The complexation of 3-, 4-, and 6-fluorosalicylic acids (HL) with copper(II) was investigated in aqueous solution by pH-potentiometry combined with UV-visible spectrophotometry, and in 50 v/v % water-methanol mixture by the two-dimensional ESR simulation method. Both methods showed the formation of [CuLH−1] and [CuL2H−2]2− of high stabilities, and, at low excess of ligand, the ESR-silent mixed hydroxido complex [Cu2L2H−3]. Further species were also identified by the two-dimensional ESR simulation method: [CuL]+ in the acidic region, the minor dimer [Cu2L2H−2], and the cis and the trans isomers for [CuL2H−2]2−. The position of the fluorine atom in the aromatic ring had significant effect on the coordination abilities of the ligands, in good correlation with their reported biological activities. It was 3-fluorosalicylic acid, which formed the most stable complexes [CuLH−1] and [CuL2H−2]2−, while the mononuclear complexes with 6-fluorosalicylic acid were found to be the least stable. For the other ligands (including 5-fluorosalicylic acid studied recently), complexes of medium stabilities were formed. For the interpretation of these findings, ab initio and semi-empirical quantum chemical calculations were carried out for the ligand molecules, isolated and surrounded by water molecules, respectively.  相似文献

The previously reported complex [Ru(ttpy)(CN)3] [ttpy = 4′(p-tolyl)-2,2′:6′,2″-terpyridine] is conveniently synthesised by reaction of ttpy with Ru(dmso)4Cl2 to give [Ru(ttpy)(dmso)Cl2], which reacts in turn with KCN in aqueous ethanol to afford [Ru(ttpy)(CN)3] which was isolated and crystallographically characterised as both its (PPN)+ and K+ salts. The K+ salt contains clusters containing three complex anions and three K+ cations connected by end-on and side-on cyanide ligation to the K+ ions. The solution speciation behaviour of [Ru(ttpy)(CN)3] was investigated with both Zn2+ and K+ salts in MeCN, a solvent sufficiently non-competitive to allow the added metal cations to associate with the complex anion via the externally-directed cyanide lone pairs. UV-Vis spectroscopic titration of (PPN)[Ru(ttpy)(CN)3] with Zn(ClO4)2 showed a blue shift of 2900 cm−1 in the 1MLCT absorption manifold due to the ‘metallochromism’ effect; a series of distinct binding events could be discerned corresponding to formation of 4:1, 1:1 and then 1:3 anion:cation adducts, all with high formation constants, as the titration proceeded. In contrast titration of (PPN)[Ru(ttpy)(CN)3] with the more weakly Lewis-acidic KPF6 resulted in a much smaller blue-shift of the 1MLCT absorptions, and the titration data corresponded to formation of 1:1 and then 2:1 cation:anion adducts with weaker stepwise association constants of the order of 104 and then 103 M−1. Although association of [Ru(ttpy)(CN)3] resulted in a blue-shift of the 1MLCT absorptions, the luminescence was steadily quenched, as raising the 3MLCT level makes radiationless decay via a low-lying 3MC state possible.  相似文献

A potential tetradentate indolecarboxamide ligand, H4L3 is synthesized and investigated for its coordination abilities towards Ni(II) and Cu(II) ions. Two H4L3 ligands in their tetra-deprotonated form [L3]4−, were found to coordinate two metal centers resulting in the formation of [Ni2(L3)2]4− (5) and [Cu2(L3)2]4− (6) complexes. The crystal structure of 6 displays the formation of a dinuclear structure where two fully deprotonated ligands, [L3]4− hold two copper(II) ions together. Even more interesting is the fact that both deprotonated ligands, [L3]4− coordinate the copper ions in an identical and symmetrical fashion. The Na+ cations present in the complex 6 stitch together the dinuclear units resulting in the formation of a coordination chain polymer. Four sodium ions connect two dinuclear units via interacting with the Oamide groups. Further, Na+ cations were found to coordinate several DMF molecules; some of them are terminal and a few are bridging in nature. The solution state structure (determined by the NMR spectral analysis) of the diamagnetic complex 5 also supported the fact that two deprotonated ligands, coordinate two nickel ions in an identical and symmetrical fashion. Absorption spectral studies reveal that the solid-state square-planar geometry is retained in solution and both complexes do not show any tendency to coordinate potential axial ligands. The variable-temperature magnetic measurements and EPR spectra indicate spin-spin exchange between two copper centers in complex 6. The electrochemical results for both complexes show three irreversible oxidative responses that correspond to the oxidation of first and second metal ion followed by the ligand oxidation, respectively.  相似文献

