Melaleuca cuticularis and Casuarina obesa occur in wetlands, whereas Banksia attenuata occurs in adjacent well-drained sandy soils. Salt and waterlogging tolerances in these tree species were studied, as the levels of these stresses have increased in south-western Australia. Seedlings were exposed to 0.01, 200 or 400 mm NaCl, with or without waterlogging, in a sand culture with nutrient solution for 22 d in a glasshouse. Melaleuca cuticularis and C. obesa survived all treatments, and generally maintained high rates of net photosynthesis. Banksia attenuata tolerated neither waterlogging nor salinity. Salt tolerance of M. cuticularis and C. obesa was associated with the regulation of foliar sodium (Na+), chloride (Cl-) and potassium (K+) concentrations. Under saline-waterlogged conditions, this regulation was maintained in M. cuticularis, but was reduced in C. obesa. Foliage of these two species also contained appreciable levels of compatible organic solutes: methyl proline in M. cuticularis and proline in C. obesa; in both cases the concentrations increased at higher salinity. Melaleuca cuticularis formed a higher proportion of aerenchyma in adventitious roots than C. obesa, so enhanced internal root aeration in M. cuticularis might contribute to its higher tolerance of combined salinity and waterlogging.  相似文献

The environmental relationships and ecophysiology of Azorella compacta, a giant cushion plant, were investigated in Parque Nacional Lauca, Chile (18°10'–18°25' S and 69°16' W, 4400 m asl). The diurnal temperature range can reach 42 °C on some days of the year. The surface temperature of A. compacta was 13 °C below that of the air temperature of −7 °C at dawn, but from midmorning to late afternoon, the plant surface temperature remained within a few degrees of the air temperature. Soil surface temperatures did not differ between north- and south-facing slopes, but a model showed an increase in radiation reception by north-facing slopes throughout most of the year. Gas exchange measurements of A. compacta measured at the onset of the wet season ranged from −0.6662 to 11.4 μmol·m−2·s−1, and maximum stomatal conductance (Gs) was 410 mmol·m−2·s−1. The estimated light compensation point was 89 μmol·m−2·s−1 and estimated light saturation occurred at about 1280 μmol·m−2·s−1. Diurnal water potential measurements for A. compacta ranged from −1.67 to −2.65 MPa. This is one of the first ecophysiological studies of a tropical alpine cushion plant.  相似文献

We investigated the possibility that oxidative stress contributes to blossom-end rot (BER) initiation in bell pepper ( Capsicum annuum L.) grown under high salinity. Pepper plants (cv. Mazurka, Rijk Zwaan, the Netherlands) were grown in a greenhouse and irrigated with nutrient solution made up with either desalinated water (control — rising from E.C. 1.9 to 2.4 dS m−1) or saline water (salinity – rising from E.C. 3.2 to 7.0 dS m−1). Irrigation was by a circulation system. BER symptoms were observed throughout the experiment but were highly enhanced in the salinity–grown plants during the spring and summer. The fruit calcium concentration was not affected by salinity, but manganese concentrations in both leaves and fruits were significantly reduced under these conditions. Under salinity there was an enhancement of apoplast reactive oxygen species (ROS) production, which was partly a result of increase in NAD(P)H oxidase activity in the pericarp of pepper fruit at the stage that it was most sensitive to BER. Apoplast ROS production and extracted NAD(P)H oxidase activity were inhibited by manganese, zinc and to a lesser extent by calcium. These cations also negated the enhancement of ROS production caused by incubation of fruit pericarp discs in NaCl solutions. Manganese, zinc and calcium also inhibited NAD(P)H oxidase activity, extracted following their infiltration into fruit pericarp discs. The results suggest that generation and scavenging of oxygen free radicals in the apoplast may contribute to the appearance of BER symptoms in pepper fruits under saline conditions. It is suggested that manganese may serve as antioxidant in pepper fruit and that manganese addition to peppers grown under salinity may alleviate BER symptoms in the fruits.  相似文献

从基于风险管理应对气候变化的基本理论框架和气候变化对我国自然保护区管理的挑战出发,明确了自然保护区气候变化风险的涵义,并以达里诺尔自然保护区鸟类及其赖以生存的水体、草地、林地、沼泽地生境为研究对象,对达里诺尔自然保护区气候变化风险及其变化趋势进行评估和预测.结果表明: 1997—2010年,达里诺尔自然保护区及其水体、草地、林地、沼泽地生境的气候变化风险均呈明显的波动性变化趋势,1999、2001、2005、2008年保护区及其4类生境和2002、2004年沼泽地生境均处于风险状态;与2010年相比,情景A、B、C下2020、2030年保护区及其4类生境的气候变化风险均有所增强;各类生境的气候变化风险存在显著差异,其中,沼泽地生境的气候变化风险较为突出,与其对气候变化的敏感性和丰富的鸟类分布密切相关;人类对水资源、草地资源的过度利用会加剧气候变化对自然保护区的不利影响及其对应的生态风险.总体上,气候变化风险在达里诺尔自然保护区已经显现,气候变化风险管理有助于保持并增强自然保护区的生物多样性保护功能.  相似文献

