对被子植物起源研究中的几种观点进行了讨论。(1)由于被子植物存在着一组共同的性状,它们不可能是从不同祖先起源的,而是有着共同的祖先。被子植物是一个单源起源的类群。现存被子植物分类系统是依据包括形态学(广义)、分子系统学、古植物学和植物地理学等的综合性状建立的,只能表示出现存类群的亲缘关系并且追溯到它们最近的祖先。人们现在还不可能建立一个包括全部已绝灭的类群和现代生存类群的谱系发生系统。因此,现存被子植物分类系统只能看作是“亲缘”系统。(2)分析了用于推测被子植物起源时间的分子、化石和地理分布证据。我们认为,要确定被子植物起源时间,植物化石是一类重要证据,但化石只能说是植物本身可保存部分和当时当地所提供的化石条件的综合反映,它们不可能就是植物类群或种的起源时间。人们还必须考虑到化石本身的演化历史。应用分子钟也是一种手段,但误差比较大。如果我们除了利用上述两种资料之外,根据植物类群的现代分布格局及其形成,把植物的演化同地球的历史和板块运动联系起来,以推断它们起源的时间,这无疑会增加其可信度。通过对56个种子植物不同演化水平的重要科属地理分布的研究结果,我们曾提出被子植物的起源时间可能要追溯到早侏罗世,甚至晚三叠世。(3)分析了基于分子证据所提出的被子植物基部类群——ANITA成员(包括无油樟科Amborellaceae、睡莲科Nymphaeaceae、八角目Illiciales、早落瓣科Trimeniaceae、木兰藤科Austrobaileyaceae)的性质,讨论了ANITA成员在现代几个被子植物分类系统中的系统位置的不同观点,评价了它们的形态学(广义)性状。指出ANITA的成员由于包含大量的祖征,是属于原始的类群。但由于它们的共有衍征很少,如花粉球形,说明它们在被子植物演化早期就分道扬镳了,沿着不同的传代线分化。因此ANITA是一个源于不同传代线的复合群。  相似文献

MicroRNA(miRNA)是一类由内源基因编码的长度为21~23nt的非编码单链小RNA分子,通过与靶基因的互补位点结合而降解或抑制靶mRNA的翻译,从而在转录后水平上调控基因的活性。miRNA在调控植物发育方面发挥着广泛的作用。从成花诱导到花器官特征属性的形成,miRNA在整个花发育过程均发挥着关键作用。miRl72和miRl56/157参与由营养生长向生殖生长转换的调控,miRl72和miRl69在花发育的早期阶段通过界定靶基因的表达区域而调控花器官的属性,miR319、miRl59、miRl64以及miRl67在花发育的晚期阶段决定细胞的特化。文章综述了miRNA调控被子植物花发育的研究进展,为深入了解miRNA的作用机制奠定基础。  相似文献

助细胞是被子植物雌配子体的组成细胞之一, 是大多数被子植物完成受精作用的关键环节之一。在受精过程中, 助细胞吸引花粉管向雌配子体生长, 并接受花粉管长入细胞程序死亡助细胞中。接下来的花粉管停止生长和花粉管顶端破裂释放出2个精细胞的过程可能也依赖于助细胞。另外, 雄性生殖单位的解体、提供精细胞的运动轨道和启动精细胞合成DNA的生物学事件也可能与助细胞有关。助细胞的形态结构已研究得比较清楚, 但有关助细胞的发育机理和它在受精过程中的作用则仍不明确。近年来对助细胞的研究又取得了一些新结果, 尤其是一些分子生物学的研究结果为揭示助细胞的功能提供了重要线索。该文总结了这方面的研究成果, 并对助细胞的生殖功能进行了分析。  相似文献

With the advent of new methods and techniques, floral development has been ex tensively studied in many groups of angiosperms recently. These studies have resulted in notable progress and greatly increased our knowledge about the diversity of floral structure and developmental patterns as well as phylogenetic relationship of angiosperms. This field is be coming an active and exciting one in systematics of flowering plants. The present paper re viewed this progress from four aspects: (1) the methods of studies on floral development; (2) floral development and the diversity of floral structure; (3) floral development and phylogeny of angiosperms; (4) molecular genetics of floral development. In addition, several future directions and some problems needing attention in this field are discussed: (1) extensive studies on floral developmental studies of extensive species of angiosperms and comparison of floral structures among them; (2) research of floral development of homeotic flowers as well as their systematic and evolutionary value; (3) floral structure should be studied from the viewpoint of dynamics, because the structure of plants can be seen as a spatio-temporal pro- cess, and the use of structural categories in systematics may distort the natural dynamics.  相似文献