The syntheses of the aliphatic bidentate guanidine-amine-hybrid ligands DMEGdmae (L1), TMGdmae (L2), TMGdeae (L3) and DPipGdmae (L4) as well as the reaction of their Cu(I) complexes with molecular oxygen (monitored by UV-Vis spectroscopy) are reported. The molecular structures of 10 bis(μ-hydroxo) dicopper complexes based on these ligands are described. The solid state structures of [Cu2(μ-OH)2(DMEGdmae)2]X2 (X = I (1), CF3SO3 (2), SbF6 (3), PF6 (4)), [Cu2(μ-OH)2(TMGdmae)2]X2 (X = I (5), CF3SO3 (6)), [Cu2(μ-OH)2(TMGdeae)2]Cu2I4 (7) and [Cu2(μ-OH)2(DPipGdmae)2]X2 (X = CF3SO3 (8), SbF6 (9), PF6 (10)) show a square-planar distorted coordination of the copper(II) ion. The bis(μ-hydroxo) dicopper complex 1 exhibits a Cu···Cu distance of 2.860(1) Å, which is one of the smallest observed for hydroxo-bridged copper compounds so far. The influence of the anion on the structure of the bis(μ-hydroxo) dicopper(II) unit is analyzed for the reported complexes and a literature overview with emphasis on the structural characteristics of the Cu2O2 moiety of bis(μ-hydroxo) dicopper(II) and bis(μ-oxo) dicopper(III) is given.  相似文献

The primary electron donor P700 in photosystem I is composed of two chlorophylls, PA and PB. P700 forms the cationic [PA/PB]•+ state as a result of light-induced electron transfer. We obtained a PA•+/PB•+ ratio of 28:72 and a spin distribution of 22:78 for the entire PSI protein-pigment complex. By considering the influence of the protein components on the redox potential for one-electron oxidation of PA/PB monomers, we found that the following three factors significantly contributed to a large PB•+ population relative to PA•+: 1), Thr-A743 forming a H-bond with PA; 2), PA as a chlorophyll a epimer; and 3), a conserved PsaA/PsaB pair, the Arg-A750/Ser-B734 residue. In addition, 4), the methyl-ester groups of the accessory chlorophylls A−1A/A−1B significantly stabilized the cationic [PA/PB]•+ state and 5), the methyl-ester group orientations were completely different in A−1A and A−1B as seen in the crystal structure. When the methyl-ester group was rotated, the spin-density distribution over PA/PB ranged from 22:78 to 15:85.  相似文献

Three new organic-inorganic hybrid materials with 4,4′-bipy ligands and copper cations as linkers, [CuII(H2O)(4,4′-bipy)2][CuII(H2O)(4,4′-bpy)2]2H[CuIIP8Mo12O62H12] · 5H2O (1), [CuI(4,4′-bipy)][CuII(4,4′-bipy)]2 (BW12O40) · (4,4′-bipy) · 2H2O (2) and [CuI (4,4′-bipy)]3 (PMo12O40) · (pip) · 2H2O (3) (pip = piperazine; 4,4′-bipy = 4,4′-bipyridine), have been hydrothermally synthesized. The single X-ray structural analysis reveals that the structure of 1 is constructed from [Cu(H2O)(4,4′-bipy)2] complexes into a novel, three-dimensional supermolecular network with 1-D channels in which Cu[P4Mo6]2 dimer clusters reside. To the best of our knowledge, compound 1 is the first complex in which the [P4Mo6] clusters have been used as a non-coordinating anionic template for the construction of a novel, three-dimensional supermolecular network. Compound 2 is constructed from the six-supported [BW12O40]5− polyoxoanions and [CuI(4,4′-bipy)] and [CuII(4,4′-bipy)] groups into a novel, 3-D network. Compound 3 exhibits unusual 3-D supramolecular frameworks, which are constructed from tetrasupporting [PMo12O40]3− clusters and [CuI (4,4′-bipy)n] coordination polymer chains. The electrochemical properties of 2 and 3 have been investigated in detail.  相似文献

