Abstract

The chromosomes of one moss and thirty liverworts are described and discussed taxonomically. Those of Lepidozia pearsonii (n = 8 + 1m), Telaranea murphyae (n = 9), Leioeolea badensis (n = 8 + 1m), Pleetoeolea paroiea (n = 9), Nardia compressa (n = 8 + 1m), N. geoscyphus (n = 9), Lophoeolea bispinosa (n = 8 + 1m), L. semiteres (n = 8 + 1m), Saccogyna viticulosa (n = 8 + 1m), Scapania curta (n = 16 + 2m), S. compacta (n = 8 + 1m), Porella laevigata (n = 8 + 1m) and P. cordaeana (n = 8 + 1m) are believed not to have been reported previously and, despite references in the literature to the cytology of Riccia crystallina and Gymnocolea inflata, reasons are given for suggesting that the present counts of n = 7 + 1m and n = 8 + 1m, respectively, may also be the first. The remaining species have been recorded cytologically in other parts of the world but not previously for Great Britain, or not with the present karyotype.  相似文献

Karyotypes of six species of Cypriniformes from the water bodies of Armenia—blackbrow Acanthalburnus microlepis, white bream Blicca bjoerkna transcaucasica, chub Leuciscus cephalus orientalis, stone moroco Pseudorasbora parva, mursa Barbus mursa, and Angora stone loach Barbatula angorae were studied. The karyotype of A. microlepis is represented by 50 chromosomes (2n = 50), 10M + 28SM + 12STA, NF = 88; of B. bjoerkna transcaucasica, by 2n = 50, 12M + 24SM + 14STA, NF = 86; of L. cephalus orientalis, by 2n = 50, 12M + 18SM + 20STA, NF = 80; of P. parva, by 2n = 50, 8M + 16SM + 26STA, NF = 74; of B. mursa, by 2n = 100, 6M + 36SM + 58STA, NF = 142; and of B. angorae, by 2n = 50, 8M + 24SM + 18STA, NF = 86. The intraspecific and interspecific chromosome polymorphism of species of the genera Blicca, Leuciscus and Pseudorasbora is described.  相似文献

为了解扇脉杓兰(Cypripedium japonicum Thunb.)和无距虾脊兰(Calanthe tsoongiana T. Tang et F. T. Wang)的核型,采用根尖压片法对扇脉杓兰和无距虾脊兰的染色体数目和核型进行了研究。结果表明,扇脉杓兰体细胞的染色体数为22,核型公式为2n=2x=22=16m+2sm+2st+2t,染色体相对长度组成为2n=22=2L+6M2+12M1+2S,核不对称系数为60.01%,核型分类为2B型;而无距虾脊兰体细胞的染色体数为40,核型公式为2n=2x=40=28m+10sm+2st,染色体相对长度组成为2n=40=8L+10M2+16M1+6S,核不对称系数为59.84%,核型分类为2B型;两者核型都较为对称。其中,无距虾脊兰的核型为首次报道。这为扇脉杓兰和无距虾脊兰的进化地位和种质保护提供了细胞学证据。  相似文献

采用常规压片技术对分布于横断山区菊科(Compositae)风毛菊属(Saussurea DC.)的6种植物进行染色体数目和核型分析。结果表明:尖苞雪莲(S.polycolea var.acutisquama)核型公式为:2n=2x=32=20m+12sm,属2B型;球花雪莲核(S.globosa)型公式为:2n=2x=34=16m+18sm,属2B型;重齿风毛菊(S.katochaete)核型公式为:2n=2x=32=8m+18sm+6st,属3B型;柱茎风毛菊(S.columnaris)核型公式为:2n=2x=32=24m+8sm,属2B型;禾叶风毛菊(S.graminea)核型公式为:2n=2x=28=8m+18sm+2st,属3B型;长毛风毛菊(S.hieracioides)核型公式为:2n=2x=32=12m+16sm+4st,属2B型。6个种染色体中均未发现随体。其中尖苞雪莲和柱茎风毛菊染色体为首次报道。  相似文献

Reported in this paper is a karyomorphological study on one natural population of each of eight varieties in theSpiraea japonica complex. The interphase and mitotic prophase can be classified into the simple chromocenter type and the proximal type, respectively. The metaphase karyotypes of the eight varieties were formulated as follows:S. japonica var.japonica: 2n=18=14m+2sm+2st;S. japonica var.acuta: 2n=18=11m+4sm+3st;S. japonica var.incisa: 2n=18=12m+4sm+2st;S. japonica var.stellaris: 2n=18=15m+1sm+2st;S. japonica var.acuminata: 2n=18=14m+2sm+2st;S. japonica var.ovalifolia: 2n=18=10m+2sm+2st+4t;S. japonica var.glabra: 2n=18=10m+4sm+4st;S. japonica var.fortunei: 2n=36=17m+16sm+3st. Karyomorphological study reveals that the chromosome numbers within the complex are stable, and that karyomorphological divergence between the varieties lies mainly in chromosome size and organization. Based on the karyomorphological data and geographical distribution of the complex, the differentiation pattern as well as evolutionary mechanism of the complex is evaluated.  相似文献

