diminution des captures de Heliothis armigera. Cela confirme l'action inhibitoire du Z11-16:OH à l'égard des males de H. armigera.

Previously, we demonstrated that sex pheromone production in mated female Heliothis virescens moths is dependent upon hemolymph trehalose concentration (HTC), which is influenced by activities such as the feeding of adults on sucrose. In this paper we demonstrate, for the first time, that this effect also occurs in starved (i.e., sugar-stressed) virgin females. Females allowed to feed on sugar for 6 days, following eclosion, had significantly greater titers than females that had fed only on water (i.e., were starved). No differences in pheromone titer were observed between sugar- and water-fed females at shorter (1 or 3 days) periods following eclosion. The relatively short-term effects of HTC on sex pheromone titer of virgins, were demonstrated by feeding experiments, in which starved (for 4 days) virgins fed on 10% sucrose solution had significantly greater HTC and pheromone titers than ones fed only on water; an increase in HTC was apparent within an hour, while the increase in pheromone titer was apparent within 2.5 h, of sugar feeding. Starvation also showed similar effects on titers of pheromone gland fatty acids (pheromone intermediates) and HTC. Over 6 days of starvation, fatty acid titers and HTC declined gradually. After feeding on sucrose, titers of hexadecanoic, (Z)-9-hexadecanoic, (Z)-11-hexadecanoic and (Z)-9-octadecanoic, acids, as well as HTC, increased significantly 24 h later, but titers of octadecanoic and (Z,Z)-9,12-octadecanoic (linoleic) acids did not. Lepidoptera cannot biosynthesize polyunsaturated acids, but the lack of change in octadecanoic acid titer suggests this acid may not participate in pheromone biosynthesis. In addition to these short-term changes in pheromone and fatty acid production, mediated by HTC, a longer-term effect of age, regardless of HTC, on pheromone titer was observed. Overall, these results are consistent with hemolymph trehalose and glandular fatty acids acting as twin metabolite reservoirs for pheromone biosynthesis. Hemolymph trehalose, able to be refilled through feeding on exogenous sugars, has a one-way flow of metabolites for synthesis of glandular free fatty acids (FFAs) and pheromone, while glandular glycerolipids provide a reversible reservoir for metabolites, accepting surplus FFAs when glandular concentrations are high, and providing FFAs for pheromone biosynthesis when concentrations are low.  相似文献

Extracts of the female sex pheromone gland of the carpenterworm moth, Holcocerus vicarius (Walker) (Lepidoptera: Cossidae), a pest of Ulmus pumila L. (Ulmaceae), were found to contain Z7‐tetradecenyl acetate (Z7‐14Ac), E3‐tetradecenyl acetate (E3‐14Ac), (Z3,E5)‐tetradecenyl acetate (Z3,E5‐14Ac), and Z7‐tetradecenyl alcohol (Z7‐14OH) by coupled gas chromatographic‐electroantennographic detection (GC‐EAD) and coupled gas chromatography‐mass spectrometry (GC‐MS). Field trapping studies with impregnated rubber septa indicated that Z7‐14Ac was essential for attraction of males of H. vicarius. However, the most attractive blend contained Z7‐14Ac, E3‐14Ac, Z3,E5‐14Ac, and Z7‐14OH in a 50:22:17:10 ratio. Our results demonstrated that a blend of Z7‐14Ac, E3‐14Ac, Z3,E5‐14Ac, and Z7‐14OH represented the sex pheromone of H. vicarius. The optimized four‐component lure blend may be useful for monitoring H. vicarius infestations and mating disruption.  相似文献

Diamondback moth, Plutella xylostella (L.), is a worldwide agricultural pest that has developed resistance to many insecticides used for its control. Population structure and gene flow are yet to be determined for P. xylostella in Australia, but are important factors for the design of effective control strategies. We have isolated six polymorphic microsatellite markers: three from a partial genomic library, two from an Expressed Sequence Tagged library and one from an aminopeptidase intron of P. xylostella. These microsatellites will be used to determine population structure and gene flow in Australian populations of P. xylostella to improve insecticide resistance management.  相似文献