A new bidentate chelating pyrazolylpyrimidine ligand bearing a strong electron-donating substituent, i.e. 4-(3,5-diphenyl-1H-pyrazol-1-yl)-6-(piperidin-1-yl)pyrimidine (L) (Scheme 1), has been synthesized and used to obtain the copper(II) complexes by reaction with CuCl2. The molar ratio Cu:L = 1:2 leads to isolation of a complex having CuL2Cl2 empirical formula, while the molar ratio Cu:L = 1:1 gives a complex with CuLCl2 empirical formula. The crystal structure of L as well as the structures of both complexes were studied by single crystal X-ray diffraction. The crystal structure of CuL2Cl2 compound is formed by trans-[CuL2Cl2] mononuclear molecules. Surprisingly, in contrast to the previous compound having molecular structure, the crystal structure of CuLCl2 consists of mononuclear [CuL2Cl]+ complex cations and dinuclear [Cu2Cl6]2− anions. Thus, formula of CuLCl2 complex can be represented as [CuL2Cl]2[Cu2Cl6]. In both complexes molecules of L adopt bidentate chelating coordination mode through N2 atom of pyrazole and N3 atom of pyrimidine rings forming five-membered CuN3C metallocycles. Owing to C-H···N interactions and π-π-stacking L molecules form 2D network. In the structure of trans-[CuL2Cl2] there exist double lone pair(N(piperidine))-π(pyrimidine) interactions and C-H···Cl contacts resulting in the formation of 1D chains. Layered 2D structure of [CuL2Cl]2[Cu2Cl6] results from C-H···Cl, C-H···π and double lone pair(Cl([CuL2Cl]+ complex cation)-π(pyrimidine) interactions.  相似文献

The acid-base properties and Cu(II), Ni(II), Ag(I) and Hg(II) binding abilities of PAMAM dendrimer, L, and of the simple model compounds, the tetraamides of EDTA and PDTA, L1, were studied in solution by pH-metric methods and by 1H NMR and UV-Vis spectroscopy. PAMAM is hexabasic and six pKa values have been determined and assigned. PAMAM forms five identifiable complexes with copper(II), [CuLH4]6+, [CuLH2]4+, [CuLH]3+, [CuL]2+ and [CuLH-1]+ in the pH range 2-11 and three with nickel(II), [NiLH]3+, [NiL]2+ and [NiLH-1]+ in the pH range 7-11. The complex [CuLH4]6+, which contains two tertiary nitrogen and three amide oxygen atoms coordinated to the metal ion, is less stable than the analogous EDTA and PDTA tetraamide complexes [CuL1]2+, which contain two tertiary nitrogen and four amide oxygen atoms, due to ring size and charge effects. With increasing pH, [CuLH4]6+ undergoes deprotonation of two coordinated amide groups to give [CuLH2]4+ with a concomitant change from O-amide to N-amidate coordination. Surprisingly and in contrast to the tetraamide complexes [CuL1]2+, these two deprotonation steps could not be separated. As expected the nickel(II) complexes are less stable than their copper(II) analogues. The tetra-N-methylamides of EDTA, L1(b), and PDTA form mononuclear and binuclear complexes with Hg(II). In the case of L1(b) these have stoichiometries HgL1(b)Cl2, [HgL1(b)H−2Cl2]2−, [Hg2L1(b)Cl2]2+, Hg2L1(b)H−2Cl2 and [Hg2L1(b)H−5Cl2]3−. Based on 1H NMR and pH-metric data the proposed structure for HgL1(b)Cl2, the main tetraamide ligand containing species in the pH range <3-6.5, contains L1(b) coordinated to the metal ion through the two tertiary nitrogens and two amide oxygens while the structure of [HgL1(b)H−2Cl2]2−, the main tetraamide ligand species at pH 7.5-9.0, contains the ligand similarly coordinated but through two amidate nitrogen atoms instead of amide oxygens. The proposed structure of [Hg2L1(b)Cl2]2+, a minor species at pH 3-6.5, also based on 1H NMR and pH-metric data, contains each Hg(II) coordinated to a tertiary amino nitrogen, two amide oxygens and a chloride ligand while that of [Hg2L1(b)H−5Cl2]3−, contains each Hg(II) coordinated to a tertiary amino nitrogen, two amidate nitrogens, a chloride and a hydroxo ligand in the case of one of the Hg(II) ions. The parent EDTA and PDTA amides only form mononuclear complexes. PAMAM also forms dinuclear as well as mononuclear complexes with mercury(II) and silver(I). In the pH range 3-11 six complexes with Hg(II) i.e. [HgLH4Cl2]4+, [HgLH3Cl2]3+, [Hg2LCl2]2+, [Hg2LH−1Cl2]+, [HgLH−1Cl2] and [HgLH−2Cl2]2− were identified and only two with Ag(I), [AgLH3]4+ and [Ag2L]2+. Based on stoichiometries, stability constant comparisons and 1H NMR data, structures are proposed for these species. Hence [HgLH4Cl2]4+ is proposed to have a similar structure to [CuLH4]6+ while [Hg2LCl2]2+has a similar structure to [Hg2L1(b)H−5Cl2]3−.  相似文献