Due to its wide distribution covering three of the largest Neotropical biomes, Philodendron subgenus Meconostigma is an interesting model to discuss the diversification of Neotropical plants. The aim of this study was to test a previous hypothesis that the Eastern and Southern species of P. subg. Meconostigma have plesiomorphic gynoecial structure while in Amazonian species they are apomorphic. To this end, we conducted an analysis of maximum parsimony with generalized frequency coding method using a matrix with 59 morphological characters and 90% of the species of P. subg. Meconostigma. The phylogenetic reconstruction suggests that the subgenus is monophyletic and originates from open areas of Cerrado. Four morphological synapomorphies support the monophyly of the subgenus and seven synapomorphies support four minor clades within it. Our results also include characterization of three new gynoecial subtypes (A1, A2 and A3) within the subgenus. Subtype A2 (undeveloped stylar body with long stylar canals, absent central stylar dome, shallow compitum) is basal and represents the ancestral gynoecium in the group. These findings suggest that the balance between pollen uptake and accessibility of the locules were decisive to drive gynoecium evolution in the subgenus Meconostigma.  相似文献

The floral development and anatomy ofChrysosplenium alternifolium were studied with the scanning electron microscope and light microscope to understand the initiation sequence of the floral organs and the morphology of the flower, and to find suitable floral characters to interpret the systematic position of the genus within the Saxifragaceae. The tetramerous flower shows a highly variable initiation sequence. The median sepals and first stamens arise in a paired sequence resembling a dimerous arrangement, but the first sepal and stamen arise on the side opposite to the bract. Transversal sepals and stamens emerge sequentially, as one side often precedes the other; sepals and stamens occasionally arise on common primordia. Initiation of the gynoecium is more constant with two median carpel primordia arising on a sunken floral apex. Several flowers were found to be pentamerous with a 2/5 initiation sequence. Flowers were invariably found to be apetalous without traces of petals in primordial stages; this condition is interpreted as an apomorphy. It is postulated that the development of a broad gynoecial nectary is responsible for the occurrence of an obdiplostemonous androecium. The gynoecium shows a number of anatomical particularities not observed in other Saxifragaceae. The presence and distribution of colleters is discussed.  相似文献

The previously insignificant and small South American subtribe Barnadesiinae of tribe Mutisieae has been shown recently to be ancient within Asteraceae. Due to absence of a 22 kb diagnostic chloroplast inversion, plus other features, this subtribe has been elevated to subfamilial status as Barnadesioideae, now containing 90 species in nine genera. Recent cladistic analyses at the generic and specific levels based on morphology and DNA sequences (ITS and trnL intron) have revealed different relationships among taxa of the subfamily. To better understand these conflicts, we analyze specific morphological features of corollas (shape and vascularization) to develop trends (trees) in these features based on minimal structural change (i.e., morphological parsimony), and to compare these with relationships among genera derived from the two recent cladistic analyses. We define six principal types of corollas in Barnadesioideae (tubular, split, double split, ligulate, subbilabiate and bilabiate) and six principal types of corolla vascularization patterns (combinations of presence or absence of central bundles, fusion of adjacent bundles and fusion of bundles at the apex of corolla lobes). In all features we assume character states in Calyceraceae to be ancestral. In corolla shape, from tubular ancestry, we hypothesize two general evolutionary trends within the subfamily: (1) splitting of the tube, and (2) flattening of the tube. In vascularization of corollas, from an ancestral condition of one central and one lateral bundle in each corolla lobe and all traces fused at the apex, we hypothesize four basic trends: (1) gain or (2) loss of lateral vascular traces in each lobe, (3) loss of the central vein, and (4) loss of fusion of traces in lobe apices. These morphological trends allow tests of the two previous phylogenetic hypotheses by (1) counting step changes (following steps in the morphological network) in the two characters on the two competing phylogenetic trees and (2) constructing an index of morphological advancement for each genus (based on morphological trees of the two characters) and correlating these with cladistic distances within the two phylogenies. Results of both tests reveal the molecular phylogeny to be more compatible with evolutionary inferences from the two morphological features. With Fulcaldea excluded, a highly significant correlation is seen between morphological advancement and cladistic distance in the molecular phylogeny.  相似文献

