Based on examination of original material, we demonstrate that the name Rhododendron sparsifolium W. P. Fang was indeed validly published when first published in 1983. Meanwhile, we correct the collectors of two of the three type gatherings listed in the protologue, including the holotype. Furthermore, we propose to reduce R. hejiangense to the synonymy of R. sparsifolium on the basis of morphological comparisons.  相似文献

Callicarpa peichieniana W. Y. Chun & S. L. Chen ex W. Z. Fang’ is a replacement name for Premna peii W. Y. Chun ex H. T. Chang. However, this replacement name was not validly published in 1982 by W. Z. Fang because the reference citation of the replaced synonym P. peii that was published in 1960 was contrary to Article 33.4 of ICBN. The first publication of Premna peii in 1960 was invalid due to lack of type indication, in conflict with Article 37.1, and it was subsequently validated in 1963. In this study, we correct the place of valid publication of P. peii, thereby validating C. peichieniana W. Y. Chun & S. L. Chen ex H. Ma & W. B. Yu.  相似文献

对我国菊科橐吾属(Ligularia Cass.) 3种植物原白中模式标本引证的排印错误进行了改正。君范橐吾(L. lingiana S.W. Liu)原白中错误地将主模式标本引证为赵清盛82946,实际应为赵清盛、牟克平和杨亚斌8294。长毛槖吾(L. changiana S.W. Liu ex Y. L. Chen & Z. Yu Li)(=L. heterophylla C. C. Chang,为L. heterophylla Rupr.的晚出同名)主模式为蔡希陶59771,但L. heterophylla C. C. Chang 的原白中错误地将主模式标本引证为蔡希陶59711;该号标本属于唇形科的灯笼草[Clinopodium polycephalum (Vaniot) C. Y. Wu & Hsuan]。南川橐吾(L. nanchuanica S. W. Tucker , J. M. (U. California, Davis), W. P. Cottam , and R. Drobnick . Studies in the Quercus undulata complex. II. The contribution of Quercus turbinella. Amer. Jour. Bot. 48(4): 329–339. Illus. 1961.—Quercus undulata has been interpreted as a hybrid complex involving Q. gambelii and several other species, including Q. turbinella (Tucker, 1961). In the present paper, the total distribution of the hybrids between Q. gambelii and Q. turbinella is given. Lacking direct genetic evidence, proof of hybridity is sought in a demonstration of the morphological intermediacy of these putative hybrids. Population samples of both parental species, other samples containing hybrids, and numerous individual hybrids, are analyzed on the basis of 6 differences between the parental species. The data obtained, presented in the form of pictorialized scatter diagrams, clearly show the general intermediacy of the hybrids. Of the various binomials that have been applied to forms in the Q. undulata complex, Quercus pauciloba Rydb. applies to this hybrid. The appropriate change in status (Quercus × pauciloba Rydb.) is made.  相似文献

A new species of Gesneriaceae, Primulina duanensis Fang Wen & S. L. Huang is described and illustrated from Guangxi, China. It differs from P. ronganensis (D. Fang & Y. G. Wei) Mich. Möller & A. Weber in having broadly lanceolate bracts, being 1–3‐flowered and possessing hairs on the upper part of the anthers where connected with the filaments; from P. sclerophylla (W. T. Wang) Yan Liu in having narrowly ovate to ovate leaf blade, leaf blade margin interrupted shallowly crenate, broadly lanceolate bracts, being 1–3‐flowered and possessing hairs on the upper part of the anthers where connected with the filaments; from P. shouchengensis (Z. The species delimitation within Abies delavayi complex, consisting of A. delavayi Franch., A. fabri (Mast.) Craib, A. nukiangensis W. C. Cheng & L. K. Fu, and A. delavayi subsp. fansipanensis (Q. P. Xiang, L. K. Fu & Nan Li) Rushforth, has been a subject of long‐term dispute. We combined different lines of evidence, including morphological characters, population‐based mitochondrial DNA and chloroplast DNA sequences, and plastome data to assess its species delimitation. These four independent datasets revealed a consistent result that the four taxa of A. delavayi complex were hardly separated and could be regarded as one species. Our results further suggested that these four taxa might have experienced rapid morphological diversification, following a common expansion triggered by climate oscillations during the Pleistocene. In addition, we surveyed the phylogeographical history of A. delavayi complex as a whole based on ecological niche models and molecular data. These results consistently revealed that this high‐mountain fir complex had experienced glacial expansion and interglacial contraction. Therefore, we propose that A. delavayi complex probably has undergone the phalanx expansion model in response to climate change during the Quaternary. Such expansion patterns demand consideration when establishing conservation strategies for threatened fir species.  相似文献