New copper(II) complexes [CuL2]2+ (L2=7,7,9-trimethyl-1,3,6,10,13-pentaazabicyclo[11,2,11.13]hexadec-9-ene) and [Cu2(L3)(H2O)2]4+ have been prepared by the reaction of [CuL1]2+ (L1=5,5,7-trimethyl-1,4,8,11,14-pentaazatetradce-7-ene) and formaldehyde. The mononuclear complex [CuL2]2+ has a square-planar coordination geometry with a 5-6-5-6 chelate ring sequence and is relatively stable even in low pH at room temperature. The dinuclear complex [Cu2(L3)(H2O)2]4+ consists of two unsaturated 15-membered pentaaza macrocyclic units (7,7,9-trimethyl-1,3,6,10,13-pentaazacyclopentadec-9-ene) that are linked together by a methylene group in a tilted face-to-face arrangement [Cu?Cu distance: 7.413(2) Å ]. Each macrocyclic unit of [Cu2(L3)(H2O)2]4+ contains one four-membered chelate ring and has a severely distorted octahedral coordination polyhedron. The dinuclear complex is quite stable in aqueous solutions containing an excess of formaldehyde or in dry acetonitrile but is decomposed to [CuL1]2+ and [CuL2]2+ in pure water.  相似文献

The reaction of the bisguanidine copper(I) compounds [Cu(btmgp)I] and [Cu2(btmgp)2][PF6]2 with molecular oxygen afforded at low temperatures complexes containing the bis-μ-oxo dicopper(III) core, which is capable to hydroxylate one of the N-CH3-groups of the {bis(tetramethyl)guanidino}propane ligands. The formation of the novel ligand {bis(trimethylmethoxy)guanidino}propane (btmmO) is reported as it represents the first hydroxylation of a N-methyl group. The products of this reaction are novel alkoxo-bridged binuclear copper complexes, namely [Cu2(btmmO)2I]+ containing an iodide ion in a novel bridging situation, as well as [Cu2(btmmO)2]2+ which have been identified in their complex salts and [Cu2(btmmO)2][PF6]2 · 2MeCN, respectively. Concomitantly, the hydroxo-bridged binuclear copper compounds [Cu2(btmgp)2(μ-OH)2]I2 and [Cu2(btmgp)2(μ-OH)2][PF6]2 are formed as couple products. The formation of the bis-μ-oxodicopper(III) complexes was monitored by UV/Vis-spectroscopy, and the reaction products were characterised by X-ray diffraction, vibrational spectroscopy and elemental analysis.  相似文献

Specific salt effects were studied on the quenching reaction of excited [Ru(NN)3]2+ (NN=2,2′-bipyridine(bpy), 1,10-phenanthrorine(phen)) and [Cr(bpy)3]3+ by [Cr(CN)6]3−, [Fe(CN)6]3− and [Ni(CN)4]2− in aqueous solutions as a function of alkali metal ions which were added for adjustment of ionic strength. The quenching rate constants in [Ru(NN)3]2+-[Cr(CN)6]3− and [Cr(bpy)3]3+-[Cr(CN)6]3− systems are changed by the cations as Li+>Na+>K+≈Rb+≈Cs+. On the other hand, the rate constants in [Ru(NN)3]2+-[Fe(CN)6]3− and [Ru(NN)3]2+-[Ni(CN)4]2− systems, which are diffusion-controlled reactions, are not varied by the alkali metal cations. The obtained order (Li+>Na+>K+≈Rb+≈Cs+) of the quenching rate constant is quite different from salt effects, Li+<Na+<K+<Rb+<Cs+, which have been obtained in the electron transfer reactions between complex anions.  相似文献

