Americabaetis (Insecta: Ephemeroptera: Baetidae), previously considered synonymous with Acerpenna, is reinstated and given generic rank. The genus differs from Acerpenna in lacking hindwings, gills on abdominal segment 1, and a conical process between the male genital forceps, and in possessing apically rounded gills on abdominal segment 7. The genus has a general Neotropical distribution with a northern limit in east-central Mexico. Five new species of Americabaetis are described from South America: A. alphus, new species, from Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, and Paraguay; A. labiosus, new species, from Brazil, Paraguay, and Uruguay; A. longetron, new species, from Brazil, Paraguay, and Uruguay; A. maxifolium, new species, from Paraguay; and A. titthion, new species, from Brazil. Americabaetis boriquensis, new combination; A. intermedius, new combination; A. naranjoi, new combination; A. pleturus, new combination; and A. robacki, new combination, are reviewed.  相似文献

Three new genera and three new species of Baetidae (Insecta: Ephemeroptera) are described from the Andes and Patagonia. Larvae of Andesiops, new genus, are distinguished by the apically bifid right prostheca and two rows of denticles on the tarsal claws. Larvae of Deceptiviosa, new genus, are distinguished by the apically bifid right prostheca and small subapical denticle on the tarsal claws. Larvae of Nanomis, new genus, are distinguished by the apically acute maxillary palp segment 2, smooth posterior margin of the terga, and paddle-shaped subapical seta on the hindtibiae. Adults of Andesiops and Deceptiviosa are similar, but distinguished from other South American baetids by having hindwings with a small costal process in the basal one third and three lon gitudinal veins with the middle vein being forked, and an elongate and ellipsoidal genital forceps segment 3. Larvae and adults of Andesiops peruvianus, new combination, are redescribed, and additional locale data are provided for Argentina, Bolivia, Ecuador, and Venezuela. Deceptiviosa ardua, new species, is described from larvae from Chile, and D. torrens, new species, is described from larvae and adults from Chile and Argentina. Nanomis galera, new species, is described from larvae from Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, and Peru.  相似文献

Eight aeolid opisthobranch molluscs of the subfamilies Facelininae, Favorininae, and Herviellinae are reported from Tanzanian waters, and two species from Northwestern India. New records from Queensland, Australia greatly extend the range of two species reported from Tanzania. Phidiana militaris (Alder & Hancock) and P. indica (Bergh) are shown to be distinct and a species from New Zealand, originally identified as P. militaris , is shown to be new. P. bourailli (Risbec), previously reported only from New Caledonia, is described from Tanzania, as is a new species of Phidiana. Favorinus japonicus Baba is reported from Tanzania, the first published record outside Japan, a new species of Godiva is described from Tanzania and Queensland, and three new species of Sakuraeolis are described, one from India and two from Tanzania. 基因组重排是一种基于原生质体融合,并对原生质进行递推式融合的新型技术。随着基因组重排技术的不断发展和成熟,通过基因组重排获得新代谢产物的例子不断出现,表明该项技术作为新代谢产物开发的途径具有一定的应用前景。在此列举了基因组重排在开发新代谢产物方面的成果,包括基因组重排激活沉默基因产生新代谢产物;基因组重排引入单酶基因产生新抗生素;基因组重排互换基因模块产生杂合抗生素和基因组重排替换前体基因产生新抗生素的例子,并展望了其发展的趋势。  相似文献

The genus Phloeoditica Schedl currently includes four species from Southeast Asia. These species vary substantially in important morphological characters and indicate the existence of multiple genera for these species. A revision based on morphological and in part molecular data resulted in the transfer of Phloeoditica setosa to Pseudoxylechinus the erection of a new genus Asiophilus for Phloeoditica phloeosinoides and a new species Asiophilus macropunctatus from Vietnam. Another new genus with affinities to Phloeoditica is described based on the new species Microditica uniseriata from Thailand. The new genera are included in a revised key to the tribe Phloeosinini.  相似文献

依据Dickinson,E.C.,主编,2003年出版的"The Howard and Moore Complete Checklist of the Birds of the World"一书和2000~2008年的有关文献的记载,在1958~2008年的50年期间,全世界所描述发表鸟类的新种,计有171种.以每10年中所发表的新种数进行统计比较,以1997~2007年期间所发表的新种为最多;按发现新种所属目级分类阶元的统计比较,以雀形目发现的新种为最多;按地区进行统计比较,以南美洲发现的新种数为最多,非洲中南部地区和太平洋诸岛为次;在中国境内描记的新种有台湾短翅莺Bradypterus alishannensis、峨嵋柳莺Phylloscopus emeiensis、海南柳莺Phylloscopus hainanus、峨嵋鹟莺Seicercus omeiensis、淡尾鹟莺Seicercus soror、弄岗穗鹛Stachyris nonggangensis、四川旋木雀Certhia tianquanensis等7种,其中由中国鸟类学者描记的有四川旋木雀和弄岗穗鹛两种.这说明鸟类的宏观分类研究,时至今日仍有研究的必要和发展空间.种下分类,是探讨同一个物种,随着分布区域的扩大,自然地理环境条件的变化,而产生地区性分布种群的变异,以致新物种形成的途径,是宏观分类学研究一个物种的演化发展.所以是当今鸟类分类研究的热点之一.据统计,1958~2008年的50年间,新描述发表的亚种数,约为1 129亚种.繁殖区域分布较为广泛的种类,所描记的亚种较多.如岛鸫Turdus poliocephalus分化有51亚种之多.中国鸟类的分类与区系地理学研究,大致可分为起步时期(1949年以前)、新中国建立之后的考察及宏观分类研究的总结整理时期(1950~2005)和宏观与微观相结合的发展研究时期(1999年以后)等3个时期.郑作新所出版的<中国鸟类分布名录>和<中国鸟类区系纲要>等专著,是中国鸟类宏观分类和区系地理学研究较为翔实的阶段性总结,为进一步研究奠定了坚实的基础.  相似文献