基于对湖南省张家界市天门山国家森林公园种子植物标本的采集鉴定,报道了湖南省新记录13种2变种,隶属于11科15属。即小山飘风Sedum filipes Hemsl.、绿花石莲Sinocrassula indica(Decne.)Berger var.viridiflora K.T.Fu、扇叶虎耳草Scocifraga rufescens Balf.var.flabellifolia C.Y.Wu et J.T.Pan、滇池海棠Malus yunnanensis(Franch.)Schneid.、北枳棋Hovenia dulcis Thtmb.、橄榄槭Acer olivaceum W.P.Fang et P.L.Chiu、大叶柴胡Bupleurum longiradiaum Turcz.、重齿当归Angelica biserrata(R.H.Shan et C.Q.Yuan)C.Q.Yuan et R.H.Shan、羌活Notopterygium incisum T.T.Ting ex H.T.Chang、直瓣苣苔Ancylostemon sarasilia(Hemsl.)Craib、野丁香Leptodermis potanini Batalin、毛华菊Dendranthema vestitum(Hemsl.)Ling、长冠鼠尾草Salvia pleetranthoides Griff.、茖葱Allium victorialis Linn.、节根黄精Polygonatum nodosum Hua。其中羌活属和野丁香属为湖南分布新记录属。凭证标本均存放在中南林业科技大学树木标本室(CSFI)。  相似文献

采用经典分类学研究方法,对河北师范大学植物标本馆(HBNU)等国内多个标本馆保存的中国丝瓜藓属直蒴组(Pohlia Hedw.section Cacodon Lindb.ex Broth.)及其近缘类群植物标本共计130余号进行了分类学分析鉴定,并对所确定的中国产直蒴组物种的芽胞大小、形状及叶原基数量和长度等形态学特征进行比较分析,以期为中国丝瓜藓属直蒴组的分类学研究提供理论依据。结果表明:(1)经鉴定中国丝瓜藓属直蒴组植物共有8种——夭命丝瓜藓[Pohlia annotina(Hedw.)Lindb.]、糙枝丝瓜藓[P.camptotrachela(Ren.Card.)Broth.]、林地丝瓜藓[P.drummondii(Müll.Hal.)Andr.]、疣齿丝瓜藓[P.flexuosa Harv.]、纤毛丝瓜藓[P.hisae T.J.Kop.et J.X.Luo]、异芽丝瓜藓[P.leucostoma(BoschSande Lac.)M.Fleisch.]、念珠丝瓜藓[P.lutescens(Limpr.)H.Lindb.]和卵蒴丝瓜藓[P.proligera(Kindb.ex Breidl.)Lindb.ex Arnell]。(2)中国丝瓜藓属直蒴组植物的重要鉴别特征是在假根或叶腋处生有芽胞,而且芽胞形状以及叶原基形状和数量在直蒴组中存在差异,如念珠丝瓜藓具有假根生芽胞,而疣齿丝瓜藓具有两型芽胞。(3)对所鉴定的中国丝瓜藓属直蒴组8种植物的识别特征、生境及其与相近种的关系进行了详细描述,并绘制了形态特征墨线图。  相似文献

Based on examination of specimens and field observations of Elatostema J. R. Forster & G. Forster (Urticaceae) from China and its adjacent area, one new species, E. vietnamense Q. Lin & L. D. Duan from Bach Ma Natl. Park, Thua Thien‐Hue Province, Vietnam, is described and illustrated. Pellionia ambigua Wedd. from Khasi Hills, Churra, Assam (=Meghalaya), India and P. rhizomatosa Gagnep. from Annam, Vietnam are transferred as Elatostema ambiguum (Wedd.) Q. Lin and E. rhizomatosum (Gagnep.) Q. Lin, respectively. Elatostema glochidioides W. T. Wang from Guangxi and Guizhou and Provinces, China is regarded as a new synonym of E. ramosissimum Rein.  相似文献

The name Lithocarpus longinux (Hu) Chun ex Y. C. Hsu & H. W. Jen is reinstated. It used to be treated as a synonym of L. areca (Hickel & A. Camus) A. Camus, but morphological characters of cupules and leaves support the reinstatement. These two species, together with L. longzhouicus (C. C. Huang & Y. T. Chang) J. Q. Li & L. Chen, make up a small group that is distributed in limestone areas and have similar morphological characters. A key is provided to distinguish between them, and their is discussed.  相似文献