The SS bond-activation of diorganyl disulfide by the anionic metal carbonyl fragment [Mn(CO)5] gives rise to an extensive chemistry. Oxidative decarbonylation addition of 2,2′-dithiobis(pyridine-N-oxide) to [Mn(CO)5], followed by chelation and metal-center oxidation, led to the formation of [MnII(SC5H4NO)3] (1). The effective magnetic moment in solid state by SQUID magnetometer was 5.88 μB for complex 1, which is consistent with the MnII having a high-spin d5 electronic configuration in an octahedral ligand field. The average Mn(II)S, SC and NO bond lengths of 2.581(1), 1.692(4) and 1.326(4) Å, respectively, indicate that the negative charge of the bidentate 1-oxo-2-thiopyridinato [SC5H4NO] ligand in complex 1 is mainly localized on the oxygen atom. The results are consistent with thiolate-donor [SC5H4NO] stabilization of the lower oxidation state of manganese (Mn(I)), while the O,S-chelating [SC5H4NO] ligand enhances the stability of manganese in the higher oxidation state (Mn(II)). Activation of SS bond as well as OH bond of 2,2′-dithiosalicylic acid by [Mn(CO)5] yielded [(CO)3Mn(μ-SC6H4C(O)O)2Mn(CO)3]2− (4). Oxidative addition of bis(o-benzamidophenyl) disulfide to [Mn(CO)5] resulted in the formation of cis-[Mn(CO)4(SR)2] (R=C6H4NHCOPh) which was employed as a chelating metallo ligand to synthesize heterotrinuclear [(CO)3Mn(μ-SR)3Co(μ-SR)3Mn(CO)3] (8) possessing a homoleptic hexathiolatocobalt(III) core.  相似文献

Under hydrothermal condition, two novel organic-inorganic hybrid compounds, [Cu(bpp)][Cu2.5(bpp)3(Hbpp)]H0.5[BW12O40]·1.5H2O (1) and [Cu(en)2(H2O)]{[Cu(bpp)]3[AlW12O40]}·H2O (2) (bpp = 1,3-bis(4-pyridyl)propane; en = ethylenediamine), have been synthesized based on B/Al atom-centered Keggin-type polyoxometalates combined with Cu ions and bpp ligands. The two compounds are characterized through single-crystal X-ray diffraction analysis, elemental analyse, IR, UV and TG. For compound 1, as the nodes, the [BW12O40]5− polyanions link to the [Cu2.5(bpp)3(Hbpp)]3.5+ oligomers, leading to the formation of 1D helical chains which further attach to the macrocycles [Cu2(bpp)2]2+ via the Cu-O weak interaction to construct the 2D “wave-like” layers. For compound 2, the {[Cu(bpp)]4[AlW12O40]2} unit is obtained by the interaction between two Keggin-type [AlW12O40]5− polyanions and one tetranuclear macrocycle composed by four [Cu(bpp)]+ complex cations. Furthermore, the units are sandwiched by two 1D “wave-like” polymeric chains resulting in a new 1D structure. In addition, the electrochemical properties and electrocatalytic activities of these two compounds have been studied in this paper.  相似文献

An asymmetric single EO azido bridged dinuclear copper(II) complex, [Cu2(dmterpy)2(μ-1,1-N3)(N3)2] · NO3 · (H2O)21 [dmterpy = 5,5″-dimethyl-2,2′:6′,2″-terpyridine], and a double EO azido bridged dinuclear nickel(II) complex, [Ni2(pbdiim)4(μ-1,1-N3)2] · 2(N3) · 6(H2O) 2 [pbdiim = 2-(2′-pyridyl)benzo[1,2-d:4,5-d′]diimidazole], have been synthesized and characterized structurally and magnetically. Compound 1 consists of a single EO azido bridged CuII dimer in which each CuII ion is five-coordinated in the form of a distorted square-based pyramid. The N(μ−1,1) atom holds on the apical position of one CuII pyramid with an elongated bond length of 2.305 Å and on the basal plane of another distorted CuII pyramid with a bond length of 1.991 Å. The Cu-N(μ−1,1)-Cu angle is 117.4 (2)°. The copper(II) dimer forms a 1 D zig-zag chain via hydrogen bondings between azide ions, water molecules and the nitrate anion. Compound 2 consists of a double EO azido bridged NiII dimer with the Ni-N(μ−1,1)-Ni bond angle of 102.96 (13)°. The coordination geometry of NiII is octahedral. Their magnetic properties have been measured in the range from 300 to 2 K and correlated with the molecular structures. Compound 1 shows weak ferromagnetic interactions within the copper(II) dimer (J = 2.88 cm−1), despite the large EO azide bridge angle (117.4 (2)°). The intramolecular coupling between the NiII (S = 1) ions in compound 2 was found to be ferromagnetic (J = 27.87 cm−1).  相似文献