The chromosome complements of six cyprinid fishes were studied, using the routine air-drying Giemsa staining technique. The diploid chromosome number recorded is 2n = 50 (8m+18sm+14st+10t) with NF = 90 in Aspidoparia morar, 2n = 50 (8m+12sm+12st+18t) with NF = 82 in Crossocheilus latius latius, 2n = 50 (6m+12sm–16st+16t) with NF = 90 in Labeo pangusia, 2n = 70 (16m+6sm+16st–32t) with NF = 108 in Perilampus atpar, 2n = 48 (4m+6st+38t) with NF = 58 in Puntius chrysopterus and 2n = 50 (2m+2sm+4st+42t) with NF = 58 in P. tetrarupagus. Sex chromosomes are not identifiable in any of these species. A pair of marker chromosomes has been observed in all species excepting A. morar.  相似文献

Genomic in situ hybridization (GISH) has been used to study characteristics of the formation of alloplasmic lines detected among self-pollinated backcrossed progeny (BC1F5–BC1F8) of barley–wheat amphiploids [Hordeum geniculatum All. (2n = 28) × Triticum aestivum L. (2n = 42)] (2n = 70). The chromosome material of the wild barley H. geniculatum has been shown to contribute to these lines. For example, fifth-generation plants (BC1F5) had genotypes (2n= 42w + 2g), (2n = 42w + 1g + 1tg), and (2n = 41w + 1g), where w is common wheat chromosomes, g is barley (H. geniculatum) chromosomes, and tg is the telocentric chromosome of wild barley. Beginning from theBC1F6 generation, alloplasmic telocentric addition lines (2n= 42 + 2tg) and (2n = 42 + 1tg) appear. This lines has been found cytogenetically unstable. The progeny of each of these cytological types include not only the (2n= 42 + 2tg) and (2n = 42 + 1tg) addition plants, but also plants with the monosomic (2n = 41 + 1tg) and the disomic (2n = 40 + 2tg) substitutions, as well as the (2n = 41 + 2tg) plants, which lack one wheat chromosome and have two telocentric barley chromosomes. It has been demonstrated that the selection for well-filled grains favors the segregation of telocentric addition lines (2n = 42 + 2tg) and (2n = 42 + 1tg).  相似文献

以五叶草莓等6种野生草莓为试材,采用常规压片法对其进行了核型分析。结果表明,6种野生草莓的核型公式分别为:五叶草莓2n=2x=14=12m+2sm、黄毛草莓2n=2x=14=8m+6sm、绿色草莓2n=2x=14=10m+2sm+2st、东北草莓2n=2x=14=8m+6sm、森林草莓2n=2x=14=6m+8sm、西南草莓2n=4x=28=16m+12sm,6种野生草莓的核型类型均为"2A"型。供试6种野生草莓的进化顺序可能为:五叶草莓、绿色草莓、东北草莓、黄毛草莓、西南草莓、森林草莓。  相似文献

以紫薇(Lagerstroemia indica)、尾叶紫薇(L.caudata)、屋久岛紫薇(L.fauriei)和福建紫薇(L.limii)4种紫薇属植物为材料,利用染色体荧光原位杂交技术(FISH)获得了4种紫薇属植物的有丝分裂中期染色体FISH图及核型参数,分析了45SrDNA在紫薇属植物染色体上的数量和分布特点。结果表明,4种紫薇属植物染色体上均具有1对45SrDNA杂交位点,位于较长染色体短臂的近端部,紫薇、尾叶紫薇、屋久岛紫薇和福建紫薇的核型公式分别为2n=48=2M+24m+22sm、2n=48=30m+18sm、2n=48=2M+20m+26sm和2n=48=2M+32m+14sm,均为2A型。该研究首次获得了紫薇属植物45SrDNA荧光原位杂交核型,为紫薇属植物亲缘关系研究和细胞生物学研究提供了分子细胞学依据。  相似文献

In this study, we provide the first molecular evidence for a possible connection between freshwater mollusc faunas across the Bering Strait via the Beringian Land Bridge using data inferred from gastropods of the family Lymnaeidae. The gastropods collected from geothermal springs in the Tumrok Mountains, West Kamchatka, Russia, share the nuclear internal transcribed spacer 2 (ITS2) and the cytochrome oxidase subunit I gene (COI) haplotypes, thus being as sister to those recorded for lymnaeid snails in the Stagnicola elodes group from Canada and the USA. This subspecies is the first discovered representative in the genus, which formed a dwarf race in a geothermal habitat. Our findings highlight the possible exchange between freshwater faunas in Beringia during the Pleistocene and an important role of geothermal ecosystems as possible cryptic refugia for freshwater hydrobionts.  相似文献