Methods of numerical taxonomy, i.e. Cluster Analysis, Principal Component Analysis (PCA), Discriminant Function (DF) and Correspondence Analysis (CA), have been used to analyse 132 Operational Taxonomic Units of Potentilla subsect. Collinae. Among 53 morphological characters (20 quantitative and 33 qualitative), the most useful appeared following: bent inflorescence, flower diameter, width of epicalyx segments, length and width of petal, length ratio of calyx to petals, length ratio of calyx to epicalyx segments, shape of carpel style, presence of basal leaves during flowering, number of leaflets on basal leaves, upper and lower surfaces of leaf blades, pattern of pubescence of calyx, nervation of leaves as well as number and size of teeth of the central leaflet. The following taxa were distinguished in the investigated subsection: P. collina Wibel s.str.; P. thyrsiflora Hülsen ex Zimmeter; P. silesiaca R. Uechtr.; P. wimannania Günther et Schummel; P. leucopolitana P.J. Müll.; P. karoi R. Uechtr. ex Zimmeter; P. schultzii P.J. Müll. ex F. W. Schultz; P. koernickei R. Uechtr. ex Zimmeter; P. leucopolitanoides Błocki; P. ×sholziana Callier; P. leucopolitana P.J. Müller × P. incana P. Gaertner, B. A new species of Gesneriaceae, Primulina xiziae Fang Wen, Yue Wang & G. J. Hua, from Zhejiang Province, China, is identified, illustrated and described. It resembles the widespread P. eburnea, and the stenochoric P. pseudoeburnea, but differs by the leaf blades being ovate‐elliptic or ovate, chartaceous with ciliate margins, 8.5–13.8 mm long, slender peduncle, ovate, ca 1.2 × 1.0 cm large bracts that are generally withered but persistent before full‐blooming stage, slender tubular‐infundibuliform, ca 25.0 × 7.5 mm corolla tube, limb lobes with acute apices, 3 staminodes, and by forming a dormancy bud in winter.  相似文献

Chirita tiandengensis Fang Wen & Hui Tang, a new species of Chirita from Guangxi, China, is described and illustrated. The new species is similar to C. napoensis Z. Y. Li, C. lunglinensis W. T. Wang and C. obtusidentata W. T. Wang, but differs by leaf blades ovate‐lanceolate, both surfaces sparsely strigulose; cymes 5‐ or 8‐flowered, bracts narrowly lanceolate, 6–8×1.5–2.0 mm; larger flowers (3.8–4.6 cm long), pink corolla, infundibuliform‐tubular tube; backside of anthers puberulous, filaments straight; staminodes glabrous, fused on the capitate top; stigma bipartite to the base with narrowly lanceolate lobes.  相似文献

Deciduous and evergreen species are segregated on northeast and southwest slopes of the southern Appalachian Mountains. The segregated distributions of three ericaceous shrubs (Rhododendron maximum valley positions; Rhododendron periclymenoides on northeast slopes; Kalmia latifolia on southwest slopes) were compared to the respective irradiance environments. Growth patterns of field plants, and photosynthetic acclimation of each species to three irradiance treatments in a phytotron were studied. Rhododendron maximum, an evergreen species, was found to be most sensitive to high radiation. In phytotron experiments, quantum yield, light saturated photosynthetic capacity, photosynthesis per chlorophyll, and water use efficiency decreased at high ambient irradiance for R. maximum. These characteristics limit the growth of R. maximum on high irradiance southwestern slopes. Both K. latifolia and R. periclymenoides were able to improve their photosynthetic performance at high ambient irradiance. Rhododendron periclymenoides, a deciduous species, was found to continue increasing leaf conductance at high irradiance without an increase in photosynthesis indicating a possible limitation by water in high light environments such as southwest slopes. Kalmia latifolia, an evergreen species, had reduced photosynthetic capacity and reduced water use efficiency when grown in low irradiance conditions which coincides with the higher K. latifolia abundance on high light, southwestern slopes.  相似文献

The name Quercus arbutifolia Hickel & A. Camus is lectotypifed. In addition, leaf epidermal features of Q. obovatifolia C. C. Huang, Q. arbutifolia and four other closely related species, Q. daimingshanensis (S. K. Lee) C. C. Huang, Q. merrillii Seemen, Q. litseoides Dunn and Q. tiaoloshanica Chun & W. C. Ko, were studied and compared using herbarium collections. Based on a comparison of leaf epidermal and other key taxonomic features, we conclude that Q. obovatifolia and Q. arbutifolia are identical. We thus reduce Q. obovatifolia to a new synonym of Q. arbutifolia. A key to the studied species is included.  相似文献

The natural hybridization that occurs between two sympatric species of Rhododendron subgenus Hymenanthes in Yunnan, China, was investigated. The assumed parents, Rhododendron delavayi Franch. and R. decorum Franch., are morphologically distinct, and the putative hybrid species, R. agastum Balf. f. et W. W. Smith, has an intermediate morphology. We used the main morphological characters, sequences of the nuclear ribosomal DNA ITS region, and the chloroplast DNA trnL-F intronspacer to analyze the three species, and compared these morphological and molecular data with an artificial hybrid between R. decorum (♀) × R. delavayi (♂). From the results, we conclude that R. agastum is a natural hybrid between a female R. delavayi and a male R. decorum.  相似文献