New hydrogen-bonding assemblies were synthesized from the reaction of a metalloligand, [Cu(2,4-pydca)2]2− (LCu) (2,4-pydca = 2,4-pyridinedicarboxylate), with a FeII ion or an imidazole in an aqueous medium and crystallographically characterized. The obtained compounds, [Fe(H2O)6][Cu(2,4-pydca)2] (1) and [Cu(2,4-pydca)(imidazole)2] · 2H2O (2), have metalloligand dimer units, [Cu2(2,4-pydca)4]4− and [Cu2(2,4-pydca)2(imidazole)4], respectively, each of which assembles by π-π (1) and hydrogen-bonding (2) interactions to form 1-D metalloligand arrays. The 1-D metalloligand arrays are linked by rich hydrogen-bonding interactions via H2O molecules.  相似文献

Reaction of the imidazolidinyl phenolate-based ligand, H3L [(2-(2′-hydroxyphenyl)-1,3-bis[4-(2-hydroxyphenyl)-3-azabut-3-enyl]-1,3-imidazolidine)] with Cu(ClO4)2·6H2O produces an aqua-bridged cationic reactant complex [Cu2(μ-H2O)(μ-L)][ClO4]·1.5H2O (1·1.5H2O). Solution phase interaction of 1·1.5H2O with SCN anions in 1:1 molar ratio leads to [Cu2(μ-L)(NCS)]·2H2O (2·2H2O) that does not possess anymore the reactive aqua bridge but instead a terminal SCN anion coordinated only to one CuII ion. Whereas in 1:2 molar ratio, partial extrusion of the CuII ions takes place to generate in situ [Cu(NCS)3(OH2)] anions. These complex anions then quantitatively replace anions in 1·1.5H2O via ‘anion metathesis’ and concurrently remove the aqua bridge by coordination of linear MeCN to one of the CuII ions to give [Cu2(μ-L)(CH3CN)][Cu(NCS)3(OH2)] (3). The literature unknown [Cu(NCS)3(OH2)] anion forms an intimate H-bonded assembly with the cationic part of 3 to yield a novel [Cu3] isosceles triangle. The precursor complex is known as antiferromagnetic whereas in 2·2H2O, the CuII (S = 1/2) ions in a dinuclear entity exhibit ferromagnetic interactions (J/kB = +15.0 K and g = 2.22) to yield an ST = 1 spin ground state in good agreement with the M versus H data below 8 K.  相似文献

Three new organic-inorganic hybrid compounds [CuI(2,2′-bipy)(4,4′-bipy)0.5]2[CuI(2,2′-bipy)(4,4′-Hbipy)][CuI(4,4′-bipy)]2[P2W18O62] · 3H2O (1), [CuI(2,2′-bipy)(4,4′-bipy)0.5]2[CuI(4,4′-bipy)]2[PW12O40] · 0.25H2O (2), and[CuI(4,4′-bipy)]3[PMo12O40] · en · 3H2O (3) (2,2′- bipy = 2,2′-bipyridine, 4,4′-bipy = 4,4′-bipyridine), have been hydrothermally synthesized. Compound 1 represents the first 1D ladderlike structure formed by Dawson-type polyoxoanion [P2W18O62]6− and coordination polymer with mixed 4,4′-bipy and 2,2′-bipy ligands. The novel structure of 2 is composed of 1D hybrid zigzag chains linked by chains into a 3D framework. In compound 3, the [PMo12O40]3− clusters are hung on chains to form a new 1D chain.  相似文献