The effect of evolutionary history on wood density variation may play an important role in shaping variation in wood density, but this has largely not been tested. Using a comprehensive global dataset including 27,297 measurements of wood density from 2621 tree species worldwide, we test the hypothesis that the legacy of evolutionary history plays an important role in driving the variation of wood density among tree species. We assessed phylogenetic signal in different taxonomic (e.g., angiosperms and gymnosperms) and ecological (e.g., tropical, temperate, and boreal) groups of tree species, explored the biogeographical and phylogenetic patterns of wood density, and quantified the relative importance of current environmental factors (e.g., climatic and soil variables) and evolutionary history (i.e., phylogenetic relatedness among species and lineages) in driving global wood density variation. We found that wood density displayed a significant phylogenetic signal. Wood density differed among different biomes and climatic zones, with higher mean values of wood density in relatively drier regions (highest in subtropical desert). Our study revealed that at a global scale, for angiosperms and gymnosperms combined, phylogeny and species (representing the variance explained by taxonomy and not direct explained by long-term evolution process) explained 84.3% and 7.7% of total wood density variation, respectively, whereas current environment explained 2.7% of total wood density variation when phylogeny and species were taken into account. When angiosperms and gymnosperms were considered separately, the three proportions of explained variation are, respectively, 84.2%, 7.5% and 6.7% for angiosperms, and 45.7%, 21.3% and 18.6% for gymnosperms. Our study shows that evolutionary history outpaced current environmental factors in shaping global variation in wood density.  相似文献

New MADS box domains have been cloned from Asparagus officinalis L. using PCR technology. Several clones share high homology with the Arabidopsis agamous gene while other clones appear to represent novel MADS box domains. A molecular phylogenetic analysis was performed on 14 species of the Mediterranean unrewarding orchid genus Serapias using sequences of four noncoding regions of chloroplast DNA. This study has led to a new interpretation of the evolutionary relationships in this genus. The well-defined phylogenetic tree supports a division of taxa into two main clades, each including two minor groups. The molecular relationships found in this study differ from those defined by traditional systematic morphological assessments. By comparing the variation in sequence to variations in floral traits, we propose that the split in the two main lineages reflects an early differentiation of flower size, perhaps due to the shift from allo- to self-pollination. Conversely, the relationships within each minor group do not reflect floral size variation; therefore, we presume that this diversification resulted from genetic drift, local selection forces, and multiple, independent transitions towards self-pollination and polyploidy.  相似文献

The co-dominant Tunicate (Tu) mutation in maize causes nonreproductive structures in both the male and female inflorescences to be enlarged. This mutation also affects sex determination, permitting the development of pistils in the normally staminate tassel. In order to characterize the role of the normal tu gene product, we have analysed genetic interaction between Tu and other mutations that perturb specific stages of floral development. Synergistic interactions observed suggested that the tu product functions in at least three stages of floral development–determination of spikelet primordia, differentiation of non-reproductive organs and pistil abortion in the tassel. © 1994 Wiley-Liss, Inc.  相似文献

The complete nucleotide sequence of the duckweed (Lemna minor) chloroplast genome (cpDNA) was determined. The cpDNA is a circular molecule of 165,955 bp containing a pair of 31,223-bp inverted repeat regions (IRs), which are separated by small and large single-copy regions of 89,906 and 13,603 bp, respectively. The entire gene pool and relative positions of 112 genes (78 protein-encoding genes, 30 tRNA genes, and 4 rRNA genes) are almost identical to those of Amborella trichopoda cpDNA; the minor difference is the absence of infA and ycf15 genes in the duckweed cpDNA. The inverted repeat is expanded to include ycf1 and rps15 genes; this pattern is unique and does not occur in any other sequenced cpDNA of land plants. As in basal angiosperms and eudicots, but not in other monocots, the borders between IRs and a large single-copy region are located upstream of rps19 and downstream of trnH, so that trnH is not included in IRs. The model of rearrangements of the chloroplast genome during the evolution of monocots is proposed as the result of the comparison of cpDNA structures in duckweed and other monocots. The phylogenetic analyses of 61 protein-coding genes from 38 plastid genome sequences provided strong support for the monophyly of monocots and position of Lemna as the next diverging lineage of monocots after Acorales. Our analyses also provided support for Amborella as a sister to all other angiosperms, but in the bayesian phylogeny inference based on the first two codon positions Amborella united with Nymphaeales.  相似文献

兰花形态优雅,花香馥郁,花形奇特,具有高度特化的花器官,观赏价值较高。有关兰花花器官形成分子机理以及基因组测序正在不断研究中。为了探讨兰花基因间相互作用情况,本研究以春兰为材料进行基因克隆,获得了18个花发育相关基因的编码序列,经测序鉴定分别属于ABCDE类MADS-box家族基因。再以其中春兰AP/AGL9组的CgSEP1为诱饵蛋白,亚克隆至pGBKT7质粒,构建诱饵载体,将18个蛋白编码亚克隆至pGADT7质粒。通过酵母双杂系统筛选到了3个与其互作的蛋白:pGADT7-AG1、p GADT7-SEP2、pGADT7-AGL6-3。结果表明,C类AG-like和E类SEP-like、AGL-like家族基因参与SEP1基因春兰花发育过程,并形成多种蛋白混合物,共同调控花瓣和萼片的形成,进一步揭示了春兰的成花机理。  相似文献
