ALGAL SYMBIONT OF A SOFT CORAL1

The algal symbiont of the soft coral Sarcothelia edmondsoni (Verrill), is identified as the dinoflagellate Gymnodinium microadriaticum (Freudenthal) Taylor on the basis of its cytology apparent in electron micrographs. The character of the nucleus, peripheral lobed chloroplast with a vase-shaped pyrenoid body and other inclusions form the basis for identification.     

生物流体和软组织非线性参量B/A的进一步研究

非线性参量B/A是描述生物媒质非线性超声效应的重要参量.本文用有限振幅插入取代法研究了20种生物流体和软组织的非线性参量B/A值.研究表明所测样品的B/A值均在5至11之间,且B/A值随样品浓度有线性增长的依赖关系,还发现B/A值与样品结构之间存在着密切的联系.这些结果为超声诊断和应用提供了重要的信息.     

核仁组成区蛋白在软组织肿瘤及瘤样病变中的表达与意义

应用胶银技术,对软组织肿瘤特别是纤维源性肿瘤核仁组成区蛋白进行了定量研究。在软组织一些恶性肿瘤中,以血管肉瘤、横纹肌肉瘤核仁组成区蛋白均值最高,并以此排列了它们的恶性度顺序。在纤维源性肿瘤中,纤维瘤、瘤样纤维组织增生、纤维肉瘤及其亚类核仁组成区蛋白均值有显著与高度显著性差异(P<0.05、P<0.001),其中随访的34例纤维肉瘤患者,具有高核仁组成区蛋白均值(≥5)与低核仁组成区蛋白均值(<5)的5年生存率分别是20％和53％(P<0.05)。因此,作者认为核仁组成区蛋白定量在判定软组织肿瘤的恶性度、鉴别其良恶性及预测患者预后中均有一定实用价值。     

THE EFFECT OF SOFT SELECTION ON THE VARIABILITY OF A QUANTITATIVE TRAIT

The equilibrium phenotypic variance of a normally distributed quantitative character P under soft selection is studied. This character is assumed to undergo Gaussian stabilizing selection W(p, x) = exp[–(p – x)²/2w²]. The environmentally determined optimum (x) is a normal variable with variance s². A stable equilibrium with is found, so that increases both with increasing environmental heterogeneity and with increasing local intensity of stabilizing selection. It is shown that both genetic and environmental components of the variance are selected until this equilibrium is reached. Habitat selection, supposed to be normal (with variance H²) around the optimum, also increases the value. Nevertheless, relatively intense local stabilizing selection (w < s) and accurate habitat choice (H < s) are required for the initial spread and the evolutionary stability of this habitat selection.     

中华鳖转铁蛋白基因序列特征及表达研究

转铁蛋白是呼吸链的关键因子, 参与体液和免疫系统的调节, 具有抗菌抗病毒等功能。研究从嗜水气单胞菌诱导的中华鳖肝脏SMART cDNA文库中, 分离克隆了中华鳖转铁蛋白基因cDNA和gDNA全序列, 对其序列特征、组织表达及原核表达进行了分析研究。结果显示, 中华鳖转铁蛋白对应全长cDNA的基因组DNA全长为19100 bp, 由17个外显子和16个内含子组成; cDNA全长为2359 bp, 开放阅读框为 2094 bp, 编码697个氨基酸; 转铁蛋白的分子量为76.6 kD, 包含2个糖基化位点, 存在4个二硫键形成区域的缺失, 两个同源结构域的相似性为37%, 信号肽位于第119位点。荧光定量PCR结果显示, 正常组中华鳖转铁蛋白基因在肝脏中的表达量最大; 以嗜水气单胞菌刺激后, 其在心、肝、脾和肾脏组织中的表达, 均有一个上调后减少的趋势。此外, 实验还进行了重组转铁蛋白原核表达和Western blot 检测鉴定, 为深入研究中华鳖转铁蛋白功能的提供了基础数据。       

RHODOLITHS: BETWEEN ROCKS AND SOFT PLACES

Rhodoliths (maërl) are widely distributed in the worlds' oceans and have an excellent fossil record. Individuals are slow growing, may be long lived (>100 years), and are resilient to a variety of environmental disturbances. Their external morphology and internal growth bands are potential archives of environmental variation at scales of within years to tens of years. At high densities, these free-living non-geniculate coralline algae form rhodolith beds, communities of high diversity that can be severely impacted by resource extraction.     

光周期对中华鳖稚鳖摄食、生长和能量转换的影响

在水温２９±１℃,光照强度５００ｌｘ的条件下,研究了不同光周期对中华鳖稚鳖的最大日摄食量、最大日摄食率、特定生长率、同化效率、消化时间和生长效率的影响。结果表明,光周期对中华鳖稚鳖的上述各指标均无显著影响。随体重的增加,中华鳖稚鳖的最大日摄食量逐渐增大,而最大日摄食率则逐渐减少。在人工养殖中华鳖稚鳖过程中,光照周期的选择是次要的     

软组织扩张下的生物力学特性

对狗后肢扩张后和对照侧的隐神经、隐动脉、隐静脉进行应力－应变、应力松驰实验,确定其应力－应变函数和连续松驰谱的各参数。从应力－应变曲线和归一化连续松驰曲线来看,在扩张后的短时期内,随着扩张器注水量的增加,扩张后样品的力学特性相对于其对照侧样品的特性又趋于接近,隐神经,隐动脉,隐静脉都表现出这样的规律。