Two varieties of winter wheat ( Triticum aestivum L.) differing in freezing resistance ("Holme" from Sweden, freezing resistant, and "Amandus" from Germany, less freezing resistant) were hardened for five weeks by gradually reducing the day/night temperature from 20°C/15°C during the first week to 2° C/0° C during the fifth week and the photoperiod from 15 to 9 h. This treatment increased the freezing resistance of both varieties in comparison to unhardened control plants. Hardening caused an increase in osmolarity of cell sap and in the levels of proline and abscisic acid (ABA). Increase in osmolarity preceded the increase in ABA level, and proline levels increased later than ABA levels. Holme had higher values of osmolarity as well as higher levels of ABA and proline. but the differences between the two varieties were significant only for proline. Since the pressure potential remained constant or increased slightly during the hardening period, it is suggested that the accumulation of ABA is due to the hardening process and not to simple water stress caused by cold-induced inhibition of water uptake by the root.
Spraying hardened plants with 10−4 M ABA 24 h before a freezing test increased freezing resistance in both varieties, but did not obliterate the differences in freezing resistance between the two varieties. Spraying hardened plants with an aqueous proline solution (10%, w/v) was without effect on freezing resistance. It is concluded that the hardening procedure causes an accumulation of ABA in winter wheat leaves and that ABA is involved in the chain of events leading to freezing resistance.  相似文献

以典型河漫滩湿地 —— 二卡自然保护区为研究区域,进行生态阈值研究。根据湿地补给河流 —— 海拉尔河的月均流量频率分布特征,选取58.72 m3/s(P=74.6%)、119.26 m3/s(P=44.4%)、190.35 m3/s(P=23.8%)分别代表河流的低、中、高径流期,分析各径流期湿地分布特征。结果表明,低、中径流期内草本沼泽及盐化沼泽所占比例较高,而高径流期则以季节性河流湿地及湖泊湿地为主。低径流期内,作为湿地中心区的湖泊湿地景观破碎度出现一个较明显的跃变,由中径流期的0.57增加到1.37。此时的湿地状态可近似的作为区域的生态阈值,即维持湿地面积占全区域面积的43.03%。而中、高径流期湿地面积比例可近似作为保护区湿地面积的适宜值和理想值,分别为53.66%和69.53%。其研究结果为二卡自然保护区的管理及保护提供支持,并为河漫滩湿地研究提供思路。  相似文献

Abstract. When isobutyric acid (IBA) or abscisic acid (ABA) are supplied to leaf sections a similar rapid and marked decrease in the intracellular pH is observed. This acidification is accompanied by an increase in proline level which is about the same for both 3 mol m−3 IBA and 1 mol m−3 ABA treatments.
Fusicoccin (FC), known to act at the proton pump level, almost completely suppresses the ABA-induced acidification of the cell sap, whereas it only partially counteracts the acidifying effect of IBA, in particular during short periods of treatment. This effect of FC is paralleled by a similar inhibition of the induced proline accumulation: in fact, FC completely suppresses the ABA-induced increase in proline during short treatment periods, whereas it is only effective in inhibiting the IBA-induced proline accumulation after long treatment periods.
These data seem to suggest that the ABA- and IBA-induced changes in proline level might be mediated by changes in the intracellular pH.  相似文献

Examination of 290 red rockfish Sebastes capensis from two fishing grounds in northern Chile (Coquimbo 71°30' W; 30°0' S and Antofagasta 70°40' W; 23°30' S) revealed 8770 metazoan parasites, belonging to 18 taxa: Udonella caligorum (Udonellidae); Interniloculus chilensis , Paramicrocotyle sp. and Neobenedenia melleni (Monogenea); larval Gnathia sp., Cirolana sp. and Rocinela sp. (Isopoda); Helicometrina nimia , Diphtherostomum sp., Lecithochirium sp. and Pseudopecoelus sp. (Digenea); Ascarophis sebastodis , Anisakis sp. and larval Hysterothylacium sp. (Nematoda); Caligus cheilodactylus , Lepeophtheirus chilensis and Trifur tortuosus (Copepoda); larval Corynosoma australe (Acanthocephala). Ten species were found only in Coquimbo and three were found only in Antofagasta, species common to both localities were Pseudopecoelus sp., C. australe , Anisakis sp. and A. sebastodis . Evidence, based on qualitative differences between the parasite faunas of the red rockfish, suggests the existence of two discrete stocks.  相似文献