采用植物细胞学研究方法对主要采自中国西南地区横断山的6种植物:扁核木(Prinsepia utilis)、小叶金露梅(Potentilla parvifolia)、峨眉繁缕(Stellaria omeiensis)、金铁锁(Psammosilene tunicoides)、山卷耳(Cerastium pusillum)和独尾草(Eremurus chinensis)进行染色体数目和核型研究。研究表明:(1)6个种的核型公式和不对称性如下:扁核木2n=2x=30=1M+20m+9sm,2A;小叶金露梅2n=2x=28=21m+7sm,2B;峨眉繁缕2n=8x=72=1M+71m,1B;金铁锁在同居群下有倍性变化,2n=2x=14=14m,1A和2n=4x=28=28m,1A;山卷耳2n=2x=24=24m(2sat),1A;独尾草2n=2x=14=2m+2sm+8st+2t,4B。(2)讨论了染色体资料在这些物种分类和系统上的意义,支持扁核木为李亚科下的扁核木属;位于委陵菜属木本系的小叶金露梅主要以二倍体和四倍体为主,而草本系的委陵菜属植物多为多倍体。(3)该研究首次报道峨眉繁缕为八倍体,是繁缕属发现的最高倍性的物种;对比金铁锁属与蝇子草属的染色体研究发现,金铁锁属可能是由它们的共同祖先通过非整倍化产生;该研究首次发现山卷耳存在染色体数目2n=24的情况,且有1对随体;独尾草的研究进一步证明该物种可能为二型核。  相似文献

The phylogenetic relationships among 14 species of the subgenus Stegana are reconstructed with the combined sequences of the mitochondrial genes, ND2 (NADH dehydrogenase subunit 2) and COI (cytochrome c oxidase, subunit I). Moreover, the intra- and interspecific pairwise K-2P (Kimura's two-parameter) distances among these species are summarized, and the availability of mitochondrial markers in the species identification of the subgenus Stegana are further discussed.

Chromosome numbers and karyotypes of four species of Zamia L. (Zamiaceae) are described. Plants of Z. manicata from Colombia are 2n = 18 with eight metacentric (M), four submetacentric (S), two acrocentric (A), and four telocentric (T) chromosomes. Plants of Z. ipetiensis from Panama are 2n = 23 with 3M + 4S + 2A + 14T. Plants of Z. cunaria from Panama have two different chromosome numbers, 2n = 23 with 3M + 4S + 2A + 14T and 2n = 24 with 2M + 4S + 2A + 16T. Plants of Z. acuminata from Costa Rica and Panama are 2n = 24 with 2M + 4S + 2A + 16T. On the basis of the occurrence of a one-to-two-ratio in the variation of M- and T-chromosome numbers in the karyotypes, centric fission or fusion are considered for their potential involvement in the chromosome variation of these plants. Data deriving from morphology and karyology, interpreted in a cladistic framework, suggest that centric fission rather than centric fusion is involved in the karyotype diversification of the four species and their closest Mesoamerican allies.  相似文献

Species of Polychaeta worms from the Kurile Islands, which are new or recorded for the first time in the USSR fauna. Zoologichesky Zhurnal 38, 167181. [Google Scholar], originally described from Strait of Magellan, California, and South Kurile Islands respectively, appear similar to each other in adult morphology. These species and subspecies have been considered by some authors as subjective synonyms and are here referred to as members of the R. glutaea complex. Sequence data of four gene fragments (2465 bp in total) of the mitochondrial 16S rDNA, nuclear 18S and 28S rDNA, and Histone 3 have shown that R. glutaea complex individuals from the South West Atlantic (Argentina), North East Pacific (British Columbia and Oregon) and North West Pacific (South Korea) were genetically distant and not conspecific. These data also indicate that R. arenincola from North America and R. aff. asiatica from South Korea are more closely related to each other, and both are closer to R. glutaea from South America than to R. nhatrangi from Vietnam: nhatrangi (glutaea (arenincola-aff. asiatica)). Adults of the R. glutaea complex are hermaphrodites and the arrangement of gametes is suggested to be a crucial reproductive character for distinguishing these species. Based on this character, two species of the complex are apparent in the North West Pacific: R. asiatica Chlebovitsch, 1959 Chlebovitsch, V.V. 1959. Abstract Anaphalis is one of the largest genera of the Asian Gnaphalieae (Asteraceae) and is most diversified on the Qinghai‐Tibet Plateau. The chromosome numbers and karyomorphology of six species from seven populations were investigated for the first time for this region. Chromosome numbers have been newly documented for four species: Anaphalis deserti (2n = 56 = 24 median [m]+ 24 submedian [sm]+ 8 acrocentric [st]); Anaphalis plicata (2n = 56 = 26m + 30sm); Anaphalis xylorhiza (2n = 28 = 2 median point [M]+ 14m + 12sm); and Anaphalis rhododactyla (2n = 56 = 32m + 24sm). Two further counts are in agreement with the previously reported numbers, that is, Anaphalis royleana (2n = 28 = 4M + 6m + 18sm) and Anaphalis margaritacea (2n = 28 = 12m + 16sm). A new polyploid cytotype (2n = 56 = 26m + 30sm) was found in the Zougong population of A. margaritacea. Polyploidy is for the first time reported for Anaphalis, with four out of seven counts being tetraploid. Our cytological results suggest that polyploids might have played an important role in the evolution of Anaphalis on the Qinghai‐Tibet Plateau.  相似文献