Nine new species and a new variety are described: Aphelandra villonacensis from prov. Loja, A. anderssonii from Loja, A. azuayensis from Azuay, A. rumbecensis from Tumbes, Peru, A. zamorensis from Zamora-Chinchipe, A. loxensis from Loja, A. neillii from Zamora-Chinchipe, A. rosulata var. albinotata from Morona-Santiago, A. albinotata from Esmeraldas, and A. mollissima from San Martin, Peru. Six new genera, one new subgenus, and ten new species of trilobites are described from the Upper Cambrian Chopko Formation from a section of the Chopko River, Norilsk District, northwestern part of the Siberian Platform. These include one genus and two species of agnostids and five genera, one subgenus, and eight species of polymerids. 本文对采自东北地区的115份茎点霉(Phoma)和叶点霉(Phyllosticta)的标本进行分类研究,有新种2个和国内新记录种9个。新种是木瓜生叶点霉(Phyllosticta chaenomelesicola L.Yu et Bai)和草玉铃生叶点霉(Phyllosticta convallaricola L.Yu et Bai)。新种有拉丁文和汉文描述及图。对新记录种作了简要介绍。模式标本保存于沈阳农业大学植保系真菌标本室(HMSAU)。  相似文献

Abstract. Eight new species of Clambidae from Sulawesi (Celebes), and two new species and a new subspecies from Borneo and Sumatra are described. The emerging distribution patterns reflect the long-standing isolation of Sulawesi from the rest of the Sunda Islands and from the Asian continent. Although protein enzymes with new catalytic activities can arise from existing scaffolds, less is known about the origin of ribozymes with new activities. Furthermore, mechanisms by which new macromolecular folds arise are not well characterized for either protein or RNA. Here we investigate how readily ribozymes with new catalytic activities and folds can arise from an existing ribozyme scaffold. Using in vitro selection, we isolated 23 distinct kinase ribozymes from a pool of sequence variants of an aminoacylase parent ribozyme. Analysis of these new kinases showed that ribozymes with new folds and biochemical activities can be found within a short mutational distance of a given ribozyme. However, the probability of finding such ribozymes increases considerably as the mutational distance from the parental ribozyme increases, indicating a need to escape the fold of the parent.  相似文献

The present account of some Bryozoa from Vanuatu is the first study of reef-flat species from the eastern Coral Sea. Based on samples collected from several shallow water localities on the island of Efate, a total of 92 species is described, including a new family, three new genera and 20 new species. Some of the newly recognized species are the result of taxonomic revision stimulated by these new samples, while others are entirely new to science. Of the new taxa described here, 16 are presently known only from Vanuatu. The total number of species recorded does not accurately represent the true taxonomic diversity of the Cheilostomatida of Vanuatu, and further sampling, at other localities and in other habitats, is needed before it can be reasonably estimated. The fauna is predominantly Indo-West Pacific in character with a high proportion of species apparently known only in the Southwest Pacific.  相似文献

A new primate genus and species, represented by isolated teeth, is described from the middle Eocene Alsatian site of Bouxwiller. This new form is closely related to Egerkingen 'Adapis' ruetimeyeri, for which a new genus is proposed because of the important distinctions from type Adapis present in its dentition. Running increases the formation of new neurons in the adult rodent hippocampus. However, the function of new neurons generated from running is currently unknown. One hypothesis is that new neurons from running contribute to enhanced cognitive function by increasing plasticity in the adult hippocampus. An alternative hypothesis is that new neurons generated from running incorporate into experience-specific hippocampal networks that only become active during running. The purpose of this experiment was to determine if new neurons generated from running are selectively activated by running, or can become recruited into granule cell activity occurring during performance on other behavioral tasks that engage the hippocampus. Therefore, the activation of new 5-6 week neurons was detected using BrdU, NeuN, and Zif268 triple-label immunohistochemistry in cohorts of female running and sedentary adult C57BL/6J mice following participation in one of three different tasks: the Morris water maze, novel environment exploration, or wheel running. Results showed that running and sedentary mice displayed a nearly equivalent proportion of new neurons that expressed Zif268 following each task. Since running approximately doubled the number of new neurons, the results demonstrated that running mice had a greater number of new neurons recruited into the Zif268 induction in the granule cell layer following each task than sedentary mice. The results suggest that new neurons incorporated into hippocampal circuitry from running are not just activated by wheel running itself, but rather become broadly recruited into granule cell layer activity during distinct behavioral experiences. ? 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.  相似文献