Erdos Larus Relictus Nature Reserve is the only wetland of international importance to protect Larus Relictus in China. From the early part of this century, the impact of water use, vegetation construction and the climate of the catchment area increasing on the wetland of this Nature Reserve has brought about severe water shortage. Until now, no eco-hydrological model at home or abroad integrates the wetland ecological and hydrological processes. This paper considers the relationship between the food chains of the Larus Relictus and environmental elements, and establishes the eco-hydrological processes from Larus Relictus to damselfly + Chironomidae and the salinity and the area of Bojiang Lake. It also establishes a relationship among Larus Relictus breeding, the area of islands outcropped in the levels of the lake and hydrological season based on the relationship between Larus Relictus breeding and environmental elements. The eco-hydrological model is then constructed according to these relationships. In virtue of the constraints of the lake salinity, the suitable area of the lake is 9.01 km2, and 4.88 km2 for the smallest area. While in accordance with the area of islands outcropped needed for Larus Relictus breeding, the lake area is 11.02 km2 in breeding season corresponding to critical high level.  相似文献

以黄河三角洲自然保护区为研究区域,以野外实测湿地植被地上生物量数据、Landsat-8影像数据和土壤各因子检测数据为数据源,通过分析各遥感因子与实测植被生物量的相关关系,建立生物量模型,进行生物量的定量反演。通过研究生物量与土壤、水环境因子的关系,筛选影响生物量的关键因子,进而分析生物量的空间分布规律。结果表明:湿地植被地上生物量的干重与各遥感因子的相关性较高;以NDVI、EVI、MSAVI、DVI、RVI、Band1、Band2、Band3、Band4、Band6共10个因子作为自变量建立的反演模型最优;反演计算的生物量干重分为5个等级区,最低的1级区和最高的5级区面积较小,为82.23、72.16 km2,分别占研究区湿地植被总面积的13.35%、11.71%。生物量干重适中的2、3、4级区所占面积较大,为211.99、136.39、113.29 km2,分别占研究区湿地植被总面积的34.41%、22.14%、18.39%;在各环境因子中水深对芦苇生物量干重影响最大,土壤含水率对碱蓬生物量干重影响最大,水、盐条件是导致优势种植被生物量干重出现空间分异的主导因素;植被生物量干重呈现由陆向海减小,由黄河河道两岸向外递减的趋势。  相似文献

甘肃黑河为我国第二大内陆河,位于其中游的黑河湿地自然保护区为内陆河流湿地生态系统自然保护区。2008年分季节采用样线法和样点法调查该保护区湿地、农田村庄、人工林和荒漠4种生境的鸟类种类和数量。调查共记录保护区分布的鸟类17目35科116种,其中夏候鸟73种(占鸟类种类的62.93%),迁徙过路鸟20种(占17.24%),留鸟17种(占14.66%),冬候鸟6种(占5.17%)。其中,属于《湿地公约》的水禽56种。在湿地生境共记录鸟类70种,占保护区鸟类种数的60.34%,其中繁殖期在湿地生境栖息的鸟类有50种,绝大部分为夏候鸟(47种),留鸟只有3种;迁徙季节分布有44种鸟类,其中迁徙过路鸟(只在迁徙季节见到)有17种,占迁徙季节鸟类种类数的38.64%。村庄农田、人工林以及荒漠生境中,繁殖期和迁飞期共记录鸟类57种,夏候鸟有33种,留鸟有17种,迁徙过路鸟只有3种。甘肃张掖黑河湿地保护区是众多水禽在我国西北地区的重要繁殖地和迁徙停歇地,是我国候鸟迁徙西部路线上的关键区域。  相似文献

大别山地区虫生真菌群落结构与生态分布   总被引:12,自引:0,他引:12  
本文对安徽大别山地区虫生真菌的群落结构和生态分布规律进行了研究。在天堂寨和鹞落坪2个自然保护区共设样方278个,先后采集罹病标本1986个,共计50种,隶属于4目、4科、16属。优势种依次为粉拟青霉、细脚拟青霉、下垂虫草、球孢白僵菌和金龟子绿僵菌。在垂直分布上,种的丰度、多度和物种多样性指数都以海拔1100-1150m最高,随着海拔升高或降低,各多样性指标基本上表现递减的趋势。季节分布上,夏季是虫生真菌物种分布最丰富的季节,随着温度下降和雨量的减少,种的丰度和多度也明显下降。另外,该区虫生真菌群落呈现出明显的水平地带性分布规律。  相似文献