Red or orange crystals of [Co(NH3)6]2Cl2[Fe(CN)6] · 4H2O (1), [Co(en)3]2Cl2[Fe(CN)6] · 2H2O (2) and [Co(en)3]4[Fe(CN)6]3 · 21.6H2O (3) were isolated from the aqueous systems Co3+-LN-[Fe(CN)6]4− (LN = NH3, en = 1,2-diaminoethane). In all isolated samples the combination of Mössbauer (δ values were from the range −0.07 to −0.08 mm/s) and IR spectra (ν(CN) stretching vibrations in the range 2015-2047 cm−1) confirms the presence of low spin Fe(II) in [Fe(CN)6]4− anions. X-ray structure analyses corroborate the ionic character of all studied compounds. These contain diamagnetic [Co(NH3)6]3+ (1) or [Co(en)3]3+ (2 and 3) complex cations and diamagnetic [Fe(CN)6]4− complex anions. In compounds 1 and 2 chloride anions are present, too. All three compounds contain water of crystallization, in compound 3 as many as 21.6 molecules per formula unit.  相似文献

The meagre (structurally defined) array of 1:2 silver(I) (pseudo-)halide:unidentate nitrogen base adducts is augmented by the single-crystal X-ray structural characterization of the 1:2 silver(I) thiocyanate:piperidine (‘pip’) adduct. It is of the one-dimensional ‘castellated polymer’ type previously recorded for the chloride: ?Ag(pip)2(μ-SCN)Ag(pip)2? a single bridging atom (S) linking successive silver atoms. By contrast, in its copper(I) counterpart, also a one-dimensional polymer, the thiocyanate bridges as end-bound SN-ambidentate: ?CuSCNCuSCN? A study of the 1:1 silver(I) bromide:quinoline (‘quin’) adduct is recorded, as the 0.25 quin solvate, isomorphous with its previous reported ‘saddle polymer’ chloride counterpart.Recrystallization of 1:1 silver(I) iodide:tris(2,4,6-trimethoxyphenyl)phosphine (‘tmpp’) mixtures from py and quinoline (‘quin’)/acetonitrile solutions has yielded crystalline materials which have also been characterized by X-ray studies. In both cases the products are salts, the cation in each being the linearly coordinated silver(I) species [Ag(tmpp)2]+, while the anions are, respectively, the discrete [Ag5I7(py)2]2− species, based on the already known but unsolvated [Cu5I7]2− discrete, and the polymeric, arrays, and polymeric . The detailed stereochemistry of the [Ag(tmpp)2]+ cation is a remarkably constant feature of all structures, as is its tendency to close-pack in sheets normal to their P-Ag-P axes. The far-IR spectra of the above species and of several related complexes have been recorded and assigned. The vibrational modes of the single stranded polymeric AgX chains in [XAg(pip)2](∞|∞) (X = Cl, SCN) are discussed, and the assignments ν(AgX) = 155, 190 cm−1 (X = Cl) and 208 cm−1 (X = SCN) are made. The ν(AgX) and ν(AgN) modes in the cubane tetramers [XAg(pip)]4 (X = Br, I) are assigned and discussed in relation to the assignments for the polymeric AgX:pip (1:2) complexes, and those for the polymeric [XAg(quin)](∞|∞) (X = Cl, Br) compounds. The far-IR spectra of [Ag(tmpp)2]2[Ag5I7(py)2] and its corresponding 2-methylpyridine complex show a single strong band at about 420 cm−1 which is assigned to the coordinated tmpp ligand in [Ag(tmpp)2]+, and a partially resolved triplet at about 90, 110 and 140 cm−1 which is assigned to the ν(AgI) modes of the [Ag5I7L2]2− anion. An analysis of this pattern is given using a model which has been used previously to account for unexpectedly simple ν(CuI) spectra for oligomeric iodocuprate(I) species.  相似文献

The kinetics of the formation of the purple complex [FeIII(EDTA)O2]3−, between FeIII-EDTA and hydrogen peroxide was studied as a function of pH (8.22-11.44) and temperature (10-40 °C) in aqueous solutions using a stopped-flow method. The reaction was first-order with respect to both reactants. The observed second-order rate constants decrease with an increase in pH and appear to be related to deprotonation of FeIII-EDTA ([Fe(EDTA)H2O] ⇔ Fe(EDTA)OH]2− + H+). The rate law for the formation of the complex was found to be d[FeIIIEDTAO2]3−/dt=[(k4[H+]/([H+] + K1)][FeIII-EDTA][H2O2], where k4=8.15±0.05×104 M−1 s−1 and pK1=7.3. The steps involved in the formation of [Fe(EDTA)O2]3− are briefly discussed.  相似文献