The allium leafminer, Acrolepiopsis sapporensis Matsumura (Lepidoptera: Acrolepiidae), is a pest of Allium species (Liliaceae) in Asia and Hawaii, USA. We identified candidate sex pheromone components in pheromone gland extracts of female moths and field tested the response of male moths to blends with different components and ratios. Gas chromatographic comparison of abdominal tip extracts from both sexes showed three female‐specific components: (Z)‐11‐hexadecenal (Z11‐16:Ald), (Z)‐11‐hexadecenyl acetate (Z11‐16:OAc), and (Z)‐11‐hexadecen‐1‐ol (Z11‐16:OH). These compounds were identified by mass spectral analysis of natural pheromone components and dimethyldisulfide adducts, and retention index comparisons with synthetic standards. The average ratio of three components, Z11‐16:Ald, Z11‐16:OAc, and Z11‐16:OH, in female extract was 33:100:14. Field trapping experiments indicated that all three components were essential for maximal attraction of male moths. Traps baited with a ternary blend mimicking the blend found in the pheromone gland extracts caught significantly more males than traps baited with caged live females. Increasing doses of the pheromone blend in the lures from 0.01 to 1.0 mg increased catches of male A. sapporensis.  相似文献

The sex pheromone of the pear moth, Cydia pyrivora, is (E,E)-8,10-dodecadien-yl acetate. A 5%-addition of the geometric isomers E,Z and Z,Z decreased male attraction in the field, the Z,E isomer had no significant effect. Traps baited with 10 µg E,E on grey rubber septa were attractive throughout the flight period of C. pyrivora. These traps allow specific detection of pear moth, and they are not attractive to its sibling species, codling moth C. pomonella.  相似文献

Four EAG-active components were detected in GC-EAG analyses of hexane extracts from virgin Etiella behrii (Zeller) (Lepidoptera: Pyralidae) females. These components were identified as dodecyl acetate (12:Ac), (E)-9-dodecenyl acetate (E9-12:Ac), either (Z)-9- or (E)-11-tetradecenyl acetate (Z9- or E11-14:Ac), and (Z)-11-tetradecenyl acetate (Z11-14:Ac) by comparison of retention indices on both nonpolar and polar GC columns. The available extract was insufficient for further GC-MS or other chemical analyses (<0.2 ng/female). In field tests carried out in East Java, a 10:90 mixture of E9-12:Ac and Z11-14:Ac showed attractiveness to male moths and addition of 12:Ac and/or E11-14:Ac significantly increased the trap catches while addition of Z9-14:Ac showed no significant effect. Maximum attraction was obtained with 5.35 or 10.7 g/rubber septum of a mixture of E9-12:Ac, Z11-14:Ac, 12:Ac and E11-14:Ac at the ratio of 10:90:0.7:6.3, respectively. The role of pheromone blends in species discrimination between E. behrii and the related E. zinckenella (Treitschke) is discussed.  相似文献

Abstract. In addition to the pheromone components (Z)-5-decenyl, (Z)-7-dodecenyl and (Z)-9-tetradecenyl acetate (Z5-10:OAc, Z7-12:OAc and Z9-14:OAc), it has previously been shown that the sex pheromone gland of the turnip moth, Agrotis segetum (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae Schiff) contains 10:OAc, 12:OAc, Z5-12:OAc, Z9-12:OAc, 11–12:OAc, Z5-14:OAc, Z7-14:OAc and Z11-16:OAc. To find out whether any of these additional compounds is involved in the sex pheromone communication in A. segetum, a comprehensive electro-physiological and behavioural investigation was conducted. Single-sensillum recordings on male antennae revealed three subtypes of sensilla among the previously so-called Z5-10:OAc sensilla. One subtype was identified having one receptor neurone (A) that responded to Z5-10:OAc with a large spike amplitude and another neurone (B) that responded to (Z)-5-decenol (Z5-10:OH) with a small spike amplitude. In another subtype the B neurone responded to Z5-12:OAc and sometimes also to 27-12:OAc and 10:OAc, in addition to responding to Z5-10:OH. In a third subtype the A neurone responded to all acetates identified from the female pheromone gland, whereas the small spike amplitude neurone was tuned to Z5-10:OH. A flight tunnel assay showed that blends composed of nine, eight or seven compounds were equivalent to the previously identified three-component pheromone blend in eliciting male behavioural responses. In field trapping tests, blends of eleven, nine or seven compounds did, however, catch significantly more moths than the three-component blend. Further assays showed that only 25- 12:OAc could significantly increase the catch numbers when added to the three-component blend, and thus qualified as a fourth pheromone component in A. segerum. The behavioural significance of additional female-produced acetates — for which males possess antennal receptors — is suggested, but may be impossible to confirm because of ‘diminishing returns’ when trying to refine a multicomponent pheromone further.  相似文献