2007年11月到2008年11月,对颍州西湖湿地自然保护区3种典型生境(农田区、河流湿地和湖泊湿地)的鸟类进行了调查,共记录到鸟类132种,隶属于15目34科75属.其中留鸟27种,夏候鸟22种,冬候鸟34种,旅鸟49种.鸟类区系组成:古北种86种,东洋种28种,广布种18种.鸟类区系分析表明该保护区所在的淮北平原应属于古北界与东洋界之间广泛的过渡地带.  相似文献

Phytoplankton production and physico-chemical parameters were measured during the summers of 1976 and 1977 in Lake 95 at 60°52'N, 46°01'W (area 8 ha, z 6.9 m). The duration of lake stratification during summer was weather dependent. Concentrations of total-CO2 ranged from 2.04 mg l−1 (surface) to 4.02 mg l−1 (bottom during stratification). Nutrient concentrations were generally low, and systematic seasonal variation could not be detected with certainty. Vertical distribution of primary production typically showed a distinct maximum followed by a decline with depth. The low production, both per unit area (max. 60 mg C m−2 d−1) and per unit volume (max, 14.3 mg C m−3 d−1), and the annual production of 4.7 g C m−2 classified the lake as extremely oligotrophic.  相似文献

运用树木年轮气候学方法,研究原始阔叶红松林分布区内白石砬子自然保护区(40.9° N)、长白山自然保护区(42.4° N)、凉水自然保护区(47.2° N)和胜山自然保护区(49.4° N)4个纬度样地的2个径级红松径向生长对气候变化的响应,分析不同径级红松对气候因子响应的异同,以及影响不同纬度红松径向生长的关键气候因子,探讨气候变化显著的40多年中红松径向生长的变化动态.结果表明: 2个径级红松对气候因子的响应具有很大的相似性,但是小径级(胸径为10~20 cm)红松对当年生长季的平均最低气温以及上一年的气候因子更敏感,而大径级(胸径>40 cm)红松对当年生长季的平均最高气温和平均相对湿度更敏感.影响4个纬度样地红松径向生长的关键气候因子存在一定差异:在最南端的白石砬子自然保护区是当年生长季的季均气温和季均最高气温;最北端的胜山自然保护区是低温因子,包括所有季节的平均最低气温、冬季的平均最高气温,以及除上一年生长季末期和当年生长季以外所有季节的平均气温;中间纬度的长白山自然保护区是当年生长季和生长季末期的帕尔默干旱指数(PDSI)和当年生长季的降水量;凉水自然保护区是当年生长季的平均气温.在气温不断上升的40多年,最南端的2个径级红松径向生长均显著下降,最北端均显著上升,中间2个纬度样地变化均不显著.  相似文献

In the subarctic moss Dicranum elongatum Schleich & Schwaegr., the level of total lipids and triacylglycerols (TAG) was high in late winter and spring and low in autumn and winter. Four-week exposure of field material to continuous light (135μmol m−2s−1) at 1°C resulted in a considerable increase in the amount of TAG in the autumn material acclimated to low temperatures and rhythmic light in the field. In contrast, the same treatment did not cause any increase in TAG in the spring material, acclimated to low temperatures and continuous light in the field. Results from experiments, in which moss cultivated for 4 months at 9°C on 12-h photoperiods (135μmol m−2s−1) was kept for 3 weeks at low temperatures (9°C and −3°C) either in continuous light (135 or 70 μmol m−2s−1) or with 12-h photoperiods (135 μmol m−2s−1), indicated that the TAG level was higher at higher light intensity. At 9°C it was also higher in continuous light of both intensities than in rhythmic light. These results strongly suggest that decreasing irradiance and decreasing daylength limits the accumulation of TAG in D. elongatum during autumn in the subarctic.  相似文献

研究了淡水条件下潜流型人工湿地污水处理系统中红树植物海桑、桐花树和木榄的抗性生理特性.结果表明,在为期1年的试验中,人工湿地污水处理系统3种红树植物超氧物歧化(SOD)、过氧化物酶(POD)和过氧化氢酶(CAT)活性持续升高并维持在较高水平,脯氨酸含量在7~9月达到最高水平,质膜透性没有明显的变化规律.对人工湿地与深圳福田自然保护区3种红树植物抗性生理指标进行比较,前者SOD、POD和CAT活性明显低于后者,脯氨酸含量前者明显高于后者,而丙二醛(MDA)含量和质膜透性则两者没有差别.3种红树植物能较好地适应淡水条件下潜流型人工湿地污水处理系统.  相似文献