By means of gas chromatography with electroantennographic detection, gas chromatography-mass spectrometry and a series of bioassays, (E)-11-tetradecenyl acetate (E11-14:OAc) and (Z)-11-tetradecenyl acetate (Z11-14:OAc) at a ratio of 99:1 were identified as female sex pheromone components of Ostrinia palustralis. The average amounts of E11- 14:OAc and Z11-14:OAc in a single sex pheromone gland were 37.2±24.4 ng and 0.3±0.2 ng, respectively. In a wind-tunnel bioassay, the binary blend of E11- and Z11-14:OAc elicited the same male behavioral responses as did virgin females.  相似文献

Previous attempts to shift the (Z)-11-/(E)-11-tetradecenyl acetate ratio of pheromone components in the redbanded leafroller moth (RBLR), Argyrotaenia velutinana, by several selection protocols showed that this ratio is strongly canalized. Analysis of the complete seven-component blend, however, showed that a Geneva laboratory stock of RBLR had a lower percent (20%) of the E9–12:OAc minor component compared to the E11–14:OAc component than a population of RBLR from North Carolina (31%). Hybrid populations from these two cultures were used in a two-way family truncation selection scheme in which families were selected for either the lowest (low line) or the highest (high line) ratio of E9–12:OAc/E11–14:OAc. After three generations of selection, the low line had 14% E9–12:OAc relative to E11–14:OAc and the high line had 42%. The selection pressure was removed in generations 4–9, and the low line remained unchanged at 14% E9–12:OAc; but in the high line, it drifted to 53%. Studies were conducted to estimate heritability and realized heritability. The realized heritability calculated for each generation of selection averaged 1.14 for the low line and 1.50 for the high line. These calculations, along with estimated heritability values of 0.416 and 0.644 for reciprocal crosses, indicate some plasticity in the E9–12:OAc/E11–14:OAc ratio. This ratio was positively correlated to the total amount of 12-carbon components to 14-carbon components, but was negatively correlated to the Z/E ratio of Δ11-tetradecenylacetates. The results of two studies on the canalization of various components of the RBLR sex pheromone blend indicate that there is limited potential in this insect for manipulation of the blend ratios in the laboratory.  相似文献

印度谷螟是我国危害性较严重的仓储害虫之一,食性很广,几乎危害每一种植物性仓储物.印度谷螟雌虫性信息素主要成份顺9,反12-十四碳二烯醇醋酸酯(TDA)早已被鉴定,并利用TDA单一组份诱捕印度谷螟雄蛾也较为有效,但该虫的完整信息素系统尚不清楚.本研究采用单个雌蛾性信息素腺体抽提技术,利用毛细管气相色谱GC保留时间定性方法和气质联用GC-MS分析鉴定技术,从印度谷螟雌虫腺体提取物中鉴定了顺9,反12-十四碳二烯醇醋酸酯(A),顺9,反12-十四碳二烯醇(B),顺9,反12-十四碳二烯醛(C)和顺9-十四碳醋酸醋(D)4种主要信息素成份,其比例为A∶B∶C∶D=100∶22∶12∶9.风洞试验结果表明,以该4种主要成分按A∶B∶C∶D=8∶2∶1∶0.8比例配制成的诱芯,其引诱雄蛾的活性接近于雌蛾腺体提取物.  相似文献
